The whole town was in a panic. Some were even throwing burnt out electronics through windows. It was a bit chaotic.

Soon, everyone was called together, and Cynthia had asked to have descriptions of the Pokémon that was seen last night. The electrician said, "It's a... giant... giant... giant... Pikachu."

"A Pikachu?" asked Ash.

"Pika?"

When the electrician saw Pikachu, he screamed, and fainted.

"Okay," said Ash, "Is there anyone who managed to get a good look at the Pikachu?"

"It was like, taller than usual," said a man.

"How much taller?" asked Cynthia.

The man stood up on a chair, and he held his hand just 2 feet above his own head.

"That tall?" asked Cynthia, "How is that possible?"

"Um, I don't know," said the man, "It was just... so giant."

Ash thought for a minute, and said, "Wait, Cynthia, could I talk to you real quick?"

Ash pulled Cynthia away, as he said, "Cynthia, remember the glyphs in the ruins?"

"The glyphs in the... you think that it's a Were-Pikachu?" asked Cynthia, "I mean, that Pikachu description is close to the same height as seen on the wall."

"Do you think we can find more evidence?"

"Kachu!"

"Maybe," said Cynthia, "You don't mind staying here for a little bit longer, do you?"

"Not at all," said Ash.

So, the two humans, and Pokémon walked out, and looked around the library. Everyone helped, even the other Pokémon. Garchomp looked on a shelf, and pulled one out.

"Garr!"

Garchomp put the book down, and they got a good look at it.

"'History of Mysteries and Legends'? Good find, Garchomp," said Cynthia.

Opening the book, they looked through, and found the section. Everyone looked at it, and Ash read, "'It was long ago, when someone had made a wish. A wish to be the very thing she loved very much. She didn't know this, but she was close to the Pokémon Jirachi, who heard her wish. Seeing that she was so sweet, she granted her wish, but only with a twist. The moon brings out her wish. She, and all her ancestors, are turned into a large Pikachu. Sadly, as time went on, the Were-Pikachus were hunted down due to their obsession with electricity. Now they are all but a story.' Wow, so, it's a bit sad."

"Oh my," said Cynthia, "Is there a way to catch them?"

"Well," said Ash, "It's said that they can be lured with berries, and some electricity."

"Hmmm," said Cynthia, "Perhaps we could set up a trap."

"We're gonna need some help," said Ash.

"A what?" asked Dawn.

"Piplup?"

"It's known as a Were-Pikachu," said Ash, "Basically, a person who turns into a giant Pikachu under the moon light."

The trap was a pit with a soft bottom, so that the Were-Pikachu wouldn't hurt itself. Just then, Cynthia was called to the Pokémon League.

"I need to go," she said, "I'll leave you with one of my Pokémon with you."

Cynthia looked at her set, and decided to leave Garchomp. Garchomp was sad, but she had a type advantage.

"I'll be back before you know it," said Cynthia, "I promise."

So, Cynthia left to the league, and Ash and Dawn got ready for the evening.

Night shown all over, and the duo were sound asleep. Pikachu, Piplup and Garchomp all laid down on the ground, curled up, until something stirred, and woke up Pikachu.

"Pika?"

He got up, and walked to towards the sound. He carefully looked through the brush, until he was pushed out by something. Slowly, a familiar silhouette appeared, and looked down at him.

"Pikachu!"

Pikachu looked at the Were-Pikachu looking at him, and it sniffed him. It then wagged it's tail, bouncing back and forth for a bit, as Pikachu smiled, and played along. Garchomp slowly woke up, and saw the two Pikachu. Thinking it was an attack, Garchomp dug under the ground, and burst out, hitting the Were-Pikachu.

"PIKA!"

"GARRRRR CHOMP!"

The Were-Pikachu then charged forward, with Quick Attack, and rammed right into Garchomp, flinging her into the air, and hitting a tree so hard, it fell over. That woke up Ash, Dawn and Piplup. The two looked to see Garchomp getting up, and a giant Pikachu, with cheeks sparking in a challenge.

"Oh no! Stop!"

Garchomp then charged, and used Dragon Claw, only for it to get countered with Iron Tail, and the two fought against each other, until the Were-Pikachu head-butted Garchomp, making her stammer. Then, a large Volt Tackle came, and Garchomp tanked it, but something unexpected happened. Garchomp, was now paralyzed!

"How is this possible!?" asked Dawn, "Ground types should be completely immune to Electric Type moves and Abilities."

The Were-Pikachu then launched a giant Thunder Bolt, missing Garchomp. It hit a cliff, and Garchomp was pummeled with rocks, making her faint.

"GARCHOMP!"

Ash and Dawn ran towards Garchomp, as the Were-Pikachu ran away.

"Oh, we gotta get her to the Pokémon Center, fast!"

With much effort, the two helped up Garchomp, and lead her to the Center, where they explained everything. Ash called Cynthia, but she wasn't picking up. The League also said that she never showed up.

"What is going on?" asked Dawn.
