Justice Across Space and Time: Year 2
Chapter 24
So now comes the conflict of this arc. Or rather it'll be the start of the conflict. Introducing some of the new villains to fight alongside the Wild Villains. You can call them a mix of few things here. Given their arrival/essence will be crucial for a future event and story bead. On with the show.

'I can't believe I'm doing this.' Itsuka thought with a slight blush as she was leaning back in a large chair. And standing above her gently cupping her chin was John. A slightly audacious smirk on his face as she tried to look professional. "Perfect! Absolutely gorgeous you two! Man this feels like something out of a drama!" the photographer said while snapping shot after shot.
John blushed a little at that as well before the two were asked to move with him having a "kabedon" position over the girl. While the background showed a sunset behind them. He mostly kept himself in check, but the comments from the photographers and others watching the shoot were making him embarrassed. 'Please! Can we just end this?!' he screamed in his mind.
Once their first photos were done, Izuku, Ochaco, and Melissa were up next and it was mostly around the idea of the sweet girl getting tempted by the bad boy and girl combo. Exemplified with Melissa embracing Ochaco from behind and at a point where she could tease the girl's ears with her breath. "Oh! This is going to make the yuri fans go wild!" a person adjusting the flashes said while working.
Making Ochaco's blush go luminescent before she could calm down. And then was embarrassed again by Izuku in a stance where he was leaning on a desk while she seemed to be working on things. His sunglasses brought up before giving her a smoldering look. She didn't stick to purely embarrassed looks though. She managed to focus enough to have a star struck or similar look one would see in a shojo manga.
"Not bad. And great way to turn it around and work it~," the photographer said with a big smile. Uwabami agreed from the back before clapping and telling the teens it was time for a wardrobe change. And thus positions were flipped. With Jotaro dressing a bit like a teacher or company worker. With a special pair of glasses given to him that would simulate that his eyes were normal while not exposing his eyes to extra light.
Itsuka meanwhile had a Yankee like look with her long skirt that had a split up the side and a tattered sailor type top with a sarashi under it while also showing off her toned stomach. Topped with a gakuren cap and sunglasses and her hair let down. "Nice. Looking like a gang boss here! And opposite her is the teacher who is trying to bring her back to school!" the people working at the studio said while looking at the pair.
The pair in question gave each other looks that made each blush. "I'm so used to his tough guy or hero look that seeing him like this slightly geeky side is kind of….. hot or charming too." Itsuka thinks while peeking over at John. Gulping slightly and thinking about how he looked in the suit. "Wow uh…. Didn't think you still thought like that about me." John said with a rubbing of the back of his head.
Turning Itsuka's face scarlet as she realized she thought the one matter aloud. "Oh hooo.. Maybe we can do the shoot two ways~. But let's also see our other stars~!" Uwabami commented before gesturing to the trio as they walked in. Izuku also was looking less like a bad boy, more akin to a young married man. With Melissa having the "girl boss" look in a pant suit.
Ochaco though was given a goth look, even having her hair-colored black for the shoot. She had a dark skirt with shorts on and a black and purple striped top with tall lace-up boots. And to top off her look, she had dark eyeshadow and a cross choker around her neck.
The gravity girl was blushing before turning away and ducking from the view of her partners. Not noticing that both Izuku and Melissa were blushing quite a bit. First because the new look was setting off some serious kink bells for them. And second, was the gap between her look and the normal cute way she acts.
"Well now. Seems like we have some good set up for the next stage of the shoot." Uwabami said with a smile. That next stage being shoots where it looked like John was trying to stop Itsuka from fighting, only to be surprised by her and knocked to the ground. While running her hands on his chest (which was not actually part of the scenario). Or Ochaco eventually getting into her role and playing up being a teasing goth girl who tempted the strait-laced types into doing something else dirty. That was until something new was brought in.
"Okay, something is off with parts of this. Are you sure this isn't some cosplay shoot?" John asked finally while realizing some of the situations they were being forced to model in. And then spotting what looked like fur suits or similar in the next set of clothes brought out. However, those suits surprised Uwabami and her stylists as well.
Suddenly a few of the fur suits leapt from the racks and then tried to attack the group. John quickly moved in front of Itsuka as one slashed at him. And to his surprise, it not only hurt but he bled as well. He took a knee before the others stepped in and made their own moves. Izuku quickly put Full Cowling into action and kicked one of his foes in the face. But he was also struck hard enough that his own defenses were breached. Even feeling his own healing being weakened as he was buried under part of a wall.
Itsuka was shocked by this but shook out of it to give the werewolf that had attacked them two heavy blows to knock him back. And then used a combination of kicks against a hyena being. Knocking them into some equipment that they then destroyed by biting down on the metal. "Oh shit," she said while taking her stance.
Melissa and Ochaco attacked next. The former turning a watch she was wearing into a wrist blaster and shooting a few of the enemies with her beams. Ochaco on the other hand used her Gunhead martial arts to throw a catlike creature to the ground and cuffed them. Before using her quirk to make the other float.
Or she would have. What surprised her was that it wasn't the person that started floating, but a wolf skin she had touched. And thanks to that, the person who had been attacking collapsed. "What the hell?" Ochaco asked as the person passed out and Uwabami made her own move.
After getting back up from being knocked down, she unleashed her serpents from her head and attacked the invaders. The venom of the snakes stopped one of the foes completely, while the other two had different reactions. One was unaffected by the poison, while the other seemed to just be cramping a little before recovering.
"How is that possible? And who are these heteromorphs?" the hero questioned before dodging a slash and then bite attacks from the hyena person. At least until she was backed into a corner. She was saved when John's body moved on it's own and his arm was bitten by the attacker. "GAAHHH! Damnit! Okay that's it! I'm done playing around!" he shouted before punching his foe in the face and breaking many of their teeth. Before putting his palm forward and creating a beam of solar radiation and then nuclear energy.
The attack did knock his foes back, but it didn't take most of them out. And with a howl the attackers fled and vanished from the building. John collapsed once more as his arm was bleeding quite a bit and he felt like the bone was broken. "This is bad. Who and how did those people get their hands on stuff like that?" he asked while wincing in pain.
"John! Hold still." Itsuka said before wrapping up part of his arm with torn pieces of her top. The big hero looked down and was surprised by two things. Namely, that he could smell some tears and hear her sniffling as she was stopping the bleeding. 'This wasn't exactly the way I was expecting to get closer again,' he thought while thanking Itsuka.
Izuku meanwhile had to be helped out from the wall while nursing a few broken bones. He was healing, but a bit slower than usual. Except for one area. "Where that hyena thing got me. It's not healing right." Izuku said while looking at the slash marks. "That's because they weren't normal beast types."
The group looked to John as he was saying that. Wincing at the pain in his arm and chest from the attacks. "Those weren't heteromorphs. Those were werebeasts," he said with a firm tone. "You sure you're not just quirk profiling? I mean they just looked like a normal group of those types of people." Uwabami asked with confusion while restraining the one that she disabled with Ochaco's capture and the transformed man.
"Believe it. I wouldn't have been hurt by someone with just a quirk otherwise." John explained before looking up and perceiving the floating wolf skin. He nodded to it before saying, "that thing is the big proof. You mind dropping it Ochaco?" The gravity girl was surprised but shook out of it to do just that and tried to catch it.
Only for the head of the skin to fall on hers and she suddenly felt strange. Collapsing to her knees as the rest of the pelt covered her body, fusing with it. "Shit! We need to get that off her!" John shouted before rushing forward and grabbing the pelt. Before he could completely remove it though, Ochaco lashed out with her new claws and almost cut the man.
Izuku eyes were wide as his girlfriend was changed before him. Her nose elongated slightly but still had it's round features and her big eyes. 'All the better to see me-wait what am I thinking?' Izuku thought to himself before shaking his head and seeing more of the change.
Namely, Ochaco had grown almost a foot in height with even more increased musculature beneath her goth top, while her feet tore out of her boots and a tail came from her behind. And she had a short pair of brown wolf ears from the top of her head that twitched.
While that initially garnered a "cute" response from those watching, the predatory gleam in her eyes had different effects. Namely it was terrifying for Melissa and Izuku at first. Before both felt a little shiver of pleasure at the gaze they were under. 'Mommy… wait no! What is wrong with me?! We have to save her!' Melissa thought while gulping and then slightly slapping herself.
John cursed before saying, "Izuku snap out of it! We need to restrain her! Itsuka help me!" With that statement, Izuku shook out of his daze before creating a series of blackwhips and tendrils to hold Ochaco in place. Problem was, she was biting through the tendrils and starting to break out. Melissa made her move next (after searching her bag for a minute) and tossed some quick deploy restraints.
"Move now!" John shouted before running in with Itsuka to grab at the wolf pelt and try to pull it off Ochaco. It took a few seconds, but they eventually got the item off of the girl. Who was having trouble breathing after coming down from the change.
"What? How? What is thing?" Uwabami asked with a mix of fascination and fear. "Trouble. There aren't any better words for it. We're lucky that guy she took this pelt off wasn't very compatible with it. Though unfortunately, it seems like you are somewhat are." John said while glaring at the object in question and then giving Ochaco a look.
Who shakes her head before saying, "what do you mean? What are we dealing with? And how did they hurt you? Did they drain your power again?" Itsuka mirrors that thought but can see behind John's glasses that his eyes were still whited out with power. "So if you're not depowered, then what did it?" she asked with worry.
"Magic. At my full power, I could mitigate most of the effects and damage. But as I am, I'm at risk just as much as the rest of you are." John said before explaining what they were likely dealing with. Namely, a group of lycanthropes and other types of werebeasts. "A werehyena was the one who bit me. That's why they could actually break my bones. A normal one is capable of breaking bone, but this one was empowered by magic that could break through my defenses." John said while clutching his injured arm.
The other students were wide eyed at his description while the hero was humming. "All good information and a troubling foe to be sure. But my bigger question is: why did they attack this shoot? And to what end?" Uwabami said as the students looked to the full pro hero in the room. John looked down and admitted he didn't know either.
Izuku cupped his chin before saying, "do we know for sure that we were a target? Or anything like that? It could just be a coincidence that we were attacked. Given they jumped from that…. Rack of clothes….." As Izuku was trailing off while thinking this, he looked to the rack and his blood ran cold.
Melissa and Ochaco noticed the change and asked what he was thinking. "What if we weren't the only ones attacked? What if there are a swarm of those werebeasts out there right now! And they're attacking all sorts of people in clothing stores to other studios?!" he said with a growing panic.
And his panic was matched by the rest of the people in the studio. Just as Izuku predicted and believed, in a number of shops and various studios in the area numerous werebeasts were swarming the section of the city. And watching from above were the ten leaders of this improvised army.
"Can't believe you got enough folks to agree to this man," the bear quirked villain Bearhead said with a snort. Next to him was his friend Curator, the leader of the Wild Villains. "To be honest, I needed the help of our allies here. They found a mix of other abused animal quirk users, humans who wanted power, and true metas like themselves who wanted to rampage." Curator said with a glance from his covered eye at their allies.
The lead of whom was a young man with green skin, hair, and eyes. Eyes that were glaring down at the city in frustration and anger. Next to him was a woman with large wings from her back, almost akin to those of the current number two hero. But while Hawks's wings gave him high speed flight and blades, her wings had a different property.
Next to Curator's original member Zookeeper was a father and son pair who had various devices to either capture people or restrain them in place. All the better to steal and cause chaos. And behind the three of them were a group of strong werebeasts.
The first one snarling was a man who was chewing on an earlier kill, a woman who found out about them hiding their members within stores. He growled while blood dripped from his mouth and colored his white, black and orange sections of his fur red. He was wearing a tattered sarong that was spattered with blood.
Next to him was an even larger man who shook his white ox head. The horns of said head were burning at the tips, much as was the fire in his eyes. His traditional shirt was tight across his chest and his trousers torn due to the strange shape of his legs. "When do we make our own moves?" he asked in a rumbling voice. Seemingly ready to roar at any time.
"When they have panicked enough. As my clan moves about and attacks. Even if some may not want to," a woman in traditional Edo bead jewelry and pagne wrap said. Though she did not look like a normal woman. She was a hyena herself let out calls to her fellow hyenas on where to attack and rampage.
The ox like man let out a breath and said, "I'm not sure I'm alright with all of this destruction." The tiger let out a growling laugh and said, "not like you've got a choice. You're stuck like this just as we are. And besides, your power is more terrifying than all of ours."
"Enough. We need to have a few of them pull back. If we really want to make more of a world for beasts like us, then we need to turn more people before taking control," the green man said with a glare back to his compatriots. Curator agreed and said, "yes. This was just a taste of the chaos to come. Let us go…. Garfield, was it?"
The green man glared at his ally before saying, "don't call me that. I'm the Kemono Master." Practically stomping off before letting out a horrific cry. One that made most of the lycanthropes and animal quirked people flinch before running off. And to top off his claim as the master of beasts, he transformed into a Stellar Sea eagle and flew off. With the winged woman following behind. But not before some of her feathers fell, and caused a series of explosions beneath her wings.
Bearhead whistled before saying, "you sure you could take him?" Curator looked to his friend and admitted, "I don't know. But for now, I believe his goals align with our own. The goals to create a world for we who look as we do." Walking away as snarling, roars, hyena laughing, screams and explosions were going off below him.
There we go. So yeah. You could all guess where I was going with this new boss villain character. The other meanwhile is from a different series though. If any of you can guess, congrats. But yeah, this is going to be a whole thing with the heteromorphs having a big uprising even before the one in canon. Or that's what some will spin it as. While also having a number of people turned into monsters thanks to certain objects that shouldn't be there. Please review!
