Rainy Memories from Past to the Present
Country and Kevin are on their computers as always to monitor every security camera in the world they can look into and some comments for some certain rumors that may peak their attention, but so far nothing on their scans.
"Well, I got nothing on my end. How about you, Country?" Kevin asked.
"Same here, guess this DESPERADO group are keeping themselves on the downlow since Mistral's defeat back on that island." Country answered.
"And from what she told us; DESPERADO isn't going to let her go that easy for failing her mission." Country pointed out.
"Like how that Dolzaev killed himself with the explosion of the plant, that dude serious never had any downtime, did he?" Kevin wondered.
"Are we sure Mistral doesn't know any more than what she told us?" Kevin asked.
"She said that she was only given one mission at a time, comes back to HQ to get another mission so that way their secrets won't be reveal too much even to each other." Country explained of what Mistral told them.
"A bunch of crafty bastards, I'll give them that." Kevin commented.
"I'm also worry about leaving Mistral at Tenbi, not sure if that was a good idea." Kevin mentioned.
"Well, we could have locked her away our prison, but Kimi pointed out about the oath they made in their battle and all." Country explained that too.
"But I'm sure they'll be okay, Tenbi is full of power users and they're strongest ones are going to watch over here along with Raiden." Country pointed out.
"I guess that ease me up a little, but I get a weird feeling that Miss Wind of France just want to get closer to Raiden." Kevin said rubbing his chin a little.
"Just focus on finding any clues about DESPERADO and try not to eat any chili pepper sandwiches." Country advised.
"You're never going to let that go, are you?" Kevin asked.
"It's your fault I couldn't come in here for days." Country glared making Kevin feel his spine shivering.
"Right, I'm really sorry, ma'am! I promise to never do that ever again!" Kevin promised in fear.
"That's good to hear." Country smiled and got back to work on her computer.
"(Man, this woman is scary when she gets mad. Even Raiden wouldn't dare challenge her when she's like this.)" Kevin thought sighed.
(Tenbi Academy, Gym)
"All right, everyone take a seat." Minori ordered her students as they are about to begin their Element Practice in the gym.
"Now, I want everyone to concentrate on the crystal ball I gave you." Minori said holding a crystal ball in her hand.
Raiden, Takeru, Inaho, everyone in the class is focusing their powers into the crystal ball as they are practicing their elements on the smaller scale.
"If you focus, you should be able to see the black fog inside. That fog is called element, it's easy enough to summon, but it takes real mastery and skill to control." Minori explained about Element.
"Your first task is to concentrate on moving the fog to the center of the crystal." Minori said.
Raiden is doing okay as he got the black fog to center within the crystal ball forming into a perfect circle shape and made it into the shape of a katana just for fun, Takeru seems to be doing well getting his black fog at the center.
"Wow, that's amazing, Takeru! You're really doing it; it's actually gathering in the middle of the ball." Inaho amazed which got Raiden's attention.
"Hmm, not bad." Raiden commented.
But then Takeru couldn't hold the concentration for a few seconds longer and the fog within the ball split into few pieces.
"Man, this is really hard. If you lose focus for a millisecond then it goes back to the way it was." Takeru said.
"Hard for you, maybe. I heard it was a piece of cake for Haruko." Uruchi mentioned.
"That doesn't surprise me at all. She's pretty amazing with that Maken of hers." Takeru said proudly for Haruko.
"Don't sell yourself short, you can be pretty amazing too if you focus on one thing at a time and see it through to the very end. It's all about willpower and all." Raiden stated.
"Like you with your missions." Takeru asked.
"Speaking of missions, have your "friends" from the other side found out anything about the group that crazy chick you fought?" Kengo asked curiously.
"No, they got nothing so far, but that won't stop them from finding even the tiniest info." Raiden answered without looking away from the crystal ball.
"You want to go on one those missions?" Takeru wondered.
"I don't know, sounds too dangerous though it would be nice to see some hot foreign chicks." Kengo grinned.
"Of course, you would think like that." Raiden said.
"No talking!" Minori smacked Takeru and Kengo on the head.
"Unless you have something more important to talk about than the mastery of Element." Minori said with scolding eyes.
"No, sorry, ma'am." Keno and Takeru apologized.
"If you don't think this exercise is worth your time, I guarantee you'll regret it." Minori said and look to Raiden.
"Raiden, why don't you tell these two about the proper use of Element." Minori ordered.
"The use of Element can be as effective to your body as most Maken, if not even more, the power can enhance our physical bodies to reach superhuman level or more if we train harder." Raiden explained what he knows about Element so far.
"Exactly, but perhaps words aren't getting through our skull. So, we're gonna have to do a little demonstration." Minori grinned.
"No, I'm okay, actually." Takeru assured, but Minori wasn't backing down from this.
"Since you're too dumb to grasp this concept, you leave me no choice." Minori said feeling a little excited.
"Mr. Raitoningu and Mr. Kurigasa! Please step forward to me!" Minori called out.
"Huh, are you talking to me?" Kai surprised when his name was called out like that.
"Might as well get this over with." Raiden said as he stands up.
Raiden and Kai were ordered stand across from each other about over 25 feet while the other students are standing to the side of the wall.
"Okay kid, now bring up your Maken and Raiden will attack you with his bare hands." Minori said.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kai asked worry for Raiden.
"I already know about your Maken, making your body harder than iron, and I think it would be interesting to see how hard you can make yourself against one of my punches." Raiden grinned.
"Okay, just don't come crying to me if you end up breaking your fists." Kai warned.
"Just be sure to get yourself ready, kid. Because I would hate to see you get hurt." Minori said.
"Now Raiden, start by channeling the energy of Element from your foot." Minori instructed.
"Got it." Raiden nodded then focus his Element energy on his foot.
"Then the hips then focus the Element on your fist." Minori said as Raiden does just that.
"Imagine it flowing through every part of you. You got to learn even without a Maken, there's a whole lot you can do." Minori grinned, seeing Raiden channeling his Element so perfectly.
Raiden look at Kai putting up his defense as he waits for the attack to happen and the former killer felt his instinct screaming in his head to attack now, he leaps forward at blinding speed and struck Kai with a punch that send him crashing through a wall.
"Hmm, guess even hardness can't always withstand a powerful force that comes his way." Raiden commented.
"Hey, was that good?" Raiden asked Minori.
"You bet it was, now everyone knows the amazing things they can do with element and training in it." Minori smirked.
"But we're wimps!" Takeru and Kengo complained.
"(Those two are sure peas in a pot.)" Raiden thought deadpanned at those two perverts.
"That was the strongest element I've ever seen." Kai groaned as he got back inside.
"Nice to know you survive a punch that was intent to kill." Raiden said.
"What? You mean you were going to kill me for real?!" Kai gasped.
"Not exactly, I held back my punch just a little though I wanted to see if you can survive consider our principal is also strong to kill a normal man in one punch if she wants to." Raiden stated pointing his thumb at Minori.
"Oh stop, you're making me feel all fizzy inside." Minori giggled and blushing.
"I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a compliment?" Kengo said sweatdrop.
"Out of all of us, that woman is more dedicated to Tenbi and being proud of the powers she's born with which makes her a very strong woman." Raiden complimented.
"(Oh God, I don't think I ever felt this way toward any man before until now!)" Minori thought smiled with her heart beating faster than ever.
"Are you alright?" Inaho asked getting Kai's attention.
"Do you need to go see the nurse?" Inaho asked concern for her classmate.
"Nah, it's nothing. Besides, my head's as hard as a rock. Don't worry about me." Kai assured with a smile.
Hearing those words made Inaho gasp a little and a memory came surfacing into her mind as she looks back on her childhood when she knew Takeru.
(Flashback)
Little Inaho is seen at a park looking at a younger Takeru banging his head on a tree several times though acts like it isn't bother him.
"Don't worry about me. My head is as hard as a rock. I banged it against stuff all the time." Takeru assured with a smile.
(Flashback End)
"Oh no, Kai!" Takeru panicked that snaps Inaho out of her memories.
She became shocked of seeing that Kai is suddenly on the floor face-first and doesn't appear to be getting back up, Minori check his pulse and sigh in relief that the large muscle boy is only unconscious.
"Hey dude, I thought you were holding back your strength?" Kengo asked.
"I did, but it looks like that was still too strong for Kai to handle." Raiden looked down at the unconscious guy.
"Yeah, and not to mention you also broke the wall too." Takeru pointed at the big human shape hole.
"Guess I've been a little too good in the mood." Raiden chuckled.
"Well, in that case then you can help me fix up this wall as detention after school." Minori ordered.
"That's fair." Raiden nodded and notice Inaho is looking out of it like she isn't with the class right now though looking at Takeru.
Later as class ended, everyone went to the separate locker rooms to change into their school uniforms and Raiden decided to ask Takeru about something.
"Hey Takeru, is Inaho feeling okay today?" Raiden asked.
"Feeling okay? What do you mean?" Takeru asked back, confuse of the question.
"I just noticed that she was staring into space and looking a little sad for some reason. Thought you would know consider you're her roommate and you two are supposed to be childhood friends." Raiden explained.
"Oh, I did saw she was looking a little off earlier, but she told me that she is fine except…" Takeru paused his sentence.
"But you don't believe that and feeling worried for her. Is that right?" Raiden guessed.
"Got me there, just wish there was a way for me to help her." Takeru said.
"Well, the best you can do for her is just being by her side since that seems to make her happy the most." Raiden advised.
"And you're sure you don't remember ever meeting her as a kid?" Raiden asked.
"Nope, still nothing and yet at the same time, I've been feeling like I have known her for a long time." Takeru stated.
"Maybe your memories are being blocked, buried deep within your mind." Raiden said.
"You really think that's the reason?" Takeru wondered as the two boys finished changing out walk out of the locker room.
"I think so, and that can only happen when something really bad must've happened to you in the past that is blocking out the other memories of your childhood." Raiden stated.
"Something bad really happened to me." Takeru said.
Then a certain memory came rushing into his head for a moment of seeing someone important he knew and there was blood, and this made him gasp.
"Are you okay?" Raiden asked concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little headache." Takeru assured as he got himself straight again.
"Well, just let me know how things between you and Inaho goes." Raiden walked away back to the gym to help fix that hole in the wall.
"Okay, see ya." Takeru waved goodbye and walk to where Inaho should be right now.
"(Maybe spending time with Inaho should help me at least remember a little something about her.)" Takeru thought hoped.
(Gym)
"Hey, I'm here." Raiden called out to Minori who is looking at the wall.
"Nice, I was actually worried that you wouldn't come and I have to do the work all by myself." Minori smiled.
"Really? I thought you would doing all the hard work by yourself." Raiden teased a little.
"Hey! The only hard work I never like doing is the damn stacks of paperwork, like the ones I would have been doing if you hadn't so kindly accepted the job of fixing the wall with me." Minori smirked.
"I see the cheapskate is showing again." Raiden chuckled.
"So, do you got the stuff to fix the wall?" Raiden asked walking up to the wall.
"Duh, I got to be prepared for anything and this is so going to save me a lot of money!" Minori giggled.
"Hey, let me ask you something." Raiden said as he and Minori got started on fixing the wall.
"If you're wondering about my three sizes, I might be interested in telling you that." Minori teased with a smirk.
"No, not like that! You're almost like Chacha in a way." Raiden glared while his face is blushing hard.
"Oh man, I got you good." Minori laughed a little.
"Have you ever forgotten something from your childhood, about one thing in your life a friend from a long time ago?" Raiden asked.
"Huh, now that's something I never thought of before though I do remember everyone I knew like my family, the friends I made over the years, and the awesome rep in Tenbi Academy like forming Maken-Ki which I'm planning on making that into the history books of our school." Minori bragged.
"Anyway, why ask that?" Minori asked curious.
"It's about Takeru and Inaho, the two of them are childhood friends except Takeru can't seem to remember anything about her because of a tragic event happened to him in the past." Raiden explained.
"Oh, well, I can only think of one reason for that though I'm not the person to tell you that." Minori said.
"But I will tell you this. He seems to hate his father for what happened to his mom." Minori mentioned.
"I can only guess that she died years ago in a fight or something like that." Raiden guessed.
"Wow, good guess but that's all you're getting out of me." Minori said.
Minori look at Raiden seeing that face of his has cause her heart to race up again like earlier and some time whenever she thinks about him, she knew what this feeling is though didn't want to admit it just yet as she wants to confirm this with Raiden without letting him know yet.
"So, Raiden, about what you said earlier during class… Did you really mean all that?" Minori asked.
"About you being a capable woman? Yeah, I felt your heart and strength when we first fought in that battle of ours, you're awesome in your own special way and know how to make things a little exciting." Raiden complimented.
This causes Minori's heart to race again which definitely confirms that she really is in love with Raiden.
"Hey Raiden, we're here to bring you some snacks." Chacha called out as she and Kimi walk in together.
"Hey girls, you didn't have to do that." Raiden greeted.
"We just thought you could use a little something since you won't be coming home for a while and we decided to show something extra special." Chacha grinned.
That is when Mistral walk into the scene revealing to be wearing a pink maid outfit with cat ears.
"Hello Master, I'm here at your service." Mistral winked and Minori just straight up laugh from this.
"Why is she wearing a maid outfit?" Raiden asked blushing.
"Just to get a reaction." Kimi giggled.
