Chapter 15: Nineteen Kings

Unknown Location

There were nineteen silhouettes but enough to make the details apparent-

A titanic, obese being made of chocolate with two vaguely humanoid heads with apparently entirely black edges, square ridged maws, large arms, and stubby legs. He wore a magenta captain's coat covered in candies over their shoulders and a magenta tricorn hat with a Jolly Roger of two brown vaguely humanoid skulls with the crossbones being candy canes.

A very tall old man with a billowing silver hat covered in musical notes and ancient runes, a long silver robe with spiked shoulder pads, a silver scarf, bushy eyebrows, and a long beard with lightning bolt-shaped ends. He had a silver captain coat draped over his shoulders with his Joly Roger being a skull with a wizard's hat and beard, and his crossbones being musical notes. He had a massive guitar wielded on his back.

A large, well-proportioned muscular man with long blonde hair and a chest-length white beard designed to look like it was made of clouds, he wore a blue chiton reaching his sandaled feet with white cloud designs held by a platinum pin displaying a three-eyed deity. He had massive rainbow wings on his upper back and a third eye sharing the same wisteria ripple irises as his main two. He had a blue captain coat draped over his shoulders with his Jolly Roger- a winged skull with his beard with lightning bolts behind him.

A massive, ancient owl humanoid male with bushy feathery eyebrows, long strands of beard feathers, a feathery beard covered in various clocks, glowing yellow eyes with no pupils, small spectacles, a tattered black captain's coat draped over his shoulders, two literal elongated horns emerging on the top of his head, heavily scarred talons, and clawed hands covered in scars with large wing feathers attached to the arms and massive wings on his back.

A well-proportioned colossal black-skinned humanoid, easily the largest of the group, dressed in equally massive purple armor- adorned with demonic faces across the armor, a jagged red and black cape tied just below his neck that connected to a white mane collar, and a crest of a red-outlined pitch-black skull with red eyes devouring the Jolly Rogers of countless pirates adorning the back of his cape, long white hair that reached his lower back, a pure black face with red eyes that occasionally flashed a jagged maw with a red interior that bellowed blue smoke, a purple helmet, a white vulture skull perched on top of the helmet, and two pitch-black auroch horns pointing forward with red highlights. He wielded an ax with a toothy mouth and red eyes that seemed alive. His Jolly Roger as mentioned- is a black skull with countless Jolly Rogers in its jaws.

A huge, well-proportioned massive platinum robotic being with a golden segmented oval bump that served as his mouth, pure golden iris eyes, two silver horns placed with one in front of the other in a rhinoceros-like pattern on the golden section of the upper part of his platinum head with two elongated spikes on the temples of its head resembling rhino ears, he had massive shoulder pads with the alchemic symbol for the philosopher's stone, bulky chest armor with a topaz jewel in the center, a dark gray, segmented mid-section similar to the exposed arms connecting to the enlarged oval arm-guards covered in topaz jewels, a platinum kelt covering his legs, bulky platinum lower leg armor with a topaz jewel in the center of the shin, a topaz jewel in the center of the elbow, an enlarged metallic collar piece surrounding all, but the front of his dark-gray segmented neck. He had a metallic, segmented cape with a massive drill sheathed on his back. His Jolly Roger of a mechanical skull- squared with gears as the crossbones.

A much smaller, well-proportioned human skeleton at 12 feet tall, dressed in tattered typical grayish-green pirate attire including a tricorne black hat, a green bandana, a long grayish-green overcoat with an array of bronze buttons draped over his shoulders, a black vest buttoned with bronze buttons, grayish-green undershirt with billowing sleeves ending at wide white cuffs buttoned back, dark grayish-green trousers leading into brown boots, and wore a green sash around his waist. His Jolly Roger of a grim reaper in a hood with the crossbones replaced with scythes adorned the back of the hooded skull- all emblazoned on the front of his hat and the center of his overcoat. He wielded two massive rifles on his back and a massive saber on his left side. He was a male skeleton with a black eyepatch over his right eye and had a long "beard" made entirely of bones.

A heavily wrinkled, scarred, well-proportioned, pale-purple-skinned giant elderly male from his appearance alone, towered over any conventional Giant, his sunken-in eyes were obscured by the wrinkles around his eye sockets that gave the impression that he had purple eyes amid the black voids. His face outside of his eyes and nose were obscured by his large light purple beard- covered in yellow star markings and was bald with the head covered in scars. What was visible behind the beard implied he was bare-chested with a tattered overcoat draped over his wide shoulders made of some esoteric outer space material, arm/leg bands made of the same odd material as the cape, but capped off with gold bands. He also wore dark purple pants with light purple arcane runes and was barefoot. His Jolly Roger was a purple orb with a ring around it with two sets of antennae serving as the crossbones.

A dark-skinned, big-full-lipped man with an unusual afro that was blue with white star markings with red-white striped sideburns and a matching red-white striped goatee. He wore an open elongated pink boxing jacket with magenta lining, magenta star-shaped glasses with white rims, boxing shorts of matching pink with magenta highlights, dark pink magenta gloves, pink boxing shoes, and a golden bullet with his Jolly Roger, a skull with his unusual afro with sideburns. He was muscular and well-proportioned with long legs and stood at 9 feet tall.

An indigo, Cerebus Mink, with three indigo iris-eyed lupine heads surrounded by dark indigo cobra snakes protruding from the neck area. He was bare-chested with a dark gray cobblestone-made cape draped over his shoulders with his sigil of his Joly Roger comprised of several animal skulls with the crossbones behind them, wore dark, spiked indigo armbands, and dark indigo pants, and went barefoot. He had a long indigo serpent tail. He stood at 20 feet tall.

A bespectacled well-proportioned busty woman of 6'11 in height with a sea-foam green haircut that seemed to be made of green leaves, at lower-back length She wears an emerald clover-shaped headdress adorned with four-leaf clovers that a pair of green, floppy dog-like ears, a light green holy priestess outfit that divided at the midriff exposing midsection with a long skirt and crop top with billowing sleeves and a white caplet with a cross at the front of the neck that led down her chest. Her upper jaw and nose also look like those of a dog, hinting at some Mink ancestry. She had a green overcoat draped over her shoulders with her Joly Roger being a skull with clovers serving as the crossbones.

A bulky stout older, well-proportioned gentleman of 10 feet tall with an experienced, world-weary expression on his face. He has short combed white hair, prominent cheekbones, and a thick white mustache that somewhat merges into his thick white beard. He had a round nose, and wore a grey-blue eyepatch over his right eye. He wears blue fisherman's dungarees over a white short-sleeved t-shirt, has a silver hook for a right hand, and has a right metallic peg leg. Over his shoulders was a tattered Admiral's coat with golden epaulets. His body was covered in battle scars. His Jolly Roger was a skull in his image with a single anchor as his crossbones.

A well-proportioned, curvaceous woman at 7 feet tall with soft pale skin, and silver rippled iris eyes. She has "finely textured" blonde hair that seems "as if sprinkled with gold dust" tied in a bun with long bangs with the implication that the hair was actually long enough to reach the floor. She was clad in silver and blue armor that had an opening for her midriff and ample bosom with a long white skirt. She had a rainbow version of a pirate captain coat similar to that of Gold D. Roger draped over her white regal cape with periwinkle-furred lining. She constantly exhibited a rainbow aura that expelled participles in the form of angelic feathers, signifying a vastly different level of power compared to everyone present. She had a massive sword with an ornate design sheathed on her back. Her Jolly Roger on the sword was a noble-looking, crowned skull with a refined X for crossbones.

A 6'7, well-proportioned, curvaceous woman with blue hair with two pigtails with the rest of the long hair flowing down- all tied with pink bows. She had a pink, round clown nose and unusual heterochromatic eyes- the right eye with white sclera with a blue iris with a yellow cross-shaped pupil, and the left eye with a black sclera with a red iris. She wore a dull blue ruffled color, a blue top with puffy shoulders. The top had long coattails with an opening to reveal her midriff, having long baggy blue pants ending in blue clown shoes. She wore a belt with a clown face in the center. Her Jolly Roger was unusual- the right half was a smiling blue clown face and the left half was a purple evil clown face with a red eye.

A 7'2 well-proportioned, curvaceous woman with long shaggy grey hair, she wore a jagged long coat with an exaggerated, elongated dark gray collar, a corset crop top of gray color, a gray long skirt, and gray boots. She wore a rainbow headband. The most striking feature was her pair of visible white fangs and her unusual eyes- which had a ripple design of rainbow circles within the eye. Her Jolly Roger was a rainbow skull with rainbow serpents serving as the crossbones.

A 9'2 elderly man of a round, rotund body type, wearing a white-fur-trimmed red coat with a black belt with a golden buckle, red pants with black boots, black gloves, and a red overcoat worn over his coat. He had a round nose, small spectacles, a red hat with a long tip ending in a white tuff, and a large burlap sack filled with toys positioned behind his seat. His Jolly Roger was a skull with a pink round nose, a beard, the same cap as the owner, and candy canes serving as the crossbones.

An 11-foot tall man in his prime with a stumbled chin and upper mouth, having back-length long sea-green hair that covered the right side of his face. He was barechested, wearing blue armbands with water droplet symbols in the center. He wore a blue coat with golden trident symbols, one which split in two at the front with a single cloth going down like a loincloth over his blue baggy pants with leg bands with wave patterns and was barefoot. He had a massive trident worn behind him. His Jolly Roger was a a skull with tridents as his crossbones.

A massive green, humanoid with an octopoid head that had a set of four yellow eyes, elongated arms, and a pair of leathery green wings emerging from his back. Draped over his shoulders was a gray-green coat with golden epaulets and wore a pair of purple pants with dark purple shoes and a purple belt with a purple monster head as a buckle. He wore a green bandana over his head. His Jolly Roger was a winged skull with a tentacle beard with a set of four yellow eyes.

And the captain of the group that had discovered the golden ship- a man of 6'5, wearing a turban with dull gold cloth hanging from the sides, a face-covering mask that only exposed a portion of his tan skin as well as his left golden iris eye, a mid-gray yellow scarf, a strap-tied yellow vest, a yellow sash, a long dark-blackish yellow cloth over his baggy dull-dark yellow pants with dark golden yellow boots that ended in a curved point, a dark yellow coat worn over his attire with curved shoulders, and two large diamonds emerging from the sides, puffy long sleeves, and bejeweled armbands ending in fingerless gloves. His Jolly Roger was a golden skull with a ruby in the right eye and a sapphire in the right with a gold star as the crossbones equivalent.

They were sitting at a table on an island where the flowers, trees, rocks, etc. were all laughing.

"These breaches in space between the Red Line and the other Lines are becoming more frequent.," spoke the man with the pincer claw.

Moby D. Ahab- Captain of the Anchor Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Classic Line.

"What gives you the right to call the shots? I didn't nominate ya chairman.," spoke the lupine head of the Cerberus Mink.

Sharvana D. Blackdog- Captain of the Cryptid Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Feral Line.

The chocolate behemoth yawned and said, "Talking...don't care...where food?"

Live D. Sey- Captain of the Candy Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Elemental Line.

The giant owl humanoid leaned forward, the clocks on his beard chiming softly with his movement. "These are signs that point to most timelines converging- the reopening of the OLD WORLD to the Red Line."

Grey D. Abe/Greybeard- Captain of the History Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Time Line.

The woman with the rainbow aura spoke up, her voice as melodious as a harp's strings. "Yeah, that sounds rad. Maybe there's some nice folks there."

Dracule D. Carmilla- Captain of the Rainbow Pirates/ Pirate Leader of the Rainbow Line.

The robotic captain's segmented neck turned to face Greybeard, the golden gear in his mouth moving as if he were about to speak. "And there's those Dregs who call themselves gods. They need to be dragged down from their perches and purged like we've done with all of their relatives in our Lines".

Ama D. Eus- Captain of the Machine Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Silver Line.

The skeletal captain, with the skeletal beard, leaned against the table, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "The Florian Triangle. I wonder if it's still foggy with those things living there."

William D. Bill/Bonebeard- Captain of the Limbo Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Undying Line.

The man in the red suit spoke, "I've been waiting for centuries to give out gifts for children in the Red Line and to let them know that they have something to hope for."

Nicholas D. Kringle- Captain of the Kringle Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Polar Line.

The woman with the clown face smirked, "And I've got a whole new audience to entertain. Think of the screams of joy and applause!"

Crusoe D. Robinson- Captain of the Dream Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Dream Line.

The green-haired woman with the dog nose spoke, "I hope they're taking care of the Adam, Eve, and Lillith Trees."

Elephane D. Une- Captain of the Clover Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Weald Line.

The octopoid captain, spoke in an utterly alien tongue, but the translation spoke into their minds, "Can I get this done with? I want to go back to rest?"

Friday D. Xury- Captain of the Eldritch Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Monster Line.

The blue-green-haired man stared coldly and muttered, "Tedious."

Eurypulus D. Triton- Captain of the Triton Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Blue Line.

The large, well-proportioned muscular man with long blonde hair and a chest-length white beard designed to look like it was made of clouds spoke, "Seems like some of us are too unenthusiastic to be here. Lighten up will you?"

Smollett D. Jupiter- Captain of the Olympian Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Cloud Line.

A very tall old man with a billowing silver hat covered in musical notes and ancient runes said to the others, "This is going to be a major change going forward. Some of you are too young to remember but the OLD WORLD used to be well-connected with the Red Line."

Squire D. Trelawney- Captain of the Orchestra Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Symphony Line.

The purple Giant spoke with a hearty chuckle, "Chao-Chao-Chao. You shoulda be there. Joy was fun to be around. It's a damn shame what happened to him. Wonder how the immigrants from my Line are doing in that Elbaf...Elbaph...where the Nidavell reside?"

Ginnungagap D. Chaos- Captain of the Interstellar Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Cosmic Line.

The odd afro-boxer then spoke up as he stood, "Oh no! I forgot to turn on the air conditioner!" He then walked to a nearby plant and tapped its top feather as the area immediately became cooler. Judging from the oddly bemused reactions of the others, it was just him causing the world to react to his odd logic.

Donquixote D. Mancha- Captain of the Wacky Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Absurd Line.

The blond woman with the eyepatch spoke up, "We should get ready. They'll be all heading over...to claim the title of Pirate King."

John D. Silva- Captain of the Hope Pirates/Pirate Leader of the Sacred Line.

"Bah. We're all Pirate Kings here. But, the time in which one will match Joy to take his place as Pirate King of the Red Line will never come. Only three in 8 centuries came close, but he didn't measure up. They are ignorant of what came before them. And none of them have the same standards. So why not take them under our wing and instruct them in the RIGHT WAY," said the well-proportioned colossal black-skinned humanoid in purple armor.

Duff D. Jonah- Captain of the Apocalypse Pirates/Pirate King of the Abyssal Line.

"Wait, you're saying the doorway's going to open?," asked the man in the ornate golden robes.

El D. Orado- Captain of the Treasure Pirates/Pirate King of the Gold Line.

They then noticed the curtain rift of the sky open as for the first time in 800 years, the Red Line was finally permanently opened.

And both sides will clash.
