The Bakugo household was silent as two figures slowly approached it. Neither making much noise as they quietly unlocked and opened the front door.

``Keep your power levels down, we don't want to alert the loud one."

"Which one is the loud one?"

"Which one do you think?"

"I think two of them are pretty loud from what I remember?"

"And I seem to remember Piccolo being better at training stealth." Mitsuki said as she turned the light on, grinning as she saw Piccolo glaring at her in the corner of the room, while a purple and white blur slammed into her with a shriek of happiness.

"Auntie Mitzy!" Izumi cried as she hugged the older woman with all she had.

"Izumi!" Mitsuki chuckled as she hugged the girl, "look at you! You're all grown up! And what is it you're wearing!"

Izumi giggled as she stepped back, truthfully she had really grown into herself, her hair was long and reached down to the center of her back, and was held down by a familiar looking white turban with a purple orb at the top, as well as pointed shoulder pads covered by a white cape. She also wore a purple training gi on underneath that, with red boots covering her feet, her muscles were slender and defined as she crossed her arms, "do we look alike?" she asked innocently, trying to look as grumpy as Piccolo currently did.

"Definitely." Mitsuki laughed as she looked at Piccolo, "did you really fashion her training weights to be like yours?"

"Hmph, brat wouldn't tell me how she got them or where she got them from." Piccolo muttered, a small smirk betraying the annoyance he was trying to convey.

"I thought we looked cool matching like this." izumi pouted as Mitsuki stepped forward and hugged her again, "it's so good to see you Auntie…" Izumi whispered.

"It's good to see you too you little Imp," Mitsuki sighed fondly, "Katsuki is already asleep, so we'll have to continue the reunion tomorrow, do you two need a place to stay?"

"Toshinori has a hotel set up for us." Piccolo answered, walking forward, "he's in town.'

"Is he now?" Mitsuki asked, a slight edge creeping into her voice, "and yet he didn't come to see me?"

Piccolo cringed slightly, "he's...busy…" he muttered as Izumi giggled.

"Hmph, tell the Blonde Dipstick that I'm expecting him by lunch tomorrow, if he doesn't show…" she trailed off as she gave a blood thirsty grin.

'Right…' Piccolo sighed, "we just wanted to drop in real quick, didn't think you and Masaru went to sleep so early."

Mitsuki's smile fell slightly, "well, Katsuki goes to sleep at nine now so he can get an early start and training and Masaru...well he's not living here anymore." she muttered.

Piccolo closed his eyes, "I'm sorry."

"Don't be.' Mitsuki mumbled, her eyes downcast for a few seconds before she looked back to Izumi, "and you Missy, make sure you're wearing something other than training gear tomorrow.' Mitsuki said with a slightly strained smile.

"Other than...training gear…" izumi mumbled faintly, looking slightly lost.

"You...do have other clothes right?" Mitsuki asked hesitantly.

"I uh...have a t-shirt and sweats for when I sleep?" she chuckled nervously as Mitsuki's eyes seemed to light up.

"Oh that just won't do! I'll need to call Ryoku and Nemuri! We'll get you a full wardrobe!"

"But I-" Izumi began, only for her aunty to cut her off.

"Izumi! Be honest with me, do you really want to wear nothing but training weights and a gi until UA sends your uniform?"

Izumi hesitated, looking at Piccolo, who shrugged, "this one's you," he said firmly, 'i won't fault you for wanting to wear something else, just remember that any time you train, you'll still need to wear what you are now."

She slowly nodded, 'okay...okay! Let's go shopping tomorrow!"

"That's the spirit!"

The Next Day

Mitsuki laughed alongside Nemuri and Ryoku as they walked back towards the house, Izumi in front of them happily skipping along in a new blue sundress, her hair no longer looked wild and untamed but instead clean and shiny and braided in a fishtail down her back.

"You look so beautiful Zumi!" Mitsuki gushed as she hugged her niece, making her giggle.

"The boys will be having a hard time ignoring you." Nemuri said haughtily, "you'll be controlling them with just a flick of your hair."

"Why would I want to do that?" Izumi asked in confusion.

""Well you see-" Nemuri began with a lecherous grin, only for Ryoku to slam her fist into the top of the lewd woman's head.

"She's fifteen Kayama, let's not corrupt her innocence."

"I'll corrupt your innocence."

As the two dissolved into bickering, Mitsuki and Izumi continued walking, "Nemuri and Ryoku." Mitsuki sighed, "you can cut the sexual tension between those two with a toy knife."

Izumi giggled, "I guess you three used to work together?"

"Yep! They were apart of a team me and Inko made," Mitsuki said, smiling fondly, 'The Femme Fatales, we worked well together, but after you and Katsuki were born we retired, and Nemuri and Ryoku went their separate ways."

Izumi seemed to deflate at the Mentioning of Katsuki, "right...Kacchan…" she mumbled.

Mitsuki looked at her niece, "did you already run into Katsuki before we met at the mall? If he said anything I'll-"

"N-no! No! Nothing like that," she reassured quickly, "It's just...well, our last phone call he told me to stop bothering him...and I don't know why."

Mitsuki sighed and gave the younger girl a side hug, "I wish I could tell you." she said softly, "he started acting disinterested when I would bring you up two years after you left. And he just got worse about it."

"Maybe I need to talk with him, face to face and clear the air...I don't want to lose my first friend."

"Lets hope you two can figure things out." Mitsuki said as they reached her house, opening the door and letting Izumi walk in.

"SURPRISE!"

several people ducked down as Izumi yelped and fired off three ki blasts. Narrowly missing Krillin and Chiaotsu while Master Roshi casually flicked the Ki towards Piccolo, who crushed it in his hands.

"Sorry…" Izumi said sheepishly.

"Never apologize for good reflexes." Krillin said as he stood up, grinning from ear to ear.

"UNCLE KRILLIN!" Izumi squealed as she hugged the short bald man, "you grew hair!"

"Yup!" He laughed, running a hand through his hair, "18 loves it, she's sorry she couldn't come by but Marin is sick."

"How is little Marin?" She asked excitedly.

"Walking and talking!"

"Am I not gonna get any love over here?"

"Uncle Tien!"

Mitsuki smiled as she watched her niece reconnect with old faces. Krillin and Tien were doing their best to make Izumi pout about how she was only slightly taller than Krillin while Chiaotsu flew around them in happiness, behind them her distant aunts Chichi and Bulma were waiting their turn to say hello; the two hadn't been as close as the others, and it was really their late husband's who shared blood relation, but they had responded to the call and were overjoyed to see their niece.

Master Roshi was currently flirting with Ryoku and Nemuri, and striking out badly alongside Oolong.

"Now, where's my little demon of a son." Mitsuki muttered to herself.

She wished she could just sense his power level, but the boy had refused to learn the same techniques she had, instead relying on his quirk and weight training; he had sneered at the very thought of learning Ki control.

"Mitsuki!' Bulma called, walking over,"where's Katsuki? I thought he'd be here?"

"So did I," she sighed, "he may be with his friends...how's Trunks? He and Goten went to Shiketsu didn't they?"

"Yeah, little shits are having a fun time giving us gray hairs." Bulma grumbled "can you believe they jumped into that Sludge villain incident? They don't even have a provisional license yet!"

"That never stopped any of us." Mitsuki said with a grin.

As the two mothers laughed, the front door suddenly flew open, "hey ya old hag! What the fuck is going on?"

Mitsuki swallowed the anger that spiked up, "katsuki, i told you to be home sooner!"

"And I said fuck off.'the boy growled as he walked into the main room, stopping slightly at the sight of everyone he knew being in one room.

Izumi's eyes lit up as she literally flew into Katsuki, hugging him tightly.

"KACCHAN!"

"Get off of me!" He snapped, pushing her off, much to her confusion, "I'll be upstairs." He grumbled, walking away from the now quiet room.

"B-but Kacchan I wanted to-" Izumi began to say, stopping when he cut her off.

"Don't call me that Deku! Leave me alone!"

Izumi watched him walk away, tears stinging her eyes "e-excuse me everyone." She said quietly as she flew out the back door.

Mitsuki began to angrily stomp towards the stairs, "when I get my hands on that brat-" she began, only to stop as Piccolo put his hand on her shoulder.

"Go check on Izumi." He said gruffly, glaring up the stairs, "I'll talk with Katsuki."

"Hmph, good luck." Mitsuki muttered before flying out the room, everyone looking decidedly uncomfortable.

"Get back to the party. Izumi will be back." Piccolo grumbled, walking up the stairs.

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

Izumi was crying atop a large skyscraper, her tears landing on the cold concrete as she tried to wipe them away angrily.

"Stop it. No more tears, remember? She sniffled as a familiar power level landed behind her.

"Phew! I'm way out of shape." Mitsuki huffed as she walked towards Izumi, 'Izumi, are you alright?"

Izumi sniffled again, "I don't know…" she mumbled as new tears began trailing down her cheeks, "I don't understand what I did wrong, why does Kacchan hate me?"

"Oh honey…" Mitsuki sighed, hugging her niece as she continued to cry. "You did nothing wrong."

"Then why does he hate me?"

Mitsuki hesitated, "I don't know, but I'm going to get to the bottom of this, I promise."

Izumi sniffled and wiped away her tears. "I'm sorry," she mumbled.

"It's not your fault Izumi, besides, every girl deserves a good cry." Mitsuki said with a smile, "Now come on, let's get back to the party.

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

Mitsuki sighed in relief as Izumi once again mingled with the other party goers.

"How is she?"

Mitsuki gave Piccolo a side eye, "as good as she can be, has my worthless son said anything?"

"Not with his words." Piccolo said, crossing his arms, "I'd advise against trying to drag an answer out of him."

"Hmph, of course you do." she sighed, "did you at least find out why he's acting like an asshole?"

"Yes."

Mitsuki glared at the Namekian, "are you going to tell me?" she questioned, doing her best not to explode on him.

"Nope. "

"Why not!?" she snapped.

"It's not my place." he said gruffly, 'besides, they're kids, it's best to let them figure things out on their own."

Mitsuki sighed, "I hope you're right…"

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVVWWVVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

Bakugo Katsuki had spent too long waiting for his friend to return.

She had told him that she would come back, and he had eagerly waited for her return. But a few weeks turned into a month, and a month turned into a year, after two years he finally was able to talk to her.

Over a phone.

He had gotten angry, with how she gushed about her 'training' and seemingly ignoring his question of when she would be back, so he had rushed the call and left his mom to talk with her.

After that it got harder to suffer through those phone calls, until in the last one he told her to just leave him alone; it felt like she'd never come back so why should he talk to her?

Then she showed up at his house, tried to carry on like she hadn't been gone over six years.

Well screw that, he wasn't going to just drop everything and pretend like it was alright for her sake!

"You're angry. I can feel it."

Bakugo looked up from where he lay on his bed, glaring at Piccolo, "what's it to you green bean?" He asked rudely.

Piccolo looked at the boy, then back to the door, "personally I don't care either way, but I can tell you from experience, carry on like you do and she'll be out of your life longer than eight years."

Bakugo tensed up, 'well why did the loser have to leave in the first place!?" he demanded to know, "why did she go off and leave me on my own!?"

"Because we told her to." Piccolo interrupted, "the fact of the matter was there were people after her, and she wasn't strong enough to protect herself, now she can probably take on the top ten in the draft and come out ready for more."

Bakugo looked away from Piccolo, "whatever, get out of my room!"

Piccolo turned and walked out, "think on what I said." he muttered as he walked out, leaving Bakugo to seeth.

The Next Morning.

Bakugo ran down the sidewalk, his arms pumping as he forced himself to go faster. Behind him, his friend Hashiga was barely keeping up.

"Slow down man! We're already six kilometers over our initial plan!"

"Shut up you loser!" Bakugo snapped, though he began to slow down, stopping on a pier overlooking a trash heap by the sea.

"What bit your ass?" Hashiga gasped out as he did his best not to fall over, "Master Tien pushes me to my limit, but that was crazy!"

"Shut up! I've got a lot on my mind." he muttered, looking away from the boy.

"When do you ever have anything on your mind other than training and school?" Hashiga taunted, grinning when Bakugo began to go into his usual tirade.

Kemuri Hashiga was the only friend of Bakugou Katsuki, truthfully he received this title fairly recently when it was made known that Hashiga was going to Tien for combat training to be a hero.

It led to the two boys forging a stronger bond and pushing each other to get to their dream schools, Bakugo wanted to go to UA, Hashiga to Shiketsu.

"So, what has you all wound up? Those punks in class still trying to start shit?"

"I can handle small fries like that." Bakugo drawled, "Nah, Deku came back to town."

"Deku? Wait you mean Midoriya?" Hashiga asked in surprise, "dude, you promised never to call her that-"

"-and she promised she'd be back sooner than eight years, promises get broken." Bakugo growled.

Hashiga shook his head in astonishment, "dude, come on. Shit was crazy back then, you can't-"

"I can and I will!" He snapped, "Now shut up and lets-"

"KAMEHAMEHA!"

Bakugo and Hashiga covered their eyes as a bright blue energy wave buffeted their hair and clothes with artificial wind.

"How was that Master Roshi!?"

"You're a natural kid! Just like your father."

Bakugo scowled as he realized it was Izumi and Roshi, could he not get away from any of them?

"Holy shit," Hashiga whispered, "Master Tien told me about that form, the Kamehameha wave, it's said to be the strongest attack of the Hermit Turtle style."

"It's a bunch of stupid nonesense," Bakugo barked, "useless!"

"Now that's something I'm gonna disagree with you on." Hashiga said as they began running once more, "Master Tien can do some impressive things."

"Whatever!" Bakugo grumbled, the two ran through downtown Mustafu, taking a shortcut through an alleyway.

"You gonna hang out at the house tonight?" Hashiga asked as they slowed down a bit, Hashiga pulling a cigarette as they ducked away from the eyes of any adults.

"Was planning on it." Bakugo grumbled, "would you stop smoking, you could get us both in trouble before we even get to the entrance exams."

"Lighten up a little Bakugo," Hashiga grinned, "sometimes you gotta relax and enjoy the moment-" he stopped speaking as his eyes unfocused.

"Hashiga?" Bakugo asked, catching the boy as he fell forward. He looked up and growled, "You losers.'

"Yeah, us." Nagai Tesaki said as he helped Isui Yorobi block the entrance of the alleyway, behind Bakugo, four more goons stepped out of the shadow, "Sorry Hashiga, but you get in the way too much."

"He...paralysed me...I can't...move…" Hashiga gritted out, "there's four more behind you Bakugo, get out of here."

"Are you kidding? These posers ain't gonna do shit." Bakugo growled, setting Hashiga down as he brought his fists up.

The next sensation he felt was his face meeting the ground as he was paralysed.

"What the hell…" Bakugo grunted out, looking back a bit as another student was made known.

She looked like a viper, with long fangs peeking out from under her lips and yellow reptilian eyes, she had no legs but a single tail that led into her school uniform.

"Bakugo, meet Viper." Yoroshi laughed as he transformed his arms into their lizard state, "She's a powerhouse from Saitama, my cousin."

"My name is Vicky jackass." she muttered, withdrawing her long nails from Bakugo's neck, crossing her arms, "it'll only last for thirty minutes, we're even brat."

"Thirty minutes is more than enough time." he sneered as they all converged on Bakugo's prone figure as she left. Punching and kicking the downed boy with reckless abandon.

"Bakugo...no…" Hashiga groaned out as Tesaki kicked him in the stomach and planted his foot on the boy's head.

"You two are too cocky for your own good.' he sneered, digging his foot into the boys head, "treating us like extras in some shitty play about your life? You can't treat people like that and expect them to just roll over and play subservient!"

"I'll...kill all of you…" Bakugo grunted. His face bloodied from a broken nose.

"I'd like to see you try!" Yoroshi laughed as he drove his fist into Bakugo's cheek, "pathetic!"

"HEY! LEAVE THEM ALONE!"

Hashiga watched with wide eyes as a girl in a purple gi came rocketing into the alleyway, driving a fist intoTesaki's chin as she slammed her shin into Yoroshi's stomach, sending them both flying back as she landed on her feet.

"He may be a jerk, but Kacchan is still my friend!" Izumi proclaimed, standing in a loose horse stance, "you attack him you attack me."

'And who the hell are you?" one of the underlings asked as they charged at her alongside his friends.

"I'm Izumi Midoriya!" she shouted as she ducked under a punch and delivered a powerful uppercut to the boys chin, sending him flying back as she swept the legs out of another and drove her elbow into his solar plexus, she then jumped up and hit the last two with a double roundhouse, driving them through a wall, then turned around and blasted Tesaki with a low powered Ki blast that shot him out of the alleyway, "Kacchan! Are you still okay!" Izumi cried worriedly as she quickly flew to Bakugo's side.

The boy was injured to say the least, covered in bruises and cuts from Yoroshi's attacks. His eyes were slowly swelling shut as Bakugo shook.

"I-Izumi…' Bakugo struggled out, "you...you…"

"Save your strength, you're pretty injured!"

"Mi...Midoriya? Izumi Midoriya?" Hashiga asked.

"Hmm? Yeah that's me." Izumi said, looking over to Hashiga.

"It's good to see you again." he said with a bloody smile, "don't know if you remember but I'm Hashiga!"

"Oh no way! Uncle Tien was talking about you! You're his number one disciple!"

"Hehe, I don't know about number one but-"

"-idiots." Bakugo growled out, making Izumi bow her head sheepishly.

"S-sorry! Lets get you two to a healer!"

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

"YOU IDIOT!"

BAM!

"OW YOU OLD HAG!"

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME YOU BRAT!?"

Izumi sweatdropped alongside Hashiga as they watched Mitsuki heal-and hurt- her son as they traded worded barbs.

"You're lucky whatever quirk this girl had wasn't a long lasting one." she grumbled, "as it is, it's like she injected poison into your body, so both of you will have to rest for the next couple of days."

"Thank you for helping." Hashiga said, giving her a stilted half bow.

"Any time, if you have any lingering aches by thursday come back for another session."

"Got it." he stood and staggered towards the door, nudging Izumi as he went by, "Thanks for saving my ass back there Midoriya, I owe you one."

"It was nice seeing you again Hashiga!" she called as he walked out, then she timidly teetered over to Bakugo's side, "are you okay Ka-Katsuki?" she asked, stuttering as she refrained from calling him his old nickname.

"I'm fine." he said gruffly.

"Do...you need anything?" she prodded.

"I'm fine."

"A-are you sure-'

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU I'M FINE DAMN IT!" he roared, making her cry as she jumped back, "I don't need anything so shut up ya dumb nerd!"

"O-okay!" she said quickly, "I...I'm sorry…" she stood and gave Mitsuki a sad smile, "I have to go meet up with piccolo for training, I'll see you later Aunt Mitsuki...Katsuki…"

"Don't work too hard!" Mitsuki called to her as she ran towards the door.

"Izumi."

The Saiyan paused at the door, looking back to her old friend, who was giving her an intense stare.

"...thanks for the help.' he muttered, looking away.

Izumi blinked, then gave him a huge smile, "anytime Kacchan!" she chirped happily before flying out the door.

"Maybe you're not so stupid after all brat." Mitsuki sighed, prodding her son in the stomach and making him cringe in pain.

"OW! THAT HURTS YA OLD HAG!"

"SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR FIGHTING!"

Bakugo grit his teeth as he looked away, "Hey Old-mom…"

Mitsuku's gaze softened as her son became uncharacteristically morose.

"I...i'm sorry, for how i've been acting lately." he muttered, "I was...I was figuring some stuff out."

She sighed, "to tell you the truth you're just like me, all hot anger and aggression; if you don't find a way to channel that, it's gonna be your downfall." she bopped his forehead softly, "apology accepted brat, love ya."

"Yeah, yeah, love you too ya old hag.' he muttered as she stood and walked towards the kitchen.

"And mom."

She stopped and looked back, "yes?"

"that...Ki control...you think you could train me?"

Mitsuki grinned, "I can show you the basics, but you'll probably catch on quick. Only so much I can teach you before you'll need a new coach."

"Show me what you can...I have to catch up to Izumi."

"Well then, training is in three days, hope you're ready."

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

Three weeks later.

Izumi looked up at UA, standing in front of it's gate with shining eyes.

"I made it...mom, dad, I made it…" she whispered to herself, slowly reaching up to mess with the armor that aunt Mitsuki had given her.

"Your mom used to wear this back when she was in UA, mostly during any kind of test or trial, you don't have to, but I think this would give you some good luck."

Izumi smiled fondly at the memory, it was a weird armor, able to stretch in unexpected ways while being stronger than it looked; it was black and yellow with hard straps that went over the shoulder. Underneath was a snug black body suit that ended half way down her thighs and biceps. On her hips were another pair of brown armor pieces. She was also wearing her red boots and her tail was wrapped around her waist. "It's not exactly the same...but it's like I have a piece of mom with me."

"You gonna stand there all day?"

Bakugos low growl made Izumi jump, "Kacchan! I-Im sorry, i was...thinking of something."

Bakugo walked up to Izumi, the two hadn't seen each other much in the past month, the awkwardness of their situation keeping both as far from each other as they could get. Izumi couldn't help but note the fresh bruises on Bakugo, results of his training with Aunt Mitsuki no doubt.

"Hmph, whatever." The explosive boy grumbled, walking past her, "you better get top five, I won't accept anything less of you."

"R-right." She sighed, watching him walk away, "don't worry Kacchan! I'll be the best out there!"

"Idiot." He sneered as he kept walking towards the building.

Izumi watched him walk away for a bit before following. Absentmindedly flying a few inches off the ground.

"Oh my god your quirk is just like mine!"

Izumi flinched as she turned around, looking at the bubbly brunette behind her, "um...technically this isn't a quirk...it's Ki control."

"I've heard of that!" she gasped, "it's supposed to be super difficult! And almost impossible if you don't have enough ki!"

"Luckily I had a lot." she giggled, landing, "I'm Izumi Midoriya," she said, leaning back when Uraraka began vibrating in excitement.

"You're mom was Psyche!" she gushed, "I loved her debut with Shenron!"

"She was the best." Izumi said wistfully.

"I'm Ochako Uraraka." the girl greeted, finally shaking her hand, "I like your outfit! Is it your moms?"

"Yeah! My auntie gave it to me today to bring me luck!" Izumi cheered, pumping her fist, "it's a lot different from what I usually wear, but it works!"

"It really does! Oh! We should really get going before we miss the orientation!"

"You're right, can we talk more after?"

"Of course!"

The two girls quickly entered the room, Izumi waved good-bye to her new friend as she floated up to where Bakugo was waiting.

"EXCUSE ME!"

"WAH!" Izumi cried as she stumbled out of the air, crashing onto the walkway behind bakugo, "Ow…" she whimpered as she sat up and glared at the boy who had yelled at her, "you jerk! You made me lose control!"

"You shouldn't be using your quirk to begin with!"

"Jokes on you! It's not a quirk, so nyeh!" she exclaimed, sticking her tongue out at him.

"How childish of you! Are you really here to become a hero!"

"Of course I am! Why else would I be at the Hero Course Entrance Exam?"

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Bakugo roared, exploding out of his seat, "OR ELSE I'LL BLAST BOTH OF YOU TO KINGDOM COME!"

"How uncouth of you!"

"You leave Kacchan alone, jerk!"

'DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"But you didn't get mad about it outside?"

"Is this how you think heroes in training should conduct themselves!?"

"FUCK OFF!"

"YEAH!"

"EVERYONE QUIET!"

The entire room stilled as the students-having been focused on the three way screaming match-looked to the podium, where an amused Present Mic stood, arms crossed.

"We got a whole entrance exam to get through, so why don't we chill out, ya dig kids?"

Izumi slowly sat down beside Bakugo, eyes shining, "It's present mic!" she whispered excitedly to him.

"So?" he asked rudely, making her deflate a bit before her enthusiasm returned.

"ALRIGHT YOU COOL CATS AND KITTENS! WELCOME TO UA! LET ME HERE YA SAY YEAH!"

"YEAH!" Izumi cheered while Bakugo glared at her.

"WELL LOOKS LIKE ONE OF YOU ARE HERE TO PLAY! LET ME HERE YA SAY WHOA!

"WHOA!" Izumi cheered alongside a few others.

"ALRIGHT! I AM DIGGING THIS ATMOSPHERE! NOW, THE WRITTEN EXAM IS STRAIGHT FORWARD, SO WE'LL BE GOING OVER THE PRACTICAL! YOU COOL DUDES WILL BE DUKING IT OUT IN SIMULATED CITIES AGAINST ROBO-VILLAINS! THERE'S THREE KIND, EACH HAVING A DIFFERENT POINT VALUE! THE NAME OF THE GAME IS COLLECTING AS MANY POINTS AS YOU CAN! OF COURSE ATTACKING OTHER APPLICANTS IS A NO GO-"

"EXCUSE ME!"

Izumi and Bakugo looked down at the guy they had been arguing with before, "this guy for real?" bakugo scoffed, Izumi nodding in agreement with him.

"ON THE HANDOUT, YOU SHOW FOUR VILLAINS, YET YOU'RE ONLY TELLING US ABOUT THREE OF THEM, IF THIS IS A MISTAKE ON BEHALF OF UA, THEN IT IS A DISGRACE!"

"Your face is a disgrace." Izumi muttered loudly, making Bakugo snicker as the boy whirled around and fixed them with a glare, Izumi pulling off a look of pure innocence while Bakugo gave the boy a challenging smirk.

"ALRIGHT EXAMINEE NUMBER 1117! GOOD QUESTION! THE FOURTH VILLAIN IS WORTH ZERO POINTS, IT'S POINTLESS TO GO AFTER AND THERE'S ONE IN EVERY CENTER! BEST TO JUST IGNORE IT."

"THANK YOU FOR THE EXPLANATION SIR!"

"Guys got a stick up his ass." Bakugo muttered as Izumi followed Present Mic's lead and gave a spirited Plus Ultra at his prompting, "what's with you and being so starstruck with Present Mic? We have actual heroes in our family."

"I don't care!" she declared as they began walking down the steps, "when I was out in the middle of nowhere training with piccolo, Present Mic's radio show was the highlight of my day! He kept my spirits up while I was out there."

Bakugo didn't say anything as they walked, as they reached the bottom of the stairs Bakugo broke off from Izumi and made his way towards Present Mic, "K-Kacchan what are you doing!?" she whispered as he walked up to the radio hero, the two talked for a bit before Present Mic gave him a big thumbs up.

"What did you do?" she asked him as Bakugo walked back.

"Here," he grumbled, shoving a piece of paper into Izumi's hand, "don't say I never did anything for ya."

Izumi stared in surprise at the piece of paper, Present Mic's outrageous signature emblazoned upon it.

Everyone nearby covered their ears as Izumi gave a high pitched squeal before rocketing into Bakugo, hugging him tightly.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" she gushed, "this is the greatest present ever!"

"Get off me ya damn nerd!" Bakugo barked, making Izumi jump away from him.

"Sorry!" she squeaked out as Bakugo shoved his hands angrily into his pockets.

"Don't read too far into this, I only did it because I owed you a birthday present, so shut up!" he griped.

"Whatever you say Kacchan!"

"AND STOP CALLING ME THAT!"

WVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVWVW

Izumi stared at the huge doors in front of her, stretching out her muscles as other applicants milled about around her, "alright, fifty percent power should do it." she muttered, "maybe I should rack up about a hundred and then back off…"

"Izumi!" Uraraka called, making the saiyan turn around quickly, her face lighting up at seeing Uraraka.

"Ochako!" she greeted happily as the girl ran up, 'How'd you do on the written portion?"

"I think I did good, it was really hard! What about you?"

"I'm confident, ready for the practical?"

"Of course! I've trained hard and-'

"Excuse me!"

Izumi sighed and turned around to glare at the approaching boy, "what?" she questioned, setting her fists on her hips as Ochako peeked around her.

"You two are being very distracting! Can't you tell everyone around us are preparing for the exam ahead!"

"We're not being loud," Ochako said.

"And we're talking about the exam." Izumi added, crossing her arms, "you're not the boss of us dude."

The boy in front of them took a deep breath, "I am only trying to impart the seriousness of this practical! You can't treat it so flippantly!"

"You're way too serious!" Ochako exclaimed.

"I agree! Come on! You should be able to have fun with this!" Izumi said, throwing a few punches to iterate her point, 'Oh! How about the person who has the least amount of points has to buy everyone Mochi!"

"I'm in!" Ochako cheered.

"But this isn't how you-" he stopped as the two girls pouted at him, eyes wide and shining, "I...okay fine!"

The two girls cheered, "by the way! I'm Izumi Midoriya!"

"And I'm Ochako Uraraka!"

"I am Tenya Iida, it's good to make your acquaintance." he said pompously, bowing to both.

"You're way too tense, but I like you!" Izumi said with a grin, giving Iida's shoulder a friendly punch, then wincing when the boy was knocked over by the hit, "Sorry!"

"GO!"

The three new friends jumped as Present mic shouted.

"THERE'S NO COUNT DOWN IN REAL LIFE! GET AFTER IT!"

Everyone surged forward as Izumi took to the sky, flying fast to the other side of the fake city and diving towards a nearby street, she brought her hands back, charging two ki balls in them, "Scatter shot!" she shouted, sending several ki blasts flying, destroying all of the bots in front of her before she was shooting off down the street, destroying another four with punches and kicks, "I'm gonna win this!"

"Well, we certainly have quite a few eager applicants this year." Midnight said, watching as Izumi flew around the city, easily destroying bots left and right.

"She's as wily as her mother was back in the day," snipes noted, "with her fathers power as well."

"Yes she is definitely one of the ones to watch this year.' Nezu said happily as the video changed to Bakugo destroying robots, using his limited ki abilities to fly faster down the streets, "and of course Young Bakugo is likewise showing his power."

"His mother almost didn't make it as a hero," Vlad King grunted, crossing his arms, "she was abrasive, loud, and treated everyone save the Midoriya's like shit."

"But she was also ranked within the top twenty during her time as a hero." Midnight quipped, giving Vlad a cheshire grin, "there's also rumors that she's coming back to the Hero scene."

"God help us all." All-Might shivered in the corner, the muscular man watching Izumi with an interested gleam, "all of these young aspiring heroes are amazing, truly I cannot wait to see where their potential takes them!"

"I think it's time for the Gimmick," Nezu said, hitting a large red button with a '0' on it.

"I think i'm at a hundred…" Izumi said hesitantly as she floated in the sky, looking around the city, "and there's not many bots left...Maybe I should just float up here..but what if Iida and Uraraka get more than one hundred!? Then I'd have to pay for Mochi! I don't have money!" she whined, slowly floating down, "Maybe I can find a few more before-"

BOOM!

Izumi covered her eyes as one of the larger buildings suddenly collapsed due to the giant robot that was pushing through it.

"T-that's a gimmick?" she asked in shock, staying in the sky as everyone ran from the gigantic robot.

"HELP!"

Izumi looked down, eyes widening as she saw Ochako pinned by rubble.

"Ochako!" Izumi cried, instantly zooming down to her side, ripping rocks off of her and helping her up.

"My leg." she whimpered, "I think it's broken."

"It's okay, I got you." Izumi said, picking her up and flying away as the Zero-Pointer broke through another building. "Iida!" Izumi called, landing beside the surprised looking engine user, "can you watch Ochako? There's a tin can I need to smash."

"But it won't give you any points-" Iida spluttered as he supported Ochako.

"It hurt my friend so I'm gonna smash it!" Izumi growled as she took off into the sky, hands coming together, "see how you like this! KAMEHAMEHA!" she shouted, unleashing the blast as she thrust her hands forward, illuminating the area in a bright blue glow as the attack obliterated the top half of the Zero-pointer."

"Such power!" Iida gasped in shock as Uraraka stared with stars in her eyes.

"It's like they're back…" she whispered, a tear trailing down her cheek as the glow died and Izumi slowly floated down, the other test takers giving her space as she walked over to Iida and Uraraka.

"Are you alright?" Izumi asked her worriedly.

"I'll be fine." Ochako reassured the girl as the test came to an end, "that was amazing! It must've taken up a lot of strength!"

"Yeah it did, but that was nowhere near as powerful as Master Roshi could get his." Izumi sighed, "so! How many bots did you two crush?"

"Hold that thought Dearie."

The three friends looked to the side, where a short, old woman was hobbling towards them, "let me get a look at that foot before you go talking about whatever challenge you kids gave yourselves."

"Oh! Of course!" Izumi said, moving away so Recovery Girl could look over Uraraka, giving her a kiss for her broken leg and a handful of gummies.

"Now,' Izumi said, looking at her two new friends.

"Well, with the thought of competition on my mind, I was able to rack up fifty two points." Iida proclaimed, puffing his chest out importantly as Uraraka gasped.

"No way! I beat you!" she cheered, making Iida look at her in surprise.

"Excuse me? You got more than fifty points?"

"Yeah! I really wanted to win, but my limit for my quirk is super low, so I followed this invisible girls lead for some of the robots! Turns out there's an off switch...but I got fifty six points!" Ochako turned to Izumi, "how many points did you get?"

"uh...I kinda lost count." she said sheepishly, "I know for sure I destroyed about forty three of the robots…"

Iida seemed to deflate as Ochako cheered, "if even half of those were two or three pointers…" he let his head hang as Ochako and Izumi hugged each other in victory.

"Mochi! Mochi! Mochi!" they cheered as they walked out of the testing area beside the disgruntled Iida.

"Ah, kids these days." Recovery Girl sighed, "always so full of energy."

Bakugo stared in confusion as he watched Izumi walk away from UA with the annoying four eyes from the orientation and some round cheeked girl, "Oi Izumi." he called rudely, walking up to them, "Four-eyes bothering you again? I'll kill ya.'

"No it's alright Bakugo!" Izumi reassured him quickly, moving forward, "we made up, he's actually not that bad once you get to know him."

"I must apologize to you as well," Iida said to Bakugo, bowing respectfully, "It was unprofessional of me to call you two out as I did."

Bakugo stared at him for a while, "whatever," he scoffed, looking at Izumi, "I'm gonna go meet up with Hashiga, see how his test went."

"Okay! We're gonna go get Mochi!"

"Iida lost a bet.' Ochako snickered as Iida once again deflated, a cloud of misery surrounding him as Bakugo stared at them all.

"...nerds." he said, walking away from them.

"Bye Kacchan!" Izumi said, waving goodbye to the irritated teen.

"He's not the most friendly of people, is he?" Iida asked.

"Nah, he's alright." Izumi beamed, "Now let's go get that Mochi!"
