"Shouldn't we stop the fight?"
Mic' worried question was Immediately shot down by Mitsuki and, surprisingly, Aizawa.
"You interfere now then Katsuki loses." Mitsuki snarled, "don't count the little brat out yet."
"Neither have seriously harmed the other yet," Aizawa sighed, looking up at the two students in the air, "until Krillin calls it, we can't do anything."
Bakugo Let out a cry of pain as he was sent plummeting down to the ground by a hard punch from Trunks, who followed his battered body and landed just before he hit the ground, a hard kick sending Bakugo through several buildings, trunks leveled his hands, Ki collecting in the palm,
"Be honored, it's been awhile since someone made me go super saiyan." Trunks sneered, "DOUBLE BUSTER!"
Those in the stands were forced to cover their eyes as the blast decimated any building in front of him, when the glow of the inferno died and the smoke cleared all that was left was a scar through the city starting from its center and continuing to the east.
They didn't have to worry about Bakugo for long, for the young Hero in training came exploding out of the largest pile of rubble, covered in scrapes and bruises and snarling ferally, "Scattershot:, carpet bomb!" Bakugo roared unleashing rapid fire blasts at Trunks, tinged red from infusing his Ki with his quirk; Creating powerful blasts that whistled as they flew through the air, exploding on impact and tearing apart the buildings, Trunks stayed just outside of their range, flying backwards as Bakugo chased after him.
Suddenly Trunks disappeared and reappeared just under Bakugo. Driving his fist into the boy's stomach and sending him flying high, Trunks hot on his tail.
"FUCK OFF!" Bakugo spat out as he fired more blasts at Trunks, switching directions at the last moment to try and catch him unawares, but Trunks simply snatched him out of the sky, casually dodging each attack before slamming his fist into Bakugo's stomach, driving the breath out of his lungs, after this there wasn't much Bakugo could do to protect himself from the onslaught of powerful hits that had him bouncing through the city like he was Trunks's own personal ragdoll.
"All that talk you spouted about being the best, and you can't even last ten minutes against me? Pathetic!" The super saiyan sneered as he dropped a hard elbow and sent Bakugo crashing through the blackened streets once more, landing a few yards away from him, "This fight is over."
Bakugo groaned as he slowly pushed himself up, spitting blood out of his mouth, "You think i'm done?" he snarled, clutching his right arm, blood dripping down his face, "do you think I'm gonna keel over cause you dyed your hair!? I TOLD YOU NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Bakugo roared, his power spiking once more as he charged.

"Holy shit, this is intense!"
Kirishima nodded along with Ojiro's exclamation, watching as his friend tried to go toe to toe with Trunks Briefs but came up lacking, "at this rate Bakugo's gonna get knocked out before he can get that last hit in."
"It's amazing he got those first two hits to begin with," Hagakure exploded, "the energy coming off these two is amazing!"
"Trunks turned the tables on him," Yaoyorozu said worriedly, "will he be able to recover?"
"If there's one thing Bakugo is, it's stubborn," Kaminari mumbled, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees as he watched the fight with rapt attention, "but if he doesn't do something soon-"
*CRACK!*
Everyone looked down in surprise at Izumi, who had just crushed the concrete separator in front of her with her bare hands, glaring furiously at Trunks while Goten stood beside her, making sure she wouldn't interfere.
"Uh…maybe take a breath?" Hashiga muttered to Izumi, who nodded slightly, but didn't move, instead watching the fight as closely as she could.

Bakugo couldn't tell you how many times he'd been slapped down so far, how many times he'd been thrown through buildings or buried in the street, after that powerful attack that leveled half the city he had been going forward with only a singular thought.
To get that last hit.
But he'd be lying if he said he thought he could actually do it, Trunks was too fast, too strong.
Too powerful.
Another punch sent him skittering across the blacktop, leaving him lying on his back and staring at the cloud covered sky; his uniform shirt was gone by now, shredded and burnt by the many ki attacks and sheer punishment that he'd taken in this fight, his hands and forearms ached and he was pretty sure he had some broken ribs.
"Are you finally done?"
Bakugo growled as he forced his feet, his weight barely supported, "I didn't hear no bell." He snarled, spitting a glob of blood out, "gotta admit, you're strong."
"Finally admitting defeat?" Trunks taunted.
"You fucking wish! I'm just sad that I'm about to end this whole thing with one move!" He held his hand over his head, Ki sprouting to life within his palm, "ka-me!"
"Really?" Trunks scoffed, before falling into a similar stance, "fine, let's go there! HAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
"HA-ME!" A blue sphere of energy collected in his hand, bathing the arena in blue, only offset by the intense amethyst light radiating off of Trunks.
"KRILLIN! END THE FIGHT!" Present Mic shouted, his nerves finally failing him as he saw the two powerful attacks near completion.
"Damn it, I think you're right!" Krillin swore as he took off down towards the two teens.
But he'd be too late.
"LET'S SEE WHO'S STRONGER BAKUGO! GALICK GUN!" Trunks roared, thrusting his hands forward and discharging a violet beam of energy.
"HA!" Bakugo screamed as his own attack rocketed forward, the two beams met in mid air, creating a Shockwave that bowled over everyone save the Z-Fighters, Izumi, and oddly enough Ojiro; who was shielding his friends with his tail while shielding his eyes to continue watching.
Bakugo shook with the effort of trying to force Trunks' attack into a stalemate, the pressure of 100x gravity paled in comparison to trying to take Trunks head on.
"You've done yourself proud!" Trunks called from where he was, not even struggling in their deadlock, "but it's time I finished this, HA!"
Suddenly Bakugo found his Kamehameha being overwhelmed as the amethyst beam enveloped it and slammed into Bakugo who didn't even let out a scream as the beam grew then exploded, leveling yet another swath of buildings.
"BAKUGO!' Izumi screamed, going to jump into the arena, only to be stopped once again by Goten, "move." She commanded.
"It's not over yet." Gohan said grimly, unmoving.
Down in the Arena, Trunks walked towards the crater where Bakugo once stood, Powering down as he reached its edge.
Lying on his back in the crater was Bakugo, his eyes barely open, his breathing raspy and wet, blood slowly trailing out of the corner of his mouth.
"Hmph." Trunks huffed, sliding down the crater side, "you were outmatched since you made the stupid bet." Trunks said as he knelt down by the boy's side, checking his pulse, "got a little carried away, you'd have been a hell of a hero if you hadn't lost."
Bakugo's eyes suddenly shot open, with a roar of defiance he was lunging forward, his blood covered fist smashing into Trunks' mouth and sending him crashing into the side of the crater.
"Who…said…I lost…you mother, FUCKER!" Bakugo snarled as he unleashed three weak ki-blasts, then fell forward in a dead faint.
Trunks slowly pushed himself out of his own crater, spitting some blood out and massaging his jaw as he stared in surprise at Bakugo.
"he…he did it…" present Mic whispered, slowly falling back in his chair.
"He..he won." Kirishima said as everyone else slowly began to come out of the shock they were all in, "HE WON! THAT'S SO FREAKIN MANLY!"
the stands erupted into cheers as they all finally realized just what happened.
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" Present Mic screamed into the mic, "BAKUGO KATSUKI STEALS VICTORY FROM TRUNKS! WITH AN EXTRA THREE HITS TO COUNT!"
"And you doubted him!" Mitsuki laughed.
"Sloppy, we'll be working on that in class." Aizawa droned.
"Oh quite being a sourpuss!" Mitsuki groaned, throwing an arm around Aizawa, "I know you're happy he made it!"
"Get off me."
Izumi dodged around Goten and flew to Bakugos side, "he's barely breathing." She whispered, frantically scooping him up and taking off towards the training grounds access tunnel.
Krillin landed down beside Trunks, "gotta admit, he got you." Krilkin said with a friendly grin.
"Yeah…" Trunks muttered, smirking a bit, "thought he was down for the count, he has amazing control over Ki, even if he just started training in it."
"He's a damned prodigy," Mitsuki said as she landed with Piccolo right behind her. "Gets kind of annoying sometimes."
"You sound like my mom," Trunks scoffed, "but yeah, he's a prodigy." He looked towards the tunnel, his hand coming up to unconsciously rub his jaw again.

Kirishima, Uraraka, Ojiro, Hashiga, Vicki and Hagakure all burst into the infirmary, staring In shock at a still unconscious Bakugo covered in gauze, at his bedside was Izumi, who didn't take her eyes off Bakugo.
"Oh, hey guys." Izumi said as they trooped in, still not looking up.
"How is he?" Uraraka asked, stepping forward.
"Broken ribs, contusions and gashes covering the majority of his body, all the ligaments, tendons and muscles in both arms are strained, and he's still unconscious, so I can't heal him." Recovery girl said, walking over, "once he wakes up it should all be a simple fix, still that Trunks boy really went too far."
"He's an asshole." Izumi grumbled.
"Still it was super manly how Bakugo went toe to toe with him!" Kirishima exclaimed, clenching his fists in excitement, "it makes me want to go even further beyond!"
It was also terrifying seeing how outclassed Nakugo was once Trunks powered up." Ojiro muttered.
"Yeah what was that!?" Hagakure asked
"It's called Super Saiyan."
The four teens turned around to state at Goten, who gave them a friendly smile, "my father, Goku, he was the first to discover it, a power multiplier that Saiyans can reach with enough training and dedication. It used to require an enormous amount of rage, but with each generation that requirement drops."
"How large is the multiplier?" Kirishima asked, thinking of Kaio-ken's two times multiplier.
"Best we can tell, 50."
The entire room went quiet, all four in shock at the potential strength.
"That's why I'm so angry."
They looked back to Izumi, who was glaring at her bedridden friend, her fists clenched, "he shouldn't have used it, none of us are ready to go up against that, I haven't even reached a super saiyan form."
"You're second generation, it some serious training to get there." Goten reassured her, "you're almost there with all the training you did in the gravity chamber."
"And you're all more ready then you realize."
Izumi finally looked up, glaring at Trunks as the boy walked in, "you went too far." She accused.
"I went far enough." Trunks shot back, "I don't do things by halves Izumi, you know that." he huffed, "anyways, if Bakugo's any indication, you're all worth watching." he looked over all of them, "Hashiga right?" Trunks asked, looking at the Shiketsu first year, "and VIctoria?"
"Y-yes sir!" The two sounded off, straightening up a bit.
"Good to see some of you know how to not take things too seriously." he scoffed, "you two go get Inasa and head back over to the others, we'll be leaving soon."
"Uh-yes sir!" they exclaimed again before rushing out.
Trunks looked back to the UA students, "goten's been talking about a bunch of UA brats training with the old Z-Fighters." he said, looking them all over, 'come the sports festival I better see each and every one of you reach the tournament phase, I want to see what you all can do." he looked at Bakugo, "when he wakes up tell him he's got a day to rest, after that he's training with me before and after school until the Sports Festival.'' With that, Trunks walked out.
"Asshole." Izumi grumbled.
"Heh, that's Trunks for ya!" Goten chuckled, patting Izumi's shoulder reassuringly, "but he's right, you're all really strong! I've never seen Trunks so excited about something!"
"That was excitement?" Hagakure asked in shock.
"Yep! Hehehe, he's like his dad!"
"Wait…he said you told him about our training, have you been spying on us!?" Uraraka asked, making Ojiro and Kirishima look at him sharply.
"Ehehe…well would you look at the time! Gotta go!" Goten exclaimed, putting two fingers to his forehead and disappearing in a wink.
"Did he just freakin' teleport!?" Kirishima exclaimed.
"Instant transmission." Izumi sighed, standing up, "Guess we'll really have to put our noses to the grindstone right?" she asked them, trying to summon up her usual cheerfulness.
"Hell yeah!" Kirishima exclaimed, not realizing her mood was fake, "I got a technique in the works right now, so you guys better watch out!"
"You too?" Ojiro asked, smirking when everyone stared at him in surprise, "I've been training with Yamcha, he's got a couple of tricks he's been teaching me."
"Tien's given me so many ideas!" Hagakure gushed, "you guys are gonna be so surprised when I leave you in the dust!"
"I wish I had a master," Uraraka sighed, "I've only been able to do the training that Izumi showed me."
"Why don't you ask Krillin?" Izumi suggested, her mood lifting with her friend's excitement, "I bet he'd be thrilled to train you!"
"There's an idea! I'm so freakin' pumped!"
Izumi smiled as they all devolved into excited chatter, ready and looking forward to the challenge ahead."

One Day Later.
Bakugo limped into Capsule Corps, gauze still wrapped around his arms and around his head, making his hair stick up at odd angles, he slowly walked up the stairs to Trunks' training room, where the boy was waiting, sitting in a lotus position.
"Surprised you're here today." he said, looking over Bakugo, "You still got a day to heal."
"I don't need it." Bakugo said gruffly.
Trunks chuckled softly, "sit down, I have some questions.'
Bakugo scowled, but gingerly sat down cross legged across from the older teen.
"Tell me why you want to learn from me."
"Because I need to get stronger." Bakugo said immediately.
"Why?" trunks pressed, "just to get strong?"
"In part."
"What's the other part?"
"Does it fucking matter!?" Bakugo snapped.
Trunks' gaze seemed to burn into him for a few moments, until he suddenly smirked, "so, it's about Izumi."
Bakugo tensed, "so what if it's about that nerd." he grumbled.
Trunks frowned, "she really looks up to you, you know."
"I know…I don't deserve it."
"...something we can agree on." Trunks said carefully, looking around, "I'm not training you today, Izumi would kill me if she found out I did, go to mom, she'll make you some food and then she can take you home."
"I'm not some charity case." Bakugo griped.
"Hmph, I know that, just do it, or I'll knock you out and call Izumi so she can make sure you do it."
Bakugo grumbled under his breath but stood and left without another complaint.
Trunks sighed, looking up, "is this how it is dealing with my dad? Eh Goku?" he asked softly, then chuckled, 'nah, dad wouldn't have caved because we threatened him with mom…what am I getting myself into, hehe.'
