Max always enjoyed going to Spoonerville Beach to either relax on the beach or ride the waves on his surfboard, especially after a stressful week whether it was from school studies, basketball, talent shows or work at the Spoonerville Sports Store. He always had a great time every time he went to the beach, but he never thought there was a better day than today. It was a very warm summer's day and the waves on the sea were as high as mountains. So, wearing his light green swimsuits and using his dark red surfboard, he rode the gigantic waves. The higher the waves were and the more challenging they were, the more awesome it was for Max and the more he could push himself. Whereas if the waves were calmer, the more bored he got. As he surfed on them, not only did he enjoy doing it, but he felt that he was gaining the confidence to enter the Spoonerville Beach Surfing Competition next year and to start practicing for it.
Max was so glad that he arrived at Spoonerville Beach as early as he did so he could make the most on the waves and he could put his beach blanket on the beach before it got busier with more customers as the day went on and there were no spaces left because the beach was always very popular, especially during the summer. Max came to the beach on his own today because Goofy was at work and PJ had to do a job with his dad Pete at his house and Bobby had to do some other business with his family as well.
"Max!"
Max turned to see who was calling him. He was very surprised and delighted to see who it was. "Lisa!" He couldn't believe that it was his amazing girlfriend, who was wearing an orange bikini and was on a light brown surfboard.
"Hey, Max," Lisa greeted, as she paddled to her boyfriend.
"Hey, Lisa," Max greeted. "I didn't know you could surf."
"Well, that's because you've never seen me do it," Lisa said. "But I have been watching you. You were amazing."
"Thanks. How long have you been here?"
"Only about half an hour ago."
"Hey, look," Max said. "The next giant wave is coming. Shall we show it who's the king and the queen of the sea, Lisa?"
Lisa smile. "Yeah! Let's do it, Max."
So Max and Lisa paddled into position and waited for the wave to approach them and rise.
"You ready?" he asked her.
"You betcha," she replied.
Then the wave started to rise as high as the mountains. Then once it reached them, Max and Lisa stood up on their surfboards and rode the waves.
As they surfed, Max never forgot that Lisa told him that she could surf and he never doubted her, but when he saw her actually do it with his own eyes, he was very impressed. He even thought she was as good as he was and thought maybe she could enter next year's Spoonerville Beach Surfing Competition.
After more surfing fun, Max and Lisa were starting to get very tired and they surfed back to the beach. Lisa told Max that she rented one of the beach's wooden cabanas for the day, so after he collected his stuff, he followed her to her cabana. It was the biggest and most beautiful one out of all the cabanas on Spoonerville and it had two wooden deckchairs and a wooden table between them with Lisa's picnic basket on it. Max was very impressed when he saw all the delicious food and drinks that she had brought with her, including cheese sandwiches, apples, grapes, potato chips, her homemade salads, her homemade chocolate cake and her homemade lemonade.
"This picnic is wonderful, Lisa," Max said, as he ate one of the apples. "Like all your picnics are. Thank you very much for this."
"No problem, Max," Lisa said, eating one of her cheese sandwiches. "And thank you very much for being my picnic buddy for today."
"No problem. So when did you get back from your cruise?"
"Three days ago."
"And how was it?"
Lisa told him all about the cruise she and the family took from Spain to France with her family. She even showed him photos of her and her family on her vacation. After landing at Malaga Airport and spending a couple of days and nights in the city, they boarded the cruise and it sailed off to many incredible places, including Almeria, Cartagena, Alicante, Castellón de la Plana, Tarragona, Barcelona, Perpignan, Narbonne and before finishing Montpellier before they caught the plane back to Spoonerville.
As well as seeing all these wonderful locations, Lisa enjoyed the cruise they stayed on. She enjoyed her small but lovely cabin all to herself, she enjoyed eating all the delicious food and hitting the gym, the spa, the swimming pool, the hot tubs and watching awesome live shows in the theater.
Lisa's vacation was absolutely amazing and she enjoyed it a whole lot, but it wasn't perfect. It would have been perfect if her family didn't join her. Every time she was with them, there would always be drama. They would always fight and take it out of each other or out of Lisa, even when it wasn't her fault at all.
"So, anyway, when did you get back from Dallas?" Lisa asked.
"About a week ago," Max replied.
"And how was your vacation?"
Then Max told Lisa all about his vacation in Dallas and even showed her photos of him Goofy and the rest of their family. They stayed at a great motel and they had a lot of amazing adventures in Dallas, including at Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, the Reunion Tower, the Dallas World Aquarium, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Zoo and the AT Stadium where they went to see a real football game one night, many water parks including Epic Waters Waterpark and Bahama Beach and when they went on Lake Ray Hubbard after renting a speedboat. Max enjoyed spending this vacation with his family, but there was one family member he really enjoyed spending time with and that was his beautiful cousin, Debbie. She was also the one he was on the most photos with. Then he explained to Lisa how she was the very best cousin in the world, how she used to babysit him when he was a baby, though he wasn't appreciative of her at first but he learned to appreciate her later in life, especially the time she came over to Spoonerville for a visit and she helped Max and PJ deal with Duke and his Pharaohs gang at Burger Behemoth and how she still continued to help him whenever she could to the very best of her ability.
Then Max and Lisa had another hour left of the cabana before they had to leave it for someone else so they decided to make the most of it. By that, they meant by staying in it and did nothing except hug, kiss and laugh with each other. Neither of them cared if people outside the cabana could see them making out; they were just having so much fun with their very special fun.
