Here is chapter 3 of the story, enjoy.

-Pride Lands, Elephant Graveyard-

After the argument ended back in the gorge, Sora entered a valley filled of animal bones, alone, he was still angry at what Donald said to him, then Sora stopped for a moment as he turned his head to the left to see a lioness in trouble as she was running away from the Heartless.

Lioness: "(SNARLS)"

Sora: "(GASPS) I've got to save her!"

With that said, Sora went after the Heartless to rescue the lioness, then Sora got in front of the lioness and the Heartless.

Sora: "Stay back!"

(Savannah Pride from Kingdom Hearts II plays)

Sora summoned his Keyblade to fight the Heartless, he slashed his Keyblade at both of them, ending each of them a few amount of hits.

(Savannah Pride from Kingdom Hearts II ends)

Sora: "(PANTING) That was tough." looks at the lioness "Are you okay?"

Lioness: "Yes, thank you. You really saved me."

Sora: "Your welcome, and I'm just you're okay now." looks around "Did you see any other Heartless around here?"

Lioness: "Heartless... Is that what they're called?" tries to remember "I'm not sure if there are any others..."

Sora: "So... What's your name?"

Nala: "(GIGGLES) My apologies, my name is Nala, and you are?"

Sora: "I'm Sora, do you normally hunt out here Nala?"

Nala: "No, I don't usually hunt outside the Pride Lands."

Sora: "Pride Lands?" looks at the lioness in confusion "What's that?"

Nala: "The Pride Lands was once a peaceful land, where all animals lived in peace and harmony." her face dropped down in sadness "But now everything is just, dark and dead."

Then Sora began to feel sorry for Nala, after hearing about the happy, and sad parts about the Pride Lands.

Sora: "Hey Nala, do you if a guy named Riku is there? Or some bad guys in black hoods? Or maybe this really big bully named Pete?"

Nala: "I'm sorry Sora, I don't think I have."

Sora: "(SIGHS) Oh well, I might as well go take a look, anyway."

Nala: "Wait Sora~ the Pride Lands are dangerous."

Sora: "I thought you said the Pride Lands were peaceful."

Nala: "They were, until Scar and the hyenas have made things unbearable for everyone."

Sora: "Really, why's that?"

Nala: "Because there's no food left. They've driven off the prey. and we're about to starve."

Sora: "I can handle danger. You saw me beat those Heartless, didn't you?"

Nala: "I guess you're right..." gets an idea "You could be just what the kingdom needs. Maybe you can help us."

Sora: "You mean like take on Scar and his hyenas?"

Nala: "Yes, something like that."

Sora: "Well I've encountered those hyenas before."

Nala: "You have?"

Sora: "Yeah, I fought three of them."

Nala: "Those three hyenas are named Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed."

Sora: "Well, I did give 'Shenzi' three claw scars on her right eye, after I picked a fight with them, while standing up for my friends to protect them, and to show them that I was not afraid."

Nala: "(GIGGLES) That was very brave of you, foolish, but brave."

Sora: "And right before they left, they said something about meeting somebody named Scar, do you anything about Scar?"

Nala: "Yes, Scar was the king's brother." her head dropped down "He took over when our last king, Mufasa, died."

Sora: "I'm sorry to hear about Mufasa, he sounded a great king."

Nala: "Yes, he was."

Sora: "So you're saying this 'Scar' is your new king."

Nala: "(SIGHS SADLY) Yes."

Sora: "You want me to take down Scar?"

Nala: "Yes, you would be doing everyone in the Pride Lands a favor."

Sora: "Wait just a minute." walking around to get an idea "(THINKING) I can't just go around knocking kings off their thrones. Then again, if they see that I'm stronger than Scar, maybe they'll ask me to be their next king!" began to doubt "(THINKING) Normally I'd have to refuse, of course." began to see the good of the idea "(THINKING) Then again, the Pride Lands still needs a king, or better yet, a hero." walks back to Nala "Nala, I will be honored to be the Pride Lands new king!"

Nala: "(GASPS IN JOY) Really? You do that for everyone?"

Sora: "Yeah, after all, I did save you from the Heartless, so I can save the Pride Lands from Scar."

Nala: "(SQUEALS) That's fantastic, I'll go tell the other lionesses, follow me to Pride Rock Sora!"

With that said, Nala took Sora to Pride Rock, for Sora to become the Pride Lands new king.

While Nala and Sora walked through the Elephant Graveyard, Nala noticed Sora was looking so sad.

Nala: "What's wrong Sora?"

Sora: "(SIGHS) It's just, I said some mean things to my friends during our fight in gorge, and I really feel bad about it."

Nala: "It's okay Sora, I'm sure you'll forgive them, and I'm also sure they'll forgive you too."

Sora: "Let's see if your right Nala."

With all that said, Nala and Sora continued their journey to the Pride Lands as they found their way out of the Elephant Graveyard to the Savanna, which is now filled with dead trees, and dead grass.

Sora knew he had to defeat Scar, and become the king to save the Pride Lands for everyone, and for them to return home.

Pride Lands, Pride Rock

Scar: "Any moment now, Sarabi."

Scar: "Believe me I know, I've sunk pretty low, but whatever I've done, you deserved."

Sarabi: "Scar!"

Scar: "Quiet!"

Scar: "I'm the bad guy, that's fine, it's no fault of mine and some order at last will be served."

Sarabi: "Please, listen!"

Scar: "Now it's time to step up or it's time to back down and there's only one answer for me! And I'll stand up and fight! Cause I know that I'm right! And I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready! Ready as I'll ever be!"

Pride Lands, Wildebeest Valley

A huge pride of male lions were thinking about who should be the king and who should take on Scar, then a lioness from Pride Rock came to them for help and lead them to fight the hyenas.

Lioness: "Now it's time rise up or it's stand down and the answer is easy to see! And I swear by the roar, if you're in, get on board! Are you ready?"

First Lion: "I'm ready!"

Second Lion and Third Lion: "We're ready!"

All Lions: "We're ready!"

Lioness: "Ready as I'll ever be!"

Pride Lands, Savanna

Nala and Sora entered the dead savanna while walking to Pride Rock, and Sora began to doubt about being the king again, while Nala gave him confidences to help him believe he can.

Sora: "Are you quite sure I can do this?"

Nala: "I'm sure you will guarantee!"

Pride Lands, Pride Rock

Scar (All Lions): "I'll make them hear me! (Now it's time to redeem or it's time to resolve.)"

Pride Lands, Wildebeest Valley

The lioness leaded the male lions to Pride Lands in a rush.

Lioness (All Lions): "Prove they can trust me! (And the outcome will hardly come free!)"

Pride Lands, Savanna

Nala and Sora have almost made it to Pride Rock, while Nala looked at Sora and saw courage, compassion, and light in his heart.

Nala: "You'll save my home and family!"

Pride Lands, Wildebeest Valley

As the lioness saw Pride Rock, she leaded the male lions to it in a rush.

All Lions: "Now the line's in the sand and our moment's at hand!"

First Lion: "And I'm ready!"

Lioness: "I'm ready!"

Pride Lands, Savanna

Both Nala, and Sora made it to Pride Rock, so Sora can become the Pride Lands new king.

Sora and Nala: "I'm ready!"

Pride Lands, Pride Rock

Scar: "Ready as I'll ever be!"

-Pride Lands, Kalahari Desert-

Donald flew and Goofy walked tiredly through the Kalahari Desert, Goofy began to look back and felt bad about Sora, and Donald and Goofy have now became lost in the middle of the desert.

Goofy: "Gawrsh Donald, I hope we can find some water in this desert."

Donald: "Where are we going to find water from in the middle of this desert?"

Goofy: "I don't know Donald, but I feel like we should back for Sora."

Donald: "I wouldn't admit this, but I do feel kind of bad for what I said to him."

Goofy: "Don't worry Donald, I'm sure Sora will forgive you and I'm sure you'll forgive him too."

Donald: "I hope so."

With that said, Donald and Goofy continued their way through the Kalahari Desert, until they spotted a oasis.

Goofy: "Donald, look! An oasis!"

Donald: "Come on Goofy, there might be water in that oasis."

After all the flying and walking, Donald and Goofy made it to the oasis, and while they were there, they ran into someone familiar.

Who is the familiar person that Donald and Goofy meet? And will Sora become the new king for the Pride Lands? Find out on chapter 4.
