For the first time in nearly a decade, all those applicants to the Academy passed graduation this time around. Accordingly, there are 32 students entering the system this year across eight teams. Whilst some amongst their number are scions of important families from both Solitas and Mistral, Professors are reminded to show no favor or disfavor with regards to students.

I also wish to remind you all that we will be hosting the Vytal Festival this year. I am aware that our confidence received a boost with our victory in the 72AW Tournament, but we cannot allow that to make us complacent and overconfident. Treat this as any other tournament.

And finally, as I have already informed you all, this will be my final year as Headmistress of Atlas Academy. It has been a pleasure to work with you all these past few years, and I hope I can depart on a high note.

-Absinthe Campbell (because I'm bloody tired of not using my legal name)

NOTE: As usual, I've attached a list of our new teams and their Acronyms, along with any preferred nicknames they might have, who their leaders are and a few notes on each team.

AALM = Team Almond
Amber Hamilton: Leader of Team Almond.
David Austin:
Flannery Lebeau:
Starting a year early.
Magenta "Maggie" Miller:
AALM utilized unorthodox delaying tactics during Initiation to great success. Whilst they were not the first team to complete Initiation, they avoided conflict with Grimm and only needed to engage in combat on two occasions. Early Recommendation is to utilize them as scouts.

PLUM = Team Plum
Seleucus Phonoi: Leader of Team Plum.
Lotus Djerba:
Urban Mann:
Jacinthe "Jack" Macanus:

PLUM is likely the team that will cause the most trouble. They were needlessly brutal during their initiation and very nearly caused the severe injury of the entirety of Team STAR after using them as bait for a hive of Lancers. They are to already be considered on their final warning. Early Recommendation is to have them work exclusively on killing Grimm.

RBBW = Team Rainbow
Roan Ramkin:
Leader of Team Rainbow.
Bruno Marley:
Ethan Bruce:
Judicael Wicken:

RBBW are perhaps the most unusual teams I have seen in a long time. All of their semblances are tailored to healing. Early recommendation is to have them in supporting roles.

RJMT = Team Regiment
Robyn Hill: Leader of Team Regiment.
Joanna Greenleaf:
May Marigold:
Fiona Thyme:

With the exception of Miss Marigold, all of Team RJMT hail from Mantle, and if the rumors are to be believed, Marigold herself is estranged from her family and lives in Mantle. Early Recommendation is that any mission they undertake is tied to Mantle, not Atlas proper.

SHNZ= Team Sphinx
Indigo "Indi" Sycamore: Leader of Team Sphinx.
Canaan Hux:
Caeso Nepos:
Airi Zhou:

SHNZ appears to be one of the two frontrunners with regards to who the top team of the year will be. Ironically, none of them hail from the Kingdom of Atlas. They are well-rounded in their skillset and appear to work well enough together. They were both the first to complete initiation and had the least exhaustion of aura. Early Recommendation is to use them in more longer term missions.

STAR = Team Star
Stella Rhodes: Leader of Team Star.
Tourmaline 'Mal' Mughal:
Arjuna Huang:
Roy Stephenson:
STAR, despite the issues caused by Team PLUM, performed admirably enough during initiation. They retreated to a more defensible position, and dealt with the Grimm there before moving forward. Early Recommendation is to have them work alongside the landscape observation team.

SSTO = Team Storm
Winter Schnee: Leader of Team Storm
Sirius Oracion:
Tortuga Darwin:
Starting a year late.
Orchid Mander:
SSTO, under the orders of their now leader Winter Schnee, fell back to assist Team STAR after their issues with Team PLUM. Whilst it is true that they were last to complete initiation as a result, they have shown themselves to be willing to uphold the core tenets of the Atlesian Specialists and Military. Early Recommendation is to have them work alongside the military.

VBER = Team Umber
Xanthe Vinn: Leader of Team Umber.
Tiare Bao:
Erina Fugger:
Jackal Rackam:

VBER are made up entirely of Faunus. In addition, they are all children of members of the Military Police. I advise keeping an eye on them for this reason, whilst I am sure we have little to worry about, the children of MPs are often as uncompromising as their parents and that could lead to issues down the line. Early Recommendation is to send them to Department Null.
