Another Chapter for all my lovely readers, after this I'm doing a Christmas Oneshot and a New Year Oneshot then I'll get to the next Chapter.

There are a few characters I've added as member of staff for Sirens, mostly borrowed from DC Comics though there are some Marvel characters in here too. Try and guess who they all are.

Anyway on with the story.

Chapter 34

Dance of the Sirens

As Ash and May were pulled into the club they passed the bouncer, an enormous man built out of brick like muscles, he wore an expensive suit and a luchador mask. As the pair followed noticed a tattoo on Harley's lower back, it was the face of a grinning jester with 'Mista J' written on the teeth. Harley stopped and turned to Ash and May when they had entered a foyer, she was about to speak when she noticed the looks on their faces.

"You saw the tattoo and want to know what it's about right?" She said. "Pammi told you that everyone here doesn't exactly have a spotless record, including us owners."

"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to." May replied quickly sensing it was a touchy subject.

"No, it's fine." Harley smiled and led them into the coat-check room. Harley turned to the woman who worked in the room. "Can you give us a minute Maggie?" The woman looked to be in her mid-thirties, wore a slim fitting black dress and had black hair that seems to arc out to the front from the top and sides of her head.

"No problem Boss." Maggie said as she left the room, closing the door behind her. Harley leant back against a cabinet and took a deep breath, the bubbly personality that Ash and May had first met faded away into a more serious and sadder one.

"I used to be the girlfriend of a very dangerous and psychotic gangster, I…I did a lot of bad things while I was with him," Harley rubbed her arms, "but thanks to Pammi and Kitty I'm free of him. When I'm not here I'm counselling victims of crime, before I got involved with Mista J I was a psychologist so now I'm using my degree to help people." Harley paused for a second as she studied the looks on Ash's and May's faces. "You're wondering how I got involved with him in the first place. I used to help out in an asylum and I was asked to do an evaluation on him." Harley let out a short hollow laugh. "To this day I can't figure out how he managed to manipulate me like that, but somehow he managed to convince me that I was in love with him and made me do a lot of horrible things." Harley blinked back a few tears and bowed her head, when she felt a slight weight on her shoulder she looked back up and saw May's hand there.

"You don't have to say anymore." May said softly, "We understand and I can tell you're a good person." Ash nodded in agreement and smiled at Harley. A tear rolled down the blonde's cheek as a smile spread across her lips. May took a tissue out of her bag and handed it to Harley. "How about you dry those tears and show us what this place is like." Harley nodded with a quick laugh as she wiped her eyes and stood up straight.

"Let's go see Pammi and Kitty." Harley led Ash and May out of the coat-check to a red door with VIP written on it in golden letters. The blonde took a key out of the pocket of her denim shorts and opened the door. "Pammi, Kitty, I've got the cuties from the Contest." Harley said as she opened to door and immediately started to bounce on the balls of her feet. "FALL!" Harley shot into the room and tackled someone into a couch, hugging them tightly. Ash and May looked at each other confused but shrugged and went into the VIP room.

Sitting looking at the door they saw Pamela, wearing a strapless emerald green knee length dress with a similar leaf styled design to the dress she wore for the Contest, sitting back in a wicker chair with one leg crossed over the other while a woman relaxing on a Chaise Longue was next to her. The woman on the Chaise Longue had pale skin, black hair cut in a pixie style and sparkling green eyes, she was wearing a pair of black leather pants and a Hello Skitty vest under an open lilac blouse. In the woman's lap was a curled up Glameow and surrounding the Chaise Longue were a number of other cat Pokémon.

"Ash, May, I trust that Harley has introduced herself already?" Pamela asked to which the couple nodded in reply. "In that case let me introduce the third owner of Sirens and Leaf's 'Aunt', Selina."

"Nice to meet you," May said walking forward to shake Selina's hand but stopped as a female Pyroar rose from behind the Chaise Longue and looked at her.

"Tabitha, she's a friend. So is the cute boy over there." Selina said with a slight purr in her silky voice. The normal and fire type, let out a small rumble of acknowledgement and lay down again. Selina swung her legs around and sat up on the Chaise Longue. "Come and sit here May." May slowly made her way through the cat Pokémon and sat down, giving Selina a smile. The dark haired woman smiled back and turned her attention to Ash, raising an eyebrow. "Now you look familiar, have we met before?" She asked him.

"In a way I used to live next door to Leaf in Pallet Town, I saw you visit her house a few times." Ash said slowly. May looked between Ash and Selina sensing something between them but couldn't figure out what. Pamela and Harley seemed to pick up on it too as they turned their attention to the pair.

"No, that's not it. Did we meet any other time?"

"Pamela, how long has Siren's been open?" Ash asked confusing everyone with the shift in topic

"Two and a half years near enough, why?" The Elite answered.

"I just wanted to see if I had my dates right." He looked back at Selina. "We met about three years ago, Pewter City museum." Selina's eyes widened slightly as she remembered.

"You were the G-Man with the Pikachu on the roof." A sly smile crossed her red lips. "Sorry about that kick, is everything alright 'down there'?" She asked with a giggle. Ash just glared at her in response. "Aww, don't be like that. It wasn't personal, just business. I gave the fossils back when Pamela caught up with me, given my reputation towards male G-Men they decided to try a different approach. It worked, everything here's legal and above board, you can run all the checks you want."

A hysterical laugh broke through the silence that followed once Selina had finished talking. Turning in the laughter's direction they saw that the person Harley had tackled into the couch was Leaf and the brunette was nearly crying with laughter. Leaf was wearing her trademark hat, a maroon vest top and white jeans with black boots as she held her stomach laughing.

"Leaf dear, calm down. It wasn't that funny." Selina said with a flick of her wrist causing her Liepard to stalk over and smack Leaf's leg with her tail. The former burglar turned her attention to May as Ash sat in a chair across from them. "That's a beautiful necklace you have on."

"Thank you, Ash gave it to me." May replied reaching to touch her Manaphy pendant but only felt her bare throat, starting to panic May looked down and found it was missing. She looked around to see where it had fallen but stopped when she saw Selina holding it up by the chain admiring it. "But…How..?"

"Sorry, it's an old habit I'm having trouble getting rid of." Selina handed the necklace back to May with a gentle smile. May took the necklace and quickly fastened it around her neck once more, shuffling away from Selina a little bit. "I'm partially to blame for Leaf's antics too, she's picked up a few of my bad habits."

"That's true, she picked my pocket earlier." Ash said, his glare lessening slightly. Selina raised a delicate eyebrow as she looked at Leaf for confirmation.

"Yep." Leaf grinned, "And he didn't notice a thing."

"Did you?" Harley asked with a wicked grin causing Leaf to turn bright red in embarrassment and refused to answer the question, beside Selina May turned red too partly from embarrassment and partly from anger.

"Come on sweetie." Selina said, "Sure you didn't feel anything?" She teased before dropping her tone to a seductive purr. "When I kicked him I definitely felt something." Harley rolled around the couch holding her stomach as she laughed, Ash glared at Selina while May and Leaf went an even deeper red. Pamela simply reached over and lightly slapped the back of Selina's head.

"Bad kitty." Pamela then turned her attention to Ash and May. "Have you two eaten already?"

"No, not yet. We were going to get something before we came here but Harley found us first." May said as her blush slowly started to fade.

"Nonsense, Sirens is a restaurant and club. You won an all-expenses paid VIP night out here, that includes a meal. Our head chef is one of the best in the world, he can be a bit of a dragon but Fin is an excellent chef without a doubt. Chef Foom can make just about any type of food you can think of." As soon as Pamela mentioned the meal Leaf had started to giggle. "Leaf dear, what has tickled your funny bone now?"

"You have no idea how much these two can eat." Leaf replied still giggling. "If they're not paying they'll probably eat everything in the club."

"Just cause me and May have healthy appetites…" Ash started before Leaf interrupted.

"Healthy? I'm not too sure about May, given her amazing figure she probably does eat healthily but you." Leaf paused as she laughed out loud. "You eat everything in sight. Remember my 6th birthday? You ate all the food before anyone else had a chance, the only reason you didn't get my cake was for the fact you went into a food coma once you'd finished."

"That's not fair, we were kids and there wasn't that much food there." Ash said trying to defend himself.

"Food for 20 kids and 11 adults, you count that as 'wasn't that much food'?" Leaf shot back. Ash and Leaf would've continued to argue but May sheepishly raised her hand a little, drawing their attention.

"I..er..kind of eat just as much as Ash. When we first travelled together we got into a couple of eating contests."

"Who won?" Harley asked sitting on the edge of her seat, twirling one of her hair bunches around her finger.

"We always drew." There was a minute of dead silence as the other women in the room processed what they'd just heard. May, who had a figure that any woman would be jealous of, got into eating contest with Ash, who as it had just been said could eat an enormous amount of food, and the result would be a draw.

One thought ran through the four women's heads the same time. What is her secret?

"It doesn't matter." Pamela said once she'd gotten over the slight shock. "We promised you all-expenses paid and that's what you'll get." She stood up from her wicker chair. "Let's go and get the two of you seated."

"Wait." May said, "I have one question before we go."

"What is it?"

"Why did Harley call Leaf, Fall?" Pamela laughed softly as Harley jumped to her feet to answer the question.

"She's a brunette leaf." The blonde said, as a matter of factly with a giant grin on her face. May just looked at Harley for a few seconds before starting to laugh, Leaf looked annoyed before she chose to speak up.

"Laugh it up Xena." May stopped laughing and looked at Leaf.

"Xena?" Harley questioned.

"You didn't see the Contest? May beat a guy up when he tried to kiss her. She's known as the Princess of Hoenn when he put that guy on his back Pamela said she should change her name to the Warrior Princess of Hoenn." Leaf explained as Selina rose an eyebrow in interest as she started to see there was more to May then there seemed to be. "The video's probably on the internet by now." Another grin formed on Harley's face as she turned to May.

"XENA!" Harley squealed as she dove at May. Reacting quickly, thanks to Ash's training, May dropped and rolled out of the way, turning just in time to see Harley roll with her dive and spin to try and tackle May again. Ash was about to step in but Pamela put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"This is how Harley…I suppose you could call it 'christens' someone with a nickname. We've all been through it." She said.

"Shouldn't we tell May that then?" Ash replied, Pamela shook her head.

"No, it'll help you out in the end. The way Harley is going she needs to burn off some of this excess energy. She'll probably be too tired to try and think of a nickname for you." Out of the corner of his eye Ash saw Leaf about to say something, his 'Leaf-Sense' told him it was going to be the story of his first visit to the Celadon City Gym. Ash turned his head and caught Leaf's eye, a silent conversation passed between them in the space of a couple of seconds. Leaf saw in Ash's eyes that if she told the 'Ashley' story then he'd tell everything he knew about her from when they were kids, and there were a few things Leaf wanted to keep secret. She knew not to call Ash's bluff, even though he was the nicest guy she knew he'd still let all of her secrets out if he was pushed.

While Ash and Leaf had been staring at each other Harley had managed to catch and pin May beneath her. Holding May's wrist above her head and straddling her stomach Harley leant down and stared May in the eyes.

"You are Xena." The blonde said firmly before kissing May on the forehead, leaving behind a brilliant red lip-print. Harley giggled at the surprised look on May's face as she straightened up and look over her shoulder to Pamela and Selina. "Pammi, Kitty, she's so cute. Can we keep her?"

"No, Harley we can't. May's got her own dreams to go after and she can't do that if she stays here." Pamela said gently.

"Aaww." Harley pouted as she released May's arms and stood up, holding a hand out to the brunette. May took the hand and was surprised when Harley easily pulled her to her feet as if she weighed nothing at all. Even though Harley as a slight woman, she was deceptively strong and flexible from the amount of agility she showed while chasing May around the room.

"You just need to give Ash a nickname now." Selina said. Ash tried to back up as Harley started walking towards him but both Pamela and Selina held him in place. Harley slowly circled Ash looking him all over, even giving his butt a quick slap.

"Any ideas girls?" The blonde asked. Pamela and Selina then circled Ash, who was starting to feel very nervous about the situation. Selina shrugged and sat down on the Chaise Longue.

"Best I can think of is Hard Body." The former burglar purred as she stretched out her slim body. Pamela looked as over for another minute before taking a step back.

"Guardian." She said finally, flipping her red hair over her shoulder.

"Guardian? Why that?" Harley asked.

"He's very protective of the people he cares about." Pamela explained. "Surely you noticed it Harl, it's all over his body language. If I saw it you definitely would've." Harley paused for a minute and thought back over what she'd seen Ash doing and saying since meeting him, she nodded.

"Guardian it is." Harley stepped up to him and stood on her tiptoes, kissing his forehead just like she did with May. "You are Guardian." Harley spun on her heels and smiled at Pamela. "You can take them for food now." The blonde then pecked Pamela on the cheek and flopped down on the couch with Leaf. The grass type Elite just smiled and shook her head before walking towards the door.

"Come on, we've been holding the best table for you." She said, gesturing for Ash and May to follow her. The pair wiped the lipstick from their foreheads and walked out of the VIP room with her, Ash earned some glares from a group of guys who were walking past as they saw that he'd just been in the VIP room with the three gorgeous owners and two other beautiful girls. Ash just ignored them and gently took May's hand in his own, May briefly glanced at their joined hands before smiling and starting to walk with a small spring in her step.

A couple minutes later climbed a flight of stairs and arrived at the entrance of the Sirens' restaurant, Pamela smiled at the Femme Maitre'd. The woman was tall the body of an athlete and the face of a model, she had straight, long silver hair which reached to her lower back. She wore a strapless silver dress with a slit up the right hand side that went to her upper thigh, white fake fur shawl covered her slender shoulders. The woman smiled and bowed her head slightly as Pamela approached her.

"Silver, these two lovely people are our special guests. Take them to the best table and their meal is free." Pamela said.

"Yes, Miss Pamela." Silver replied with a delicate but firm voice which had a slight accent that Ash couldn't identify. Pamela turned back to face Ash and May.

"Silver will look after you now, if you need anything at all just ask." And with that Pamela turned as started to walk away.

"Thank you." Ash and May said as she left, Pamela waved her hand without looking back.

"Please follow me." Silver said gaining the couple's attention, as Ash and May turned to face the Femme Maitre'd they caught her giving both of them a quick once over, seemingly sizing them up. They followed the silver haired woman to a private table by a window overlooking Celadon City which looked beautiful in the light of the setting sun. "I'll have our best come and serve you in a moment. Here are your menus and I hope you have a wonderful time at Sirens." Silver passed Ash and May their menus and bowed a little before turning and heading back to the entrance of the restaurant. May saw Ash watching Silver as she walked away and started to feel jealous but that soon faded when she saw the look on his face, it was one of recognition.

"Do you know her?" May asked

"I think so, I mean I've never met her but I'm sure I've seen her face before." Ash answered, suddenly he clicked his fingers. "I remember her now, she was in one of the case files Lance showed me a while ago. She was a mercenary but Lance caught her about two years ago, he showed me the case file to gloat about catching her. Wonder how she got involved with Sirens?" Ash shrugged and opened the menu, May just looked at him for a minute before turning to her own menu. She only managed to read the first few dishes before Ash got her attention.

"Er…I can't understand the menu." He said sheepishly, all of the dishes were written in Kalosian (AN Kalosian – French). May giggled and shuffled her chair around so she sat next to Ash and shared his menu as she told him what the dishes were. Ash wasn't really concentrating on what May was saying due to the fact her face was close to his and he could smell her perfume, she'd put on a little of the sample that Erika had given her from Fraxinus Lauros.

Once May had finished explaining it all to Ash, he asked her to go over it one more time so he could actually listening to her this time. May just smiled and went through the menu again before moving her chair back to its original position. A couple of minutes later they'd both decided what they wanted and a waiter wearing a head-covering mask came over, the mask was mostly red with two large black ovals at the front and two small white ovals in the positions of the eyes. Ash stiffened as the man got closer and moved his chair slightly so he could move if he had to.

"Hello, honoured guests." The waiter started with a deep bow, "Welcome to Sirens, I'll be your waiter-slash-entertainment for the evening. You can call me, well whatever you want really. Are you ready to order or do you wish to discuss the finer points of a death match between Bugs Buneary and Dracula first?" The waiter straightened up and looked at the bewildered stared on both Ash's and May's faces. "I take it you need a few minutes to decide. I'll just wait here." The waiter then sat cross-legged on the floor resting an elbow on one knee with his chin in palm of his hand looking back and forth between couple. "Have you ever tried Chimichangas? I don't like them that much but it's real fun to say." The waiter then started to quietly chant 'Chimichanga' but before Ash or May could say anything a woman in her late twenties with a long, thick mane of golden hair and beautiful face came rushing over. The woman wore a black waistcoat over a white blouse and tight black pants that showed off her long legs

"Wade, Silver told you not to both these people, stay at the bar." The woman said. The waiter, now identified as Wade, changed his position so he was now on one knee as he took the woman's hand.

"Ah, mi amore. Will this be the day you finally grant me permission to motorboat that bountiful chest of yours?" The waitress flushed red as she grabbed Wade by his collar, pulling him up so they were face to face.

"Go. To. The. Bar. Now." She hissed. Wade managed to slip out of her grasp and move back a little.

"Very well my love, I shall go and await your arrival." Wade bowed again and skipped, literally skipped, away towards the bar. The waitress shook her head before turning to Ash and May and bowing.

"I apologise for Wade, he means well but there isn't a filter between his brain and his mouth so he's not all there." The waitress said standing straight again. "My name's Amora and I'll be your waitress for this evening. Are you ready to order?" Amora took a small notepad and pen from the pocket of the apron she wore around her waist and looked at Ash and May for their answer.

"Er…yes we are." May said uncertainly before looking back at her menu and requesting her meal with Ash adding his order right afterwards. Amora was a little shocked by the amount of food they requested but noted their orders down quickly and smiled.

"Okay and what drinks would you like?"

"I'll have a glass of white wine please." May said, surprising Ash.

"Sure thing, and for you sir?"

"Can I get a coke?" Ash asked.

"Not a problem, hun." Amora replied, giving Ash a quick wink, as she noted down their drinks. "That everything for now?" Ash and May nodded. "Alright then I'll be right back with your drinks." Amora put the notepad and pen back into her apron pocket, nodded to the couple and walked away with a flip of her hair and sway of her hips to get their drinks and to place their food order.

"So you drink wine?" Ash asked.

"Occasionally, I'm not a big drinker but I like to have a glass of two every now and again." May said with a giggle. "I mean, come on, we're having the VIP treatment at a very exclusive restaurant and club. We're allowed to enjoy ourselves aren't we?" May smiled and tilted her head slightly. "Besides with everything that's happened over the last week you deserve the chance to relax."

"I guess you're right." Ash said. "You've been training hard for the Contest and with Gardevoir…." May reached across the table and cupped Ash's cheek.

"You don't have to say it Ash. We both need the chance to rest and have some fun." She patted his cheek lightly. "Now lighten up and tell me some embarrassing stories about Leaf. She told me yours so it's only fair that you tell me hers." A wicked smile crossed Ash's face.

"Yeah, you're right. It's only fair."

Amora came back to the table a minute later and placed their drinks on the table, informing them their food would be ready in a few minutes. They thanked her and Ash kept telling May stories about how Delia had caught Leaf putting on her make up but instead of looking like a supermodel Leaf actually looked like a cross between a Jynx and Mr. Mime.

Their food arrived and Ash kept sharing stories as they ate. They thoroughly enjoyed their meal and after a few minutes Ash noticed a strange smile on May's lips.

"What are you smiling about?" He asked.

"It's nothing," May said with a giggle and took a sip of her wine.

"Come on, tell me."

"It's just that this is our first date as a couple." Ash was silent for a couple of seconds before shaking his head.

"No, it's not."

"What do you mean? Yes it is." May countered but Ash shook his head again.

"It's only a date if the guy pays right? This is free so it doesn't count." May just stared at him for a while before she burst out laughing. Once May go a hold of herself, she reached across the table and put her hand on top of Ash's.

"Ash, that's not how it works. Yes, you're right the guy usually pays but there are exceptions like tonight." May smiled at him, "Who gave you dating advice?"

"Gary, but it was mostly on what not to do."

"Really? Like what?" Ash hesitated. "Oh, you can tell me. What did Gary tell you not to do?"

"He made me promise not to tell."

"I'll tell you one of Dawn's secrets if you tell me Gary's advice."

"I can't, I promised."

"Alright then." May sighed with a shrug as she looked down. "You leave me no other choice." May raised her head to look at Ash and gave him the saddest puppy dog eyes she could. Ash managed to hold his ground….for about two seconds before crumbling.

"He told me not to ask whether a girl's sister or mom was as good as kissing as she was. Leaf slapped him when he went on a date with her and asked about her sister, he got punched by a girl who lived down the street from me by asking about her mom." Ash then went on to break the Bro Code by telling May every little thing Gary had told him. By the time Ash had finished their food had arrived and May had tears rolling down her cheeks from how hard she'd been laughing.

"Well, he's right you don't do any of that on a date." May said as she wiped away her tears, still chuckling lightly. "I'm a little surprised though."

"Surprised?"

"Yeah, I thought you would've asked Brock for advice."

"I was going to but he would've made a big deal out of it and given his record with women, I don't think his approach would've worked with me." May raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know, if you went up to a girl and professed undying love to her I think you'd at least get her number out of it." May smirked. "I know I would've given you mine if we didn't know each other." Ash was shocked by May's confession but soon started to laugh along with her as they talked.

They settled into a comfortable conversation about other stories they had about the people they'd met during their journeys as they ate, occasionally sharing a piece of their meals with each other. Amora would approach the table every so often to check if they were doing okay and enquire if they needed anything. A couple of times Wade tried to get to their table, even army crawling across the floor at one point, but Amora always spotted him and would drag him away. During their meal the chef came out to see if they were enjoying the food, he was a mountain of a man wearing the typical chef's outfit with short sleeves showing off a large green dragon tattoo on his right bicep. They told him his food was amazing and made polite conversation with his before he had to return to the kitchen.

Once Ash and May had finished their meals Amora came over, collected their plates while handing over dessert menus and told them she'd be back over a little later to take their order. The couple looked over their menus and after a few minutes they'd decided what they wanted. Ash turned to look out of the window alongside their table and over Celadon City, admiring how the stars and moonlight somehow seemed to make the plants shine even in the dark, he caught sight of May's reflection in the window as she looked at him.

"Enjoying the view?" He asked turning to face her. A light blush coated May's cheeks when she realised she'd been caught.

"Yeah, the city looks beautiful tonight." May said turning to look out of the window, "Is it just me or are the plants glowing?"

"They are glowing." A female voice answered, turning around Ash and May saw that Pamela was standing behind them. "I developed a spray that would keep the plants healthy for longer and make them more resistant to pollution, the glowing is a side effect of the spray. It makes the chlorophyll in the leaves fluoresce when out of the sunlight, Miss Erika helped me patent it and Celadon City uses it to honour the legacy of the Gym." Pamela smiled at them. "How are you enjoying the evening so far?"

"It's great." May replied, "Though one of your waiters is a little strange."

"Wade is…unique but he's a dedicated worker and everyone deserves a second chance." Pamela waved a hand around the restaurant, pointing out the other waiters and waitresses. One waiter had spiky red hair and a neckerchief with boomerangs on it, another was bald with a lightning bolt pins on his collar, a waitress had white hair and a white fur collar on her jacket and there was another waitress stood at the bar collecting some drinks with red hair wearing a necklace with a goblin pendant hanging from it. "Owen, Max, Felicia, Madelyne and everyone else here has been given a second chance and none of them have done anything bad since coming here."

"Miss Pamela." Amora said as she came back to the table, bowing a little to the Elite.

"Amora, I trust you are giving Ash and May our best service."

"Wade is making it a little difficult but I'm managing. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"No, I just came to see how the lucky couple were doing. After all they won the VIP treatment, they should get the very best Sirens can offer."

"That's what I've been telling her." Wade said jumping in front of Pamela. "I should be here to look after them." Pamela smiled lightly.

"I know that Wade but with Amora looking after Ash and May I need you to deal with her tables so she can give them her undivided attention." Pamela put a hand on his shoulder. "You have your mission, complete it using your full abilities."

"At once Empress." Wade said, snapping a salute and marching over to the other table to continue his job. Amora shook her head in disbelief.

"No matter how many times I see you do it, I still can't believe it. I've tried doing that but he never listens, I've even tried my charm offensive and that's never failed before I met Wade." The blonde waitress said, Pamela just gave a little shrug.

"I guess I just have a way with him." Pamela turned back to Ash and May. "Well, I'll leave the two of you to your meal." Giving the couple a parting smile the Elite turned and made her way through the tables greeting the other diners.

"I've worked here since Siren's opened and I still don't understand that woman." Amora said before shaking her head and looking at Ash and May. "Sorry about that. Are you ready to order a dessert?"

"Can we get the Sharing Deluxe Sundae please?" May said handing her menu over.

"Okay, what toppings would you like?" Ash and May shared a look and grinned.

"All of them." Ash answered.

"With all the sauces too please." May added. Amora just stared at them for a few second before nodding slowly and writing their order down, she collected the menu from Ash and gave the couple a once over before leaving to place the order in the kitchen. How can they eat so much and still be that in shape? The blonde thought as she walked through the tables.

Ash and May sat in a comfortable silence as they waited for their dessert, reaching across the table and holding each other's hand while looking out of the window. A few minutes later Amora came back with the white haired waitress, between them they were carrying a large dish piled high with numerous different flavours of ice cream covered in whipped cream, sprinkles, chopped nuts, chocolate flakes and many more toppings with all different sauces drizzled on top. The dish was put on their table with a heavy thud and the white haired waitress looked at Ash and May.

"You two sure you can eat all this?" She asked, Ash and May shared a look and nodded.

"Time us." Ash replied with a wicked grin as he picked up a spoon. May did the same and both of them looked at Amora and the white haired waitress.

"Wait, you actually want us to time you?"

"Why not, could be challenge for the restaurant in future." Amora said. "You've got your X-Transceiver on you haven't you Felicia?"

"Yeah, but I didn't think they were serious." Felicia replied taking her X-Transceiver out of her apron and activating the stopwatch function. "Okay Amora, you give the word."

"Ready?" Ash and May held their spoons tightly and nodded as they looked at the dessert in front of them. "Set." Felicia held her thumb over the start button and nodded. "Go!"

The second Amora had said the word, Ash and May dug into their dessert while still somehow maintaining manners and dinner etiquette. By the time Felicia saw the stopwatch cross the one minute mark the couple had devoured nearly half the sundae, surprising both waitresses and the other diners nearby. Some of the diners had started to cheer the couple on, urging them to eat faster but disaster struck a few seconds later as Ash dropped his spoon, grabbed his forehead and scrunched his eyes closed as brain freeze set in. May saw Ash stopping and acted quickly, she stood and leant across the table, kissing him on the forehead and whispered in his ear. Ash's eyes snapped open as he picked his spoon up again and started to eat with even more vigour than before. May grinned and went back to eating her side of the sundae, just under a minute later there wasn't much left of the dessert. On a whim as Ash and May scooped up their final spoonfuls May held her spoon out to Ash prompting him to hold his out to May, both of them leant forward and ate the ice cream on the other's spoon.

"Stop the clock." Amora said, Felicia did as she was told without looking at the time as she had become transfixed at the spectacle in front of her. "Felicia, what's their time?"

"Two minutes, thirty seven seconds." Felicia replied in disbelief.

"I thought we could've done it in under two minutes." Ash said putting his spoon down and wiping his mouth quickly.

"We might've if you didn't get brain freeze and we didn't bother with manners." May replied, licking her spoon before placing it in the empty dish.

"I suppose you're right."

A slow applause started from the other diners at the surprising feat they'd just witnessed, looking at the source Ash and May saw Harley grinning at them before she stepped up to the table and turned to face the other diners.

"What you have just witnessed is the start of the Sirens Super Sundae Sensation Challenge, if you complete it your entire meal is free but if you fail then you have to pay. Rules are everything has to be eaten and it can only be shared between two people, anymore and you're disqualified, have to pay for your meal and the meal of the people on the table next to you. Would anyone like to attempt it?" She announced, a few of the other diners looked at each other but no-one answered. "In that case please continue to enjoy your meals with a free drink from the bar." The diners went back to their tables and meals as the waiters and waitresses took the free drink orders. Harley turned to face Ash and May, placing her hands on the table and bending down to look be on eye level. "Okay, I have to know two things. One, how can you eat so much and not be the size of a Snorlax?" The blonde focussed her gaze on May, "Two, what did you say to get Ash to push through the brain freeze?"

"I don't know, we must have really fast metabolisms plus we walk everywhere and exercise a lot." Ash replied.

"Okay, I'll accept that but what dirty little promises did May say to you?" Harley smirked seeing May redden out of the corner of her eye. "Must've been something good to get you to push through the brain freeze. When I get it I'm useless for a couple of hours, Chef Finn's ice cream is extra cold so it tastes even better.

"I just said I was winning." May said crossing her arms over her chest. "We're both really competitive, I knew that would get Ash eating again."

"Right, like I believe that. I'll let you two keep your filthy secrets but I know that wasn't a challenge May issued." Harley stood up straight and strutted away, weaving through the tables swaying her hips and drawing the looks from the men she passed. As she got to the doors of the restaurant she looked over her shoulder and smiled cheekily, knowing all the men were looking at her. "Sorry boys, I'm property of Sirens." With a flick of her hair and a laugh Harley did a quick somersault before cartwheeling away.

"So am I." Wade said before giving the room a pelvic thrust and skipping after Harley but came back less than a minute later rubbing his head and going back to his tables. In the corridor some of the diners could see Harley dusting her hands off and walking away.

Ash and May ordered another drink and once they were finished made their way out of the restaurant. Silver walked them back to the VIP room and wished them a pleasant night before returning to her post. After knocking twice, Pamela opened the door and let them in. Ash and May sat on the couch as Pamela went back to her wicker chair and Selina was sitting on the Chaise Longue with Leaf on the floor in front of her as the older woman braided her hair. Selina's Purrloin was curled up in Leaf's lap and being stroked by the Pallet Town brunette.

"Did you enjoy your meal?" Selina asked.

"Yes, thank you." May replied, "The ice cream was delicious. We might've started something though."

"What do you mean 'started something'?"

"We ordered the Sharing Sundae Deluxe with everything on it."

"By everything do you mean, all the toppings?" May nodded shyly.

"All the toppings, all flavours of ice cream and all the sauces too." May rubbed the back of her head as Selina's jaw dropped and the attention of the three other women in the room was focussed solely on May. "When we finished it Harley turned up and announced it as a challenge. She said it had to be shared between two people and if they finished it the meal was free but it you failed or more than two people ate it you have to pay for your meal and for the table next to you."

"Did you finish it?" Leaf asked with wide eyes.

"Yep, two minutes thirty seven seconds." Ash said nodding and bringing the room's attention to himself, "Though I still think we could've done it in under two minutes."

"You…were timed?" Ash nodded again.

"The waitress with white hair asked if we were sure we could finish it and I said time us." The Hoenn brunette added causing Leaf to turn and look at her.

"Seriously, you were timed?" May nodded. "I don't believe you two, I really don't. You've just had a massive meal and an even bigger dessert, apparently that's not unusual for you and yet you're still in amazing shape. Anyone else would be the size of a Snorlax."

Selina put a hand on Leaf's shoulder to try and stop her rant.

"Calm down kitten, there are something that can never be explained. Much like your attraction to that egotist you find so appealing." Selina purred softly.

"That's not true." Leaf retorted, causing her 'Aunt' to raise a slim eyebrow.

"Oh really." Selina pulled a small red book out from behind her back, kicked her shoes off and spun around to lie back on the Chaise Longue, the former burglar smirked as she saw the light of recognition in Leaf's eyes. The Pallet Town brunette tried to take the book away from Selina but the black haired owner of Sirens simply held Leaf back with her feet as she flicked through the pages of the book. "Now let's see where should I start reading? Ash be a dear and give me a number."

"Er.., okay 43." Ash replied before getting a glare that promised vengeance from Leaf.

"Page 43…Ah, here we are. 'Please let me be the only Leaf on that mighty Oak.'" Selina read aloud. "Isn't that sickeningly soppy and only slightly dirty, Leaf dear you really should learn to write better than that or at least make it saucier. Although I have found some of those little desires you've written in here, very naughty. Are you sure you're flexible enough for some of those things?"

"Give me my diary!" Leaf shouted as she tried to rip the book form Selina's hands. May was giggling while all of this was going on.

"You like Gary even after you slapped him?" May asked before slapping a hand over her mouth as Ash stared at her. Leaf stopped struggling with Selina and turned her head to look at May.

"How do you know that?" Leaf said in a dangerously calm voice, the tone of Leaf's voice had intrigued Selina as she too looked at the Hoenn brunette for an answer.

"Err, well…" May said hesitantly as she tried to think of an answer. "You see, Ash and I went on a sort of date in Cerulean City and Ash asked Gary for some advice. I overheard Gary tell Ash that you'd slapped him after your date." Leaf eyed May warily before slowly accepting her lie.

"We need details." Harley said as she entered the VIP room. "Specifically why." Harley leapt across the room and dropped on to the sofa next to May, grinning manically.

"I don't know anything else, you'd be better asking Leaf." Harley turned her grin to Leaf.

"Answer the question Fall, why did you slap your imaginary boyfriend?"

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Leaf screamed.

"Well, not with that kind of attitude he won't be." Selina said with a smirk. Leaf glared at her 'Aunt' as her face went a deep shade of red. Slowly the Pallet Town brunette turned her gaze to Ash.

"What else did Gary tell you?" Her tone left no room for evasion, Ash knew that if he tried to lie Leaf would know and let slip all of his secrets.

"Do you want me to say it in front of everyone?" He asked, Leaf nodded slowly not lessening her glare. Ash sighed and broke the Bro Code for a second time that night, telling Leaf everything that Gary had told him as advice. With each sentence Harley and Selina laughed harder, Pamela's eyes hardened and Leaf's face went from red to purple as she gripped her white jeans. After a couple of minutes Ash had told nearly everything except for the main reason behind this conversation.

"Come on, tell us why Leaf slapped the egotistical perv!" Harley demanded with a stamp of her foot. Ash spared a look at Leaf, checking if she wanted him to continue but saw that her head had drooped and her shoulders were shaking. Ash looked at his friend and came to a decision.

"No."

"What?" Selina said leaning forward, having shifted her position again so she was sitting normally facing Ash.

"I said, No. It's not my story to tell." Ash straightened up a little in his seat.

"Ash." Leaf said in a quiet voice drawing everyone's attention, making Selina and Harley finally notice the state Leaf was in. "Just tell them."

"Not going to happen, you can tell as many of my secrets as you want. Hell, you can tell all of them but I'm not going to say it." Ash replied standing his ground.

"Ashley." Leaf growled dangerously.

"Go ahead, I don't care. If you want, I'll tell that story." Everyone else in the room looked between Ash and Leaf to see who'd break first.

"Leaf." May said standing from the couch and walking over the crouch in front of the shaking brunette, putting her hand over Leaf's. "Ash can see you've really upset and he doesn't want to make it worse. You've known him for years, once he makes up his mind is there anything that can change it?"

"Just his mom." Leaf sniffed as a tear fell on to May's hand, May smiled.

"You can say whatever you want about him but he's not going to tell that story, it'll be our little secret." May looked at Harley, Selina and Pamela. "Gary might've been a bit of a sleaze when he was younger but he's grown up now, he's a better person."

"And only a little bit sleazy." Ash added, drawing a small laugh from Leaf. He walked over to the two brunettes and held a hand out to each of them. "I believe I owe both of you ladies a dance, shall we go?" Leaf finally took her gaze away from her lap and followed the hand up the arm and then to the raven haired trainer's face, her eyes were shimmering with unshed tears as she nodded slowly. She wiped her eyes and put her hand in his standing up at the same time as May.

"Just give me a minute to freshen up and we can go." Leaf said, walking over to her handbag and taking out a tissue, a compact mirror and some mascara.

"So we're not going to find out why?" Harley said, getting a glare from Ash and May along with a bop on the head from Pamela.

"No, you're not going to find out." The grass type Elite said, as she walked to the door. "I'll tell Leslie to clear the floor."

"Clear the floor?" May asked.

"Leaf tends to need a lot of room when she dances." Pamela replied with a small smile. "Especially when Leslie's the DJ." Leaf's head snapped up from her mirror and spun to look at Pamela.

"The Livewire's here?" The Gym Assistant asked as a grin broke out on her lips.

"She is, please try to control yourself this time." Pamela nodded, "Speakers are very expensive, even with Selina's billionaire boyfriend as an investor." Pamela then left the VIP room with Selina growling at her. "Please, you thought you could keep that a secret?" Pamela said with a flick of her hair.

"Alright let's do this." Leaf said as her compact clicked closed, putting her things back in her handbag before approaching Ash and May. She linked her arm with Ash's so he had a beautiful brunette on each arm as they exited the VIP room and Leaf guided them to the doorway of the club, which was down a small flight of stairs. In front of the door stood another bouncer and like Dorrance at the front door, this bouncer was a mountain of a man, he had incredibly pale skin, almost white, along with short messy white hair and he wore a black tuxedo without a tie, leaving the top couple of buttons of his shirt undone revealing an extremely muscular chest. "Hey Solomon, Pamela let you know we were coming right?"

"Ugh." Solomon grunted with a nod and opened the door, letting a near wall of sound blast out at the trio.

"Thank you!" Leaf shouted over the noise getting another nod from the bouncer as the trio passed him entering the club part of Sirens.

As Ash and May looked around the club they saw a mass of bodies all twisting and swaying with the pounding music, at the far end of the club they could see Pamela stood at the DJ booth. The DJ was a slim, petite woman with electric blue spiked hair, she wore a pair of tight black short, a tight black t-shirt with a white lightning bolt on it and a thigh height pair of black leather boots.

Leaf steered Ash and May to a booth marked 'Reserved' and slid into the seat, when the couple joined her they noticed that the volume of the music dropped dramatically so they could talk to each other without having to shout.

"How..?" May started.

"Cool, isn't it." Leaf grinned, "Aunt Selina knows someone who's an expert in acoustics, he designed these booths so people can talk without having the volume of the music interfering. The bar's right behind us and constructed the same way, what do you want?"

"Just a coke please." Ash said.

"Aww, you're no fun." Leaf pouted and turned to May. "What about you?"

"A small glass of white wine please." May replied.

"That's more like it." Leaf smiled, looking back at Ash. "Why can't you be more like you girlfriend." Leaf stood up and waved over the bartender. "Hey Jervis, glass of coke, small white and Vermillion Sunrise."

The bartender was a small man, barely reaching 5 foot in height, he had frizzy red hair sticking out from under a large green top hat. He walked over and smiled at Leaf.

"Of course, Carpenter. How is the Queen?" He asked as he prepared the drinks.

"The Queen is perfectly well, she's currently aiding in the celebrations." Leaf replied as Ash and May shared a confused look, "The two in the booth with me are the Queen's special guest, they don't have to pay for their drinks."

"Understood Carpenter." Jervis paused as he measured out the ingredients for Leaf's Vermillion Sunrise. "Have you seen Alice by any chance?"

"Sorry Hatter, I haven't but she'll turn up eventually." Jervis sighed.

"I suppose you're right Carpenter." Jervis slide the drinks towards her. "Here are your refreshments, enjoy your tea party."

"Thank you Hatter." Leaf smiled as she took the drinks and turned, sitting back in her seat as she passed May her wine and Ash his coke.

"What was that all about?" Ash asked before May nudged him in the ribs.

"Couldn't you have asked that nicely?" May said but Leaf waved her off.

"Its fine, I'm used to Ash's bluntness. Jervis has a fixation with Alice in Wonderland, so he associated characters from the book to people he knows. Pamela is the Queen of Hearts, cause men tend to fall over themselves for her, Aunt Selina is the Cheshire Cat, for obvious reason, and he calls Harley the March Hare because she tends to be a little bit mad. Jervis related himself to the Mad Hatter, hence the top hat." Leaf paused to take a sip of her drink. "He's harmless as long as you don't try to pull him out of his fixation, most of the time if someone tries he'll just walk away but there have been some people that really make fun of him cause of it and Jervis has lashed out a couple of times." Leaf giggled and took another sip of her drink. "For such a little guy, he's got a mean right hook."

The trio chatted for a few minutes before volume of the music dropped and they heard Pamela's voice boom throughout the room.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" The club fell silent. "Thank you, I'd just like to introduce the winner of today's Contest and her date for this evening." A spotlight shone on their booth and Leaf slipped out so Ash and May were the focus. "The Princess of Hoenn May Maple and her boyfriend Ash Ketchum, the first and only person to have beaten the Kanto Battle Frontier, please give them a round of applause." Everyone clapped but Ash could see some of the men looking at May with a hungry gaze, just as May saw some of the women giving Ash the same look. "Now that they are sufficiently embarrassed, let's kick this party up a notch. Livewire, light it up."

The woman with electric blue hair next to Pamela laughed as she took the microphone.

"You've got it Red. I'm the spark that will send this place sky high." The music blasted out of the speakers as everyone started to dance again.

"I love it when Leslie's DJing here, she always mixes the best songs." Leaf grinned as she slid back into the booth alongside May.

"Did you know Pamela was going to do that?" May asked.

"Not know, but I did have my suspicions." Leaf nodded to the dance floor. "You can ask her yourself if you want, here she comes."

Looking out at the mass of dancers Ash and May saw them parting as Pamela sauntered towards them. It was easily noticeable the men and some of the women wanted to approach her but no-one tried, simply moving back as if there was a bubble around the grass type Elite that pushed them aside. Pamela stopped at their booth and elegantly sat down next to Ash.

"I hope I didn't embarrass you too much." She said, her flirty girl persona slipping slightly.

"It's fine," May said. "Don't worry about it."

"That's good to hear." Pamela sighed in relief. "Sometimes I get a little caught up in the act. I've told all the bartenders that anything you order is on the house but it looks like Jervis has taken this section for himself. I'll leave you to your evening, don't be afraid to ask for anything at all." The red headed beauty gracefully slid out of the booth and stood up, giving the trio a slight nod she turned and made her way to the entrance, hardly breaking step as she shot down a guy who tried to flirt with her.

"Come on, time to dance." Leaf said, jumping out of her seat and grabbing Ash's hand. "You promised me a dance and I want it now." Leaf then grabbed May's arm when she saw the Co-Ordinator smirking. "Don't think you're getting out of it Xena." Showing surprising strength Leaf pulled both Ash and May out of their seats, dragging them to the dance floor. Within a minute both Leaf and May were in full flow, dancing with the music and each other while Ash stood watching them unsure what to do.

"COME ON ASH!" Leaf shouted over the music. "DANCE WITH US!"

"I DON'T KNOW HOW TO!" Ash yelled in reply. Shaking her head, Leaf gently shoved May into Ash's body.

"MAY, SHOW HIM HOW IT'S DONE!"

May smiled and took hold of Ash's hands placing them on her hips, mouthing at him to follow what she did. It took a few attempts for Ash to relax before he slowly started to match May's movements, looking around occasionally Ash saw what some of the other guys on the dance floor were doing and picked some of their moves to add to his own. Once she thought Ash had loosened up enough Leaf joined the couple, taking a hand from each of them and matching their dancing easily.

They danced for a few songs before going to sit in their booth again, Leaf ordered another round of drinks as the three of them cool down from the cramped and heated conditions of the dance floor.

"Why don't you drink Ash?" Leaf asked, stirring her drink with her straw.

"I don't like the taste plus it doesn't have any effect on me." He answered.

"What do you mean it doesn't affect you?" Ash lowered his voice before answering.

"My Aura burns it away before I can feel anything from it. So there's not really any point in me paying for a drink I don't enjoy."

"But you're not paying tonight and Sirens has some really strong stuff."

"Thanks for the offer but I'll stick with what I've got." Ash held up his glass of coke and drank a little.

"You really are no fun." Leaf grumbled. May watched their back and forth as she stood at the entrance of the booth, sipping her wine and swaying gently with the music. She jerked and spun around with a slap when she felt someone grab her behind but missed as her groper ducked.

"Calm down Xena, it's only a joke." Harley grinned as she straightened up. "It was such a tempting target, I'm sure Guardian will agree with me." Ash looked away with a light blush on his face. "See, he agrees with his silence." Harley reached out and grabbed Ash's hand dragging him from his seat. "Come on big guy, I want to dance too."

Ash didn't get a choice in the matter as Harley pulled him across the dance floor and into the middle, quickly making his feel uncomfortable as she proceeded to grind against him. As the young Aura Guardian looked around for help he saw Leaf and May laughing at his predicament, he was about to leave when he felt a hand stroke his chin, move down his neck and across his shoulders. Turning to see who the hand belonged to Ash came face to face with Selina.

"Harley can't be the one who gets all the fun." She purred as she started to dance close to him. Searching for help from May and Leaf again, Ash only found the pair of brunette's laughing even harder. After what seemed like a lifetime to Ash but was only a few minutes the young Aura Guardian felt someone pull him away from the pair.

"Now ladies, I can't let you two have all the fun." A different voice said, the voice belonged to Pamela as she swayed with the music giving Ash a gentle smile. Due to Pamela keeping some distance from him, Ash calmed down and slowly started to dance with her.

"Hey!" Harley pouted and turned to Selina. "Why didn't he dance with us?"

"I think we got a bit too close." Selina said, putting an arm around the blonde's shoulders. "Come on, let's go and make some guys drool." Selina steered her friend to a different part of the dance floor and starts to dance with her, drawing amazed stares from many of the guys in the club.

Eventually Leaf and May decided to get back onto the dance floor and join Ash, the brunette's danced with Ash and Pamela for a few songs until they came out of a twirl and found the raven haired trainer had disappeared. They started to look for him when they heard a man's voice above the music.

"WHAT THE HELL DUDE?!"

Turning to look in the direction of the shout May, Pamela and Leaf saw Ash standing by their table surrounded by a group of men. Ash had one of the men in an arm lock and forcefully bent over the table, another stood behind Ash with a raise fist raised to punch.

CRACK!

The man who was about to attack Ash found that his arm stung and wouldn't move. Turning his head he saw his forearm was wrapped in black leather, following the leather to its source finding Selina holding the end of a whip and Harley quickly advancing on him. The blonde closed the distance in seconds and slammed a powerful left hook into his jaw, dropping him in an instant.

May, Leaf and Pamela quickly made their way over to find out what was happening at the same time they saw Solomon enter the club and start lumbering over to the table.

"Ash, what's going on?" Pamela asked.

"I saw this guy putting something in the drinks." Ash replied, the rest of the men that had been surrounding the table took a few steps back as Solomon came over and Dorrance could be seen entering the dance floor. Pamela reached across the table and picked up Leaf and May's drinks, she dipped a finger into Leaf's and tasted it before doing the same to May's.

"Sweet Scent concentrate with Qualot extract. Lowers a person's inhibitions to practically zero especially when mixed with alcohol." Pamela looked to the bar. "Jervis, call Officer Jenny."

"The Royal Guard are on their way already my Queen." The bartender replied.

"Solomon, Dorrance make sure none of these men go anywhere." The two bouncers nodded and quickly contained the group, Dorrance held one off the ground by the back of his collar, another pressed between his chest and one of his massive arms along with placing a foot on the chest of the man Harley had knocked out. Solomon had hold of two others gripping one in each arm while Ash kept hold of the leader of the group slammed against the table. The group of men did try to wrestle free but against the raw strength of Dorrance and Solomon or Ash's Aura enhanced muscles they didn't go anywhere.

Officer Jenny arrived a couple of minutes later and after taking a few statements and being shown Ash's GCS she dragged the men away. The club had fallen silent during the altercation but a single wave of Pamela's hand to Leslie soon got the party atmosphere back to fever pitch. May and Leaf were a little disturbed by the incident and went back to the VIP room with Ash, wanting to try and calm their nerves they had more to drink knowing that in the VIP room no-one could put anything in their drinks. Ash tried to get them to slow down but the situation some got out of hand, it turned out that Leaf was a sad drunk because she started crying about why Gary didn't love her and why he was such an egotist. Eventually Leaf passed out after she had Ash tell her she was pretty and Gary was a complete idiot for not noticing, the second part Ash had no problem doing.

May on the other hand wasn't a sad drunk, she was a bit of a pervert and a grabby one at that. She was constantly hanging off of Ash, grabbing his behind, feeling his muscles or whispering suggestions of what they could do into his ear followed by her tongue. More than a few times Ash had to bat her hands away as she reached for something she shouldn't or hold her wrists which just made her giggle and lick her lips before asking 'what he was going to do with her'. After a couple of hours in the VIP room, including an hour of dealing with Drunk Leaf and Drunk May, Pamela, Harley and Selina came back to see how they were doing finding Leaf passed out on the couch, May curled up in Ash's lap, nuzzling into his chest, her arms around his neck with a smile on her face, and Ash looking stressed beyond belief.

"Ash." Pamela whispered so she didn't wake the girls up. "There's a couple of rooms upstairs where you can put May and Leaf. It'll save you the hassle of trying to get Leaf back to her apartment and May back to the Pokémon Centre, there's a room for you too if you don't want leave May alone." Ash nodded his thanks as she took hold of May, gently lifting her up as he stood. Selina and Harley walked over to Leaf and picked her up, carrying her out of the room. Ash followed them up the stairs towards the restaurant and then up a second flight, Pamela opened a door for Selina and Harley to take Leaf into a room.

"Leaf's passed out a few times here so she's got her own room." Pamela said as she led Ash to a different room. "You can put May in here." The grass type elite opened the door and let Ash carry May in, Pamela flicked on the light as she followed him in. The room only had the bare essentials, a single bed, a dresser, chair and small wardrobe, there was also a small bathroom. "Just put her on the bed and I'll show you to a room you can sleep in." Ash nodded and placed May gently on the bed but when he tried to straighten up May tightened her grip around his neck and frowned.

"Ngh." She groaned, trying to pull Ash closer. Ash gently tried to get out of her grip but a sudden forceful tug by May had Ash fall face first into her chest. May, still asleep, smiled and giggled as her boyfriend tried to free himself, all the while Pamela was stood in the doorway with a hand over her mouth as she tried not to laugh. Ash eventually managed to get his face out of May's chest, with an embarrassed blush on his face, and get himself out of her grasp but when he tried to walk away the brunette reached out and took his hand.

"Pamela." Ash said softly, "Can you bring the chair over for me? I don't think I'm going to get away without waking May up, besides I think this is the first time she's been drunk I don't want to leave her alone."

"It won't be very comfortable." Pamela replied as she carried the chair over. "Are you sure you don't want to go to a different room?"

"I'm sure, I've slept in worse places." Ash took the chair and sat down, still holding May's hand.

"I'll bring you a pillow and a blanket." Pamela said as she left the room but as soon as she left Harley stuck her head around the door and grinned fiendishly, the blonde disappeared for a few seconds before reappearing with a camera. She took the picture and ran off before Ash could even try to go after her, Selina looked into the room next and just smirked.

"You behave yourself young man." She said sinfully before leaving him alone. Pamela came back a minute later, put the pillow behind his back and draped the blanket across his lap.

"Good night." She said, briefly pressing her lips to Ash's forehead. "Sorry, it's a habit." She added when she saw the shocked look on Ash's face, with a kind smile Pamela walked out of the room, turning off the light and closing the door behind her.

"Night." Ash said as Pamela left, still a little shocked by what she did.

Ash sat there in the dark for a few minutes just looking at May as she slept, the light from the city coming from the window letting him see. He smiled as he watched her smile when she squeezed his hand to make sure he was still there, taking a second to meditate Ash managed to send Lucario a message through his Aura to say they were staying at the club for the night and would be back at the Pokémon Centre in the morning. Ash moved the pillow so it would be comfortable and started to pull up the blanket when he stopped, he looked at May again and leant down, kissing her forehead then sitting up again.

"Good night May." Ash whispered, he pulled up the blanket and closed his eyes letting sleep take him as he felt the comforting squeeze of May's hand.

That's all I've got for now.

Until next time
