Here we chronicle all the things that I want to write down because I'm thinking about them but in a way that seems productive and is also always available to me no matter the circumstances.
My shitty ff ideas
You ever woken up and felt like something was off? Like you aren't really you in a way? Because if not I envy you. It's not like you were working with the world's dumbest lab partner, somehow got electrocuted while doing research on restriction enzymes, and woke up with the wrong hair color, something coming out of my tailbone that has ALREADY fallen asleep, in the wrong house with this shit floating above you
HI! YOU DIED! BOOWOMP!
Somehow this fucker killed me? Should not have let him anywhere near the power supplies, especially when we weren't using them. Also did I get Isekai'd?
Yep. You're strange, so you get to live, here's your stuff, hopefully you remember all this.
You are not a very good introducer to someone who died in his head like 20 minutes ago.

Oh hey that's my old DND character, neat. Explains the tail. The magic is new, though.
Told you you would recognize it! That high wisdom and low intelligence is why you're doing okay and aren't going insane.
Rude.
There are a few changes though based on the world but you'll figure them out. It's DXD btw, about 1 month before Issei gets Ace'd.
So what I'm hearing is that I don't have much time before we need to deal with fallen angels and excalibur fragments and Khaos Brigade, cool cool I'm fine.
I need to get out of bed. One that while comfortable, feels very low to the ground, since it's only a mattress on the ground. It looks like a small hospital room, with one window behind me, sheets acting as walls, and one white wall painted in the 's nothing monitoring my physical state mechanically that I can see, but there might be some magic depending on where I am. It feels very strange for me to be here, especially since I'm still just in grey suit pants and a blank black shirt (suit pants are comfy, sue me). Might as well walk out and see where this gets me.
Outside the tiny curtains, it leads directly into a large hallway covered in those paper shoji doors, the really thin Japanese ones, except they're acting more as walls than doors and don't open when I try to force them. Eventually, someone finds me, and I see this.

That is one strong man, walking towards me with a very large sword. Eventually he sees me and leads me outside, where I can see my location. I'm in Kyoto, the largest gathering of yokai in the world. I'm being led to a small meeting room in a separate building down a few alleyways and come to see a kappa waiting for me, the water in his head rippling with every tiny movement his frail limbs make.

I guess the game felt it had no need to tell me any more information
"It's been awhile since someone came to me. This one met my specifications Kazuya?"
He sounds old, yet hopeful. I'm glad Sylvan transferred to Japanese. His voice is strained, as if he had been shouting for help for thousands of years and finally someone has come and is willing to listen to his plight. Kazuya's voice has a different kind of old. Someone that has already fought, and is recalling his glory days in his mind while his voice carries the nostalgia for a simpler time, while still being wholly focused on the present
"Yes, Momonga-sama, He was falling out of a hole in the sky, somehow survived the dimensional gap. It seems like we might finally have a lead with a non-human peaking Red's interest."
"Very well, you may go. I must speak to our newest curiosity"

While I can't tell what exactly these do, it seems useful and there isn't a way to refuse.
"Now that we are alone, I have a few questions if you do not mind. First of all, where did you come from, and do you know what we just experienced?"
With the first words that come out of my mouth I realize I still have that deep morning voice, with a still dry throat since waking up and the springtime seeming weather doing no wonders on my allergies. I responded in the same language he spoke to me in, but it wouldn't have been an issue in any case but it's out of respect.
"Based on that question, I can assume I don't seem very local. That man, Kazuya, said I fell out of the sky? And it had something to do with a dragon?"
"Every so often, someone comes falling out of the dimensional gap. I always want to see each one, to see if our gods were out there, but they all say no, They all end up too ambitious, challenging gods for their titles and dying before accomplishing much. They all say they know our fates, are sidetracked by one difference to their 'canon' and fall apart. You're different, however, not a human like the rest were, and since you have a connection to us, maybe they are where you're from. And take my advice here, don't try to become a devil, for some reason that's always a common thread with them, and it always ends poorly. But I'm getting off topic here. We think that the only way for all of those that arrive to survive was for Great Red to get bored and bring you here himself."
So they get new reincarnators who die from their ambitions all the time, strange. I'm giving him this body's backstory. Don't ask for it, I'm saying it now anyways.
"In my world, the only gods are the shinto one-"
That drew a gasp from Momonga, could it be?
Insight check passed!
"Are they gone here?" I ask, waiting.
"Yes, boy, they used to appear at shrines, give advice to our leaders, demonstrate their strengths, but have been gone for a thousand years. 12 years ago, Amaterasu came back and said they all made a new reality, until she was killed and replaced."
"I'm from that she died, the light of the sun by a malevolent god named Azuramot, that brought something he called the Azure Star. It essentially gave all humanoids that opposed him super cancer and literally melted their flesh with direct exposure. The few people that were immune were always rumored to have been his worshippers, allowing them to continue life as normal, while others were protected by other gods. I and a few of my compatriots set out 2 years ago to put the sun back together and kill Azuramot. We succeeded, and after falling asleep after the party, I'm here, back down to my strength at age 11, the day I started training with the monks of Takemikazuchi. I assume that most people that arrive think that all the pantheons are still around, while some have left for their own realities."

Level Up!
Monk 2
Ki: 2/2
HP: 17/17
Respec: User can spend one hour to reset themselves to level one of any class with all of their EXP. Can only be used once a week, and can further evolve. The user cannot change their Race, Base Statistics, Background, Base Proficiencies, or Alignment. If user has taken feats that require class features as prerequisites, they will lose as many levels as possible without removing those features.
Grant PC Status: Exactly what it says on the tin. User can, once per month, grant someone the status of a Player Character, with their own sheet, EXP, and potentially separate questlines. That separate user only has access to their own sheet, and while they may have unique abilities and grow stronger faster, they will reach a cap in their skill ceiling and be unable to learn abilities outside of their race, magic items including sacred gears, or DND5E without meeting the prerequisites for a feat that the User would, including Touki requiring the Ki Empowered Strikes class feature. Some racial features are restricted behind levels, classes, or abilities (EX. the Power of Destruction replaces the level 14 Fiend Warlock subclass feature Hurl Through Hell for anyone that has it in their blood, same with locking Sea Serpent of the End behind Fathomless Warlock or Storm Sorcerer level 14)
Wow, that's quite a lot from one conversation. Momonga continues speaking, so I don't have the time right now to fully analyze the potential of these abilities, but it definitely creates allies for myself.
"It seems as though you have been through much, boy. And you need to get back to your prime. Lady Yasaka is strong, certainly, but our faction needs more power than only she can provide in order to protect ourselves in the future, despite the supposed peace. I cannot help you, I'm about 3000 years past my prime but maybe you can help make some friends with the rest of the populace. Ask Kazuya to help find a few oni to spar with, they'll want to meet a kitsune that can throw a punch. Imagine the looks on their faces when you ask to fight, and instead of casting some fireball you run straight ahead!"
"Well, I suppose I'd best follow your advice, sir. Thank you for the insight."
"Eh, you figured most of it out yourself, go, I'm tired of talking." And with that, he turns around and looks out at the scenery around him, tranquil in its presence. I take my cue to leave, but before I can ask, Kazuya is already leading me down through the alleyways. I never realize how bright the sun is, mostly since Akari is still being incorporated into me, and he'e been used to the dull glow of the Azure star since he was two. I'm brought to a large, ancient styled castle, with parabola roofs and thin walls and bamboo floors tucked away in a forest outside the city. Kazuya, sensing that his mission was done I guess, turns, likely to go back to Momonga and either wait or train. Inside is a girl about my age, with white hair and red horns with a massive black kanabo, at a staggering 8'8".
I know this person. She isn't supposed to be here. Is this another change? Characters I know that don't belong?

And that's chapter 1. Pretty decent probably? A lot easier to write than Pokemon, since I don't need to keep track of all of the party, but instead just a few PC's that Akari decides to bring along.
The chapter schedule really is determined by if I can get away with writing it in class, so expect more regular updates once things like exam review starts later this month.
Note: I might want some suggestions for pairings or PC's in the future. I might also R63 some people, including the women. Yes it's the land of the banoongas, but what if we turn the harem anime into yaoi?
