This chapter is a bit disturbing since it involves children. So, just a bit of a warning.
Chapter 66- Cops and Mobsters
Sonny answered the door to find Herman standing there wearing coveralls.
"Hello," Herman said. "I'm here to look at your pipes."
Sonny grunted. "Oh yeah, we have a leak. I'll show you." He led him through the living room to the kitchen. "It's right here under the sink."
Herman nodded. "I find it's sometimes further along the pipes, so I might have to move throughout the house."
"That's fine. Do what you have to do. I have some business to take care of, but my stepdaughter and nephew will be here all afternoon if you need anything."
When Sonny headed out, Herman made his way to the living room and attached a tiny camera to the mantel, then went upstairs and planted cameras in each room.
"Spencer and Josslyn will be here soon to play with you," Carly explained to the kids inside Donna's room.
"Okay Mommy," Donna said.
Wiley held Amelia on his lap on the floor and handed her a stuffed rabbit.
Herman walked in the doorway. "Hello, I just need to check the pipes in here." He walked over to the bookshelf.
"And Avery, Mama Ava will be picking you up in a little while," Carly added.
"Okay, Mama Carly," Avery said.
Herman placed a tiny camera on one of the books and left.
"Daddy is working this afternoon, and I have to go talk to Michael. Have fun, guys." She went downstairs.
Donna looked at Avery. "If your mommy is picking you up soon, we should play now."
"Oh yeah."
"Play what?" Wiley asked.
"Cops and Mobsters." Donna kneeled over and pulled out her box.
"I'm going to get one of Daddy's guns too, then I can play Dante." Avery skipped off to their parents' room.
"Okay, I'll play Daddy," Donna said. "Wiley, you play Cyrus and Amelia can one of the lady policemans."

Maxie brought Esme and Ace home and found Felicia in the living room. She went over and hugged them.
"Are you okay?" Felicia asked.
Esme nodded. "I'm sorry. I'll try not to do that anymore."
"I'm sorry you felt you couldn't come to me," Felicia said.
"I'm just scared. I really don't want to lose Ace."
"I know," Felicia said. "But I'm working to make sure that doesn't happen." She looked at Maxie. "Thank you for bringing her home."
"No problem. We had a good talk." She winked at Esme.
Felicia smiled. "Oh, I like this development."
"Maxie said she'll testify on my behalf at the hearing," Esme said.
"That's a great idea."
"Mom, what's this about you and Mac having a baby?" Maxie set her hands on her hips.
Felicia gawked at her. "What? We're not having a baby."
Maxie sighed in relief. "Oh, thank God."
"You're not?" Esme asked.
Felicia laughed. "No. I went through menopause a long time ago."
Esme's face lit up and she hugged her. "This is the best news ever."
"I concur," Maxie said.
Felicia cleared her throat. "I would love to know why you girls thought I was pregnant…. I hope I haven't put on weight…. But Frankie, Spencer is coming over any minute to take Ace for a visit."
"What?" Esme shook her head and held Ace close. "No. No. He can't take him."
"I'm sorry, sweetie. It'll only be until after dinner. I'm apprehensive about it too, but I talked to Mac and Nora, and they both said it's best if you send him today. If you don't, Spencer will use it against you. It'll just be temporary until this gets settled."
"I'm sure Ace will be okay," Maxie said. "And the hearing is coming up soon anyway, isn't it?"
"It's in two weeks," Felicia said.
The doorbell rang and Felicia answered. Spencer and Josslyn stood on the porch.
"Hey handsome!" Spencer spoke in a baby voice. "It's so good to see you. I've missed you."
"You're coming to play with us today, Ace," Josslyn said, then smirked at Esme. "And soon it'll be every day."
"No, it won't," Esme said. "Ace is my son."
"Not for much longer." Josslyn held her arms out. "Want to come to your new mommy?"
Ace buried his face into Esme's chest.
Felicia clenched her teeth. "We will follow the court order, but you are not referring to yourself as Ace's mommy. He already has a mommy."
"I'll take him." Spencer pulled Ace out of Esme's arms and he wailed.
"Mommy loves you, Ace," Esme said as they left.

Sonny walked along the waterfront with Brick.
"Any update on our missing shipments?" Sonny asked.
"Yes, actually," Brick said. "I caught someone on camera."
"Who is he?"
"Some middle-aged man. But he wasn't alone."
"No?"
"There was a woman with him."
"What did she look like?" Sonny asked.
"I know who she was. And you know her too."
"Who is she?"
"It was Nelle Bens—"
"Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" Up ahead at the pier, Cyrus waved a Bible as a young couple passed by him and went up the stairs.
Sonny's lips formed a thin line. "Did you see the man working with Nelle?"
"It was hard to make him out," Brick said. "But he had grey hair."
Sonny walked over to Cyrus.
"Ah, Sonny," Cyrus said. "1 John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness."
Sonny pulled out his gun and pointed it at him. "You and Nelle are going to pay for stealing my shipments."

Carly smiled when Spencer and Josslyn walked in with a crying Ace.
"Hi there, Ace." Carly rubbed his arm. "I'm your new grandma."
"He never used to cry this way with me," Spencer said. "It's because Esme's kept him from me so long."
Carly shook her head. "That girl has is a viper. Don't worry, Ace. You'll get used to us."
Herman peeked out at them from the kitchen.
"Anyway, I need to head out," Carly said. "Thanks for watching them again. I'll be home by dinnertime."
When Carly left, Spencer rocked Ace in his arms. "Come on, buddy. We're going to have fun today."
"He might calm down if he goes up to play with the other kids," Josslyn suggested. She touched his arm. "Then we could continue from last night."
Spencer grinned. "I like the sound of that. But I've missed Ace."
"We'll still have plenty of time to play with him. But I'm certain the other kids will help him calm down. Then we can play with him later."
Spencer nodded. "Okay, Mrs. Jacks-Cassadine." He kissed her, then they headed upstairs.
Avery slipped the second gun inside her pocket. "Okay, how do we start?"
"Well, I'm playing Daddy and—Josslyn!" Donna set her shoebox down on the bed and hugged her.
Wiley got up and hugged her too. "Hi Auntie Josslyn."
"Hey guys, whatcha doing?" Josslyn asked.
"We're going to play Cops and Mobsters," Avery said.
"And I'm playing Daddy," Donna said.
"I'm Cyrus," Wiley said. "Whoever that is. And Amelia is going to be a lady policeman named Jordan."
"Yeah and I'm going to be Dante," Avery added.
Josslyn smiled. "That sounds fun. Can Ace join you?"
"Who's Ace?" Wiley asked. "And why is he crying?"
"This is my baby brother," Spencer said.
"Soon to be our son," Josslyn said. "He's crying because he's missed Spencer."
"Ace can play," Donna said. "He can play Brick."
"Great idea," Josslyn said.
Spencer set Ace down on the floor beside Amelia, and he threw himself backwards. Spencer sat him up and propped up some pillows behind him.
"Have fun." Josslyn grabbed Spencer's hand and ran downstairs with him.
"Okay, Avery… or should I say Dante…." Donna giggled. "Take Jordan outside with you, and after I take care of Cyrus, you can come in and try to arrest me."
"Okay." Avery picked up Amelia and went out to the hallway.
Donna pushed a chair to the middle of the room, then put a pink bag over Wiley's head.
"I can't breathe!" Wiley cried.
"It's only for a minute," Donna said, then pulled on his arm and pushed him hard onto the chair.
"Ow…."
Donna yanked the bag off his head. "Where is my shipments, Cyrus?"
Wiley's mouth hung open. "Huh?"
"You stole it from me and I want it back."
"Stole what?"
Donna squinted at him. "My Barbies."
"Eww…. I don't like Barbies."
"Wiley, you're supposed to be Cyrus."
"Oh. I mean, yeah I took them!"
"That was really mean," Donna said. "If you don't give them back, then you can never see your family again. And we will protect your kids from you too."
"I don't have kids."
Donna glared at him.
"I mean… okay, I'll give them back."
"Wiley, you're supposed to say you won't."
"Oh, okay. I won't!"
Donna reached inside her shoebox and pulled out the gun. "You are a very bad mobster, Cyrus."
Wiley stared at the gun.

Carly walked up to the gatehouse but stopped outside when her phone dinged. She looked at the text and saw an attachment from an unknown caller. She opened it to reveal a picture of the Wicked Witch of the West locked in a padded room.
GHGHGH
Dante held Sam's hand when they left Bobbie's. "It's such a nice afternoon."
Sam smiled. "It is. Want to walk by the waterfront before we head home?"
"That's a great idea." They headed over to the stairs and saw Sonny at the bottom, pointing his gun at Cyrus.
GHGHGH
Spencer rolled over and held Josslyn in his arms.
"That was amazing," Spencer said. "You're honestly the best I've ever had."
"You're not so bad yourself, Spencer," Josslyn said.
"I could lay here all day," Spencer said. He groaned when there was a knock at the door.
"Just ignore it," Josslyn said and kissed him again.
After a few minutes, Ava walked in. "Just what are you doing? Where is my daughter?"
Josslyn sat up quickly with the blanket. "Oh, she's upstairs playing. We were just…."
"I have eyes, don't I? I can see what you're doing. You better be dressed by the time I bring Avery down." She stomped up the stairs.
GHGHGH
"It's gorgeous out," Martin said as he walked with Laura along the waterfront. "We should do this more often."
Laura nodded.
"Are you all right?" Martin asked.
Laura sighed. "I'm just so worried about my grandchildren. Charlotte is acting off again, I think Spencer is losing it, and I worry that by him going for custody of Ace that I'll never get to see Ace again."
Martin rubbed her back. "I'm sure everything will be fine." They turned a corner and saw Sonny pointing a gun at Cyrus.
"I did not steal your ship—"
Bang!
Sonny shot Cyrus in the head.
GHGHGH
Bang!
Avery got the gun ready and pushed the door open. She screamed when she saw Wiley topple over onto the floor, blood gushing from his head. Her hand jerked upward and her finger pulled down.
Bang!
Avery dropped the gun and turned around to find her mom standing there, blood spilling from her chest. Ava dropped to the floor.
Both babies screamed.
"What's going on? What's going on?" Spencer and Josslyn rushed upstairs, their clothes hastily put on. They stared at Ava and Wiley with pale faces.
