Eddie and Donovan are curled up together, watching American Gods. Since the barrier broke, the teams, especially Eddie and Donovan, have struggled to adjust. The two have been stumbling to get people to listen to them. The 118 and 20-David Squad are trying to show them their support, but it's driving Eddie and Donovan crazy. They ran to one of their safe houses to get away from people. As they're watching American Gods, they hear a knocking and groan.

"I got it," Donovan tells the younger man. He looks outside to see Mumford and Tommy. Eddie knows that Buck has Christopher, who returned after the barrier broke. When their friends and family saw their memories, the painful and traumatic experiences they went through, it was Buck who shoved Eddie behind him when Helena and Ramon came to LA with their grandson. Buck has seen at least two mental breakdowns from Eddie and refuses to leave his side.

"Mumford and Tommy are at the door," Donovan tells Eddie. The younger man had moved to the kitchen to get them food and drinks. His head bobbed out with a confused look on his face. Donovan smiles at how young he is. When they went to the moon, Donovan was twelve, and Eddie was four. It was evil. What they went through was cruel. Erika and Buck made sure to tell them that.

"What do you want to do?" Eddie asks, ready to follow Donovan's lead. Donovan sighs and lets the two in. Mumford lets Tommy in first, who pulls Donovan into a warm hug, a silent reassurance of Donovan's safety. Mumford sees Eddie's head in the doorway and smiles. He walks over and pulls him into a comforting hug, which surprises Eddie, as the two have never met until now. The younger man hugs back, feeling the warmth of a dad's comfort.

"How are you doing, kiddo?" Jack, Donovan's father figure, asks the group's baby, his voice filled with concern. Eddie sinks into Jack's comfort, feeling the protective aura that Jack always exudes. Eddie knows enough about the man from Donovan to know Mumford is a safe person. Eddie needs a new, safe person, as Buck is dealing with the others right now.

"Okay," Eddie tells him. Jack can see how tired the man is and will give Eddie's people a piece of his mind. Jack will protect Eddie as Donovan sees Eddie as a little brother. Once the two release, Tommy hugs Eddie, and Jack reaches for Donovan, his protective nature evident in his every move.

"Dad," Donovan murmurs, and Jack holds him tight, knowing that Donovan is about to break.

"I got you, kiddo. I got you," Jack tells him. Donovan starts crying. Eddie tries to bury himself in Tommy. Tommy guides him to the kitchen, turning off the stove and then to the couch. Tommy holds Eddie as he cries. Jack guides Donovan to the other couch and holds him. The men find comfort in their family.

"How did you find us?" Donovan asks them. Mumford plays with Donovan's curly hair, and Tommy gently scratches Eddie's scalp.

"The 50-David members have your location with concern, and Buck asked me to check on Eddie. Rogers wanted to come, but Commander Hicks needed their help with Nuzyosan and MangroveClan. Mumford wanted to check on you," Tommy says to them. Eddie paws at him, causing Tommy to smile. If Eddie were a creature, he would be a cat. Mumford chuckles as Donovan does the same to him. Both are cat creatures who want to be loved on.

"Yes, Eddie?" Tommy's tone is amusing and caring.

"Buck? Chris?" Eddie asks, worry in his tone. Tommy kisses his forehead.

"Buck told your parents off and got your family not to contact you until you are ready, and Chris feels guilty for not letting you talk. Helena and Ramon have returned to El Paso, and your Abuela is staying with Pepa. She wants to see how you are doing. Buck refuses to let people contact you. Bobby split the 118 up. Hen's at the 125, Howie's at the 205, you are with me, and Evan's at the 134. The Chiefs and Bobby want you to train Sylvain Vandecasteele and Nathália Fontes. I'm taking all the courses I can to fly better to help you," Tommy informs them. Eddie looks at him with wide eyes and confusion.

"This isn't on you, Eddie. Bobby's being a dad, wanting to make sure that his kids get what they need to succeed," Mumford tells the man. Tommy smiles gratefully at him. Eddie hides his face.

"Rogers is concerned about you, so she kept your location on her phone. She refuses to let Hondo have your new number. She's a good one," Mumford informs his son. Erika Rogers is a good leader in training and officer. Donovan is lucky to have her.

"Commander Hicks?" Donovan asks. Mumford holds him close.

"He's figuring out with the Chiefs how to train the new recruits with the barrier gone. The Brasses for Fire and Police are figuring out how to help everyone. They are also going to try to recruit the supernatural among the ranks. You trained some great cops who are teaching other good cops," Mumford says. Donovan nods in understanding.

"Do we have to go back right now?" Eddie asks them, and Tommy picks up the remote and plays American Gods. Mumford and Tommy see the two pass out on them.

"Can I ask you something, Mumford?" Tommy asks the older man. Mumford hums, making Tommy know that he can ask him anything.

"Will they ever be open?" Tommy asks, worrying about his twin and friend.

"No. They're never going to be open. They went through something cruel. And they went through it alone with each other. They will be open when needed but can't talk about their past without struggling. They're stronger than we know, and that's impressive. However, they're human. We want to help them but don't know how. So we will be there for them whenever they need us. That's what we can do," Mumford tells him. The two hold the two sleeping men and watch Basketball.
