Sweating Through the Heated Study Sessions

Mamori is panting heavily as she is running the best, she could almost like she is running through a marathon with sweat pouring in from her head to her face.

"So hot… I can't… this is too much…" Mamori exclaimed and having trouble breathing some too.

"Be strong, Mamori! You can make it through!" Nate encouraged the red hair girl to keep going while running past Mamori.

"But it's… it's too hard…" Mamori struggled to keep herself up when all the energy in her body is fading away faster than her feet are moving.

"Come now, you don't want people to start calling you the sweaty rotten tomato girl because that would be worse than being call virgin girl." Kimi pointed out as she ran past Mamori.

"No, no, I don't want that!" Mamori agreed, at least that name felt a little less insulting.

"Don't worry, you got just one more laps to go. You can do this, Mamori!" Azuma smiled running past her.

"Thank you! I… I'll try my best!" Mamori thanked panting, but she is slowing down some more.

"Do you need any help, Mamori?" Mirei asked, slow down herself to run alongside the cute little red hair girl.

"No, no, you don't… need to… worry about… me…" Mamori felt her body finally gave in to exhaustion and fell over with face-first to the track. And Makiko blew the whistle.

"Tokonome, this can't be all you got since the finish line is just 20 feet away to finishing this." Makiko yelled and pointed at the finish line.

"I'm sorry, but… I don't think my body can move any longer." Mamori apologized exclaiming.

"I knew you shouldn't have stayed up all night to watch that marathon of Queen's Blade." Mirei sighed, regretting not talking Mamori out of watching that anime marathon. But she couldn't resist Mamori's cuteness.

"But it was a good anime show, I just wish they did more episodes on that Unlimited series as it was getting really good." Mamori complained a bit.

"Okay, enough with the anime talk. You need to focus on your physical body which is why we have these P.E. classes, try to remember that." Makiko grabbed Mamori by the back of her gym shirt and lifted her up to be forced back on her two feet.

"Just go cross the finish line and you're done. But I don't to see any slacking off next time, got it?" Makiko scolded.

"Yes, ma'am!" Mamori nodded and then powered walk crossing the finish line.

"Done!" Mamori stopped and held herself up by the knees as Mirei suddenly appeared in front of her. Mirei ran too and crossed the finish line before Mamori.

"Would it be alright if I take her to nurse's office? I wanna make sure she didn't catch anything else besides exhaustion." Mirei asked permission from Makiko.

"Go ahead, we're almost done with gym class anyway." Makiko shrugged.

"When exactly did you finally fall asleep after that marathon?" Tomo asked curiously.

"Huh, let see… The marathon started at 5:30pm last night, the first Queen's Blade series was 24 episodes of two seasons, then there was the squeal that was 12 episodes. And there were a few OVA episodes." Mamori tried to remember how long the marathon was.

"It was 14 hours and 40 minutes; she ended up having to staying in our room until around 9:50am." Mirei answered the question. They were lucky that they didn't get detention for being over an hour late.

"Mamori, you need to take better care of yourself." Azuma advised.

"Sorry, I guess I should've just gone to bed." Mamori said before letting out a yawn.

"Come on, we better go see the nurse." Mirei helped Mamori make her way to the nurse's office.

"I hope that teaches her a lesson to not stay up late to watch an anime show." Nate said with her hands on her hips.

"Can't help but feel the need to do something you love, we're still young with lots of things lacking until we are able to gain those experiences years later." Azuma pointed out calmly and respectfully.

"(Odd, whenever I hear him talk like that, I keep feeling like I heard those words before, and that guy seems very familiar too.)" Meifon thought tried to think why her thoughts are on Azuma right now.

"Alright everyone, class is about to end that means you can all hit the showers. Oh, and I'm sure you've already been told about this, but don't forget about studying for your finals if any of you want to have summer vacation." Makiko informed before walking away.

"Oh man, I was hoping she wouldn't mention the finals." Nimi exclaimed.

"I hear ya, I'll have to postpone my manga drawing with the studying and that's going to put me behind if I don't get a good score." Malga worried as well.

"Don't worry, Gachan, I promise we will get through these exams so we can still have summer together." Margot determined to help her best friend/future girlfriend study hard to pass.

"Do you think the studying will require us to use a machine that can give us the knowledge on the subject of these tests only to give us side effects like screaming like monkeys?" Horizon asked strangely.

Everyone just start at Horizon with their eyes widen with some thoughts in their minds like if Horizon has been watching some weird or funny TV shows, they couldn't even tell if Horizon is trying to be funny due to her never expressing any emotions on er face.

"I'm sure it's nothing like that." Kimi brushed off the idea.

"Still, there's only ten days left until the finals comes, we really need to get ready for that and no one wants to be stuck in school for the summer." Miriam pointed out.

"Just wanted to say how amazing you are with being fast despite being in a wheelchair." Azuma complimented to Miriam of how well she did during the running around the track.

"Oh, such sweet words from a man with two girlfriends. Are you planning on making me your third woman?" Miriam asked teasing the secret prince.

"No, no, no, no, it's nothing like that! I was just pointing out that you have good arms to catch up with the others in our class!" Azuma pointed out with his face being all red.

"You're so cute when blushing like that." Kimi giggled.

"It's still surprising that you ended up having two girlfriends and still trying to make things right for both of them, most boys would be all perverted with the idea of trying to ger multiple girlfriends." Suzu stated as she walks with the group to the shower.

"Unlike them, however, I focus on what actually matters in the relationship than just the bodies." Azuma stated strongly.

"Oh, then you don't mind if I do…" Kim smirked.

Before anyone could react to what Kimi was about to do, she grabs both hands of Azuma and places one on her own breast and the other hand on Tomo's breast.

This causes everyone to gasp in shock, especially to Azuma with his face turning redder than before and steam puffs out of his head like a steam train.

"GOTTAGETCLEANBYE!" Azuma ran off for his own private shower, since he is the only boy on the island.

"I cannot… What in God's name is wrong with you?" Tomo asked blushing hard.

"Nothing, I just wanted to see if Azuma is interested in getting more girlfriends." Kimi shrugged.

"I'm so glad I can't see of what just happened." Suzu said, yet her face blushes on what she might put together on what happened.

(Nurse's Office)

"Here, a little tea to help you." Rain offered to Mamori.

"Thank you." Mamori accepted the tea and drank it, feeling relax and calm.

"Be sure to get back on your regular sleep and try to avoid marathons from now on." Lady J advised.

"Okay." Mamori nodded.

"You're also going to need some sleep for you to study for the finals coming up." Rain mentioned in case the lack of sleep made Mamori forget that.

"Oh yeah, that's gonna be a bit of a headache." Mamori exclaimed a bit.

"Not to worry, perhaps we can ask Azuma to help us study for the exams." Mirei suggested getting help from Azuma.

"I guess that's alright, I just hope he doesn't mind." Mamori worried about bothering him.

"Don't worry about it. Azuma is the kind of boy who is always willing to lend a hand to those who need help even to those he doesn't know personally. Such a cute boy scout." Lady J explained about Azuma.

"Huh, it sounds like you know Azuma more than you led on." Mirei commented on that.

"Just a little something we picked up on whenever we see him." Rain chuckled.

Mirei and Mamori look at each other in confusion, wondering if there is more them knowing Azuma than what they just heard, but decided not to question on that as they need to back to class.

(After School)

Azuma has just gotten his regular shoes from the shoe lockers and Inian came walking up to him.

"Hey Azuma, we're still on for our study session at your room?" Inian asked.

"Yeah, you know I'm always free." Azuma nodded.

"Then I hope you don't mind a couple of extra packages coming along." Charlotte walked up to them.

Azuma and Inian turn to see Charlotte with her face look a little annoyed like something happened to make her feel this way, Charlotte stands aside to allow Aoi and Momoko as both have deep depressions on their faces which concerns Azuma.

(Azuma's Room)

"You need help with studying?" Azuma asked after what Aoi and Momoko.

"We do, please help us." They answered together with their heads down to the floor.

"Those two always have a hard time studying, so distracted to their favorite things like hanging out at the beach and other nonsense I don't want to go into the details." Charlotte explained on that part.

"She's right, and it's because of how we are is the reason we got held back a year." Momoko said.

"Ever since we lasted to move on last year, we were devastated that we couldn't become third years and realize what we've been fucking up our life in high school." Momoko explained.

"So, we promise to not fail ourselves again and get better grades to pass this year and make it to third year of Valkyrie Drive High!" Aoi determined as Momoko roars.

"Wow, you two actually have something serious to look forward too." Inian surprised.

"Yes, except they keep distracting themselves with other things." Charlotte pointed out; this causes both girls to throw down their heads in shame.

"We decided to ask Charlotte if she could help us study for the exam since she's one of the few stops ten students with really good grades to help idiots like us." Momoko mentioned.

"But when she mentioned about forming a study group with Azuma, we wanted join in as well." Aoi said.

"They said something about the more people there are, the more chance it'll help them pass." Charlotte shrugged.

"Please! Let us study with you!" Aoi and Momoko begged.

"Of course, I would be happy to help out anyone when they're in trouble." Azuma nodded with a kind smile.

"Somehow, I knew you were going to say that." Charlotte said sarcastically.

"So, let's crack open these books and we can get to studying!" Azuma gestured at the books in front of himself on the coffee table.

"How are you, some drinks to help keep your head cool." Musashi passed around the ice-cold drinks.

"I hope the weather doesn't become too hot for us; I only deal with that relaxing on the beach." Momoko worried a little.

"I wouldn't worry about that; we have the AC working and things should be fine in the next ten days." Azuma believed.

"You should all wear some light clothing than your school uniform for extra measures." Musashi advised before going back to the kitchen.

"I know things are going to be intense for the next few days." Charlotte said.

"How intense can a simple study session be?" Inian asked.

(Two Hours Later)

"No, no, no! That's wrong, the X is supposed to go over there." Charlotte scolded Aoi for getting the answer wrong.

"I'm so sorry!" Aoi cried.

"Wait, how do water make rocks smaller again?" Momoko confused as she looks at her papers.

"I think it has something to do with the mass being broken down little by little." Inian guessed, but she was just as confused as Momoko was on this subject.

"Okay, I believe I am done with the history subject." Azuma said, placing down his papers.

"I have to say, you're really doing well with your studying. Have your parents ever helped you with something like this or did they hire a tutor?" Charlotte asked, being impressed with how well Azuma is doing right now.

"You could say it's a little bit of both. My parents wanted me to be ready for anything in case something becomes too hard for me, but I was always grateful for all they have done for me." Azuma explained.

In truth, Azuma actually had many tutors to not only help him with the academic skills but also other things like martial arts and crafting and some art along the way. It's one of the trainings for young royals such as himself to do in order to be ready when he ascend the throne, the parents would also bring teaching him their own special skills as well.

"Okay, so how about this one?" Momoko showed her answer of English to Charlotte.

"Hmm, it's getting a little better. But you forgot to put the common behind that word and you should change these two words into one, not to mention you pile all that together instead of separating them into paragraphs." Charlotte pointed out the flaws.

"Why exactly do we need to study English in the first place if we're not even going to America in the first place." Aoi asked.

"Just to be prepared if we ever do go to America for a vacation or something else, I guess. Though personally, I planned on going there for a special vacation with Azuma and Inian." Charlotte grinned before bellowing a kiss at Azuma making him blush.

"Would it be nice to have everyone in the world understand each other in a way even though we speak in our homeland's tongue?" Inian asked smiling.

"That could help communication with each other better." Azuma smiled.

"Hey, what time is it?" Aoi asked.

"Hmm, it's about five after 6:30." Azuma informed, looking at the time on his phone.

"Damn, it's already that late." Aoi shocked of the time.

"Do you mind if we call it a day? I think our brains are already feeling enough headaches from all this studying, but I think that's good in a way." Aoi stated as she stretches her arms.

"Yeah, we can pick this up tomorrow. If that's okay with you, Azuma." Momoko looked at Azuma, hoping he doesn't mind that they come back to his place to continue their study sessions.

"Sure, my door is always open for anyone to enter." Azuma nodded.

"Guess it's time to go then." Charlotte said.

All four girls leave the room, Charlotte and Inian each giving him goodbye kiss, and Azuma waves goodbye to them.

"Man, studying hard is rough for them, I know how that feels back home." Azuma said before closing the door.

"Master Azuma, I'm going to prepare several more drinks for tomorrow." Musashi informed.

"Several more drinks, but what for? It's just the four of them coming back." Azuma wondered.

"Just a gut feeling that more will come to seek studying with you." Musashi answered.

"Come on, I'm sure it's just gonna be them tomorrow." Azuma believed.

(The Next Day)

"Thank you for having us!" Kimi, Tomo, Suzu, Nate, Momoka, Horizon, Mirei, Mamori, Faibu, Nimi, Noe, Malga, and Margot thanked in reunion.

"Sorry, they asked and came to join us." Inian apologized.

"You were saying?" Musashi asked while Azuma is shocked to see several more girls have come.

"Well, the more the merrier as they say." Azuma chuckled nervously.

Everyone enters the room and got started on their study sessions, each helping each other on some of the subjects they do seem to understand and try to make the studying fun.

Summer vacation is coming for Azuma and the girls as they need to pass their final exams in order to not get stuck in summer school, and it looks like Azuma is gonna have his work cut out for him with helping this many girls, but he'd still be happy to do so.
