Hello there, welcome fellow Rangers to the next chapter of Power Rangers Legacy II: Dino Hope.

It was a warm sunny afternoon when Ana visited her brother. Each with an ice cream cone, the Morgenstern twins walked around Amber Park catching up with each other. Henry was just finished explaining how everything had ended with Marc after Ana had to go home for work.
"Wait..." Ana said with a raised eyebrow, "You actually befriended the guy? The same one who soloed eight Rangers."
"Hey, it was all a big misunderstanding. Marc is actually a pretty cool guy." Henry said pointed out, "Say, doesn't the name Marc sound familiar."
"It's not like Marc is a common name." Ana said with a shrug, "I believe mom's dad was also named Marc."
"What a coincidence." Henry muttered, "...Is it weird he had a mom also named Gia?"
"Now that is odd." Ana said, "But it's not like he's our time traveling grandpa."
"Well then mom has a massive Electra complex. Because Marc has more than a passing resemblance to dad." Henry scoffed, "Time travel? Now that would be weird."
As they finished their ice creams, the two noticed some construction workers, using a machine to lift a pallet with sandbags. He was surprised when he saw Kendall walking towards them. He was about to wave when a cable snapped and the pallet with the sandbags came swinging down. Henry's eyes widen when he saw it would hit Kendall.
From Henry's point of view, the world around him came to a near stop as time slowed down. Henry ran over to her, lifting Kendall up in his arm bridal style, he moved her out of harms way. Time resumed and Kendall looked around surprised that she found herself so quickly in those two strong arms.
"Don't worry." Henry said gently, "I got you."
"Henry..." she said confused before turning annoyed, "Just put me down."
"Okay, chill." Henry said as he did just that, "Your awfully angry for someone who's life I just saved."
"You didn't save my life, not really." Kendall said, gesturing to the construction workers, who where just Koda, Chase, Riley and Ivan in disguise.
"Okay..." Henry said confused as his twin sister came walked up, "What's going on?"
"We're trying to find a hero to bond with the Purple Energem." Kendall said showing of the object in her purse, "An unbonded Energem can be very dangerous."
"If you say so." Henry said turning to the crane, "Hey Koda."
"Hey Henry!" Koda said with a wave, "Hi Henry's sister."
"Hey Koda! Also hello everyone." Ana said before turning to the short brunette, "Hey Kendall. I got your message."
"It's Ms. Morgan." Kendall said annoyed.
"Oh, what kind of message are you sharing with my sister?" Henry said with an interested smile, "Is it about me?"
"...Why would I willingly be talking about you." Kendall said annoyed, "No, I need you and your sister's Energem for an experiment."
"And what sort of experiment would that be, Ms. Morgan?" Ivan said.
"Something I have been wanting to try my hand at for a while now." she said.
"Oh, how vaguely mysterious." Henry said, "I also have something I need you people for, but that can wait until tomorrow."
They attempted it all day, but not a single one was fit to bond with the purple Energem.
The Morgenstern twins had grabbed a few snacks and drinks as they watched the failed attempts. Though the younger twin claimed it was to see Kendall's plan fail, in truth his sister knew he did because he wanted to make sure Kendall wouldn't come to harm.
"What do we do now Kendall?" Koda said once they called it a day.
"We keep trying." Kendall said confidently, "I don't know or when but we will find someone worthy."
The group walked through the park where a few stalls where set up, the usual food and drinks as well as a fortunetelling stall.
"Discover secrets, find romance, with my wish cards!" the woman inside the stall said before turning her attention to the group, "You there, tall, dark and handsome. What do you desire? Money?", gesturing to Henry.
"No, thanks." Henry said casually, "I'm pretty well off."
"What about love?" she suggested.
"I'm satiated on that front as well." Henry said with a smile.
"Well... Anything is possible with my wish cards." the woman said, gesturing to her inventory.
"Wishing cards?" Riley said with a raised eyebrow, "No thanks, we're not superstitious."
"I am super squishiness!" Koda said, pushing his short friend aside so he could write his wish.
"And I could use all the help I can get!" Chase said, pushing Riley aside as well.
The second push would have send Riley tumbling to the ground, if he wasn't caught by the much taller Ana.
"You okay?" Ana said kindly, putting him back on his feet.
"Yeah, I'm fine." he said with a nod, "Thanks."
"Hey, witch." Ivan said to the younger Morgenstern twin, "Does such sorcery actually work?"
"Fuck no." Henry said with a laugh.
"Henry is right." Riley said.
"When am I not?" he said with a smirk.
"Come on guys." Riley said annoyed, "Wishes don't magically come true."
That moment, Tyler and Shelby, carrying a paper bag, came walking up to them.
"Hey guys." Tyler said with a wave, "What's going on?"
"Well these guys are writing down their whishes." Henry said, "Because they think the gypsy is a Djinn."
"Henry!" Shelby said shocked.
"I know right!" Henry said with a raised hand, "She doesn't sound anything like Robin Williams, so she obviously she isn't a Djinn!"
"You can't just say gypsy!" Shelby said.
"Why not?" Henry said confused, "It's not like it's a slur or anything like Ni..."
"Anyway..." Shelby interrupted him before turning to everyone's favorite caveman, "Oh hey Koda, got you the tropical burger." handing him the paper bag to him.
"That was my wish!" Koda said happily opening the bag as he started to devour the burger.
"No, no, no. That's not magic." Riley pointed out, "You always wish for a burger."
"So, Chase." Ana said to the skater boy, "What was your wish?"
Before their friend could answer, a pretty brunette with skater gear, walked past before she noticed Chase and his skateboard.
"Hey." the girl said walking up to them, "Is that a kiwi on your skateboard?"
"But that's a bird." Henry said, "A kiwi is a fruit."
"Both are a kiwi." Kendall said.
"You certainly know your birds." Chase said impressed.
"Oh, your New Zeeland accent." the girl said with a smile, "It's so cute."
"You want to go to the skatepark?" Chase offered with a cheeky grin.
"Sure." the girl said as they started to walk away, "As long as you keep talking."
"Okay, it must be magic." Henry said as they watched them go, "I mean the average person would think it's Australian."
The following day, the Rangers were sitting at the table in the meeting room, where Henry was hooking up a laptop to the televisions screen.
"Why are we all here?" Riley said.
"Well I'm sick and tired of all these vile rumors that I was not Valedictorian of my year." Henry said annoyed, "So I asked Ana to ask mom if she still had a video of it."
"She did by the way." Ana said.
"Let's watch the tape!" Henry said dramatically before putting the video on.
On the screen it showed the Football Field of Harwood County High. The families and friends of the graduated had gathered in front of a stage.
A younger Henry, wearing his graduation gown and a sash with Valedictorian over his upper body, stepped up to the podium in front of all the students and family's.
"Good morning esteemed faculty and family of my fellow graduates. It's an honor to be standing up here today." Henry said as he began the speech, "Blood alone moves the wheels of history! Have you ever asked yourselves in an hour of meditation, which everyone finds during the day, how long we have been striving for greatness? Not only the years we've been at war! The war of work! But from the moment as a child, when we realize that the world could be conquered. It has been a lifetime struggle, a never ending fight. I say to you and you will understand that it is a privilege to fight! We are warriors! Students of Harwood County, once more rise and be worthy of this historical hour! No revolution is worth anything unless it can defend itself!"
"I can't believe it." Kendall said with wide eyes, "He was the Valedictorian."
"Yeah, the only reason he wanted to was because he wanted to give that speech." Ana pointed out, "When mom found out, she didn't know how to feel about it either."
"That is such a Henry thing to do." Shelby said.
Henry smirked just as he got a call, "Hold on a second."
He picked it up, listening to the caller as he nodded his head. "I'll be right there. Yeah, the others are here, I'll inform them." he said before hanging up, "We have been invited to lunch by Phillip."
"Your quarter?" Koda said before he grimace.
"Yes, Koda, my quarter just called me..." Henry said dryly before becoming concerned, "You okay there buddy?"
"Burger..." Koda groaned as he had an upset stomach, "Not feeling so good."
"Well I can't." Chase said as he stood up, "I got a date at the skate park."
"And I am covering Chase's shift." Ivan said.
"Me and Riley are looking for a candidate for the Purple Energem." Kendall said.
"So it's just me, Tyler, Shelby and Ana... Alrighty then!" Henry said before putting on his aviator glasses, "Let's go people!"
After parking Henry's yellow BMW, the group was walking towards the café the Prince of Zandar would be waiting for them.
"Hey, Shelby." Henry said as he walked next to her.
"What's up?" Shelby said.
"The lovely Amber Beach weather." he joked, "Anyways, how did it go?"
"What do you mean?" Shelby said trying to play oblivious.
"Come on, your picnic date with Tyler." Henry said with a knowing smile, "How did it go?"
"How do you even know about that?" Shelby said.
"Because I stalk all of my employees, I need to know if your talking about me behind my back." Henry said with a serious tone, "But I know about your date because I helped Tyler with the sandwiches."
"Well..." Shelby said, hanging her head low, "It was a bit of a disaster."
"Come on." he said, "It couldn't have been that bad."
"We started with blowing bubbles, but some popped in my eyes. Tyler tried to help by squeezing a little water into my eyes, but he accidentally did too much." Shelby explained, "When we sat down to eat the sandwiches, they where covered in ants. Then the date was interrupted because Tyler thought he spotted a man who he claimed was his father."
"Alright maybe it was that bad..." Henry admitted before perking up, "But don't worry, your big bro will think of something."
A little while later the four Rangers sat in the outdoor area of a lunch room, Phillips security unit at the look out. The Prince began to speak when they where served their lunch.
"Nothing is more noble than helping one's fellow man, and I wanted to help you on your mission to keep the Earth safe." Phillip said, "A couple of weeks ago... I found this." he reached into his pocket and showed the Graphite Energem.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Tyler said.
"Well, I hoped it would bond with me. I did everything I could but..." Phillip said with a deep sigh, "Clearly I'm not worthy of being a Power Ranger."
"Maybe it has something to do with your preconceptions." Ana said as she thought about it, "Is there something you hate?"
"Not really. There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures." Prince Phillip said before his face turned to a grimace, "And the Dutch."
"What." Henry said confused.
"It doesn't matter." Phillip said, "Perhaps you can find someone more fitting.", handing the Energem to Tyler.
"Thanks, Prince Phillip." Tyler said, "This means a lot."
Just before Tyler could accept the Energem, an explosion shook the café which results in the falling of the Graphite Energem into a fountain.
It was Fury along with a group of Vivix and Spikeballs
"Oh, is it that time of the week again?" Henry said looking on his watch as the other jumped up to fight. But he quickly finished his sandwich before joining in.
With Phillips security trying to protect the prince and in the chaos of the arriving aliens, the Rangers morphed and charged forward.
Red and Navy Ranger engaged into combat with Fury while Yellow and Pink took care of the Vivix and Spikeballs.
Engaging Red in sword combat, Fury began to overpower him in the blade-lock but with a powerful punch from Navy, the alien was send flying. Appearing behind him in a blur, the Yellow Ranger blasted him with his Draco Gun sending Fury into the ground.
Landing back on his feet, Fury growled in anger as he stood back up and in retaliation, blasted them with a bolts of yellow lightning.
During the fighting, Phillip noticed a young girl who had got lost in the chaos and was now in the danger zone of the battle.
Without a second thought the Prince of Zandar pushed past his bodyguards, fighting his way through a few Vivix, dodging one of the alien's attack, beating against their heads with his fist before kicking them away.
"Come with me." Phillip said, picking up the girl and savely dodging the missed lasers from the Vivix.
Arriving back at his bodyguards, Philip told the girl they would keep her save.
Navy slammed two Vivix into the ground who had attempted to attack the prince.
But to her and Phillip's surprise, a gray light emitted from the fountain, before shooting off until it reached Phillip's hand, the force knocking him to the ground. Energy shot through the Prince, showing that the Graphite Energem had decided to bond with him.
"It..." the prince said with a smile, "It chose me."
"Nice going, your highness." Navy said, holding out her and when he accepted pulling him to his feet.
"So, it's time to Morph." Phillip said with a hint of excitement as his very own Dino Charge Morpher appeared in his hand.
"It's Morphing Time." Navy Ranger corrected him, "But yes."
Putting the gem inside of it, he aimed the weapon at the monster, he said, "Unleash the power." as a wave of gray energy shot out of the barrel and enveloped him as he Morphed into the Graphite Ranger.
Losing another Energem, Fury roared in anger, in his rage he threw Red and Pink off him before engaging with Navy and Graphite.
Fury struck hard and fast, but his blade bounced off Navy's punches. Graphite jumped over Navy, bringing down his fist in a haymaker, forcing the alien back.
"This new power is great!" Graphite said.
The two Rangers battled with their fists and feet. Navy used her overbearing strength to her advantage, until Fury attempted a powerful jab at her, but the Graphite Ranger pushes her aside, allowing Fury to slice him against the side.
Not wasting the opening, she jumping onto the Fury's back and began to hammer down on him with her fist. Fury can't reach her with his arms, so he runs backwards through two buildings and leaves her embedded in a third before backing away and turning towards her.
Just as she is falling down, Fury blasted her with bolts of electricity from his sword and she flies through the building and doesn't get up.
The Graphite Ranger stood up and fight with Fury, who manages to dodge with a last-second jump, as he slash at Graphite, go for a killing thrust. But a recovered Navy stood up and tackles Fury out of the air.
As the two grapple, Graphite Ranger used his Royal Dino Punch, enveloping his fist with gray energy, his fist connecting with Fury and sending him flying.
"Enough of this!" Fury roared, "Vivix! Rise and finish the job!"
The ground shook as the remaining Vivix pilled on each other and began to melt together as they grew to giant size. With the Rangers distracted, Fury made his escape from the battlefield.
"Oh, that's shit again." Yellow Ranger said, but the ground shook once again.
A roar echoed through the skies, the reason for the shaking ground. The Rangers looked up to see a pair of red glowing eyes from behind the clouds.
"Ghidorah!" Yellow Ranger said happily, waving at his Zord.
But the ground kept shaking as not only Dragonzord but by the arrival of a navy Spinosaurus Zord.
"Spino!" Navy said happily.
"Ana." Yellow Ranger said looking at his twin, "I think it's time."
"Fuck yeah!" Navy said as the twins fist bumped.
The Dragonzord and the Spinozord started to transform. The Spinozord took on a more humanized form before it combined with the transformed Dragonzord, two of its heads covering the arms while the face of the Zord came out of the middle head's mouth. It's tail becoming a sword.
With a flash of yellow and dark blue, the Yellow and Navy Ranger where teleported into a shared cockpit.
"Sis." Yellow Ranger said.
"Bro." Navy Ranger said.
"We are in a Megazord!" Yellow Ranger said excited.
"I know right!" Navy said equally as excited, "Now let's kick some butt!"
Spreading it's wings, the Megazord flew towards the Vivizord, it's blade clashing with the open arm maw of the Vivizord's, obliterating one of his arms as the ground cracking beneath them. Getting enraged, the Vivizord immediately strikes with his other arm, but is knocked off balance when the Megazord used it's wing to deflect the attack.
"Now this is power." Yellow Ranger said as the Megazord's sword began to be enveloped by yellow and navy energy.
"Dynamic victory charge!"
The Megazord charged forward once again with a aura surrounding its sword, the Vivizord was unable to react in time as it is hit by the speed and power of the strike, sending him flying into the air before exploding into space dust.
"Monster extinct!" Yellow and Navy Ranger said.
Down in the lab, Riley and Kendall where dedicating their time to think up a plan to find a suitable candidate for a Purple Ranger. But Riley's concentration was interrupted when Koda, groaning in pain and holding his stomach, leaned his head against his shoulder.
"How your doing Koda?" Riley said as he was trying to work.
"Tropical burger." Koda groaned, "Bad idea!"
The doors opened and Ivan, also groaning with pain as he held his back. "What happened to you?" Riley said, looking up from his screen.
"I may have injured my back by helping a young lady." Ivan said with a pained expression.
At that moment, Chase came in through the slide entrance, "That girl! She broke my heart!" he said, nearly to tears, "And she broke my skateboard!" he showed off the two pieces that was once his skateboard.
They heard the elevator reach the Command Lab and Tyler, Henry, Shelby, Ana and Phillip came out.
"Hey nerds, guess what happened? No wait, let me rub it in your faces." Henry said smugly, "While you where busy with your Purple Ranger search, we not only found an Energem but had it bonded to a Ranger!"
"What." Riley and Kendall said flatly.
It didn't take long to explain what Phillip had done, and how he had bonded to the Graphite Energem. They concluded the story as they sat around the table where the Rangers usually gathered in the Command Lab.
"You know, it was easy for me to throw money at things." Phillip said, "But I realized now it was never going to make me worthy of being a Power Ranger."
"Of course it wouldn't." Ana said, "It was your courage in the face of danger that allowed the Graphite Energem to see the real you."
Phillip smiled at her, "I wish I could remain here with you all." he said.
"We understand." Shelby said with a nod, "Royalty comes with its own responsibilities."
"Very true." Henry said, "When you have great power, there also comes great responsibilities!"
"Indeed." Kendall said with a glance at Henry, "People should be more responsible."
"That's what I said?" Henry said confused.
"I promise to protect the Graphite Energem. Use the Graphite Charger and the Pachyzord in your quest to find the remaining Energems." Phillip said as he stood up, "But if you ever require the help of the Graphite Ranger, I will return."
"Good to know." Henry said with a two-finger salute, "Until the next time, Prince Dude."
"...How do you know my nickname from my collage years?" Phillip said surprised.
"Because I was the one who gave it to you." Henry pointed out.
At the end of the day, Kendall was sitting in the Dino Café, working some tings out even though most people had gone home. She didn't realize someone sitting across from her as she looked at her tablet.
"So Kendall." Henry said, "Any luck finding a candidate for the Purple Ranger?"
"No... Finding a hero is proving to be harder than I thought." she said with a sigh, "Harder than you get when I was dressed in my special purple lingerie set."
"Did you just make a dirty joke?" Henry said amused.
"God... I think your rubbing off on me." Kendall said looking around, "Where is everyone?"
"Chase is at the skate park, I know surprise." Henry said leaning back into his seat, "I send Tyler and Shelby to dinner at Dorsia."
"Dorsia on a Friday night? How did you swing that?" Kendall said before she got a smile, "Wait, Tyler and Shelby are alone? Like a date?"
"That is the intention." Henry said with a smirk.
"Bet that was Shelby's wish..." Kendall said with a frown, "And Koda got his burger."
"Koda always wishes for burgers." Henry pointed out.
"Okay that is true. So, Henry, indulge me for a moment." she said, "I know you didn't turn one in, but what would you have wished for?"
"Kendall, I have a thousand wishes." Henry said taking her pen and writing something down on a napkin, "But I boiled them down to one.", he folded it before sliding it over the table towards Kendall, wishing her a happy weekend before standing up and exiting the café.
When he turned the corner, Kendall took the napkin, opening it to reveal six words.
'To spend more time with Kendall.'
