Hello there, welcome fellow Rangers to the next chapter of Power Rangers Legacy II: Dino Hope.
Hope your going to enjoy it, but first, Review Time.
TheRagFromTheCrag: Really? I thought the show handled the Tyler/Shelby Romance pretty well, though I can see what you mean with it being obvious. I'm happy you like the relationship between Henry and Kendall.
CrimsonLightning: Yeah, sorry for the delay. I was a bit stuck on this chapter, I didn't want to rush it and because I had to keep going back and forth to fact check so there wouldn't be any plot holes.
And now on to the story.
It was Monday morning in Amber Beach, the Rangers had gathered in the Command Lab where Kendall had connected a console to a metal plate circle with two pillars placed across from each other, and on top of the two pillars was the place for two Energems.
"Morning everyone." Henry said as he came out of the elevator, holding two coffee cups.
"Your late." Kendall said as she worked at the console.
"I came as fast as I wanted to." Henry said, placing his cup down on the table before tossing his Energem to Kendall who caught it before he sat down next to Shelby.
"Thanks Henry." Shelby said when he placed the second cup in front of her.
"No problem." Henry said raising his cup, "I made sure yours had extra cream and sugar."
"Wait." Tyler said, "You know how Shelby has her coffee?"
"I knows his as well. Henry drinks his coffee black, though he drinks his tea with a single sugar cube." Shelby said, "It's not that weird."
"What would be weird if she knew my favorite smoothie." Henry said.
"Oh, that one is easy!" Shelby said suddenly, "Low-fat cherry berry strawberry with carob chips but no hot fudge.", getting a few odd looks from around the table.
"What? It's the favorite smoothie of my mom." Henry said defensively, "Well actually it was from my aunt, but it became mom's favorite later in life."
"Actually she isn't our real aunt, but her and mom have knew each other since they where kids." Ana said, "So she's basically family."
"Oh, right." Tyler muttered turning back to his conversation with Ivan.
"So, Shelby." Henry said as he lowered his voice and leaned in, "How did your date last Friday night go?"
"It was amazing." Shelby said with a bright smile, "Dorsia on a Friday night? How did you swing that?"
"I have my connections." Henry said with a smirk, "But less about me, and more about you! Come on, girl! Details!"
But their attention was drawn towards Kendall, who was standing behind a console after she placed the Yellow and Navy Energems in the machine.
"This is amazing!" Kendall said suddenly as the data came in on her screen, "I'm already seeing massive spikes of energy. Do you know what this means?"
"No, why don't you explain Ms. Morgan." Chase said.
"The Yellow and Navy blue Energem's are constantly pulling and drawing from each other, as if attempting to create a field of energy." Kendall explained, "It's like their twins!"
"Just like us!" Henry said as he high-fived his sister.
"What this mean, Kendall?" Koda said, scratching the side of his head.
"This means we might be looking at a source of unlimited clean energy." Kendall said as she began the boot up sequance.
"So this machine is used to harness that power?" Ivan said, "How do you invent this stuff, Ms. Morgan?"
"This isn't an enterily original idea. I based it on papers written by Professor Carver." Kendall explained, pushing a few things on the screen, "A brilliant scientist who works at Cranston Tech."
Riley stood a few feet away, ready to push the Emergency Shutdown button.
The machine began to charge up after Kendall gave the start up command. Arc's of energy began to sprang back and forth between the two Energem's until a swirling portal of electricity formed. But as it began to spin around at an increasingly accelerated rate as a bleeping noise came from the console.
"Is it suppose to do that?" Tyler said, but he saw the panicked look on Kendall's face, "I guess it isn't."
"The console isn't responding!" Kendall said, "Riley! Turn it off!"
Riley pushed the button, but the energy didn't cut off, as the portal between the Energems continued to spiral out of control, arc's where splitting off it and damaging the Command Lab.
"I got this." Henry said, before blitzing forward to break the machine.
But this hadn't the expected effect either, as what followed was an eruption from the energy swallowing Henry whole before the power went out in the Command Lab for a few seconds. When the power turned back on, the Rangers all looked horrified at the figure laying on his side near the machine.
"Oh, please no..." Kendall mumbled horrified, before rushing to the figure.
She was at his side almost as fast as if Henry himself had blitzed over, but the figure stirred as he opened his eyes, revealing them to be a royal blue.
Kendall backed off when the teenager stood up.
He had pale skin and his black hair cut in a messy short bowl-shaped haircut. He was dressed in a white open jacket with popped color over a green shirt. On his lower body he was dressed in black jeans. In his hand he had what appeared to just be the hilt of a sword. But with the flick of a button, a 1long green beam of energy appears out of it with two smaller blades appearing from the side vents.
He immediately took a fighting stance, showing he was ready to throw down if it came to it.
"Hey, hey, it's cool! Chill, Chill!" Tyler said, holding up his hands, "We're here to help! Don't kill the help!... Do you speak English?"
"Doesn't everyone?" the young man said dryly, still looking ready to fight, "Who are you people?..." but he felt silence when his blue eyes met Ana's greens.
"Hello there, I'm Ana." she said kindly, holding up her hands, "What is your name?"
"Call me Sky." the young man said as he looked around the room.
His attention was caught by the broken machine Kendall had built. "Time Condenser?" he said before looking at the group, "Who built this?"
"It was me." Kendall said, "What do you mean, built this one?"
"A friend of mine had build one." Sky said, spotting the two Energem's on the floor, "He theorized that the Energem's could be used as a means to fold time and space itself. Meaning it can be use to..."
"Time travel..." Kendall finished for him.
"Yeah." Sky said picking up the Yellow and Navy Energems, "I wonder how these two got here."
"What do you mean?" Riley said, "You know of the Energems?"
"Only a little. I found these during a road trip with my friends. I got the term Energem from an alien who attacked me over them." Sky explained, until his eye fell on something.
He walked towards the desk, where a photo was displayed of the end of summer barebcue, "That man." Sky said, pointing to Marc, "Who is that?"
"That's our friend Marc." Shelby said.
"One last question." Sky said seeming to relax a bit, "Does the name Keeper mean anything to you?"
"He's our mentor... Well, sort of." Chase said, "He isn't around very much."
"Ours is always stuck to a wall." Sky said, deactivating his weapon, "Sorry about that."
"It's alright." Tyler assured him, "It isn't every day your thrown through time."
"True, true..." Sky muttered, glancing to the side, "This is literally the third time it happened to me."
"Wait, what?" Riley said.
"Honestly, this is not even the weirdest one." Sky admitted as he shrugged his shoulder as if was another Tuesday for him.
Kendall went back to fixing the Time Condenser with the help from Sky while the other Rangers had to go back to their jobs, while Ana went out to get some supplies they needed.
"To fix this, all we need is to rebuild this Time Condenser and use the Yellow and Navy Energem to create a portal." Kendall explained, "Your biomatrix should lock on to your own time."
"I'm just going to nod along and pretend that made sense, Ms. Morgan." Sky said with a laugh as he helped fix one of the pillars, "Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, just worried about a ton of things." she said trying to wave it off.
"I'm sure your boyfriend is fine." Sky said.
"He's not my boyfriend!" Kendall protested a bit too quickly, "H-He's just a valued member of our team."
"Interesting." Sky said, obviously not believing her, "Does one of your troubles have to do with the Purple Energem?"
"How do you know that?" she said surprised as she walked over to the screen to see how the system where rebooting.
"I overheard Koda say something about it." Sky explained, "About trying to find a hero."
"It's been difficult finding someone to bond with it." Kendall admitted, "I almost went to a fortune teller to wish for a hero. I know, I know. Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous."
"The fortune teller idea, yeah, pretty ridiculous." Sky said before doing a suggestion, "Maybe you need to stop holding out for a hero, and be your own."
"You mean... Bond with it myself?" Kendall said as he eyes fell on the container where the Purple Energem was stored.
"Why not? A Ranger is just someone who doesn't give up." Sky said, "Anyone can be a Power Ranger."
"...How do you know about Power Rangers?" she said.
But just then, an alarm went off, indicating there was an attack by one of Sledge's alien's. It showed the location where the Rangers where already engaged. But it picked up something bigger, Sledge's ship had entered orbit and was hanging in the sky.
In the forest area, the Ranger's clashed with Sledge with an upgraded equipment, and backed up by more Vivix. Sledge charging at the Rangers, having his shoulder charge blocked by the Red Ranger. But the impact send the Green Ranger back, but he was caught out of mid air by Navy as she took out a Vivix with a flying kick, the impact powerful enough to send it flying and taking out three more.
"Riley, we need to stop meeting like this!" Navy said, putting the Green Ranger down on his feet.
"But you like it!" Green joked, slamming it against a Vivix, using a spinning counter and slicing through them.
"What was that!?" Black yelled dropping to the ground as he blasted three Vivix, "Riley making a joke!?"
"You make it sound like I'm always serious!" Green said.
"Because you are!" Blue said.
A light beamed down from the ship, banishing the shadows from the trees and suddenly the Rangers couldn't move.
"W-What's going on?" Pink managed to get out, "I-I can't move!"
"Nice isn't it." Sledge said, he and his lackeys' capable of movement, "A paralyzing beam specifically made to target Energem energy."
Sledge started to walk among the paralyzed Rangers, pondering which one he would take first. But the intergalactic Bounty Hunter frowned, "Where is the Yellow Ranger?" he demanded to know.
"Not around." Red struggled to say.
"Well then." Sledge said, coming to a stop at Navy, "I'll just take his sister's first." he began to reach out with his normal hand.
But before he could grab the Navy Energem, if it wasn't for a green blur soaring through the air and burning the finger tips of Sledge. He turned around to find the a cross-guard Saber return to its owner's outstretched hand, which was Sky.
"Yellow Ranger!" Sledge said turning to the newcomer, "You look different, did you do something with your hair?"
"Sky, what are you doing here?" Gold Ranger said, sounding concerned, "It too dangerous for a human."
"I'm working through some things." Sky said stepping forward and taking out a what appeared to be a golden tikki head, "And I really need to beat something up. It's Morphing Time!"
White energy surrounding him, before in his place stood a pirate themed White Ranger, with black pants and gold lining.
"Power Ranger, Legacy!" the White Legacy Ranger declared, striking a pose.
"Your a Ranger!?" Green Ranger said surprised.
"I am a Power Ranger, but not just any Ranger, not by a long shot." Legacy White said turning to the bounty hunter, "And you don't seem to understand. Earth isn't yours to conquer."
"Interesting phrasing." Sledge said.
"What do you mean?" Legacy White said confused.
"It kind of sounds like you're the one who wants to conquer Earth." Sledge pointed out.
"...That's a bit of a reach." Legacy White said.
"Not really. I mean you really emphasized 'isn't yours'." Sledge said, "Sounds a bit space fascist to me."
Raising his blaster arm, unleashing a volley of green energy bullets. Before they could touch him, Legacy White disappeared in a blur of white rose pettles. Sledge looked surprised and could just turn around to block Legacy White's blade thrust with his blaster, piercing the side of it.
Breaking off the clash and kicking Legacy White in the mid-section, sending him back a few feet. Legacy White came charging back in, like a seasoned fencer, he used some impressive foot work to evade Sledge's energy volley.
His veroicity increased as Legacy White attacked with fast parries and thrusts. Sledge struck at Legacy White who evaded by leaping backwards.
"Legacy Mode, Mighty Morphing!" Legacy White said as green energy surrounded him and he morphed a second time, this time in the very first Green Ranger, Mighty Morphing.
Holding the Dragon Dagger in a reverse grip, Mighty Morphing Green engaged in an aggressive series of attacks and managed to drive Sledge back. Pushing Mighty Morphing Green back, the alien took the moment to adjust his stance.
Sledge struck at Mighty Morphing Green again, but the Ranger deprived him of his blaster when he stabbed the Dragon Dagger into the barrel of his weapon.
Mighty Morphing Green dove out of the way of Sledge's fist and rolled over the ground as he morphed again.
"I need more Quantum Power!" he said morphing into the Time Force Quantum Ranger.
Sledge went on the offence, clashing with the Quantum Ranger, who dropped to the floor so the monster stumbled forward, the Quantum Ranger used his Quantum Defender to first blast at Sledge before rushing him with fast strikes in a rapid succesion, which was followed by another white morph, turning him into the Dino Thunder White Ranger, using an upward slash with his Drago Sword. As Sledge began to spark of the damage, he morphed back into the Legacy White Ranger intend to finish it off with a powerful strike from his Cross-Guard Saber.
With a malfuncioning blaster, Sledge attempted one last hail mary. But it began to spark before erupting in a fiery explosion enveloping the Bounty Hunter.
This seemed timed just right as purple explosion erupted from the space ship, releasing the Rangers from the paralyzing beam.
"Your so awesome, Sky!" Red complimented, "That was unbelievable!"
"Yeah, changing between Rangers." Blue said patting him on the back, "Very cool!"
But there wasn't much time to talk was the ship began to lose altitude before going into a nose dive towards their location.
"Oh, shit." Black Ranger said, "Let's move."
But the ground beneath them began to shake before another eruption covered and shower them in dirt and earth as the as a massive purple Megazord came rushing to their rescue. It was the Plesio Charge Megazord, who caught the falling ship in it's outstretched arms.
With no effort at all, the Plesio Charge Megazord turning in place before tossing the ship far into the mountains.
"Wait, that's the Purple Ranger Zord." Gold Ranger said confused, "Who's piloting it?"
From the top of the Megazord, a purple streak came down as the Purple Ranger landed on the ground. This one having an added skirt like how the Pink and Navy Ranger have.
"Hey everyone." the Purple Ranger said.
"Ms. Morgan!?" the Rangers said.
"I knew it." Legacy White said with an approving nod.
Back at the Command Center, Kendall was putting the finishing touches on the Time Condenser as the Rangers talked with Sky.
"That was so cool, with you changing between different Rangers!" Ana said as she stood with Sky in the back, "You really saved our beacon."
"Yeah, it's a pretty cool ability." Sky admitted, "Say Ana... You look familiar. It's hard to explain, it feels like... I don't know... nostalgia? Like I know you from somewhere."
"Maybe you know me from your own time? Who knows?" Ana said with a shrug, "A little bit back, you said you where going through some stuff."
"It's nothing really." Sky muttered, "I don't want to bother you with it."
"It isn't a bother if I'm asking." she said with a smile.
"Just some family issue." Sky said with a deep sigh, "My sister..."
But before more could be said, the Time Condenser created a swirling portal of electricity. It showed a familiar visage of Harwood County as other Legacy Ranger's where engaged in battle.
"I need to help them." Sky said Morphing at once.
He was about to jump through the portal when Tyler said, "We'll come too! We owe you one."
"You owe me nothing, helping others is what we Rangers do." Legacy White said, "But your welcome to come."
Legacy White was the first to land, apparently they had forced the Yellow Ranger away from his battle against Prince Vekar, one of the leaders invading the Earth at that point in time.
"Your Henry right?" Legacy White said, holding out his hand to help him up, "I brought some friends along."
"Friends?" Yellow Ranger said confused, moments before the other Dino Charge Rangers jumped out the closing portal.
"Hey there Henry!" Red Ranger said, waving his white gloved hand at him, "Glad your okay."
"Thanks Tyler." Yellow Ranger said, as his team's Red Ranger slapped him on the back.
"How many more Dino Charge Rangers are there?" Legacy Green said.
"There is more." Blue Ranger said, "But Prince Phillip couldn't come."
"We can talk about that later." Purple Ranger said to the others, before turning to the alien prince, "We got a fight to win."
"So happy you where concerned for me." Yellow Ranger teased, surprised that Kendall appearently was now the Purple Ranger, as the gathered Ranger Teams turned towards Vekar.
"I-I was not!" Purple Ranger protested.
"You so was, Ms. Morgan." Black Ranger said with a teasing tone.
"Stop it, Chase." Pink Ranger scolded him.
"She is right." Legacy Red said, "Everybody Ready?"
The gathered Rangers let out a yell, readying their weapons.
"It's about to get wild!" Red Ranger said, before they charged at the Prince.
Vekar blocks the strike of the two blue Ranger's, while he dealt with them, both Black and Legacy Green shoot at him with their blasters. As he rolled back, he deflect the attack from the Legacy Silver's trident, but giving Gold Ranger to strike him back.
Legacy White, Legacy Yellow, Yellow Ranger, Green Ranger, Navy Ranger and Purple Ranger, close in, each firing a rapid series of shots and strikes against the prince.
Vekar manages to defend himself against for some time, before the two Pink Rangers landed a hit on his knees, giving him pause long enough for the two Red Rangers to each get a slash in and knock him into the ground.
"No!" Vekar screamed, as he saw his death imminent, "This can't be!"
"Dynamic Victory Charge!" the Legacy Rangers said, combining their weapons for the final strike.
"Dino Victory Charge!" the Dino Charge Rangers said, combining their weapons as well.
As it traveled along the ground, the final attacks began to combine into one massive stream of energy, enveloping the prince as he was impacted by it.
"Damn you!" Vekar roared in agony as the ground shook by the sheer magnitude of the attack, "Why? WHY!? This shouldn't be happening! I am Prince Vekar!"
With those last words being drowned out by the sound of a massive explosion, leaving nothing left of the fallen prince in the smoldering crater once it cleared.
"Rangers win!" The two Ranger teams said, "Monster Extinct!"
Back at the Command Center of the Legacy Rangers, the two Ranger teams introduced themselves to each other, talking among themselves and getting some deserved rest as Kendall was working with Noah Carver, the Legacy Blue Ranger, on the machine.
Riley and Ana where exploring the Command Center, seeing the tech room and the training room.
"Don't let Ms. Morgan know." Riley said, "But their Command Center is way cooler than ours."
"I won't let it slip." Ana said as they turned right , where they ran into a surprise.
They saw a clean white cell, separating it with a wall of glass. On the other side of the glass, sitting on a bench, was a person. It was a young woman with a pretty face with pale skin, long brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white jacked over a green hoodie worn long to cover most of her short skirt.
"Who are you?" the girl said, sounding rather bored.
"We are Rangers." Riley said surprised, "Who are you?"
"Of course you are." the girl said with a roll of her eyes, "I'm just Sky's dangerous little sister."
"So your the one that has been troubling him?" Ana said folding her arms under her chest, "Why?"
The girl looked at Ana, taking in her appearance but more specifically her facial features, studying her as if she recognizing her from somewhere, but couldn't quite place her where she knew her from.
"Your tall for a woman." the girl finally decided.
"I know." she said, "What have you done that they locked you up?"
"I committed planetary genocide." the girl said casually.
"Oh, right..." Ana said, a bit stumped by how casual she was, "Based?"
"What!?" Riley said horrified, "There's nothing positive about genocide!"
"Whatever nerd." the girl scoffed, "Just fuck off and leave me be. There is no saving me, no matter what Sky may think, I'm too far gone."
Ana felt that she could say more, maybe do more but Riley got her attention. He gestured towards the glass wall, where five words had been scratched into.
My name is Solana Morgenstern
In the Center Room, where the walls where lined by statues depicting Rangers that had come before.
"This place is awesome!" Tyler said, looking at the wall of Ranger Statues, "Look at all those past Rangers."
"Yeah, I guess it's pretty cool." Legacy Red, Troy Burrows said, leaning against the wall as Tyler looked around excited.
"...So let me get this straight." Jake Holling, the Legacy Green Ranger said, as he was talking with Koda, "Your actually from 100,000 years ago?"
"Yes. I found my Energem and I was frozen in ice." Koda explained as best he could, "Kendall and Chase found me in glacier, defrosting me with Dino Blaze Charger."
"So if you bond with an Energem, you become immortal?" Orion, the Silver Legacy Ranger said.
"Exactly, good sir Orion." Ivan said with a nod, "I for one was a legendary knight of Zandar, centuries ago in the year 1215."
"I have been to Zandar during last summer." Legacy Pink, Emma Goodall noted, "It's a beautiful country."
"Indeed it is fair maiden." Ivan said, with a slight bow.
"He really got that knight act down." Troy noted as the Green and Navy Dino Charge Rangers entered the central room in the Command Center.
"So who is that girl behind that glass wall in the back?" Riley said, gesturing over his shoulder.
"That's my sister Drak..." Sky said, having been talking with Henry the entire time, "I mean Solana."
"Why is she locked up?" Ana said, surprised she shared a first name with a genocidal maniac.
"She..." Sky said sadly, "She is not well."
Orion huffed at this, "That's an understatement." he said, crossing his arms.
"Hey, that's not important right now." Henry said quickly as if trying to change the subject, "What where you two doing back there, all alone?"
"W-We where just looking around." Riley said quickly, obviously embarrassed, "This place is amazing."
"Right." Henry said with a drawn out tone, throwing his arms up, "I'm obviously not believing you."
"I don't think they where doing anything." Chase said teasingly, "I mean, I don't think they have a ladder high enough for Riley to reach Ana's height."
Henry and Chase laughed at his joke. It was true that there was a considerable height difference between Riley and Ana, almost as much as how Henry himself towered over Kendall for example.
"Leave them alone you two." Shelby said.
"As if Henry would." Kendall said.
"Your just angry because you were worried about me and don't want to admit it." Henry teased his now fellow Ranger, "Weren't you Kendall?"
"Don't call me that!" she snapped at him, "It's Ms. Morgan."
"Yeah, whatever, Kendall." he said, rolling his eyes, "Is the Time Machine ready yet."
"The Time Machine isn't. But the Time Condenser is." Noah said standing up, "Ms. Morgan and I have configured the machine to limit the energy output. Your biomatrix should lock on to the time and place you where before you left."
"So..." Jake said slowly, turning to Noah, "How many holes have we punched in the space time continuum?"
"This is only the second time." Noah said, "So... Not many?"
"Actually this is the third time for me." Sky said holding up three fingers.
"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect." Kendall said, as her fingers typed away on the console, "But actually from a non-linear non-subjective viewpoint its more like a big ball of wibbley wobbley timey wimey stuff."
"See?" Sky said gesturing to the purple glassed woman, "Ms. Morgan get's it."
"Please Sky." Kendall said with a kind smile, "Call me Kendall."
"Alright Kendall." he said.
"Why does he get permission to call you Kendall and I don't?" Henry said, sounding slightly jealous.
"Because Sky is not a dolt." Kendall said with a roll of her brown eyes behind her purple framed glasses, "And it's not like your going to ask for permission anyway."
"True." Henry admitted as Noah began to power up the machine.
And once again arc's of energy began to sprang back and forth between the two Energem's until a swirling portal of electricity formed, but this time it looked much more stable.
"Well, I guess this is it." Tyler said, turning to Troy, holding out his hand, "It was an honor fighting alongside you."
"Likewise." Troy said, shaking hands with each other, "I hope we can meet again."
As the two teams began to say their goodbyes to each other, and one by one, the Dino Charge Rangers entered the portal, returning to their own time.
"Oh, Henry." Jake said and he stopped before entering the portal, "You where talking about that movie..."
But Henry merely got an irritated look, before immediately walking through the portal without saying anything.
"Don't think it's very good..." Jake noted.
Ana was the last to enter the portal back to her own time, but before she did, she turned around. "Hey Sky." she said, making him look up at her, "From one older sibling to another. Don't give up on your sister... Even the most wayward souls can be redeemed."
At these words, he gave a small smile, "Thanks Ana." he said, "I won't give up on her."
Returning a smile as well, she entered the portal as well and it closed behind her.
The Rangers stepped into their trusty Command Lab, once Ana stepped through the portal, it closed down.
At once Kendall went to the console to shut it down, having decided that poking holes in the fabric of space and time was too much of a risk.
"Oh, sweet zombie Jesus." Henry said as he looked at his phone, "I got connection again."
"That's what your worried about?" Ana said as she hugged her twin.
"Yeah, apparently my coverage doesn't include time travel." Henry said as he returned the hug.
"That's the Henry we know." Tyler said patting his shoulder.
The Rangers explained what had happened after Henry left, with Kendall filling in them in how Sky had encouraged to try and bond with the Purple Energem, and the fight with ended in the crashing of Sledge's ship along with the demise of the Bounty Hunter.
"Really?" Henry said, "That's the end of Sledge?"
"Yeah, I mean, that's how most of our enemies die." Ivan said, "In a big ball of fire."
"True, true. But still, this is Sledge..." Henry said feeling something it was not right, but honestly he was too tired to think about it, "After that misadventure, I'm thirsty. Who's up for a few beers in Penguin Sniper?"
"Oh no, no beers for you." Kendall said sternly, "My office, ten minutes."
"This must be serious." Henry said as he watched Kendall leave through the elevator.
"Hey Henry." Ana said.
"Hey Ana." Henry said.
"You do realize who that Sky was, right?" she said.
"Who was he?" Koda said interested.
"Well the White Ranger is Sky Morgenstern, and the Yellow one Gia Moran as she was known back then. Before she married and became a Morgenstern." Henry explained.
"Yeah!" Koda said with his goofy smile, "I don't get it."
"Sky and Gia are your parents!?" the Rangers said surprised.
With all the Rangers going ahead to the Penguin Sniper Lounge, Henry went upstairs where Kendall was in her office. She had her back turned to him before he gave a knock on the door, "Hey Kendall." he said, "What did you..."
She turned around, her eyes upon his handsome face. Her lips slightly parted then Kendall launched herself forward and started punching every inch of him that she could reach.
"W-what are you doing?" Henry said with a mix of confusion and a bit of amusement in his voice.
"You! Complete! Asshole! Henry! Fucking! Morgenstern!" she shouted, she punctuated every word with a blow, "What got inside that head of yours to rush the Time Condenser!?"
"Kendall." Henry said seriously, "Please calm down."
"I will not calm down! Don't tell me what to do!" she screamed, "Do you know what would have happened if you had died? Have you thought of that? How could you do that to the team? How could you do that to me!"
Henry caught her arm, before pulling her close to himself, her head resting against his chest and his arms wrapped around her much smaller frame. "Kendall, I'm sorry." he said, "But I couldn't have lived with myself if I hadn't done everything in my power to save you. Because you mean that much to me."
She returned the embrace, her feet slightly being lifted off the ground as they held each other close.
"How about we go back to your place?" Henry said, "Order some take out and just relax?"
"Sounds like an idea." she said before whispering in his ears, "If your lucky, we'll do anal tonight."
"Sweet!" Henry said as they held each others hand, "I'll lube up the strap-on!"
Kendall couldn't help but giggle a little as the two left her office. With ten of the twelve Energems found and with the threat of Sledge taken care off, the future was uncertain but they would face it together.
There you go, hope you enjoyed. Many thanks to everyone who reads, reviews, favorite, or follows this story, you beauties.
This was one of the chapters I was looking forward to writing, and it took a bit longer than intended, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
This is also the middle of the story where we would be heading into Dino Super Charge territory.
Take care of yourself out there, get some rest, drink plenty of water and I will see you people next time.
And may the Power protect you.
