Hi there, here is the new chapter and I feel that I owe you all an apology for not uploading for a while. It was on the list, but I had some other priorities first, plus Eden Zero is not that hot in the United States as Fairy Tail and we need a new season. Thanks to Through the Rough to keep it strong a story after so long. Thank you all and enjoy this long overdue chapter.
Rebecca was not understanding what was going on, mostly on who was that guy who just showed up and destroyed that giant cat robot with one swing. He looked like a neanderthal and asked them if they wanted to be friends and Luffy had agreed to but Rebecca was not sure.
She was just seeing Luffy with a smile looking at the weird new individual.
"Rebecca come on! He is harmless! Be his friend.'' Said Luffy.
"As if! I don't know what kind of person he is!'' Said Rebecca.
"But he is a good guy.'' Said Luffy.
"Are humans with blonde hair this loud?'' Asked the mysterious man.
"Rebecca is kind like that.'' Said Luffy.
"Shut up!'' Scream Rebecca all red.
"You're a weird individual.'' Said the mysterious man.
"No your'e the weird one.'' Said Happy.
"A talking cat! This is so weird.'' Said the mysterious man.
"Boy, you're a funny guy. Are we the first people you see in a while?' 'Asked Luffy.
"No, you're al the first humans I ever meet in my life.'' Said the mysterious.
"Is that so well….AAAAAAAAAAH!'' Scream Rebecca running away as she drags Luffy by the collar.
"Wait! Rebecca!'' Scream Luffy being dragged off as she, him and Happy ran off.
The mysterious man looked at this confused as the trio returned to the kingdom.
At the kingdom.
The group arrive at the guild to talk to one of the robots about that weird guy, however Luffy was annoyed that he was dragged out like that.
"Come on Rebecca, he is a good guy why did you do that?'' Asked Luffy.
"We don't want to be near someone who has never meet a human before. Its beyond dangerous.'' Said her.
"But he didn't sound so bad.'' Said Luffy.
"Yeah, he is already looking at my panties and I bet he wanted to look at my boobs.'' Said Rebecca.
"Whatever.'' Said Luffy annoyed as he adjust his straw Hat.
Rebecca only looked at him a bit annoyed as the two went to talk with one of the robots from the guild.
"Oh, travelers. It looks like you all failed your question.'' Said the robot.
"More than that, there was a human! A human boy! Weren't there only machines on this island?!'' Asked Rebecca confused.
"Yeah, he is cool and funny.'' Said Luffy.
"I wouldn't say that.'' Said Happy.
"Oh, are you talking about Shiki?'' Asked the robot as the mysterious man now identified as Shiki appeared from behind her.
"Hi.'' Said him.
Rebecca and Happy had a look of shock on their faces while Luffy looked happy that he had returned.
"Hey Shiki, so that's your name. It's a pretty cool one.'' Said Luffy.
"Thanks, let me introduce the group. That's Mitra she runs the guild. That's john, the tailor. Annie from the cafeteria and this is my friend Michael.'' Said Shiki introducing the robots.
"Pleased to meet you all.'' Said Michael being polite.
"Nice to meet you too.'' Said Luffy all chill with all that.
"Oh you seem to know everyone.'' Said Rebecca a bit scared.
"We're all friends here. Good friends!'' Said Shiki smiling as he hugs his robots friends.
Rebecca for some reason now felt way more calm upon seeing Shiki acting like that, maybe Luffy was right he was a good guy he was just introduced in the wrong matter.
"Well it's a pleasure to know this Shiki.'' Said Rebecca.
"Would you all like some food? We are celebrating that you're all the first customers we have in 100 years. How about also a party?'' Asked Mire.
"Yes!'' Said Luffy and Rebecca with a smile.
The food soon arrived roasted food and all other kinds. Both Luffy and Rebecca were with water in their mouths.
"Woah! This looks so good!' Scream Luffy.
"Lets eat!'' Said Rebecca getting a delicious roast.
The two kept eating more and more but the fun didn't stopped there, the robots specially the tailor one had some surprises.
"Would you all be kind to try our new designed clothes?'' Asked John the tailor robot.
"Sure. What about you Luffy?'' Asked Rebecca.
"Why not? This could be fun.'' Said Luffy.
"I will be fine here.'' Said Happy.
"I will get you.'' Said Shiki.
"I am not food!'' Scream Happy in horror.
The night continued like this. Fun, singing, drinks, food and all kinds of activities. For being a very exclusive planet with no people, the robots of Granbell knew how to party and have a good time, both Luffy and Rebecca would remember this night for a long time.
Little did they knew someone was watching them from outside and informed the king of the planet, trouble was about to come for the newcomers of Granbell.
Later
The party was mostly done now Luffy, Rebecca and Shiki were on the guild having a meal while some robots were around to keep company.
"How come robots make such good food?'' Asked Luffy munching on some meat.
"We have over billions of recipes and techniques done by professionals chef written in our programming, even if we can't taste we know they are supposed to be good.'' Said Michael the robot.
"But there's only Shiki in here is good to have all this food around for just one person?'' Asked Rebecca.
"We always keep farming and creating cattle for any occasion. We were waiting for people to come visit our planet again.' Said Michael.
"Well, you guys are awesome for keep doing this. All this food taste amazing.' Said Luffy.
"Yes, I agree with Luffy. What about you Shiki? Do you like the food in here?'' Asked Rebecca.
"It's the best food in the universe in my mind.'' Said Shiki.
"Yeah this is the mindset I thought you would have.'' Said Happy.
While eating Rebecca had a simple question for the solo inhabitants of this planet.
"By the way what were you doing in the forest early.'' Asked her.
"I was doing some repairs. Some robots hve been acting up lately and when I'm rying to fix them, they go Bam!'' Said Shiki.
"What is a Bam!?'' Asked luffy.
"Something not good.'' Said Shiki.
"Well at least you are trying to fix it and that's what matter.'' Said Luffy.
"Thanks, by the way where are you two from?'' Asked Shiki.
"We come from blue garden, but I guess you wouldn't know where that is?'' Asked Rebecca.
"No, I never even left this island.'' Said Shiki.
"What! Why not Shiki!? You have a whole planet to explore! This is already exciting enough.' Said Luffy.
"Someone has to be around to repair these guys. They are my friends and I can't let them down.'' Said Shiki with a smile.
"Oh yeah! My bad!'' Said Luffy laughing.
Then while eating Shiki for some reason fell asleep and hit the floor so hard that broke even the table that he was eating.
Bam
Crash
"What! Shiki are you ok?'' Asked Rebecca in shock.
"He is just like my brother.'' Said Luffy laughing.
"He should see a doctor!'' Scream Rebecca.
"Don't worry my dear, Shiki tends to do things like this from time to time. He is very tired, don't worry we will put him to bed and he will wake all fine the next morning. Besides I think he doesn't comfortable with the questions you all have in your faces.'' Said Michael.
Rebecca and Luffy all looked at each other confused at what the robot was saying, Happy was even with a confused look as he didn't understood what was the main thing happening.
'Why is this boy alone in this island. Its written in your faces.'' Said Michael.
"We are just worried for our friend! That's it!'' Said Luffy.
"Shiki is special you see.'' Said Michael.
"What do you mean?''' Asked Rebecca.
"10 years ago, the demon king brough a human child to this island.'' Said Michael.
"A demon king!'' Said Rebecca in horror.
"Cool!'' Said Luffy excited.
"Yes, he the robot made for that role. We don't know where he found Shiki but the Demon King Loved him like his own grandson. We got attached to him that we couldn't abandon him. He was the only person who wanted to hang around with a planet full of robots, the last person we encountered before meeting Shiki was a young man with red hair and scars in his left eye.'' Said Michael.
"Wait, red haired guy with scars! You guys meet Shanks!?'' Asked Luffy.
'Yes, he we meet him. Charming man, we share stories and told about The Demon King about him.'' Said Michael.
"Woah! I need to ask Shiki about him.'' Said Luffy now excited.
"You have to wait until morning. We can sense that Shiki is beyond tired and needs to rest, you all need some rest too. Would like. some rooms to rest for the night?'' Asked Michael.
"Yes!'' Said Luffy and Rebecca
"Excellent, we will have them clean and prepared in a few minutes. Also, we will have water cleaned for a proper bath.'' Said Michael.
"I don't shower that much.'' Said Luffy.
"Listen here Mister! If we are going to travel together, I don't want my ship to smell bad, until you have your own ship and tag along with me you are taking showers every day! You hear me!'' Scream Rebecca.
"Understood!'' Said Luffy scared.
"Oh thanks, but before we go I want to do something.'' Said Rebecca.
"What is it?'' Asked Michael.
"Can I give him a haircut? This long one is kind drive me nuts.'' Said Rebecca.
"I think this will be fine, don't you think Michael?'' Asked Luffy.
"If you all think is for the best, I am sure that Shiki will appreciate.'' Said Michael.
While the robots were fixing up the rooms for Luffy and Rebecca to sleep the girl got a pair of scissors and started to cut off Shiki long hair, to the point that now it was all short and simple.
"Well what you think?'' Asked Rebecca.
"I don't know, I am not much into fashion.'' Said Luffy.
The robots just kept looking at the duo all quietly, plotting something while the two just talk with each other.
A little later.
The rooms were ready and both had taken their showers and after this long day of course it was time for bed.
"I will be hitting for the day, I will be in my room.'' Said Luffy.
"Ok Luffy, good night.'' Said Rebecca.
"Thanks Rebecca, see you tomorrow.'' Said Luffy.
"See yah!'' Said Rebecca.
The two went to their room and started to doze off for the night. Luffy slept with his straw hat covering his face while Rebecca hugged Happy as if he was a legit plush.
What they didn't know was that the king of Granbell had already given the master programming to its subject and they all agreed to take action.
Next morning
Shiki waked up confused, he usually overslept many times but this time was different. He waked up with a ton of his hair missing from his head.
"What! Michael! Michael Something is wrong!'' Scream Shiki looking around.
The boy looked around the room and saw that no one was present.
"Where is everybody? And why is noisy outside?'' Asked Shiki confused.
The noise was coming from the main city where something diabolical was about to happen.
In the main city.
Rebecca soon started to wake up because she felt something off, she felt a little bit chilly and heard some noises.
"Huh?'' Asked her waking up.
She saw she was outside and not in her room, but that wasn't the most horrifying thing as she was tied to a pole.
"What!'' Scream Rebecca in horror
The girl looked around to see knights with torches nearby, wheat on her feet and Happy tied to another pole next to her, the cat was still sleeping as if nothing was going on. Rebecca started to freak out and scream to the heavens, but she noticed something missing.
"Wait! Where is Luffy?!'' Asked Rebecca confused.
With Luffy
Luffy was having a nice dream about eating a planet full of meat, however that dream was interrupted when the straw hat kid felt something wet around him.
"Uh?'' Asked Luffy confused.
He saw that he was sinking, he was in a hole of quick sand and he was sinking at a slow pace but his arms were already down and he was at a torso level.
"Wait! This is not my bed!'' Scream Luffy.
Luffy didn't know what was going on but he felt someone was behind this and they were going to pay for it.
So yes, Rebecca and Luffy hit off with Shiki and they had a nice time. I decided to change the scenario for Luffy, him being put in quick sand sounds more interesting while Rebecca is about to be burn like a witch. Like the robots can see which one is the strongest of the two and Luffy could stop that whole thing in a second.
Yes, I know this is nothing from the year of absence and I know there are people who waited for this fic a lot. Sorry, but life is taking its toll on me and I have 6 series that are my main priority in this website and this is a hobby, not a main career.
Sorry for the rant, but I am just giving what I have in mind.
I hope you all at least liked the chapter and had fun readding. I will see if I can update this one a little more and people have a nice time with this. Next chapter will be the end of the first episode, like we will have more fights and other things. Thank you all.
