Hey there, so My Hero ended this week. Wow, 10 years of story this is an accomplishment. Maybe Horikoshi held it back to make sure he could end this series near its 10-year anniversary, some mangaka do that. I mean Naruto ended it being on 700 chapters which is a good place to ended it.

If you all pay attention, My Hero is the series that I tend to write the most but its not one of my favorite series ever, I like the series, but I still see its flaws more. I had a huge problem with the World Building, yes, we know how Quirks and these stuff work but only in Japan, and when we go to other countries it's a made up one that will never seen again or maybe its not canon. It was very infuriating sometimes, first they said All Might was the strongest hero in the world, but I guess due to mistranslation and this stuff not making sense they change it him just being the strongest Hero in Japan.

Now about Izuku, look I like him fine as it is but he has a ton that I am not fan of it. First the big, I hate that he just sat down and cry for almost 10 years until one day, like seriously this is your way to cope, just be quiet and do nothing, at least Asta worked out. Whatever, we need it to get the big moment when he saved Bakugo and All Might granted him his power so he can move on.

Look, if you read this fic for a while you could say that I am not the biggest fan of Bakugo, for me was a despicable ass hat who is a Mary Sue and never get any punishment, all that Aizawa ever did was just give him wrist slaps and that's it. I still maintain that if Izuku wasn't there he wouldn't get any develop because Aizawa sure as shit did nothing. But over time I ended up accepting him, not much but hey it was better, he learned to trust other and while his ``death`` was a bit cheap, but its superheroes I saw DC and Marvel characters be resurrected by other dumb reasons.

All Might, I had a huge problem at first, him being a huge hypocrite about Quirkless people not being heroes. Then like him a little more once he was out of being a hero, which I prefer, I am so glad that they didn't try to bring him back to his old self which was something that I felt would ruin the story, also that Iron Might suit was always going to fail, Tony Stark might not have powers but he is 10 million times smarter than All Might so he knew what to do. I am just glad that he stayed a mentor because for me that's better fit for him than being a hero.

Now about romance its easy to say that was never one of Horikoshi strongest points, he wanted to write a story and not focus on romance. It's very rare we get a Shonen with a romance subplot and a good one not a rush, even Dr Stone had that problem. Well, I am least happy that Izuku and Uraraka had some great relationship and by God the Kacchacko shippers are annoying as the NaruSaku fanbase, even with everything seemed to be good for Uraraka and Izuku they are saying that she ended up with Bakugo even though there is no point and no conversation between that, there are places on twitter that claim they are in a relationship just because they are in the same classroom. Even in the last panel they are like ``Well Bakugo arm is place in the same position as Uraraka pose, so that must mean they are together``, Christ now I understand the frustration of some. Also, relationship is something really weird with the My Hero Fanbase which I will comment in a moment.

In this website alone you can find all kind of weird shit about this franchise. I am pretty sure I read a fanfic where Izuku is in relationship with any girl from class 1-A to 1-B, Shinso, Nejire and so many others. Like he is the perfect white blank to lash out your imagination, but sometimes is too much. Now there are fanfics that I do love that make a good job in exploring Izuku as a character such as Good and Evil, Apotheosis and others, I know these two are the most well-known fanfics on this site but what can I do? Also, I don't check much of the AO3 stories because they tend to be as weird as the dark web.

One big thing that I was highly against was Mirio getting his quirk back, it was done off screen with no build up and then we accepted full hearted like nothing. All the build up for him to be Lemillion without a quirk just to be discarded, also I never liked his jokes and his style. But Horikoshi won many points for by stating that if he had received One For All he would be dead, mostly in just a year and that for me was a good explanation why Izuku was necessary for this plan to work. Suck on that Nighteye, your All Might Junior would have died by your hands.

Now one thing that My Hero had good were the villains, at first I didn't mind them but then when we get to My Villain Academia I was all onboard for every single of them and it's a tragic tale because they all died in the end. I was like Wow, Horikoshi did it and their deaths impact Hero Society to become better. I was glad that society changed and rely on not putting everything on the heroes, all they need it was the fear of God, All Might getting beaten and a 15 year old telling them to change. It's Manga what can we do?

The side characters never did anything for me, 1-B for me result to nothing outside of Monoma who was the original design for Bakugo. Like people love to shit on the Kyoto Students from JJK for being useless, at least the Kyoto group had Todo who was one of the biggest keys to save Yuji in Shibuya and in the big against Sukuna, what can these guys from 1-B do. I was also annoyed Horikoshi putting those randoms like the department students or the people who talked back at Bakugo before the Festival, like we don't know them so why should we care. Also, that Plus Ultra Data Book I thought it was useless because there was random shit for characters that Horikoshi didn't bother, like do you know Awase has a crush on Momo? No, and it's never going to be play at.

Full disclosure, I really liked the ending. Did Izuku became number one? No. Is he still a hero without a quirk? Yes. Is society for the better? I hope so. Was there a bunch of things I wanted answer? Yes, but it's ok. I really liked the final splash showing 1-A all grown up and some of them changed a lot but some of them not really. I like how people are not fixated in being heroes and are trying new things, they are trying to help others instead of just punching them, Stain remained dead so I am glad for that never liked his Hypocritical ass. In the end I felt that it was in a good manner.

I had a ton of problem with the war arc, like there is a good video on saying that the My Hero Arc failed and the Shibuya Incident failed. I guess because there were few damage to our leads, I mean the main trio certainly there are times that seems like Izuku, Bakugo and Todoroki are the only teen heroes worthy of attention, but stuff like Gran Torino surivivng, Midnight Death seemed like nothing, rushing toward the Vigilant arc and these factors make the War seem less interesting. Also, how come guys like Ojiro, Sato, Mineta, Mina and Tooru go to two wars and didn't get a single scar? Answer me!

My Hero is still going to be a series full of fan art and fanfics, the final splash page is going to give so much material for people to work for years. Let's see what Horikoshi will bring to us in the upcoming years, I hope he stays rested and lets wait and see. Plus, Ultra everyone and see yah!

Also here are my personal pics

Favorite Character- Jirou (Liked her design and how chilly she can be. Not fan of what people do with her in some fics).

Favorite Hero- Fat Gum (He was the only one I saw as a genuine and a interesting player, I got mad that he was sidelined)

Favorite Girl- Momo (Of course)

Favorite Arc- The Eri Rescue Mission (That was a really good Shonen arc)
