Natsu sat at the edge of a fountain in a large plaza of the castle. He watched as people walked by him, chatting and laughing. He sighed heavily, thinking about his failure to rescue Erza and keep the promise that he made to her.

It had been only 3 hours since the girl had been taken away from him and he had been unable to track her down. He was so frustrated with himself since he was unable to prevent her from being taken away. How did the promise fail? Why was he so helpless to stop Alehot from taking her away? So many questions ran through his head and the worst of all is that Erza's life is on the line.

"Damn, why am I thinking so much? This isn't like me, and I should just focus on rescuing her. I can't give up now, I need to rescue Erza from the clutches of the Void and whoever that Jellal guy was." He thought, feeling a fire burn within him. His spirit was burning brighter, and his will was not waning at all.

But still, that did little to help his predicament. Natsu knew one thing. If tried to go after her, he would essentially be going against the Void Kingdom itself, the very same one that took care of him his whole life, the place that raised him to become the powerful wizard he is now, the very home that has given him the knowledge, power, and opportunities that made him who he is today, and most importantly, the same place that has helped him to achieve his goals in the past, even if those were the goals that the kingdom wanted.

The thought of getting to Erza was already in his head, but he was struggling to go through with it. Natsu closed his eyes before walking off, trying to come to terms with what was going on in his head.

"Master Natsu..." The voice of Erza, the woman he was trying to save, was echoing in his mind. It was almost taunting him, making him feel worse, and driving him crazy.

"I know what you're thinking, Master Natsu." Suddenly, someone spoke to him, grabbing Natsu's attention. It was Lisia Soldovere.

"Lisia...?"

"You're thinking of saving Erza. Going against the orders of the King." Lisia said, putting her arms together while approaching Natsu. "I've known you long enough, and the look in your eyes says everything I need to hear. Your silence speaks louder than any word you can possibly say."

"So what if I do? Are you gonna stop me?" Natsu asked, turning his back on her, not wanting to face the person that had helped to train him in his younger days.

Lisia sighed, shaking her head, "You really want to save her that much. It is not like you to fall for anyone. I remember a time when you would boast about not hesitating to destroy anyone that was in your way or was not needed anymore, including girls and women. Of course, that was when you were young and not yet applicable for missions. Now, you are risking everything that has built you up to the man you are today to save a slave that is meant to be a sacrifice." The Demon-Body Magic user looked down, a tear forming in her eye. "That is very foolish, and the Natsu from the past would have called you an idiot. However, you are not him anymore, you have grown into a fine adult. How touching..."

"You...want me to save her?"

"I am loyal to the Void Kingdom. But as always, I pity others that are suffering. Erza has already suffered enough, becoming a slave and being taken away from her guild. But you seem to care about her truly, Master Natsu. If you feel that you must save her, even knowing the potential consequences of your actions, then that is the path you must walk on."

"What, are you gonna snitch on me?!" Natsu asked. He was not angry, but he was confused and concerned.

Lisia had the power to tell the entire Void about his decision and ruin him, but instead of doing so, she had a soft look on her face, a caring smile, a smile that could melt the hearts of men and the cold of ice itself. That was her beauty and kindness that contrasted the fact that she could easily kill a million people without a shred of regret.

"You're a weirdo. But...I gotta thank you for that part."

"Go on ahead and see what the outcome is. But...I doubt it will be easy. Getting out of here will be a challenge and you must know that yourself, Master Nastu. You're going to need to make a choice, and that choice may determine the rest of your life."

The Demon Body magic user turned her back on Natsu and walked away from him. She stopped to look back, giving a nod before disappearing into the darkness of a nearby hallway. He was alone in the night. The only thing that remained was his will to fight, and his will to save her. For him, there was no other choice to make.

Erza's life is at risk. Natsu was aware of the dangers of going to save Erza. He was aware that it could mean his life. He knew that his own freedom was at risk and he could be branded a traitor, a rogue that betrayed his own Kingdom. And despite all the risks and dangers that his journey could entail, the only thought in his head was her.

"Just wait, Erza. I'll get you back." Natsu promised to himself. "I will not let you go. Even if it costs my own life. You're the only thing that matters to me." With that, the Fire Dragon Slayer left his quarters. He was determined to save her, and no matter what it takes, he will not stop. He had no regrets and he would do anything, even if it means sacrificing everything that he ever held dear.

Natsu was in a hurry to save Erza. There was no time to waste. His mind raced as he tried to think of a way to get to her quickly,. Travelling on foot wouldn't do since Jellal most definitely came here via transportation magic, a very fast method. Thus, he would have to use some other means of travel, something faster. As he made his way down a hall, the small winged Direwolf known as Dread stood next to the corner of the hall, ready to greet him.

"Dread! I need your help here! We're going on a rescue mission to save Erza. I'll need a ride!"

Dread barked in agreement and transformed. His fur changed from grey to purple, and his wings grew bigger and stronger. As the Direwolf was now big enough to carry him on his back, the Fire Dragon Slayer jumped on.

But as he was ready to fly away, it didn't take long for someone to confront Natsu and his wolf. This one was no ordinary wizard, however, he was a Void Knight. A soldier that is given a special duty by King Alehot. Someone that has the job of guarding the Void Kingdom and ensuring the safety of everyone that resides inside it, from intruders, outsiders, and rogues that were once part of the kingdom but have either been exiled or are currently in the process of exile.

His armor was white and gold with a dragon insignia on its front. The knight's sword was drawn and his hand rested upon his helmet's visor. He glared at the Fire Dragon Slayer through his helmet, which was decorated with a silver emblem that resembled a lion's face. "Natsu Dragneel. His Majesty suspected you would try something like this." The voice was raspy, but still clear and audible.

"Out of my way! I'm getting her back. Even if it means going through you." The Fire Dragon Slayer replied. His eyes narrowed as the flames in his body intensified.

"I can not allow you to leave. His majesty will not tolerate treason. Even for you. His favorite. Surrender. Or die." The Void Knight took his sword out of his scabbard, the metal shining in the torchlight of the halls.

"Surrender?" Natsu spat, "As if. Let me pass or I'll wipe the floor with you." The fire flared up around his body and his teeth gritted, showing off his fangs. Flames were released from the corners of his mouth and his hands, burning and charring the walls behind him.

"You won't." But the Void Knight just wouldn't let him through, holding it out.

"I said...out of my way!" Natsu would leap off his Winged Direwolf and charge towards the Void Knight. With a mighty yell, Natsu unleashed a torrent of fiery fury upon his foe. But the Void Knight managed to block it with his blade. He then swung his sword at the Fire Dragon, slicing the air and the ground, sending chunks of stone and wood flying everywhere. He moved quickly, leaping from place to place, dodging and blocking, his moves were quick and agile, almost like that of an experienced dancer.

"Fire Draogn Iron Fist!" Natsu would lunged in with a blazing fist. But the knight dodged the attack, moving to the side. But Natsu didn't miss a beat. He spun around and kicked him in the side. The force sent him stumbling backward. However, he regained his balance, turning his head to the right.

The Void Knight went on the offensive as a magical aura surrounded his blade, unleashing his unique magic. "Black Sword! Redirect!" A large purple circle would appear in the middle of his chest. "Your attacks will only come back to you! If you don't surrender, they will hit you instead of myself!"

"That's it? I'm not gonna be stopped by such a simple spell!" Natsu was unfazed, but would soon realize what this magic did. His next attack was suddenly absorbed and re-directed at himself, hitting him square in the gut. "GH!" He staggered back from the impact, clutching his abdomen. It hurt a lot more than he anticipated. He grunted in pain.

"You've never seen us in action. All your time in the Kingdom has been spent either in the palace or in the forests. You have yet to see the power of the soldiers and the wizards of our army. Yet, here you are." The knight stated.

"SHUT IT! Fire Dragon ROAR!" A blast of fire was shot at the Void Knight, who simply activated the spell again, redirecting it at Natsu, who got enveloped by his own massive flame and fell on the ground. This was humiliating for the young wizard, to be beaten so badly. He growled in anger and frustration.

"The might of a Fire Dragon is not to be underestimated, and the Void Knights know this. They're the best in the land. You can't hope to defeat me." The man sneered.

"I don't care! I'm saving Erza, no matter what!" With pure determination, he threw a punch once more, prompting the knight to block it once more. However, things were different. Natsu kept driving his fist forward against the sword, the knight believing he couldn't get through, and the flames surrounding the fist kept on increasing in size and strength, eventually overwhelming the magical barrier.

"W-What?!" The Void Knight gasped as Natsu overpowered his magic. Natsu's fist collided with the chest plate of the knight, shattering it and knocking him to the ground. "GUAH!" The knight groaned and rolled over, his helmet falling from his head. After knocking him back with one strike, Natsu didn't waste any time.

He was on the move right away, his Direwolf being by his side and ready to follow him. Without even pausing, they both ran past the downed Void Knight and began sprinting down the hallways of the castle, the sound of their footfalls echoing in their wake. The Void Knight tried to chase after them, but he couldn't catch them, since he was slowed down due to the broken armor pieces. It wasn't a moment longer that Natsu was out of sight. And that was when he felt the cold grip of dread, that a failure on his part could mean his death. That is, unless, he had a scapegoat.

All other guards were alerted of Natsu's sudden actions. He would run to the door of his bedroom. Once there, the Direwolf would stand guard while his master was busy doing whatever. Natsu was worried and afraid, not knowing whether he could handle this on his own or not. But he had to do it.

"Halt, Young Master Natsu!" Some guards appeared in the hallways.

"Get out of my way!" Natsu roared, sliding on the floor and clenching his fist with flames. "Fire Dragon's Flame Flash!" He then thrust his fist forward, summoning a wave of flames to push the guards aside. The flame encompassed the hallway and the guards were engulfed.

More and more guards would keep appearing, but they would always end up getting blown back. Their weapons were no match against the raging flames. The dire wolf would bite into their armors, pulling at them, tossing them to the ground and breaking their bones. A few of them would try to run at Natsu with their spears, only to be knocked back and have their weapons destroyed.

Magical attacks of different kinds were sent in Natsu's direction, some were blocked by his flames, others would explode into a mass of energy, others still would hit the walls and bounce off of them. Natsu would not be denied. More would keep coming and would suffer the same fate, until he finally made it to the outside. Once outside, Natsu and the Direwolf were running across the field. There were a lot of knights and soldiers waiting, but Natsu and his Direwolf didn't seem to slow down.

The Void Knights and the common Void Wizards were not going to go easy. The first line was taken down easily, the next one was more difficult, the third was the most challenging.

"Hraaaah!" Natsu would just keep pushing forward, no matter what. And as he started tearing his way through the guards, from a balcony in the castle, Alehot was watching it all play out from above, Tigha right behind him.

"So, you've made up your mind, Natsu." Alehot said while watching him. "Hm."

"He's actually going through wit it." said Tigha. "Even after what you said he's deciding to try and save her. To be fair, I'm not complaining. I'd love to play around with Erza some more. Her screams are music to my ears."

"He should be deciding and choosing such things. After all, if he is to ever become an emperor, he needs to know how to decide on things and make choices that could change his life. And right now, that's exactly what he is doing." Alehot stated, turning to look at his right hand woman.

"Are we not going to stop him? Reviving Zeref is rather crucial with our alliance."

"...Hm. Let's see how he manages to get through this." Alehot would simply let Natsu progress and see if he could pull it all of. Could he even get out of the kingdom?

Natsu had fought hard and endured a great deal of pain, but his efforts were paying off. The knights, wizards and other combatants were being pushed back and were starting to fall. Their bodies lay scattered on the field. Soon enough, their forces dwindled and were reduced to nothing, allowing Natsu to escape. Now, the boy would find himself at the main gates of the kingdom, ready to make his escape. He turned his attention towards the massive gate up ahead.

But instead of blasting through them, he would get on Dread's back. "Dread, jump over the gate, I'll blast anyone in our way." The wolf would let out a loud growl of affirmation and leap through the air.

Using his fiery magic to propel himself forward, Natsu would blast at anyone in his way and clear the path to the exit. Once the two had gotten to the top, Natsu would leap off, with the Direwolf landing beside him, causing a small quake and cracks to form.

"Let's go." Natsu said, before dashing out. No one else was able to stop the pair, as Natsu's blazing speed and the Direwolf's agility proved to be too much for any remaining opposition.

But the Void Kingdom wouldn't make it that easy for him. As soon as Dread flew through the air, ready to leave the kingdom, the Void Kingdom showed that they had things covered in the air as well. The two of them would see in the distance a large group of riders. They weren't riding horses or anything like that. They were on a dragon-like species called the Wyvern.

Wyverns are a species of dragons that are usually found in cold, arctic areas, and they have been known to eat almost anything that crosses their paths, which was a reason why the Void Kingdom had so much of them, especially the ones that had a particular fondness for human flesh. Some had their mouths covered by metal cages, showing their ferocity.

On their backs, sat the riders. Each one was wearing a unique set of armor, each had their own weapon of choice, and they were all prepared for battle. These were the Wyvern Riders, a highly trained unit of elite aerial troops that specialized in high-altitude warfare. Each of them were carrying spears and lances. However, these lances weren't just ordinary, mundane ones, oh no. Each had a special enchantment cast on it, designed to inflict the maximum amount of damage on its targets.

Natsu could see them. "Shit!" Dread would try to fly higher in the sky, trying to avoid the Wyvern.

"We're not done yet." The leader of the group said, leading the charge, their mounts moving faster than ever, closing the distance between them and Dread.

"DREAD, GO FASTER!"

Dread growled loudly, increasing its speed to the best of its abilities, its wing-beats becoming more frantic and forceful. The Direwolf was determined not to let the enemies catch up to its rider.

Meanwhile, the lead wyvern rider had already caught sight of the escaping Natsu, his eyes narrowed and locked onto the direwolf. He knew that Natsu had been marked by King Alehot, meaning that he needed to stop him. If he didn't, there would be severe consequences.

The leader of the group, the Wyvern Knight Commander, drew a large spear, aiming it directly at Dread and its rider. His weapon was not just a normal spear. Instead, the spearhead was imbued with an enchanted lightning magic.

It was designed to pierce mighty magical defenses and paralyze its victims, leaving them completely helpless and unable to fight back. "This is as far as you go." He would fling it with the full extent of his strength, sending it flying straight at Dread and its rider.

"NO!"

"ROAR!" The beast would roar in response to the attack. Natsu saw that the spear would be on a direct course to hit the direwolf. Not wasting any time, Natsu jumped on top of its head, summoning his fire to act as a shield. The spear would hit the fire, causing an explosion.

The blast would cause Dread to tumble in the air, his wings no longer stable and his balance disrupted. He was no longer able to sustain flight. Gravity had a firm hold on the direwolf, pulling it down towards the ground. Dread tried to stabilize its descent, but it was no use. With a loud crash, the beast and Natsu hit the earth, a cloud of dirt and debris billowing into the air. The shockwave from the impact rippled outwards, shaking the nearby trees and bushes.

"SHIT! I failed..." Dread's body laid in a heap on the floor. The direwolf's breathing was ragged and shallow, a sign of its serious condition. Natsu, who had been on the back of the direwolf when the wyvern knights attacked, was in an even worse shape. He had sustained heavy injuries, a testament to the brutality of the attack. Blood oozed from numerous wounds on his body. His clothes were ripped and torn in several places, and his once proud face was marred with cuts and bruises. He looked weak and exhausted, barely able to lift a finger.

Natsu could hear the wyverns land on the floor, and their riders would come over to him, looking down on him, some had looks of pity, while others were of smugness, and the knight commander would look at him in disdain.

"You're really doing this? Risking it all for some slave?"

"Erza's...not my slave...she's my partner!" Natsu shouted, clenching his fists and rising from the floor, struggling to get on his feet. His legs felt like rubber and his lungs burned. "And there's no way I'm gonna let her die..."

"Give it up, Young Master Natsu. It's best to just let it happen, you'll forget all about her and move on to someone new." the man in armor spoke. "Besides, you've got a whole palace of slaves to play with. You're young, and Erza is just a lowly servant. Let her sacrifice herself to the ritual."

Hearing that only angered Natsu more, the flames within him beginning to build up in response. Alehot continued to observe, narrowing his eyes and speaking to Natsu from afar.

"So. Perhaps you have reached your current limit, Natsu. I suppose this is how a soon-to-emperor suffers his first loss. Unless you truly do have the will to achieve your goal." Alehot spoke while having his arms crossed, his face still calm despite what had transpired.

"I'm not giving up..." Natsu said with a low tone of voice. His fists were now on fire. He was in a lot of pain, and he knew that, in order to continue on, he was going to have to muster up every bit of energy and determination that he had left.

Alehot looked closer as he noticed something rather odd happening. Despite his current state, the flames from Natsu were actually starting to intensify. There was an unusual heat emanating from him. Even though his body seemed to be near collapse, his flame's strength was somehow growing stronger.

"His magic power...it's growing?" Alehot said to himself. "Could it be..." This phenomenon was curious to him, and even the Wyvern Knights were noticing this sudden increase in temperature. It was like the area was being engulfed by a scorching wave. It was clear that something strange was occurring, and that it was coming directly from Natsu himself.

"I'M NOT LETTING ERZA DIE!" Suddenly, without any warning, Natsu's body was suddenly enveloped in a pillar of flame. The fiery column shot upwards, and its heat and intensity could be felt throughout the entire area. It was as if the fire was consuming him and burning away everything in its path. The flames raged with a fury that was impossible to contain. The sheer power of the fire was so intense that no one could even attempt to get close.

"What is that?! That power..." Tigha watched in amazement as the pillar of flame slowly died down. And once it died down, Natsu leapt forward at full force, surprising the Wyvern Knights and the Knight Commander. "Fire Dragon...!"

"Hm!" The Wyvern Knights attacked once more, readying their magic to stop him, but their efforts were in vain as Natsu unleashed a new attack in his arsenal on them. One with a great radius.

"FLAME BURST!" Natsu roared at the top of his lungs. Suddenly, his entire body was covered in flames. The Wyvern Knights, and their wyverns, were unable to withstand the immense heat that was coming from the boy and they began to retreat. Natsu's entire form was radiating with a blazing, orange glow and the flames were shooting out of him in every direction.

"Where did this strength come from?!" The knight commander yelled. And as he wondered, one of the flames reached him, engulfing him and his Wyvern in a bright blaze, forcing them to crash-land to the ground, defeated and unconscious.

The flames roared loudly as they soared off into the distance. They lit the sky with a fierce and beautiful glow, as if the night had been turned to day. The flames kept going and going until they finally stopped, vanishing in the sky above.

"Hah...Hah..." Natsu panted as his body was smoking, the steam from his body evaporating. It was clear that this attack took a lot of energy from him. He looked up at the last of the flames and smiled a little bit before falling back and landing on the grass below.

All of the Wyvern Knights were down for the count, groaning and overwhelmed by Natsu's sudden rise in power. None of them were able to get back to their wyverns, and they couldn't get away. He didn't say anything else. He simply looked down on the Wyvern Knights and their commander before then running off to continue his goal.

"I'll save you, Erza...!" Natsu whispered to himself. His body was aching and tired, yet he had a new vigor. With that in mind, he ran to the tower to rescue Erza from whatever fate was to await her.

"He...actually won that?" Even Tigha couldn't believe it. Her surprise was visible. But Alehot was less than impressed. He was looking down on Natsu with a blank stare.

"Hm." He then smiled after seeing that display of power.

"Lord Alehot. He-"

"Let him go." Alehot allowed Natsu to advance. "Let's see how he gets through this. If he can end up saving Erza Scarlet from the Tower of Heaven, then...he'll prove himself once more. And if not...then perhaps he'll meet a sudden end to his life."

Alehot wanted to test Natsu's resolve and see if his ambition would allow him to overcome any obstacle placed before him, including his own limits and the challenge of rescuing Erza. It was all for the path of the Emperor. But as he looked onwards with a smile on his face, something caught his attention from the side of his eye. "Hm?"

Alehot turned his head, feeling as if he saw something. But as soon as he looked there, it was gone. But he knows for a fact he saw something. Something that wasn't familiar too him at all.

"WHAT?! Erza's going to be killed?!" And the news of what was about to happen to Erza ended up reaching Fairy Tail. And naturally, Gray bellowed upon hearing this, slamming his hand on the table.

"Yes. Our Anonymous Tip managed to gather that." Makarov said. He had someone sharing this info to him as of recently since the Void Kingdom were now active. Their first major move, and they're already threatening to take the life of Erza, just to bring the one they call Zeref back. Of course, that was enough to set a lot of wizards in Fairy Tail on edge, but none were more infuriated than Gray.

"Why those bastards-!" Gray's rage was boiling, but the Master's next words stopped him from letting loose his fury. Not that it was going to change his mind, but the next step is still a question that has to be answered.

"The Tower of Heaven is where they're taking her. All to resurrect the Black Wizard Zeref. I've heard things about Zeref...We're certainly past his time, but he's left many things in the world. Maybe terrible things." Makarov continued. "It's a good thing we were informed about this. Otherwise, she would've been lost to us already."

"We can't just sit by and let Erza die, Master!" The man called Max Alors spoke up, agreeing with Gray. Many of the other Fairy Tail Wizards in the room were in agreement with him, some even saying that if they had the opportunity, then they would save Erza themselves, no questions asked. That was the loyalty the wizards held in Fairy Tail.

"I know. And I'm not going to say anything else that opposes it. We refuse to let Erza die." Makarov was already on the same page and wavelength as them as to be expected. "Thanks to my Anonymous Tip, we know what they're planning and where they're going. So, I assume you all know what needs to be."

"Yeah. We're going to the Tower." Gray narrowed his eyes.

"You won't get there by foot. The Tower is located on a small island on the coast of the Caelum Kingdom south of Fiore. Going by boat is your best option. But it won't be easy. A place like that...reaching it is difficult on purpose, not just because of its distance. Those that are involved with it actively prevent others from getting near that location." Makarov warned them.

"No problem." Suddenly, someone spoke up, replying to Makarov. Sitting on the rails of the stairs was a surprising face. It was the former Guild Member of Phantom Lord now turned Fairy Tail Member, much like Juvia.

Gajeel.

"We just smack them out of the way." He said, currently eating a box of nails.

"T-That guy...?!" A Guild Member gasped as they were all shocked to see Gajeel suddenly here, having arrived from nowhere.

"Well, now she counts as my guildmate too since I'm part of your Guild. What kind of person would I be if I didn't try and help her?" He told the crowd. "If I don't, she won't be around to fight, and that won't do."

"Y-You're a member now?! Since when?" Wakaba exclaimed.

"Oh, just yesterday." Mirajane giggled as naturally, she was the one who gave Gajeel his Fairy Tail Mark, the mark that represented a person's affiliation to a particular Guild.

"Yesterday?" Gray raised his brow, before shaking his head. "Nevermind...I'll ask more later. For now, our focus should be on Erza." He could put the whole Gajeel thing aside and focus only on Erza, who mattered in all of this. "We need to go now!"

"Then go. Save Erza and hopefully, get her back. Prepare yourselves if you need to." Makarov said to them all. "After all, we don't give up on family."

And with that, the group of wizards had prepared and headed out. Saving Erza was the absolute top priority for them, no matter the scenario. Even if it was the Void Kingdom, or anyone else that tried to kill her, their resolve to keep her safe was far greater. They were going to win and get her to live another day. That was their mission. No, that was their promise to their friends. They will not allow her to die.

Some of them were making preperations. Such as Lucy. She ran back home to make sure she was ready to leave and go on this adventure to the Tower. She needed all of the current Keys she had. Aquarius, Taurus, Virgo, Plue, Sagittarius, Horologium, Cancer and Lyra. Plus one more Key she received in her spare time. A Gold one at that.

"Need to hurry and get on the ship..." Lucy said, making sure she had everything.

"My. Your friend is in that much peril, eh?" From the The Book of AED, Aerea spoke to Lucy while she was in a hurry to grab everything that she needed.

"I do! If we don't make it, she could die!" Lucy cried out.

"Hm...Then...I'll help you along the way."

"E-Eh? You'll help me along the way? You mean you'll be coming with me?" Lucy gasped.

"I'm already within you. We are bound after all. You won't need to bring the book since I'm in you regardless. Since you want to save your friend so badly, why not assist?" Aerea asked. "What do you think?"

"Yes, please! Anything to save her!" Lucy accepted it right away. With that agreement, Aerea would chime in for this mission to save Erza from death.

And now, the crew was all here, requiring a ship that would be big enough to carry them all. Unfortunately, at this time, there weren't any. So they would have to all take multiple boats. But, there were only so many boats to choose from.

"Damn. Looks like not all of us are gonna be able to head there at once." A Guild Member noted.

"We'll go ahead. When more boats show up, get on. Hopefully, we've saved Erza by then." Gray decided, heading onto a boat, soon followed by Juvia and Lucy. A few other Fairy Tail Mages hopped in the boats and prepared to set off.

"Aight. Be safe, everyone." Mirajane wished. "Make sure you guys come back in one piece. Especially Erza."

"We'll be fine. We've got the element of surprise on our side here." said Jet.

"We got this. Thanks." Gray nodded at them and then faced forward. "...Alright. Let's go. Time to go and rescue Erza." He said, taking a deep breath. Everyone nodded. Then, he and the other members of Fairy Tail had taken their ships. They were off, sailing to the location of the Tower of Heaven.

And speaking of the Tower of Heaven, the ship that was containing Erza was already on its way there as well. Erza found herself restrained on a ship to the Tower, helpless to stop her own fate, and unable to call out for anyone's help. And right now, after seeing Jellal, her memories kicked in, reminding her of him. Reminding her of their times together in the tower.

She remembered the times when she was still a slave. When the two were young. When the two were in the dark. Jellal was there, sitting with her, giving her words of encouragement, telling her to smile, that her life will have its light. In fact, she was the most positive thing in her life back then. Not just to her, but to other child slaves from the Tower.

And speaking of those child slaves, familiar faces walked in. Erza looked onwards as the doors had opened, and in came two men known was Wally and Shou, the ones that were talking to her earlier. Two people she had recognized from the past.

"It really is her. It's been a long time." Shou smiled at her. "Erza."

"Wally...Shou...!" Erza gasped upon seeing them.

"It's a shame...After all those years, you ended being free, no longer a slave. Only to get enslaved by the Void Kingdom later on." Shou uttered.

"Yeah. That's all kinds of bad luck." Wally added.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this..." Erza said while lowering her head in shame, about to accept her fate as a sacrifice for Zeref's revival.

"Man...Talk about a downer." Shou scratched his hair. "This all sucks, really. To be honest...we really don't wanna do this." Shou and Wally certainly didn't wish for something like this to happen. "None of us do. Not Millianna, Simon and the others. "But it has to be done. After all...you betrayed Jellal."

"W-What!?" Erza was shocked at what she had heard. Betrayed Jellal!? She didn't know what he was talking about.

"This is too much of a downer for me. I'm outta here." Wally turned his body, departing from the room. Shou was about to leave as well but Erza cried out to him.

"W-Wait! Shou!" Erza bellowed, but Shou kept moving along, leaving the room, and shutting the door behind him, locking it afterwards. "Shou!"

Now, three parties were advancing towards the Tower of Heaven. The closest being those that have captured Erza, the Fairy Tail Wizards and Natsu Dragneel, all converging towards that place. Soon enough, a fight would erupt at that tower, one that was bound to be frantic. Natsu was on a boat, currently feeling motion sickness, yet he endured, doing it for Erza. Not only that, he used his nose to sniff out Erza, using it to his advantage.

"W-Wait for me...Erza!"

Hey guys. I've never added this part at the end of the story, but I figured I'd try it out to ask something. I'm enjoying writing this story, but fully curious, what other Fairy Tail Crossover would you all like to see in the future? Whether it be Natsu alone or the rest of the guild, you can share some ideas with me. Not that I'll be writing it immediately since I wanna go the distance with this one, but I'd like to write it at some point and maybe write it while this is ongoing. I'll figure that part out but let me know what crossovers you'd like to see. Thanks for reading.
