Sky and his friends returned back at the clock tower after working.
"Well, another hard days work done here." Jack said.
"You said it, but we made a lot of money this time." Bridge said.
"Great might as well buy a few more groceries to last us a while." Z said.
"I don't know about you guys, but I need to shower." Syd said.
"Just don't take too long, you used up all the hot water last time." Sky said.
"Yeah Syd, we all had to shower with cold water." Jack said.
"Not to mention keeping the water running for too long." Z said.
"May we remind you it's not a spa here." Bridge said.
"Sorry. For trying to be extra clean while we're still here." Syd said, when RIC heard the door knock and went running downstairs.
"RIC! RIC! Get back here!" Sky shouted, running after him downstairs, when he came down seeing it was Tyler, Megan, and Andrea here.
"Hey guys. What brings you all here?" Sky asked.
"Well, we made sure you were here." Megan answered, and RIC greeted them.
"Hi RIC. How are you?" Andrea said, petting him.
"I just got back from work, we were just going to stay here and not go anywhere." Sky said.
"Since you don't have plans, our dad and your step-dad wanted to invite you along with us to just spend the day." Tyler said.
"You know, like family time. Now that my dad is here, he wants to spend some time with us." Andrea said.
"Doesn't surprise me, probably to make up the time since he left us." Sky said.
"Our dad is doing the same with us, and wants to catch up with us too." Megan said.
"What do you say? For old times, like when we were kids." Tyler said.
"He's giving us a chance here. Please." Andrea said.
"Sure. Why not." Sky responded.
"Great. There at the park right now, so we can meet up with them there." Megan said.
"Okay. Let me just go get changed, and let my friends know, where I'm going." Sky said.
"Sure, go ahead. Will wait for you." Tyler said.
"RIC here is keeping us companied." Andrea said.
"Be back in a bit." Sky said, as he went upstairs to change his clothes.
"Who's here, Sky?" Jack asked.
"It better not be more work, I'm beat here." Syd said.
"Relax princess, it's only Tyler, Megan, and Andrea here." Sky responded.
"Oh! Okay. For a minute I thought we had more work for us to do." Bridge said.
"No. You guys are good, apparently my step-dad wants to spend some time with me and Andrea." Sky said.
"That's good, at least he'll have some time to catch up with you and your sister." Z said.
"I guess you can say that. Well, I'll be back later. See you guys." Sky said, then went downstairs. "Alright, I'm ready let's go." Sky said. "RIC. Go upstairs." RIC refused and wanted to follow them. "No RIC. You can't come."
"Let him come, Sky. Please." Andrea said.
"Okay fine. He can come, let's just get going." Sky said, as they were heading their way out with RIC following along with them.
"Now that Sky left there is something I have to tell you guys." Syd said.
"What is it, Syd?" Jack asked.
"Well, yesterday when we were at the arcade, I asked Andrea if her dad has ever tried to date anyone." Syd answered.
"What did she say?" Z asked.
"That it was hard for him after Andrea and Sky's mom had died and hasn't set eyes on any other woman." Syd explained.
"Well, to what we saw the other day is the contrary." Jack said.
"Like I mention before, Jack. The way I saw it, didn't seem like they were having good time, they were serious about something." Bridge said.
"Anyway, I even asked her what would happen if her dad started dating someone and if she and Sky would be okay with it." Syd said.
"What was her response there?" Jack asked.
"That she wouldn't be okay with it, and would also mean her dad would forget about her mom, even if dating someone, and wouldn't keep this a secret from both Sky and Andrea." Syd explained.
"He pretty much is keeping it a secret if you ask me." Jack said.
"Or maybe he's just giving himself some time on how he'll tell them." Z said.
"Am I the only one who is thinking something else here?" Bridge said.
"Anyway, from her opinion she said her dad wouldn't love anyone who isn't her mom and knowing Sky, he would never speak to him." Syd explained.
"She's right on that, we all know how Sky gets upset about something." Jack said.
"I sort of felt bad for asking her that, but she told me not to mention this to Sky on what I just talked about with her." Syd said.
"Your right, Syd. We shouldn't tell him about this." Z said."
"You guys, do you hear yourselves here, I don't think Sky's step-dad isn't dating anyone, they were both talking serious and like I said before he's hiding something not just from Sky but with everyone else." Bridge said.
"Well, Bridge all I can say we might as wait and find out, before its too late." Jack said.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to go shower now." Syd said.
"Just don't take too long." Z said.
"And no using up all the hot water." Bridge said.
"I think RIC followed Sky again, he didn't come upstairs." Jack said.
"You know he has always favorited Sky." Bridge said.
"Of course, he would." Jack said.
Meanwhile
At the park, Sky, Andrea, Tyler, and Megan were sitting at a park bench along with their parents, having a little picnic.
"Glad you had time to join us Sky, even if by last minute." Eric said.
"I didn't have much to do after my friends and I got off work." Sky said.
"Dad. I'm so glad you and Eric had an idea like this, I felt like I haven't see you in a while." Andrea said.
"We both thought we put work aside and spent some time with you." Alex said.
"RIC here also wanted to join us." Megan said.
"At least he's a robot dog and won't have to grab food off the table." Tyler said, as RIC barked.
"Well, the good thing is that I didn't work today, and Eric decided to get off work early." Taylor said.
"You know this sort of reminds me before Taylor and I started dating we were only just friends, we were on our way to meet up with Sky's parents at this same park." Eric said.
"Though on our way to meet up with them, we had a bit of car trouble, but nothing bad, we were only a few minutes late, when we arrived at the park seeing both Sky's parents laying on the ground and making out." Taylor said, and they all started to laugh.
"Must have been awkward to see them like that." Sky said.
"I'll say, but hey that's what happens when your in love." Eric said, when Sky was about to grab a napkin and Megan too as both their hands touch.
"Sorry. I didn't see your hand there." Sky said.
"Neither did I, but go ahead and grab it." Megan said.
"No. You can grab the napkin." Sky said.
"It's fine, you can take it." Megan said.
"You know there is more napkins here." Andrea said.
"Oh. Sorry." both Sky and Megan said.
"For a minute, I thought it was going to be ongoing." Tyler said.
"Remember that time when we were both at the bank then suddenly some robbers came in, we had no choice but to obey their orders." Eric said.
"How could I forget, it was like a nightmare." Alex said.
"Was that when I asked about how you hurt your arm and you told me you saved Eric from not getting hurt." Sky said.
"How did that happen there?" Andrea asked.
"We both bent down on our knees with our hands up the robbers approached us to put anything valuable in the bag, I took out my wallet and watch then put them in their bag." Eric explained.
"I didn't have anything on me to give and one of them hit me with their gun and fell on the floor." Alex said.
"I tried to see if he was alright, but one of them had their gun pointed to my head, and threatned to kill me if I tried to move, I then swung my arm and it knocked the gun off his hand then started to fight him. I didn't know the other robber behind me if Alex didn't warn me and knocked off the gun from his hand too." Eric said.
"I grabbed both the guns then tossed one to Eric and we both took down those robbers, though one hit me with his gun and I was barely conscious." Alex said.
"I went after the robber and stopped him from escaping, while he was on the ground, I went to go see if Alex was okay and he shouted to lookout, as I was about to turn around, not knowing the robber had his gun and Alex knocked me down." Eric said.
"I ended up getting shot in the arm, luckily the doctors managed to remove the bullet in my arm, though it caused some bone damage, I didn't loose a lot of blood, I had to wear an arm sling for a while." Alex said.
"I received a call from one the Silver Guardians that Eric was in the hospital, I thought he was hurt, I left Tyler and Megan with the babysitter and rushed to the hospital. When I arrived, I was relieved he was okay." Taylor said.
"Unbelievable. You took a bullet for Eric." Sky said to Alex.
"Would have done the same with anyone." Alex said.
"I am amazed by you, dad. You risked your life there." Andrea said.
"You must have been surprised on how he saved you, dad." Tyler said.
"Couldn't believe it myself when he did, if it wasn't for him I would have been dead." Eric said.
"None of us couldn't imagine if something bad ever happened to you, dad." Megan said.
"The good thing is you both are alive and here with us today." Taylor said.
"Now I understand on how you hurt your arm and how you saved Eric." Sky said.
"Glad you told us about it, knowing so much on you both being brave." Andrea said.
"Let's start to pick up here, it's going to get dark soon." Eric said.
"Everything was good, thanks for inviting me." Sky said.
"Before we call it a day, there is something I need to do with both of you." Alex said.
"Sure. What is it?" Sky asked.
"You'll see." Alex answered.
"If you say so." Sky said.
"Come on, will give you all a ride." Eric said, as they all went in the car and RIC jumped in along too, as they were laughing too, then started to drive their way.
