Hello Everybody, sorry It's been so long since I've posted, life has been busy, but its hear now, and I'll try to do better at posting it sooner.

Chapter 14:

The worst day of my life started out with a beautiful sun rise over the ocean. I stretched legs and filled my lungs with the salty air. I was completely unaware of what the day would bring.

"up and at em' you salty old sea dogs, all paws on deck," I shouted.

The ship was soon bustling with activity. Old Pete started singing The Wellerman and Bay and Skipper took to the rigging. Reef took the crows nest and Sarah grabbed a sponge and started cleaning the deck, she really liked that job. And Diego and Hacker started tonguing one of our whales and Antonio and cottontail started sharpening some harpoons. I took the helm with Jack by my side. I let out an exited yip-howl, ready for a new day at sea.

Hacker's POV

I sat down and grabbed a tonguing knife. I started to work, but the voices in my head wouldn't leave me alone. One side of me was telling me I needed to repent of my sin and the other was telling me to move on to the next pirate mission. But eventually the "Good Dog" inside of me won the fight.

"i've got to tell him," I whispered to myself.

I set the knife down and went to confess my sin to Zuma. But Bay, the one who was in charge of me, stopped me.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, where do you think your going," Bay said tapping his paw on the deck.

"I need to talk with the captain," I said.

"I don't think so, you'll have to wait until your shift is done, then you can speak with him." Bay said.

"Bay please this is really important, it's, ….. The captains friends are in trouble, please let me go," I asked.

Bay gave me a suspicious look, but let me go. I rushed up towards the helm of the ship.

"CAPTAIN, Captain… I need to talk with you….. alone," I said, panting.

"Bobby?" Zuma said with confusion. "Your suppose to be working."

"I know, but Captain, I need to tell you something," I said.

Zuma's POV

"Dude, can it wait, I'm busy and you need to…" but I was cut short by a sharp yip.

"ZUMA," Skye yipped, landing on the deck.

I was so surprised.

"Skye! What's wrong?" I asked.

Her face was as pale as a cloud and in her paws was a roll of parchment.

"We need to talk," She said, panting from the jouney.

"Okay, hoist the sails, drop anchor, Take a break everyone," I said.

I lead Skye to my cabin and shut the door behind us.

"What happened Skye?" I asked with concern.

She handed me the parchment.

"Read for yourself," She said.

"Huh, leave it to Ryder to be so formal," I said, chuckling a little.

But as I read my slight smile vanished. The message read, Zuma, it saddens me to tell you this, because it is hard to talk about. Adventure Bay was attacked by the infamous Pirate Captain Black Fur. Somehow he survived your attack on him. He looted the town and took Ella. Zuma I know you resigned from your spot on the PAW Patrol, but I need you, Ella needs you, please Zuma, I need you to be a PAW Patroller one last time, Signed Ryder. I looked up at Skye in shock. The news had hit me like a cannon Blast- Adventure Bay, the place I'd called home, was gone. The docks scorched, the market place ransacked, and worst of all, Ella was gone. Taken by none other than Captain Black Fur, the most ruthless pirate who ever sailed the Seven Seas.

"Why me?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"You know the oceans better then any of us. Your the only one who can Save Ella," Skye said.

I looked down at the message, then back at Skye. Soon an angry scowl formed on my face.

"LOWER THE SAILS, GET THEM INTO THE WIND, TOPS GALLANTS AND ROYALS, HOIST THE ANCHOR, MOVE YOU DOGS, MOVE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT," I screamed.

The crew snapped into action, startled by my sudden command. The sails came fluttering down and the ship began to move again.

"What's going on Capin'?" Jack asked.

"Ever hunted a pirate, Jack?" I asked.

"what, uh no can't say I have."

"Well then this will be new for both of us," I said.

"What are you talking about?" Jack asked with confusion.

"Captain Black Fur, he's alive and he has Ella, My Ella, where going to find him," I growled.

"Aye, where too first cap?" Jack asked.

"Adventure Bay, we'll start there."

"Capitán Tormenta por delante, we're heading right into a squall," Diego shouts.

Batten down the hatch, hoist the sails, anything we can afford to loose, get rid of it," Jack commanded.

Suddenly the ship began to rock back and forth. Its bow dipped down bellow the waves. The water splashed all around us. The crew was frantically trying to save the ship. But I had something else I needed to do. I went to the bow and knelt down on my front paws and prayed.

"God I…. I know I'm probably the last dog in the world you want to talk to right know. God I know I'm a sinner, oh who am I kidding, I'm more then a sinner, I'm a stupid, worthless, drunk, mutt, God I know I deserve hell," I prayed though the roaring of the waves.

"Captain, what are you doing, we need your orders, were going to die!" Jack yelled.

"Jack don't ever interrupt a dog when he's barring his soul to God," I scolded.

Jack Fell silent and stepped back. I continued praying.

"God I deserve to be swallowed up by the sea and dragged down to the depths of hell were I should belong. But God, Ella is in danger, because of me. Her paws are clean, she's done nothing but serve you faithfully, please god, show this drunk dog mercy, so I can save her," I cried burying my face in my paws.

Suddenly the wind stopped blowing. And the waves quite their splashing. I laid on the deck crying into my paws. The crew looked up in silent shock, until Jack broke the silence.

"What in the name of Davy Jones just happened," Jack said.

I lifted my head, tears streaming down my face.

"You've spared me, oh God, you've spared my life," I cried.

I sat their for a few moments, crying and thanking God for his mercy. Until finally Jack spoke up.

"What's our orders captain."

I turned to him, my eyes blazing. "we find her," I said. "And Stop Black Fur."

"Aye Captain," Jack said.

"Full sail dogs, we sail for Adventure Bay." I shouted to the crew. I turned to Skye. "Skye Fly back and get the rest if the pups ready, reach out to Tracker if you can, we'll hunt Black Fur until we save Ella," I said.

"Yes Captain," Skye said with a smile.

"Whoa, can't say I've ever had my friend call me Captain before, but okay, lets do this," I said.

Skye took off and we sailed towards home, or what was left of it anyway. We sailed for a few weeks until we reached our destination. When we docked, Skye, Chase, Rocky, Tuck, and Tracker where waiting on the scorched dock.

"What are our orders Captain Zuma," Chase said.

"First things first, where's Marshal," I asked.

"He's at the look out treating the wounded that Black Fur Left behind, why?" Rocky asked.

"Okay, I need him to look after Antonio. His leg was broken in a whaling accident and I want him to stay out of this conflict," I said.

Antonio surprisingly didn't argue with me. He just nodded his head as Rocky lead him to the lookout. Once Rocky returned I started working on the plan.

"Okay, our mission is to find Black Fur, and get Ella back, but the problem is that the oceans are huge, I don't know where Black Fur could have gone?" I said.

"I know," Hacker said from behind me.

Slowly I turned in confusion.

"What, I don't understand?" I said.

"Your friend…. Ella Labrador…. She… she was taken, because of me. My name is Hacker pug, and I'm a pirate spy," Hacker said revealing a skull and crossbones branded on his wrist.

"Why you son of a mutt, Chase arrest him please," I commanded.

Chase rushed over and put Canine paw shackles around Hackers front paws.

"Wait, wait, wait, I can help you!" Hacker pleaded.

"Oh shut up traitor," Jack snapped.

"Wait Jack, keep talking," I said.

"I was convicted that I was doing the wrong thing. The only reason I've confessed is because of you Sarah," Hacker said looking at Sarah with sad eyes. "that night when you told me I didn't have to follow my family. I'm sorry Sarah, I know what I did was wrong. Zuma you need me, I know where Black fur is, and I know his plan."

"Where's my sister, pirate," Tuck growled.

"Yeah, I want my Ella back, were is she," I growled, drawing a rapier sword I'd found on the ship.

"Black Fur would have sailed south, to the strait of the Dammed and into Skull cove. Your Ella is their, and I want to help undo this mess I made," Hacker said.

I looked at him skeptically, I searched his eyes for any signs of a lie. But all I found was genuine truth and hunger to fix his mistakes.

"Very well, Chase let him go. You will help us, and if you slip up, I will not hesitate to lock you in the brig, understand." I said, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Aye sir," Hacker said obediently.

"Full sail dogs, we sail for Scull cove," I shouted.

And off we went. To save our friend and bring an end to Black Fur's reign of terror. But what I didn't know, was all the pain Ella was going though.

Ella's POV

I sat on the deck of Black Furs ship, The Dark Fang. He kept me Chained to the main mast, with an iron shackle around my neck. The crew were often drunk and always making fun of me, ocasionally beating on me, and other things I don't want to talk about. But what they really liked to do was to pet me like I was some kind of lap dog. At first I would fight them off, but eventually I got so tired I just quite fighting.

"Hehe, did anyone ever tell you what pretty fur you have," mocked one of the crew.

"Leave me alone," I whimpered.

"No really, its so beautiful I just want to sit their and stroke it," He said reaching for my fur.

I weakly swatted at his paw, but I was to tired to fight him. I gagged as his muddy, greasy paw ran through my once clean fur.

"Wormwood!" Black Fur yelled. "You leave her alone."

"Aw, But Captain, she has such pretty fur," Wormwood complained.

"That "Pretty Fur" is going to get me what I want. And no greasy, drunk, mutt is going to mess it up for me now," Black fur hissed.

Black Fur undid the chain on the mast and began to drag me to his cabin. Their he locked the door behind him. Inside his cabin was a lot nicer then I had expected. There was a few soft dog beds, and a table of meat and vegetables. Black Fur secured the chain to a loop on the wall so I couldn't try and escape. We were out in the middle of the ocean, but I was a lab, and I was sure if I wanted to I could swim to shore. But I knew for one thing, I was too tired to swim anywhere and two, I wouldn't know which way to go.

Black Fur then told me to eat some food. At first I refused, expecting him to be angry. But instead he just sat their and watched me. And eventually the pangs of hunger over took me, and I at the food he gave me. From then on he kept me chained in his cabin.

"Why do you need me?" I asked one day.

"Because, your friend, Zuma Labrador has what I want. My spy Hacker Pug, told me that you two seamed to love each other. So I took you knowing that Zuma will give anything to get you back. Once Zuma is out of my way, the seas will finally belong to me alone," Black Fur said with a menacing laugh.

"Oh no, Zuma," I whispered to myself.

"Have a good rest Ella, trust me, your gonna need it," Black Fur laughed.

He locked the door behind him and went back up to the helm.

"Oh Zuma be careful, and Please hurry," I said to myself.

Zuma's POV

Poor Ella. Don't worry, I'm coming for you. I'll be their Soon.

Oh no, Black Fur has Ella, and he has set a trap for Zuma. Will Zuma fall for the trap, or will hi find a way around it, find out next time on PAW Patrol: The Wellerman.
