Hours later
In the morning
Exhaustion overtook the couple. As they ended up wrapped up in each other's arms. In the large bed. Everything that had taken place the night before sealed and grew their bond and connection.
They were in love. Safe and free with each other.
Brooke awoke slowly. A smile on her face. As she turned as looked to Lucas.
He was already awake. The sunlight streamed through the various windows.
Lucas smiled up at her. Leaning over to kiss her softly.
Brooke kissed him back. Smiling as he caressed her face.
Running his fingers through her sweat soaked hair.
(I love you.) Brooke said softly.
(I love you more.) Lucas proclaimed.
(I just want to stay here with you for awhile longer.) Brooke said.
(Marry me.) Lucas said.
Brooke smiled scanning his his face.
It was then that Lucas turned from her. And revealed a ring book.
Brooke was stunned. Speechless. Tears welling up in her eyes.
(You are my life. My love. My present. Future. Other half.)
(I want to build a life and family. As we live together in a home.)

He cupped her face and kissed her face. Kissed her softly.
Brooke kissed him back. As they made love for a final time.
Brooke's eyes went wide. He touched his face.

As he began to make love to her slowly.
