(You're probably right.) (I shouldn't of brought that up to you.)
(Peyton is a sore subject.) Lucas replied
(You can come to me about anything.))
(We're teammates and partners in life.) Brooke replied.
Brooke sighed deeply. Looking away.
(Something is obviously bothering you. Talk to me.) Lucas insisted.
(I've watched Haley. Bevin and especially Peyton.)
(She got pregnant twice without issues or really trying.)
(Ive wanted and longed to experience carrying life inside of me and giving birth.)
(Knowing I can't go through that. Knowing I can't give the man I love so much.)
(What he longs for hurts me deeply.)
(I just wish things were different. I want to be a momma so badly breaks my heart.)
(I know you want to be a dad. That plays into you believing Peyton in all this too.)

I hugged her and said what she needed to hear.
Knowing deep down my want and desire out fatherhood would never go away.

The rehearsal dinner. Brought Brooke out of her sadness and feeling as if her body had betrayed her.
Lucas was grateful and relieved to the woman he loved feeling better.
They would be getting married very soon.
