To all my loyal readers, again, sorry, not a chapter. However, there is still no need to be alarmed. I know, it's been a while since I updated and a while before the previous time too. So what I will say is that there actually was a reason to be concerned. For the past six months, I have been wondering about this series as I sort of lost my way and had been considering letting it go. But the fact that so many of you really like it convinced me to keep going. But I was feeling like I'd lost track of all the story arcs I'd started which is why I doubled down on how exactly I wanted this to go. Not everything is planned out, but now I have a much better idea of how I want things to go for the different characters. If you paid attention to the last update, you'll see I'm adapting certain plotlines from Marvel stories which will be really fun and I'm super excited to share it all with you.
As for this coming chapter, it will be soon. I initially was going to do 3 pov characters throughout but I realized that wouldn't work as it would be way too long and possibly too confusing. So instead it'll still focus mainly on Todoroki's cosmic story with short scenes from two other characters that will continue in the next chapter. I am sorry for the delay but now that I've got that planned, writing's going more smoothly and I'm having a lot more fun. I promise the wait will be worth it. This chapter is called Guardians of the Galaxy v the High Evolutionary and will feature lots of crazy action. Also, the ending will contain one of the coolest storylines I came up with.

Todoroki stared at the sight in front of him, trying his best to make sense of it. "The Guardians of the Galaxy?" he repeated.
"Ah, so you've heard of us then?" the tattooed man cried.
"Yes, you just told me," Todoroki said but the man wasn't listening.
"Then of course you know of the Guardians' most fearsome warrior: Drax the Destroyer, and I will take you down with one blow with my incredible strength you red-and-white haired scoundrel!"
He suddenly leapt towards Todoroki, pulling two large knives out. Todoroki acted fast, a fresh sheet of ice bursting from his right side and enveloping the man, holding him fast in its cold embrace. Todoroki gasped, a sharp chill running through him from Quirk overuse.
"Drax!" the woman cried. "Are you ok?"
"This icy prison will not hold me!" the man declared, flexing his muscles. Todoroki grimaced, seeing the cracks forming along his ice as this Drax struggled against it. He was tempted to add more ice but had a feeling at this point it wouldn't help. His right side was exhausted, his ice powers weak as a result.
A good thing he had his other side.
FOOM!
His left side bloomed with flames, the heat rapidly rising thanks to it. Todoroki sighed in relief, feeling his right side warming up, though it would still be out of commission for a little while. Todoroki wasn't really pleased with the idea of fighting with his fire on a spaceship like this, but it didn't look like these two were going to give him a choice. Then again, he wasn't alone.
"Ooh, pretty!" the woman said, staring right at his fire.
"Your temperature tricks are no match for my incredible strength!" Drax roared as he shattered his way out of the rest of the ice, freeing himself. "Prepare yourself, you icy hot warrior!"
