"He was a half-demon, and she was human, but not just any human; a shrine maiden. Together they had set themselves the goal of taming the beast inhabiting his inherited demon blood, and so make it submit until it gave in, docile, to the shrine maiden's hands."

.

InuYasha could note the tension, taking over his body, as Kagome approached with that heavy sound of metal against metal. The odor of humidity and old ash, coming off the place they were in, was all too evident. He half-veiled his eyes in order to focus entirely on the woman in front of him; the light coming from the oil lamps they had lit, were softly dancing on the colors of her shrine maiden clothes, and her dark hair, long and loose. The weight she was carrying was slowing her steps, which were leaving a footprint on the wooden floor they were on.

"Allow me to help you," InuYasha requested, once again, and once again Kagome refused. She first did so with a composed gesture, to then resort to words.

"You promised obedience. You accepted that," she reminded him.

InuYasha closed his hands into fist, stifling the desire to break that pact, leaving behind that incomprehensible idea that had them there.

"I know," he uttered bitterly. By then, Kagome was already by his side.

His sighed, then tried to find a resignation that didn't seem to fit into his character. InuYasha knew himself wild and indifferent to the rest, when it came to his freedom; except for her. Kagome was able to make him do things he had never thought about, breaking limits he could not conceive. He reminded himself then, that such an untamed blood that was running through his veins, youkai blood, was the very reason he was seeking an alternative way of dominance.

Tessaiga had been his seal. The sword had managed, for a long time, to keep the beast inside him sleeping. Yet not anymore; that was the reason for his presence here. It was an old temple, far away from human settlements, and over it, hung a myth of ghosts born from a horrendous tragedy, brought by the hand of one of the many wars that had happened the last century. Miroku told him that such a myth was but a popular belief that had spread so far, it had made of the place, a lonely one. Even while considering that, however, there was an unknown factor in the strategy that his current partner had proposed as help for his problem. He even came to think that only a crazy, or fearless human could believe herself able to tame a beast; a thought that made him silence the irony that almost escaped him through a smile.

"Extend your arms," Kagome requested in a soft tone, although not meeting his gaze, "doing this, we'll be able to discern what inhabits your heart. Hanyou or youkai."

InuYasha held back a shiver, fearing the answer. He extended both naked arms to his partner, so she could place a shackle on each of his wrists.

A/N

Another story born from the idea of domination, and since I don't know how to make it easy for myself, I've built a context that is making it a bit difficult to just write about sex, because of sex. However, I believe that will also make these drabbles more interesting.

Thank you for keeping me company, reading and commenting.
