Actually yes, I thought about caple of potential reasons to explain why they are there. There are exactly 3 reasons that I mused.

1-Saying that this beings proceed their god and ending at it...

That I think about it. A lot of funfics say something about this god, Brimmir, but there is no actual info on this stupid guy.

It just says that that Brimir was the founder, that the four rings that are passed down in all of four kingdoms were originally his, that he was the first void mage and that he had four familiars (? I think) And that's it. Literally It! This guy is not important! Like at all! No one should even think about him! Not like you can talk to the guy. The only interesting thing is that the number four appeard three times! Which must not be a...

Tabitha POV - After the accident

Stupid Louise! Tabitha couldn't stop herself thinking. Louise's actions were extremely risky and she was lucky that the only think that had happened to her is life-long disfigurement.

Sigh

It would be wise to search a little more about the symbol and the god to predict what could be happening later. This kind of matter never end on just one accident.

To the Library.

Finding the book on the god of fear and hunger was weirdly easy.

The book describes how was the god created. Which was apparently from a human child and a god of the depths, who died because of the ritual, their fusion created the god of fear and hunger.

The child never felt any hope and was rised in the 'darkest pits of human creation' where the child knew only fear and hunger.

The god represents the motivation that fear brings to people and the hunger which keeps them moving.

The weird thing is that this god has no name, just the title. 'The god of fear and hunger', unlike other gods like Rher, the trickster god, Gro-goroth, the destroyer of man and so on.

Maybe because the child was a no one? The child's sex wasn't even stated, we don't even know how 'the child' looked like... Well it doesn't really matter now.

The book was written by Enkin Ankarian, he had written all the books on all the olden gods, I wonder how he got all the knowledge about them.

There is a description how the god looks like. There is even a drawing. It depicted the same ominous statue that appeared in the summoning circle.

Hmmm...!

There is the information on the sigil that Louise drew on herself... It is magical in nature... It strengthens agility and flexibility of the person's body which the sigil is carved on... It also says that it is permanent...

Sigh.

I ended reading the book, got up from the table, took the lamp that illuminated my reading with me and put the book on the shelf.

Louise POV - Afer Knocking

Tabitha let me to her room. She closed the door behind me.

She turned to me.

She looked me in the eyes, angry.

"You out done yourself this time, Louise." It was the longest sentence Louise had ever heared Tabitha say.

Louise's ears started to ring.

"What happened?"

"You made a deal with a old, nearly forgotten god and now you have to deal with it!"

Louise quickly brought her arms to her ears covering them.

"P-please don't shout."

Tabitha's weak voice was like a choir of trumpets trumping with all their might.

"C-can you help me?"

"No. I cannot."

Louise's face paled.

"What?! Put a... a silencing spell on me at least!" Louise flinched on her own volume.

"It won't work."

"Why?!"

"Because you can hear without ears."

"..."

Louise's confusion was apparent.

"It's like sixth sense. You don't have to be in the room to hear what is being said."

"..."

"You started to 'feel' things, didn't you? Some things and even some people started to have this 'feel' to them? This is your sixth sense, congratulations."

"Can I reverse it?"

"No, but you can mute it a little. Look at this."

She showed me the book she was holding.

'Runes. Their applications. And how to make them.'

"I wasn't really honest with you ealier. I can help you, but you should learn to help yourself." She came to her desk opened the drawer and she pulled out a white featureless mask. " I am no expert on runes, but it should help you mute your sixth sense a little and cover your face."

"Why would I cover my face?"

She pulled out a small mirror out of nowhere. And showed me... my face...

I would be lying If I said that I didn't flinch.

Mutelated thing it was.

Many cuts adorned my face, many deep, most shallow. Majority combined into many RЯ symbols. The thicker lines clearly showed the meat beneath. Weirdly no blood was being spilled. My 'face' (As if it still can be called that) had no blood on it.

"O-Okey. P-please put it away."

She put away the mirror and gave me the mask.

I quickly put it on.

"It's weird. I remember you carving only one symbol. So why is there more? Well anyway. How do you feel now?"

"Ohh. So much better..."

Her own voice was still very loud, but it was still better than before. She still could hear the beating of Tabitha's heart, but only Tabitha's. And it too was muted a little.

"Thank you. I will never forget it. If you ever need anything you can go directly to me. I will go now. Have a great night."

Tabitha only smiled softly at Louise.

How did you like it? I was working on it every night. (Because I write the best at night.)

The funnest thing about making this chapter was the sixth sense. Thinking the reason why silencing spell wouldn't work was mental gimnastics in on itself.

I don't really have anything else to say.Well one thing

There will be more chapters but I just write slow. As I really don't want to repeat the 5 events that happen in all the FoZ funfics. Which are the Guiche incident, the maid rescue incident, the magic sword incident, the forquet incident (which I hate the most) and the princess meeting incident. Which incidents nearly never have any pay off because in 100k words the people who made them couldn't fit theirs oh so original ideas of repeting the 5 events but with different summoned character this time! (But the effect is weirdly always the same.) I have to take a spin to those events or just scrap them. (like the stupid fouquet storyline or the useless-but-not-so-useeless-oh-wait-it's-useless-againsword/ Very-important-sword-I-swear-believe-me sword.)
