A/N: Bit of a shakeup here, I know. Life's been yanking my chain lately.

I'll be taking the rest today and tomorrow off -from writing, not work- to bring you something truly special on Tuesday and every day after. A week of near constant updates, that's all I can say for now, don't want to spoil things.

We'll begin with Practice Makes Perfect on Tuesday. The rest will be...a surprise. Especially with you know what coming...

My old car finally broke down -transmission problems- so I'm up a creak without a paddle at the moment, to say nothing of caring for my sister who's recovering from surgery. Hopefully the costs won't be too much. Still waiting on the mechanic to call me back and praying for a miracle. If I don't put the money together by the end of the month, I'm screwed.

And if that happens...I might just lose my mind. I don't have thousands of dollars to throw away on something like that, least of all up front. I've spent SIXTEEN YEARS writing on this site, but this year alone has been truly exasperating. But enough about little 'ol me. Despite my injuries, despite RWBY being liquidated by Warner Bros and despite Long Covid, I'm still here.

Please let me know what you think; I'm having a bit of a mental breakdown today.

So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others.

As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes. Not a wit or one. They're tributes, one and all.

I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world, one word at a time.

Time and feedback will determine if this remains a story. Simple as that.

In other words...its up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!

Obvious Teaser is obvious: A Most Unlikely Berserker...

"Why can't we all just be honest without ourselves?

Life would be so much easier if we were.

Wouldn't you agree?"

~An Old Soldier.

A Most Unlikely Kiss

"Kiss me."

Naruto's brow shot into his hair.

Mordred watched that, it, him, his eyes, hell, all of him; body coiled tighter than a spring.

Damnit. She missed her armor. She felt naked in this getup and she'd had entirely too much to drink. Her sole consolation was that he seemed just as tipsy as she; his whiskered cheeks flushed, eyes half lidded as he leaned back against the table. Damn zombie always looked good no matter what he wore.

Wasn't fair.

"You, ah," he paused once to reorient himself and find his words. "Wanna run that by me again?

She shifted her legs under the table, hitched up her red dress and crawled into his lap, all but pressing him against the booth, nose brushing his as she leaned in. No one in the pub noticed them. Good. Great. Grand. If someone interrupted her, she was absolutely going to die from sheer embarassment. Or kill someone. Wasn't sure witch.

This close, she could feel his breath on her face, see his eyes flit down to her lips.

She growled at him. "I said kiss me you BAS-

Her words cut off in a muffled groan as he surged up to kiss her.

His mouth met hers as she grabbed onto him, locking her arms around behind his neck as his hands settled on her hips...

A/N: We'll cut it there for now, tease though it is.
