Ok, everyone. Let's get started.

Kon let out a heavy sigh as he walked down the streets of Japan towards the U.A building. Last night was more difficult than any other before he arrived in Japan, it didn't help that he stayed up late last night staring at the TV looking over the news. He knew it wouldn't help him, but he needed to know what was going on, needless to say, he wasn't surprised. So many were wondering what the hell was going through his head, was this U.A's fault? Was he some monster that loves killing? What would his dad think if he saw this?

That last question kept him up last night more than he thought it would, he knew it wasn't his fault, but he didn't even want to think about what his dad would be doing if he knew what happened. Then there was the fight itself, it was taken off the news because of how gruesome it was but it didn't take long for him to find it. He was stuck in a permanent wince at the footage, it was bad but the matter-of-fact thinker in him was a little amazed that he was able to do it without really thinking about it…... or was he thinking about it and just couldn't remember?

It wasn't lost on him that he would know that answer if he just agreed with his mom, but he still wasn't going to. Then there were the emails he had to send to U.A and try to do something to clear the air on the situation and probe as to whether or not he was even allowed to come back in the first place, he had to admit he was surprised to see a response so quickly. In ten or so minutes, Nezu sent an email back that asked if he was able to come in tomorrow so they could discuss the next steps, he didn't know if that was an idea of what they needed to do going forward or if this was just a glorified goodbye.

He had no idea, but he wouldn't shy away from it, he owed them that much. He pulled his hood tighter over his head as he walked, not wanting to catch any more attention than he did already. He knew that if he was recognized then there would be cameras in his face the entire journey and reporters would swarm him within ten minutes. He really didn't want to deal with those zombies right now, not that he ever did of course.

Thankfully he was able to make it to U.A without anyone noticing him but when he turned the final corner of the school's outer walls which led him towards the main gate, he stopped mid-step and immediately turned around, not wanting to get caught flat-footed at the small army of cameras and reporters in front of the main gate. They weren't shouting questions at anyone and that made them more dangerous, it meant they were just standing around looking for something to do and if they saw him then it was over.

Quickly stepping back around the wall, he leaned back against it and let out a silent curse. He couldn't just jump the fence despite knowing he could, he would set off the alarms and that would just be trouble, he could already see the headlines 'Superboy breaks into U.A' "Shit" he said to himself as he slowly peaked around the corner to get another look at them, they were just moving around their own vans, talking, leaning, sitting, gets cups of coffee. They were going to be there for a while.

"Kon!" a voice shouted; he leaned back to hide from the reporters who might have just turned in his direction. Back behind the wall he quickly turned to see who was shouting and was ready to tell them to shut up, but that went out the window when as soon he found himself lost for words when a warm body wrapped around him and he was trapped in a tight hug, he had to stumble in place when he took her weight completely as he didn't just hug but jumped on him.

"Nejire?" he asked confused by the sudden act and he subconsciously looked at the two men behind her and gave the universal man expression for 'help me' but in typical man fashion they both just gave him a shrug in the typical 'no' fashion.

"Are you okay?" she asked as she pulled back, her hands keeping an impressively tight grip on his shoulders "I haven't seen you since that lunch break. Are you hurt? We heard about the attack when the rest of the teachers did, the whole third-year group was about to charge in when Nezu told us not to. Is it true you killed all those villains? Everyone's seen the video, but is it true? What happened to you? No one knew anything. Are those stitches on your neck!?" she shouted that last part as she reached for his shirt and pulled the collar down to show his recent stitches over the massive bite wound.

The two other guys stood still but Kon could see them lean slightly to get a better look at the large scar around his shoulder towards his neck in the shape of a giant beak "Is this from that monster your class talked about before they all got sent home? Is it true you fought that thing for three hours?"

Kon grabbed her wrists and pulled them off of him "Nejire" he started getting her attention back on him and not the scar which still stung a little with the wound when she looked at him, he might have felt he come off a little too aggressive with that, he closed his eyes and let out a sigh "I'm fine, thank you. It's good to see you" he gave her a small smile and based on the way she smiled back he said the right thing.

Kon's eyes flickered to the other two and thankfully she seemed to notice "Oh right" she smiled as she hopped back and wrapped her arms around both of them "Kon, these are my two best friends in the whole wide world. This is Mirio Togata" she said giving the blonde a shake and he gave Kon a bright smile "And this is Tamaki Amajiki" she did the same with purple haired one but he seemed to close in on himself like a toddler trying to shrink in on himself "Guys, this is Kon. Oh, before I forget" she quickly moved back forward and reached into his jacket pocket.

"Hey" he complained as he tried to stop her from taking his phone away but she seemed determined. Taking it and turning her back to him, of course, he could have done so many different things to stop her but.

"It's good to see you back up and at it" Mirio said as he took a step forward "Got to admit, a lot of people were worried for you when we saw Wonder Woman carry you out of the USJ on her shoulder" he smiled at him so brightly and Kon couldn't tell if he was being serious or just messing with him.

But what he said did stick with him for a moment, there were a couple of flashes that made his head hurt. He closed his eyes and let out a wince as he saw the creature again for just a moment, screaming as he stomped on its chest, followed soon after by his mother pulling back to punch him "You all right there" he said as he quickly took a step forward to see if he was ok and Nejire looked at him from over her shoulder.

He held up a hand and waved him down "Yeah, I'm fine thanks. I don't remember a lot of what happened, but I've been getting flashes and images since I woke up" he looked over to the only girl present "Can I have my phone back now?" he asked.

"You… can…." She said really slowly, clearly trying to delay what he was doing "Have… it back now?" she said turning around and handing it back to him. Kon took a moment to look it over before he opened it and looked for what was different, it wasn't hard to figure out "I didn't want a way not to stay in touch with you again. Besides we need to schedule our you training times" she added with a smile.

'Don't think about it too much' he immediately said to himself. So what if this incredibly hot senior hero in training just gave him her number 'Don't get too deep into it' he added "Thanks" he said with a small smile, praying that the blush he was feeling didn't spread too far "But we might need to call this off, I don't even know if I'm still going to be a student after this…." His eyes widened slightly as he quickly looked at his watch and his eyes widened even more "Ah crap" he cursed to himself, as he quickly turned and looked around the corner again. The reporters were still there meaning he was in trouble "I'm going to be late"

"Late to what?" Mirio asked as all three joined him in looking around the corner at the horde of reporters.

"I have a meeting with Nezu in five minutes about what happened" he said, backing up and getting out of the line of sight of anyone who might look their way "I don't even know if I'll still be enrolled after that and being late isn't a good start" he added.

"Come with us then" Nejire said as she quickly grabbed his hand and started to pull him along and down the sidewalk the three just came from. Kon was a little jolted from his spot but quickly followed after her, the other two following as well "We third years have a quick way in or out in case of emergencies. And don't worry about Nezu, you didn't mean to do what you did so I doubt he'll expel you"

He had to admit, he found it a little sweet of her that she trusted him so easily or maybe it was just confidence in him "How do you know it wasn't on purpose?" he asked as the four walked quickly, almost jogging down the outer walls of the school "I mean I appreciate it but how do you know I'm not some mad killer who's lost their mind?"

"That's just how she is" Tamaki said, speaking up for the first time as they moved "She's a good judge of character" and that seemed to be all he needed to say.

"But you saw the video" he protested back at them as they seemed to huddle around him.

"We did" Mirio said as he moved in front of the ground when they stopped, Nejire not letting go of his hand when they did, something Kon found that he didn't have a problem with "It was intense" he pushed his hand into the wall and revealed a small computer panel "But what a lot of us hero's found the most interesting was not what you did but how you did it" he started to type away into the small console.

"Yeah" Nejire turned to look at him with a bright smile but Kon could feel a type of concern in there "You moved like someone who's been fighting their whole lives, I was speaking to some of the more melee heroes and some of them seemed a little jealous" there was a large mechanical crunch and Kon turned away to see the wall open up and allowed them onto the campus. It didn't seem like much since all it did was open up to them when it was only eight or so feet high in the first place but simply jumping over the wall would have set off the alarms so if he could avoid that then great "there wasn't a single move you did that was counterproductive" she continued as she dragged him along, though she noted the look of confusion on his face "Think about it, every swing, punch and even step was clear in purpose. You didn't show any mercy or more importantly hesitation"

"Even veteran soldiers still get a little shocked in fights" Mirio spoke up "Fighting for their lives on a battlefield, enemies all around them, they'll have moments where they need to take a breath and think about what to do. That wasn't the case with you, you just did it, it's made a lot of us think that this wasn't some type of murder spree" The blonde looked at Kon as the four stepped across the grass field and onto a dirt path that would take him to the main building "And based on the way you're looking at me, you have an idea of what I'm talking about"

As the other two looked at him he had to admit that he hadn't thought about that when he watched the footage, maybe he was just too horrified by what he was doing to notice "I have a very good idea" he confirmed, not wanting to get to deep into the whole Warrior madness thing "I appreciate the help guys, but I have to get to this meeting" he started to move away from the group but stopped when Nejire didn't let go of his hand.

"I don't think you'll get expelled but just in case" she said before moving into his personal space and giving him a quick peck on the cheek. She pulled back before he could do anything "For luck, give me a call after the meeting so we can set up the training schedule" She turned around and wrapped her arms around the other two before pulling them away.

He was one hundred per cent sure that it was just a friendly gesture from her, completely, undeniably sure. No doubt whatsoever, none, zero. It was just a friendly thing to do. His eyes immediately went to her ass as they walked away and he could have sworn there was a little extra shake in there.

Nighty-nine per cent sure.

He shook his head before he could explode into a blush and started to run towards the main building, he had to get this over with.

This was admittedly a little more intimidating than he was expecting but he couldn't say he was surprised. When he entered Nezu's office, he shouldn't have just expected the headmaster but he did. Instead, he was met with Nezu sitting behind his desk but also in a costume, All Might standing next to him with his arms crossed smiling brightly, Hound Dog leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed, no smile present. And Aizawa sitting on one of the two chairs in front of the desk, looking really beat up.

"Mr. El, glad to see you made it. Please, have a seat" Nezu said as he gestured to the free chair and Kon let out a mental sigh as he moved, closing the door behind him as he did so.

No one said a word as he moved across the room and took a seat next to his teacher who was eyeing him through a lot of bandages and casts "Are you all right?" he asked as he glanced at Aizawa.

"I'll heal" was a short answer but it was enough for now.

"Mr. El" Nezu started as he decided that it was time to get this started "There are many things that we need to discuss with you, many things we need to know and some we would just like to know. But first I want to offer you a monumental apology for what happened"

Kon couldn't help but tilt his head at the small mammal "Sir, I…" he tried to talk but was stopped.

"Despite everything that happened after" he continued "the fact of the matter is it wouldn't have happened in the first place if the Villains hadn't been able to infiltrate our school, to begin with. I promised you and every student in your class that while they are here in my school they would be protected and free to learn peacefully. I failed in that duty, to you more than the others. For that, Kon I want to offer my deepest apologies" he stood on his chair and did a deep bow to him and he had to admit he found himself a little flat-footed, he wasn't expecting that.

"That goes for me as well" Aizawa added and he turned to look at his injured teacher "It was my job to make sure you were safe but when it came to it, I wasn't able to get you out of there. I'm sorry for that as well" he did a small bow himself but it wasn't as low, most likely due to the injury.

Kon couldn't help but let out a small sigh as he slumped in on himself, resting his arms on his knees and stared at the floor "It's not your fault, I should have been able to control myself and helped you instead of losing myself in the fight. I should have helped you, my classmates, all of it but I wasn't strong enough to control it"

"Now that you've brought it up" All Might started as all heads rose up and looked at Japan's number one hero "Young Kon, what happened in there?" he asked.

Kon looked at him and towards the others as well "I trust that this remains confidential?" he asked the group but I was mostly the headmaster.

"Everything you tell us shall be kept between us, if it's a danger to others then I may need to tell the other teachers as well but that's it" he informed him as he sat back down on his chair.

"Fair enough" he said back as he started to speak.

Kon told the teachers everything, about how he doesn't remember much about what happened, about how he fell into some Amazon genetic fight or fight harder response. About how it could happen again and more importantly, how he refused to do the one thing his mother said would be able to help him control it.

The teachers were all silent for a few moments as they processed what they heard and a couple of things needed to be said "You said you would never go back to the Island home of the Amazons" Hound Dog spoke up first as he looked over at Kon "Why not?" he asked.

Though all of them noticed how his hands clenched into fists as soon as it was said and there was an air of danger around him "let's just say bad memories" was all he gave out.

"It takes more than bad memories to stop you from getting treatment for something that could cause a lot of harm to others" Aziawa said next, of course, he knew there was something more to it and this was more of a way to get him to give something else up.

"Ok" he ground out "completely traumatizing memories then. I fought with my mum about this too much already. I'm not going and that's the end of it" the teachers had to admit, it was a surprise to see a student be so upfront about not doing something.

"Tell me something" Nezu spoke up next "When do you feel it happened, when did this 'warriors madness' take effect?" he asked.

"Err…" was all Kon could say for a moment as he thought about it or more accurately, the more he tried to think about it "I don't think I could say" he spoke with a voice of confusion "Like I said everything the that happened after that creature jumped me is a blur"

"After it bit his shoulder" Aziawa said as the others turned to look at him, Kon included "It jumped him first and Kon tried to fight it off, only really getting in one good strike before the other villains attacked. Then it bit into his shoulder, after it did that there was a change, he immediately got angry and based on the reporters from the other students and the camera footage we were able to recover, that was when his fight started to get more brutal and savage" he explained to everyone.

"Mr. El, do you mind?" Nezu asked and Kon took a moment before he realized and grabbed the collar of his T-shirt, pulling it to the side to reveal the stitches and soon-to-be scar "Hhmm, maybe it was the breaking of his skin that caused such a response from his mind" he mused.

"We can spiral down that rabbit hole later" All Might spoke up before they could get lost in thought "For now I think it would be best to discuss the next steps"

"Yes, you're right" Nezu added as he looked back to Kon, whose heart was beating a mile a minute when the small rodent's head turned to look at him "Mr. El, I won't lie and say the idea of having you removed from the school didn't cross mind or requests for it didn't cross my desk. To be completely honest with you, what we discussed here was going to decide whether or not you remain" he expected that to be completely honest "You are responsible for the deaths of thirteen different villains, not just the ones you killed directly but also the ones who seemed to just be in your way during the fight with the Nomu. If you were a pro-hero you'd have already lost your licence and been banned from ever acting the part of one again" he hopped onto his desk and started to pace back and forth on top of it "But you're not a pro-hero, you're a student, you're here to learn from mistakes and grow as a person. But now I learn you could be a very real threat to your fellow classmates if this happens again and they get in your way. You were able to land a solid kick that bruised All Might" he gestured to the tall hero who looked a little uneasy "If that was anyone else you would have ripped them in half with the force of the blow alone"

Kon watched him move back and forth with nervous eyes, he would freely admit that U.A. wasn't his first choice for a hero school, at least not before his dad died but when Nezu offered such an easy in it sounded good. When he got here he had to admit that he liked it, the classes were good, the people friendly and helpful, except for a couple but that was fine. The idea that he might no longer be welcome here hurt him more than he thought it would.

"But I can't judge you for something I really don't think was your fault," Nezu said as he stopped pacing and looked back at Kon "Do you wish they remain in this school?" he asked him.

"I do," Kon said firmly and confidently.

Nezu nodded "All right then, I am willing to allow you to stay if you follow certain conditions"

"I understand" he nodded back.

"The first is that you will attend mandatory counselling sessions with Hound Dog to discuss what happened and help you heal from it, you may say you're fine but you killed people in cold blood. If you're not affected by that then we do have a real issue on our hands" he started to explain "The second is that you will take part in a U.A press conference to explain what happened to the public, people are scared and U.A is bearing a lot of the weight right now. We need you to help lighten the load, Midnight will help you prepare for that" A small grimace spread across his face as he took in that one but he wasn't going to complain, it was fair "Thirdly you will do everything you can think of to get a better handle of this warriors madness, if it happens again then you need to be in control of it. Finally, as an official punishment for your actions during the USJ, you will not be allowed to partake in this year's U.A sports festival"

Kon waited a moment for him to finish before nodding "I understand" he said before he stood up and for the first time he gave the headmaster a low bow "Thank you for letting me stay" he said before turning to leave "I assume I'll start classes the same time as everyone else?" he asked.

"You will" Hound Dog said "But I'll send you an email soon about our first meeting and we'll do as many as we have to until I know you're all right"

"Understood" Kon said with a smile as he was about to leave but stopped himself "Wait, what happened with everyone else. I know they didn't die but are they ok?" he asked as he stood in front of the closed door.

"There is a large collection of injuries from many but none that caused any real danger to life" Aizawa said "The class was split up and spread throughout the dome, some had to fight more than others, and some were hurt more than others. I trust that you can understand why we can't share those details with you. But they're ok" he added with a nod.

Kon let out a small smile "Good" he said before turning to leave.

When he stepped out of the office he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding before moving down the corridor 'Maybe this won't be so bad after all' he thought to himself.

Steven Waller frowned intently as he watched the video of Kon-El dealing with the Villains that attacked the USJ. He had to admit there were a lot of thoughts that moved through his head as he watched it, on the one hand, he was both surprised and horrified that someone who could become as powerful as Superman could be capable of such carnage, but on the other hand it proved that Kon wasn't as pure as his father or mother, meaning that he might be able to see the world for what it is and not what heroes want to it to.

Maybe if he played his cards right, Kon could be someone that he could use to make a real difference in the world, not just wasting his time going around saving people and instead helping the world really advance.

But in order to do that, he needs the boy to think that he doesn't have anyone else to go to, or more accurately he needs to wait and see if his relationship with his mother changes at all. He couldn't move in on the kid if the noble and pure Wonder Woman was constantly watching over him.

For now, all he could do was create some plans and modify the ones they already have. As the director of the Hero Safety Commission, that was something he could have done easily enough, after all, he has plans to deal with anyone who has powers, no matter how sure people are of the loyalty of a hero. It was his duty not to trust them because if he trusted them, then there was no defense against them if they turned.

"Director Waller" a voice called to him, and he looked up from his files to see his number one, Rebeca, step into his office "Kon-El has been spotted inside U.A. Principle Nezu has just scheduled a press conference which he has confirmed Kon will be present for and the Justice League is planning to have the vote for a new leader in two days" she said looking down at her clipboard as she moved forward towards his desk.

He frowned for a moment as he processed the information "What's the word on the investigation into the League of Villains" he ground out that last part, such a stupid name.

"The Batman is leading the investigation" she said to him as she placed a file on his desk that held a picture from the inside of the USJ. McGinnis was standing in the center of the blood-splatter stains in his black and red Bat costume surrounded by a handful of other members of the League that looked like they were taking samples.

"Does he have anything?" He asked her as he started to go over the folder.

"He's been able to track the source of the hack of the U.A systems to Yokohama City" Waller turned a piece of paper to see and overhead few of the cities in question.

"It's a lot of ground to cover" he mused.

"Yes, he's requested that the League station more of their discreet members to the city for recon and surveillance" she said calmly "Naturally he's taking permanent residents in the city until they can find the source"

"So Kon will be staying at U.A for now" he said that last part more to himself than her "Do we have any idea what caused this outburst?" he asked her.

"Not yet" she said shaking her head "But if he's returning to the school then we can assume whatever happened to him either won't happen again or he's learning to make sure it won't happen again"

"Agreed" he said as he stood up "Come on, we need to make sure that vote doesn't go through" he added as the two left his office and made their way to Washington.

"That went pretty well" Tomura Shigaraki said as he leaned on the bar counter as Kurogiri stood on the other side pouring him a drink.

"Indeed Tomura" a voice from the side said and they both turned to face a computer screen that just showed static to them "It was admittedly unexpected that the son of the oh-so-pure Superman could be able to unleash such death and carnage but it is a good start to showing the world that the legacy of the House of El is not as benevolent as the human race believes it to be" the distorted voice of a man spoke but it was clear to see the level of deep hatred buried within it.

"I've already started to go over the data available" a different voice came from the same screen that the two villains watched closely, this one was clearly weaker, gruffer "I knew that it was worth getting the live data feedback from the Nomu, now we have an accurate scan of Kon-El's blood. I must say, he's truly a marvel of biology. With your permission, I would like to start attempting to integrate it into the next Nomu"

"Denied" the master said again quickly "Using the blood of the enemy is not something one such rush, especially when it comes to Kryptonation DNA. I imagine it would be even more when one adds the blood of an Amazon into the mix. This is something that must be done carefully, only when we know all we need to shall we integrate it into our new soldiers"

"Of course, my Lord" the other voice said again "I'll find every secret that the blood can tell us"

"Good, I'll trust you with this. In the meantime, Tomura I want you to enjoy a break. You've done good work, take some rest. I shall be continuing my attempts to find the Doomsday" The master said.

"Are you sure that is wise Master?" Kurogiri asked as he turned his body to face the monitor "That creature was able to do the impossible, the level of destruction it unleashed was unmatched. Perhaps it would be best to leave it alone" he said with a warning tone.

"It is because of what the creature could do that I must find it" the master said with a slightly more emotional tone "That creature is dead now, if we can find it. Open it up and learn from it. We can finally stop relying on heroes to protect us, and we can do it ourselves as we always should have done" the video screen shut off before anyone could speak.

Ending the conversation before he could anyone could say anything else. Shigaraki simply picked up a remote "How about some TV" he said with a small smile before turning it on and taking a drink, a smile on his face.

Ok everyone we shall leave it there. Now we start to get a little more into the other players in this story and I'm looking forward to going over how Kon will handle trying to get back in the swing of things not that everyone knows what he's done.

Anyway, let me know what you think in the reviews and I'll see you in the next chapter.
