Ok all, here we go

Maybe it was a little bit silly but Kon had a bright smile on his face as he made his way down the corridor of U.A, the party was a success, everyone had a good time and he had to jack it like there was no tomorrow because of Momo. Yeah, saying that she didn't want them to be together kinda sucked but by God, he was happy they did what they did. Besides, if she didn't want them to be together, why kiss him like that? It was so hot. He's getting shivers just thinking about it now.

So yeah, for the first time since the USJ. He felt in a really good mood, his eyes didn't act up, he wasn't worried about what the hell was going on in his head and now with the sports festival coming around the attention was going to be off of him. Things seemed to be looking up, now all he needed to do was convince Momo that he should take her out on a date and it would be perfect, though that would be tricky.

Sure, Kon liked her and would totally date her in a heartbeat but there were some issues. The first is while not completely drunk Momo did do everything they did while under the influence, so there was a chance she wouldn't have normally done that. That could also mean her saying no might not mean much because of the wine as well, the question was, which one was more likely to happen without the wine? Kissing him? Or saying that we couldn't be together?

It was a tough choice, he could just ask her, but he had a feeling that it might not work out well that way. Was this some woman thing where he needed to figure it out on his own? He also made that call that he would do his best to forget what Momo said about Mina calling dibs on him. While yes, that was great it also went against the whole point of dibs if he knew about it. If she wanted to ask him out then he couldn't really think of a reason to say no but at the same time now that he knows he has his eyes on Momo, it felt kinda mean to go out with someone else.

But if he did go out with her wouldn't his attention go to her anyway? It's not like he's in love or anything like that and Mina is pretty cute. He shook his head before he could fall down that rabbit hole, with his bag over his shoulder he headed towards the classroom but as he turned down the corridor a door on the wall opened up and jaded-looking Bakugo stepped out with his head down and sombre look in his eyes "To be honest with you, I think you're making the right choice" Aziawa said as he stepped out as well but didn't move a step away from the open door "You'll have another chance to….." Bakugo didn't want to hear it and kept walking away.

The 1.A homeroom teacher let out a small sigh but didn't follow him, he did notice Kon who stepped in front of him and glanced past him into the room that they came from. He could see Midnight and Snipe working on computers, he didn't know where the teacher's conference was but it was good to know "He dropped out of the festival didn't he?" Kon asked already knowing the answer.

"Yeah," the teacher confirmed as he turned a corner and headed for the class "Myself and the other teachers were discussing what to do regarding his explosive power, no pun intended, the last thing we need is him blasting his classmates into mulch for the whole world to see. Seems he beat us to it" There was a hint of respect in the man's voice as he spoke.

"He'll still get an internship right?" Kon asked concerned about his future career as a hero.

Aizawa nodded "The school has hero agencies on standby to take in anyone who doesn't get an offer from others. But I doubt that would mean much to someone like him" Kon couldn't help but agree, Bakugo was proud and he wouldn't want anything that was just handed to him unless he could help it. Not to mention if these agencies took in everyone who didn't get an offer chances are then that they weren't exactly high in ranking.

"Maybe I should make a call," he said more to himself than Aizawa, he did say that he would help him out if he couldn't get his blasts under control, even if the blonde did tell him to fuck off.

"It's your choice to try or not, but I would recommend you make it seem like it wasn't you asking or calling in a favour" he advised.

"Good point" Kon agreed as he started to walk forward "I'll see you in class" he said.

"I'll be there soon," the teacher said before stepping back into the teacher's lounge.

He made his way down the corridor towards the classroom, true that Aizawa said that these last two days were for them to do extra training and be ready for the festival, but this wasn't a class but more of a last-minute run down of what they need to do, what's expected of them along with time and schedules and the like.

When he entered the classroom he was happy to see that everyone was there and they were talking happily with each other "Hey man, the host of the hour has arrived" Sero cheered as everyone smiled when he arrived.

"That party was so much fun" Mina smiled.

"Yeah, we should totally have another one soon" Sato added with a smile.

Kon found himself smiling back at them all and even looked a little bashful which he was sure some of the girls found cute 'Don't look at her, don't look at her, play it cool' he thought to himself as he did everything in his power to not look at the back of the class where Momo was sitting "Yeah, I'm sure we can have another one soon" he smiled as he quickly made his way over to the angry blonde who was looking down at his desk with a barely controlled scowl "Give me your phone" he said as he held out his hand.

"Uh" he looked up at him "The fuck you on about? piss off" he snarled.

"No" Kon said back calmly "Give me your phone" he said ignoring the weird looks everyone was giving him.

"The fuck you want that for dumbass" he said looking like he was about to stand up and punch him.

"Because the next time I throw a party you're getting invited and I can't do that if I don't have a way to reach you" he reasoned.

"Like I wanna go to your shitty party" he scowled back.

Kon didn't rise to the bait "Then you can say no, but you will get the choice now give me your phone before I break your arm" he said with more of a clear threat this time around.

He snarled in his place for a moment longer before he reached into his pocket and handed him the phone. Kon smirked before he turned and threw it at a smirking Mina. Who caught it happily before putting him in the group chat, Kon then looked over to a sombre-looking Todoroki who didn't do much to react to him coming over.

Momo on the other hand…

She and Kon made eye contact for a split second before she looked away with a heavy blush 'shit I looked' he thought to himself as while he didn't blush himself, he was flown back to what happened last night and a dumb smirk went onto his face as he thought about it. He looked away from the black-haired beauty and towards the multi-hair coloured teen "Phone, give me" he said as he held out his hand.

Todoroki didn't fight him on it and simply handed him the phone, he turned around and Mina was standing up and ready with a smile as he threw the phone towards her, she caught it and tossed Bakugo's phone back to him. Kon walked to the front and looked at the newly added group chat member 'Bakoboom' he couldn't help but let out a small laugh at that as he handed the phone back to the blonde.

He heard the blonde let out a small snarl as he heard the name and Kon made his way back to his chair, seeing Mina quickly stand up and toss the phone back to Todoroki with a smile and gave Kon a thumbs up "Ok" Kon said loudly enough to get everyone's attention "Now that everyone is in the group chat, next time I throw a party, everyone's going to be there"

"Damn right" Sato smiled and held up his arms in a pose "And next time we shall beat you, Kon. Team human for life"

"YEAH!" all the guys in the class cheered, even Ida and Deku.

Everyone laughed at the good-hearted nature of the joke and the class dialled back down to what it was before, some sitting in silence and relaxing, others talking to each other and the like. Kon leaned backwards with his back against the window, effectively sitting in his chair sideways, it gave him a good view of the class like that and having the sun hitting his back and head felt nice. He looked around the class for a few moments before he noticed that Momo kept glancing at him while making it seem like she wasn't, he turned around to look at her but as soon as he did their eyes met for a moment and she looked away with a heavy blush.

'That had to be a good sign, right?' he thought to himself, finding that he really wasn't sure what the answer was and when he looked away a saddened frown came onto his face when he realised, he didn't have anyone to ask about it.

His dad was gone and the only other adult man he felt close enough to talk to about girls was Uncle J'onn but he's been single for the past…... forever and he was a Martian, sure he understood humans well enough but Kon doubted that he had a good understanding how Kon should try and work past this with Momo.

He looked down to the ground and he couldn't but feel sad that the first time he could really use his dad's advice on women, he wasn't there to give it. Besides it wasn't like he could talk to his mom about this, they didn't have that kind of relationship and he would make it his personal mission in life to make sure that they never did.

Before he could spiral much further down that rabbit hole, something interrupted him "Ah!" someone screamed slightly, and he quickly looked up to see that Uraraka was standing in front of the now-open classroom door and his eyebrows rose as he saw a large crowd of other students standing in the corridor looking in towards them "U-um, why the heck are you all here?!" she yelled at them.

"Do your students have some sort of business with our class?" Ida said as he took a step forward and did that same straight-hand movement he always did.

"Why are you blocking our doorway?" Mineta said as he shot to the front of the group "I won't let you hold hostage!" he yelled.

"My god shut up," Bakugo said as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms "They're scouting out the competition you idiots" he added as all the class looked towards him except for Kon who didn't pay them much mind and crossed his arms "We're the class that survived a real villain attack. They want to see us with their own eyes or some shit like that" he looked to the doorway with a scowl "Well take a good look extra," he said raising his hands at them slightly "This is what a future pro looks like. Now piss off, there's no show here" he scowled.

While Deku and Uraraka started to silently scream at his words, Ida was quick to berate him "You can't keep calling our fellow students extras just because you don't know who they are"

"So this is class " a voice called out from the back of the crowd and Kon watched as a purple-haired kid stepped forward and took one step into the classroom "I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass" he said looking right at the blonde before turning to look at everyone else "Is everyone else in the hero course this delusional, or just you" he said turning back to him, ignoring the winces from the rest of class who already knew how easy it was to set him off "It's sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs, I wanted to be in the hero course. But like many others here I was forced to choose a different track. Such is life" he shrugged "I didn't cut it the first time around but now we all have another chance. If any of us do well in the sports festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the hero course and they'll have to transfer people out to make room" he explained and it was easy to hear the gasps from the rest of the class. He looked back at Bakugo "Scouting the competition? Maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war" he said with nothing but complete seriousness. While the rest of the class started to panic about the implications of what was said, Kon had a different reaction.

"Oh my god," Kon said as he very publicly rolled his eyes. "Did you do drama in school before coming here?" he said, earning the attention of the crowd by the door. "Well, we've heard your declaration," he air-quoted. "Loud and clear, you can leave now," he added.

"Wait, he's not competing in the festival, is he?" a voice said from the crowd somewhere.

They didn't know for certain it was Kon they were talking about but it was a safe bet "Why should he? He's a murder" another said and for a moment Kon felt his heart skip a beat as he heard that statement, not in shock but in anger at the audacity.

"Shouldn't even be in the school" another added.

"Got off scot-free, damn monster"

"Can't believe he gets to wear Superman's symbol"

"It was covered in blood, he's no hero"

The statements kept on coming and Kon's hands both clenched into fists as he listened to every single one of them. Something the rest of the class noticed as well as they started to seem more and more concerned not just for the anger Kon was showing but for how disrespectful they were being to their classmate "Hey, cut that shit out" Kirishima said as he stood up from his desk and looked at the crowd with his arms crossed "None of you was there when the villains attacked, you don't get to judge"

"Yeah" Sato agreed as he stood up as well "He reacted in the same way any of us would in that situation"

"You got a problem with Kon then you have a problem with me" Mina said as she closed her fists and pressed them on her hips.

"And me" Sero added.

"And me" Deku, Ida and Uraraka said at the same time.

Soon enough the entire class was standing up in his defence, even Bakugo who despite not standing up looked like he was ready to charge at the crowd with his hands ready to start blasting.

"Quell my beating heart," Kon said as he stood up and let go of his anger slightly, having all of his class stick up for him like that was nice. But they still seemed a little worried when he started to move forward towards the crowd of students, not that he would lash out at them or anything "Ok, cut that shit out" he said looking at all of them "If you weren't at the USJ when it happened then you don't get to have an opinion on the matter, in any way, shape or form. So talk crap as much as you want but you should know I think of your opinions as less than a pile of dogshit" With that piece said he turned his attention to the one with the purple hair who despite still having a very calm and almost bored expression, took a step back when he approached, it was hard to see why.

Kon wasn't the biggest guy in his class but he still had a lot on the guy in front of him "Cut it out with the drama, every single person in this class could completely bomb the sports festival, and no one's getting kicked out, that's not how schools work" he noted the look of confusion on the faces of the crowd behind the kid and turned around to note the same look on his classmates "Am I the only one who looked over the school papers?" he asked and he looked at Ida who looked like he was thinking about something, no doubt trying to remember something he forgot.

"Ida….." Kon gasped dramatically as he slowly shook his head "Come on man, I expected more from you" It was clearly a joke and even got some smiles from the rest of the class, especially when Ida took it more seriously than he should have. Kon turned back to the crowd and this time speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear him "I will not be competing in the sports festival and two others in this class won't be competing either" he added earning looks of shock from everyone "Do we look worried about leaving this course? Of course, we don't, because it's not happening. We can get kicked out of the Hero course for any number of reasons, failing to wow the people in the sports festival isn't one of them"

He took another step forward and looked the purple-haired kid right in the eye, normally he would have been nicer about this but the way he just came in here and started to talk shit to his whole class didn't put Kon in the best of moods "You could win the sports festival. You're not going to the hero course. You can still be a hero, but you have to do it through self-study and getting an internship with a hero agency that likes you, you do well enough there then maybe they keep taking you on until you graduate. And sure, if one of us leaves the class for any reason, they might move you up into it, but that's it. Now do me a favour, take your shitty attitude, your declaration of war and piss off" he added before he slid the door closed in his face.

He took a deep breath before he turned back to the class who were all looking at him in one state or the other, some leaned back in their seats with arms crossed, others were standing up looking right at him and somewhere looking without trying to make it obvious "Thanks for sticking up for me" he said as he started to make his way back to his seat.

"Thank you" Jiro added from her desk that she leaned back on "It's good to know we can't be kicked out for failing"

"I know right," Turo said as her uniform bounced up and down "I was so worried then, what can I do during the festival? I'm just a regular person who's invisible. Sure, I'd be pretty good at the 1v1's but I'd have to make it their first"

"Anyone else surprised our bookworm of a president didn't know this?" Mina added with crossed arms and raised an eyebrow at Ida, something everyone else added on with.

There was no real malice in the gesture but it seemed that Ida was taking this very seriously and was looking at his hands in deep thought, really looking into something that he couldn't remember, it's like he didn't even notice the rest of them "Err…." Deku said as he scratched the back of his head "Ida" he added before tapping him on the shoulder.

The class president turned to face him so fast that even Kon almost didn't see it "Section four of the contract, paragraph eight, subsection two. Students who go against the rules of U.A High allow for the possibility of expulsion or removal from current course and other punishments to be determined by the teachers and full-time workers of the institution (U.A High)" he listed for a moment and turned back to the class "There is no rule of any kind that states that students from the Hero course must compete in the Sports Festival let alone do well so we are under no threat of punishment or removal" he listed before taking a deep breath and falling back into his chair looking so exhausted that he may as well have run a marathon, or several in his case "I am sorry, I should have remembered this back when I read the student contract" it was kinda funny to see him not do his usual bow of apology but it seemed he was too tried to try it.

"HEY YOU!" another voice came from the door that opened up with a dramatic slam and the whole class turned to look at an average-sized teen with grey hair and what looked like some type of mask around his eyes "I'M FROM CLASS 1.B NEXT DOOR TO YOU!" he shouted and Kon rolled his eyes before standing back up and making his way to the door, happy to see that most of the crowd was now gone but somewhere still lingering due to the new show this guy was putting on "WE SAW YOU FIGHT SOME VILLAINS SO I CAME TO SEE WHAT YOU'RE ALL ABOUT. SO WHAT? YOU'RE A BUNCH OF BRATS THAT THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN US!?" He shouted and unlike the purple-haired kid, this one didn't seem too intimidated by Kon at all.

"God, does everyone hate our class now or something?" Mineta asked with a dramatic sigh.

"It's starting to seem like that" Tsu added as they looked at the newcomer.

"TALK ALL THE CRAP YOU WANT!" He continued "IT WILL JUST BE MORE EMBARRASSING FOR YOU WHEN YOU GET KO'D" Kon reached out and grabbed the door again and made no attempt to hide what he was going to do "DON'T YOU DO IT!" He warned as Kon started to slowly close to door "DOOOOON'T" was all he could get out before the door was closed shut and Kon turned to look at the rest of the class.

"Anyone else wish they called in sick today?" he asked them.

"Yes," they all said at once.

Kon didn't even make it one step back to his seat before he heard the door open again "For fucks sake" he cursed as he turned around "I swear to god" he added as he turned around and quickly put a sock in his mouth as he saw his grimly looking teacher looking down at him.

"Language and detention for the language" Aizawa said as he stepped around Kon and towards his desk "You've been warned before" he added.

Kon could do nothing else but let out a deep sigh and make his way back to his desk earning sympathetic looks from the rest of his class "Where were you five minutes ago" he muttered to himself as he sat down, getting a few pats on the shoulder in sympathy from those around him.

"I was getting updates for the schedules for the Sports festival" he said and it was quick to note that he had everyone's attention with that statement "Now, here's the plan. The U.A sports festival is an all-day event and that goes double for those who are competing, you are expected to be at the arena at 5 am sharp. Breakfast will be provided for you when you arrive"

He started to explain everything as he walked up and down the rows of chairs and handed out information sheets for them all to read "This contains a map of everywhere you need to be and at what times, take a moment to read over needed equipment, a spare change of clothes and the like. You will be given time both during and after the festival to enjoy all the other venues that take place during the festival" he added before making his way back to the front of the room.

"As for those of you who are not going to be competing this time, attendance is mandatory for everyone, you'll be spending your time in the class box that is allocated for the students competing. Since this is your first year in U.A you'll be near the top. It goes without saying but you'll have more time to enjoy stalls, games and other activities that take place during the day. However, you need to be in the class box during the events that this class takes place in" he added.

"Hold on a minute sir," Sato said as he raised his hand "I know Kon and Todoroki aren't taking part. Who's the third?" he asked.

The class started to mutter amongst themselves as they thought about it, Kon knew who it was. But he doubted anyone else… he looked over to Kirishima who wasn't talking and caught him giving the angry blonde. So, he knew but he also noted Todoroki looking around the class as well though a lot more subtlety. Aizawa didn't answer and it was clear that he didn't want to put a spotlight on Bakugo, he could understand that.

"It's me" said blonde said as he remained sat in his chair.

All heads immediately turned to look at him when he spoke and naturally everyone looked at him with different degrees of shock "What?" Sero said as he looked at him.

"Are you kidding me?" Mina added.

"Dude, without Kon or Todoroki you were probably the most likely to win" Sato added.

"Unless Midoriya wanted to do that thing with breaking all his bones to get some crazy power boost" Tsu added.

"Ka…Kachan" Deku said as he looked over at the blonde.

Though like normal, the second Bakugo hears Deku say his name, or that nickname only he uses. He blows up "SHUT THE HELL UP DEKU!" He said shooting to his feet and looking ready to blast the green-haired student "I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOU SHITTY WORDS" he made to lunge but the teacher's capture tape wrapped around him and somehow pushed him down into his seat.

Aizawa's hair lowered itself back onto his shoulders "Now that's out the way, let's get started on the rest of the Itinerary" he said as he looked back at the papers.

The rest of the class doing the same but it was clear that many thoughts were on why Bakugo wasn't competing, Kon didn't doubt that some would figure it out later.

Ok, guys, we'll call it here, let me know what you all think and I'll see you in the next chapter.

P.S: also, who do you think Kon should call to give Bakugo an internship with, My plan isn't set in stone yet so give me some ideas.
