Flipping through the air Petra dodged bolt after bolt of electricity flung at her by Electro. Landing on the ground she performed a back flip over Rhino trying to charge her from behind. Watching all this from a hover was Ironman who was feeling left out.

"So, any reason why they are ignoring me and so focused on you Spidercat?" he asked as she performed a split to avoid another bolt and rolled backwards to avoid Rhino's punch which smashed deep into the ground.

"Well for multiple reasons" she started leaping forward and punched Rhino in the face to make him stumble back. "One, they hate me a lot" she reasoned firing web into Electro's eyes to blind him. "Two, I stopped numerous of their crimes. And three, you're the new guy on the block. Your less of a threat to them" she finished charging at Rhino.

"Less of a threat? I fight terrorist across the globe" he reasoned as she leaped onto Rhino's thrown punch and landed behind him. Throwing her hands at Rhino, she webbed him up in a cocoon as she struggled to break free.

"Yeah, but you just recently started doing that over the last few months. "And you never really fought crime within the city" she explained finishing up her web cocoon. Throwing her hands in a cross in front of her chest, she shot a web to two separate cars. Upon latching onto them she pulled with her super strength, her arms apart, it caused the cars to come flying off the ground and smashing into Rhino in the middle.

Rhino released a cry of pain upon the impact as Petra added another web around the cars and him. "Is that really necessary?" asked Tony as Electro finally removed the webbing from his eyes.

"Yes" she answered latching onto Rhino's back and holding up a right hand that gave off blue sparks. Slamming it down on Rhino's back he released a cry of pain before collapsing to his knees and finally faced planting on the ground unconscious.

Releasing a deep breath while looking at her handy work she was not well prepared for when Electro blindsided her with a blast of electricity. Releasing a cry of pain, she flew through the air and skidding off the roof of a car to land on its side behind it.

"Ok, that's my que" said Tony aiming his repluser at Electro to fire a blast at him. He was caught off guard as well, but he was quick to recover as he stared at the hovering Ironman.

"So, you want to play too? Ok, let's do this" he said firing a blast of electricity to which was dodged. Ironman taking off into the sky had Electro pursue him as they fired blasts at each other. From the ground Petra stood up to see them going at each other in air combat.

"I guess I just stay here and watch the light show" she stated starting to lay back on a nearby car until she heard sirens approaching. "Or maybe next time. I'm sure Ironman got this" she finished shotting a web out and swinging away.

Tony was firing repulser blast one after another as Electro dodged and fired his own. This continued until he pulled to a stop and hover as Electro fired a blast that hit him and made his suit spark with electricity.

Energy charged to 110 percent.

"Would you look at that" he stated surprised before pushing all that power to his chest to fire a power beam from it to smack into a surprise Electro. The beam smashed into him sending him crashing into a parked car on the ground, making an explosion.

Moving closer to the crash Tony spotted Electro unconscious on top of the car. Looking around he noticed the still unconscious Rhino, the approaching police, and the fact that Spidercat was gone. "She ditched me and left the cops for me to handle" he muttered.

Petra's Room

Swinging back into her room, Petra changed back into her normal clothes while rubbing her slightly bruised stomach. "Hopefully this will go away quickly in a few days" she muttered leaning back in her bed as the radio played with the news of Ironman aka Tony Stark saving the day. "The news is not even saying anything negative about me. Maybe I should use him as a scapegoat more often" she smiled as she went to sleep.

Stark Tower

"Who is Spidercat?" spoke out Tony now fully out of his armor and moving about in his office. He has done some research on her and even used his own tech to track her, but he could never catch her slipping up. She never removed her mask and disappeared into the night when she was done for the day.

"Jarvis! Scan for all reports on her. I want to know who she is. Use whatever you need to find her" he ordered.

"Right away Mr. Stark"

Weeks Later

Petra waved goodbye to some of her friends as they boarded a school bus to Oscorp for their tour. She really hopes Miles and Gwen can bond over their time at the company. She felt like they were perfect for each other, if only their father's stopped annoying them to death about nonsense over catching her. Over the weeks she had noticed she had been running into Ironman a lot, which was suspicious. Until he got called in by the government about the Ironman suit. It was sure funny how he made them sweat. But right after he went all over the world.

Then there was Oscorp failed demonstration. Their powered armor failed spectacularly, much to Tony Stark's amusement. Now the company was looking for positive PR in order to not get their investors worried. This fieldtrip was one of them. While they were doing their field trip, the seniors of the school had the day off to focus on college. Something she used to do some patrolling in the day. Others used the time to prepare as most of them were going to tonight's Stark Expo. An Expo that hasn't happened since Tony's father was alive. She had already stopped a few crimes and was taking a breather on top of the Empire State Building. A headphone connected to the police radio in one ear, she had music playing in the other.

'Tony Stark should be back in New York now. This is his expo. I am curious about what they are going to present. All the crazy technical inventions and famous inventors. I'm definitely going to be there' she thought taking a bite of her sandwich. Only small things were being reported on the radio that the police could handle easily.

Oscorp

The tour was going well for the group. They already went past the boring administration level that showed them where the paper pushers were, and they were going through the tech labs. A lot of the tech they were showing off was experimental but there were some inventions that were going to be sold to the US military due to Tony Stark shutting down his arms manufacturer. While most of the class was really interested in cool tech, Miles and Gwen were really interested in the next section the recently entered.

The genetic lab

This was the area where they experimented on the genetics of animals in order to see where they can be applied to humans. Maybe in the medical department and even military applications. This is what the company would like to praise, that this is the path that the future of the company is heading. Something the company owner Norman Osborne showed that he was extremely confident in.

As the class was going along with the tour Norman was standing before his desk enraged. The failed presentation of the armor hurt his company more than was shown. It was supposed to be a clean sweep of picking up all the business contracts that the Stark company dropped but it wasn't. The military lost a lot of faith in their engineering capabilities, and they won't hand their soldiers things that would kill them.

Slamming his fist on the table he smashed it in half with his strength. "This is Stark's fault" he heard in a whisper. Turning to the side, he noticed a full body mirror showing him a reflection of himself with green glowing eyes.

"He is ruining your company. Let's return the favor. Destroy his Expo. Ruin his legacy like he is doing to yours. End Him!" shouted his reflection showing a maniacal grin stretching across his face. "It's time for the Green Goblin to have some fun" he spoke in complete agreement with his reflection.

Unaware of this change Miles and Gwen entered a low-lit lab containing glass chambers full of webs. This is the area they experimented with the spider's genetic makeup. Their goals were unknown to most, but it was assumed that they wanted to give humans spider like physical abilities.

Miles was looking closely at a spider weaving a web in such beautiful fashion. It was entrancing in a way, and it was only Gwen speaking up that he looked away at her. "You seem really lost looking into those spiders" she stated making him jump slightly.

"Yeah, they are amazing. I don't even recognize these spiders so these must be the ones they are working on. The way they make webs and move in such quiet and quick movements. They remind me of-"

"Spidercat" she finished for him as he nodded. "Maybe they are connected in some strange way" he guessed as Gwen rubbed her chin in thought.

"It is a possibility. No one really knows how Spidercat was created or even who she is. She just appeared from nowhere to help the city. Then slowly one by one more superpowered criminals started to appear as well" she pointed out as Miles looked at her confused.

"Are you blaming her for all the new super criminals?"

"Of course not. Super criminals have been appearing all the time. And she is not the first superhero from New York. That goes to Captain America" she reminded.

"And she isn't the only one around either. Besides Ironman, there are other heroes forming left and right. Daredevil being one of them. I even heard the two ran into each other a couple of times and helped each other"

They spent the next few moments together in silence until Miles spoke up saying, "my pops had lessened up on the hunt for Spidercat. She was seen quite a few times having fights against criminals with Ironman helping. A lot of eyes from the government are already on Tony Stark due to his suit and trial. With Spidercat appearing near him a few times, she started gaining their attention as well. So, the police are backing off the pursuit, which means less complaining from him."

"Ahh. That explains why my dad has stopped being so hardheaded and driven to case her. More along the lines of compensated because he has to hold back" she laughed picturing the grumbling face of her father. It confused Miles until she pulled out her phone to show a picture of her father sitting down at the dining table grumbling. Seeing the picture, he laughed as well as Gwen continued on when the building shook a bit.

"What was that?" questioned Gwen as red lights flashed with alarms sounding off. The building shook again with a loud explosion making glass break all around them.

"We should get out of here" Miles stated grabbing Gwen's shoulder not noticing a spider that escaped, landed on his hand. Getting a good grip, the spider bit deeply into his hand making him jump back and grip it in pain. "What's wrong?" asked Gwen stepping up to him and grabbing his hand to see it starting to redden as another spider came down a web behind her.

Releasing from the web, it landed on the back of her neck and bit deeply into it making her cry out in pain and slapping her hand on it. "Let's go" Miles said grabbing her hand and leading her out of the lab as pieces of it started falling apart causing a fire destroying this section of the lab.

On the outside of the building a man in green armor wearing a short ragged purple hood was on top of a flying glider. He had black pouches on his armor containing all sorts of gadgets. One which was a purple metal pumpkin that exploded upon impact of the building.

"Hahhahahahahaa!"
