The training ground was bathed in the soft glow of early morning sunlight, the dew-kissed grass shimmering like tiny diamonds underfoot.
Hinata stood hesitantly at the edge of the field, her lavender jacket fluttering slightly in the wind. She had arrived earlier than usual, hoping to avoid any awkward encounters—especially with Sasuke. But fate, it seemed, had other plans.
To her surprise, Sasuke was already there, leaning casually against a tree trunk with his arms crossed over his chest. His dark eyes flicked toward her briefly before returning to the horizon, his expression unreadable as always. For a moment, neither of them spoke, the silence between them heavy yet strangely comfortable.
Finally, Hinata mustered the courage to break the quiet. "Um… good morning, Sasuke-kun We're… uh… early today."
"No," he replied flatly, his tone devoid of emotion. "The others are late."
"Oh…" Hinata murmured, fidgeting nervously with the hem of her jacket. She glanced around the empty field, noting the absence of Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi-sensei, and the rest of her team. Her heart sank slightly; she wasn't sure whether to feel relieved or more anxious about being alone with him.
After another stretch of silence, Sasuke suddenly spoke again, his voice low and measured. "Did you take the pills?"
Hinata froze mid-fidget, her cheeks flushing crimson at the unexpected question. "Y-yes ! I-I took them right away, just like you said…"
"Good," he replied simply, nodding once in acknowledgment.
Encouraged by his calm demeanor, Hinata decided to seize the opportunity to address the elephant in the room—or rather, the memory of that chaotic night. Taking a deep breath, she stepped closer, her hands clasped tightly in front of her.
"S-Sasuke…" she began hesitantly, her voice trembling slightly. "I… I wanted to apologize properly for what happened. That night… I-I forced myself on you, and I'm so sorry. Please forgive me for taking advantage of you…"
Her words hung in the air, echoing softly in the stillness of the training ground. Sasuke turned to face her fully, his dark eyes narrowing slightly as if processing her confession. For a moment, he said nothing, leaving Hinata to squirm under his intense gaze.
Then, without warning, a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips—a rare sight that sent her heart skipping a beat.
"Yes, you did," he remarked dryly, his tone laced with amusement. "And now you owe me."
"O-owe you?" Hinata stammered, her wide opaline eyes widening even further. "W-what do you mean?"
Sasuke straightened up from his relaxed stance, stepping closer until he towered over her. His smirk widened ever so slightly, his dark eyes glinting mischievously. "You'll have to repay me by working as my housemaid Naked—and letting me fuck you again."
Hinata's jaw dropped in sheer horror, her entire body turning bright red. "W-WHAT?! N-no! I-I didn't mean—wait, WHAT?!"
"I'm joking," he clarified, his smirk fading into his usual stoic expression. "Do you really think I'd take advantage of someone like that?"
Hinata blinked rapidly, her mind struggling to catch up with the sudden shift in tone. "Y-you… you were joking?"
"Yes," Sasuke replied flatly, though there was a hint of teasing in his voice. "Relax. I'm not interested in forcing anyone to do anything."
She exhaled deeply, clutching her chest dramatically as if recovering from a near-death experience. "Oh my goodness… You scared me half to death, Sasuke-san! I thought you were serious!"
He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by her reaction. "You're too easy to mess with."
"Y-you can joke?" she stammered, her voice tinged with disbelief. Her wide opaline eyes blinked rapidly, as if trying to reconcile the stoic Uchiha she knew with the teasing smirk he'd just flashed
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by her reaction. "What? You thought I was some emotionless robot?"
"N-no! Of course not!" Hinata replied hastily, waving her hands defensively. But then, realizing how ridiculous she sounded, she laughed nervously, clutching her chest. "Well… maybe a little…"
Sasuke snorted softly, shaking his head. "You're weird."
"I'm not weird!" Hinata protested weakly, pouting slightly despite herself. Then, catching sight of his faint smirk, she groaned softly. "This isn't fair… Why are you teasing me?"
"Because it's entertaining," he replied flatly, leaning back against the tree trunk with his usual air of indifference.
Hinata sighed deeply, slumping forward slightly. "Fine… but please stop scaring me like that. My heart can't handle it."
He glanced at her briefly, his dark eyes softening ever so slightly. "Relax. I'm not mad at you."
Her gaze snapped up to meet his, wide opaline eyes shimmering with uncertainty. "Y-you're not?"
"No," Sasuke said simply, crossing his arms over his chest. "Why would I be angry? You weren't in your right mind that night. It's not like you planned any of it. We both did it it's not our fault "
Hinata blinked slowly, processing his words. For someone who rarely spoke more than three sentences at a time, Sasuke was surprisingly understanding.
"Thank you, Sasuke-san…" she murmured softly, bowing her head slightly. "I was so worried you'd hate me…"
"Don't overthink it," he muttered, turning his attention back to the horizon. "Just move on."
For a moment, silence settled between them once again. Hinata fidgeted nervously, her fingers twisting together as she debated whether or not to ask the question burning in her mind.
Finally, curiosity got the better of her. "Um… Sasuke-san?"
"What?" he asked flatly, glancing at her briefly.
She hesitated, her cheeks flushing pink as she summoned the courage to speak. "D-do you really like… um… big-breasted girls?"
Sasuke stared at her for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, to her surprise, he shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah. So?"
Hinata's face turned crimson, and she nearly tripped over her own feet in shock. Her mind raced with conflicting thoughts: Is he serious? Was he talking about me when he said that yesterday? Does he actually find me attractive?!
"I-I just…" she stammered, fumbling for words. "I mean… um… does that mean… uh…"
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by her inability to form coherent sentences. "Are you asking if I was referring to you?"
"N-no! I mean… yes! Wait, no!" Hinata exclaimed, her voice rising an octave higher than intended. She covered her face with both hands, groaning softly.
He chuckled softly—another rare occurrence—and shook his head. "You're overthinking again. If it makes you feel better, you do have big breasts. Maybe I was mentioning you. Or maybe I wasn't. Who knows?"
Hinata gaped at him, unsure whether to laugh, cry, or pass out. His tone was casual, almost dismissive, but there was a flicker of mischief in his eyes—a hint that he might actually be enjoying her discomfort.
"Sasuke-san, this isn't funny!" she whined, stomping her foot lightly like a child throwing a tantrum. "Stop messing with me!"
"I'm not messing with you," he replied smoothly, though the corner of his lips twitched faintly. "If you're still feeling guilty, treat me to food sometime. That'll make us even."
"F-food?" Hinata repeated, blinking in confusion. "You want me to… buy you food?"
"Yes," Sasuke said simply, nodding once. "Ramen or dango. Your choice."
She stared at him for a moment, her mind struggling to process the absurdity of their conversation. One minute, he was joking about scandalous topics; the next, he was casually suggesting they bond over snacks. It was all so surreal—and yet, strangely endearing.
"O-okay…" she murmured finally, nodding hesitantly. "I'll treat you to food. But only because I owe you…"
"Good," Sasuke replied, smirking faintly. "Now stop worrying. The others will be here soon."
As he turned away, Hinata couldn't help but chuckle softly to herself. Life truly had a funny way of surprising her—and Sasuke Uchiha was proving to be far more unpredictable than she'd ever imagined.
In the span of a single morning, she'd learned two important things:
1. Sasuke could joke—even if it terrified her half to death
2. He liked big-breasted girls—and possibly, just possibly, he might've been referring to her.
And while the second realization sent her heart fluttering uncontrollably, she decided to take his advice: stop overthinking and focus on moving forward.
After all, if Sasuke could joke about such awkward topics, maybe she could learn to laugh at herself too.
