She was always seen as the school's "goth girl" and he was always seen as the school's "nerd." Neither were always popular, and didn't have much friends(Barely any if you were Scary Girl) but that didn't mean they weren't sociable. You'd never think for a second, she even had a crush on Damien with the way she was scaring him every five or four minutes of the day. Scary Girl was just never good at showing her true feelings for anybody, and it got harder as she grew older.
On one particular day Damien and his nerd group were looking at the school bulletin to see if there was any thing worth signing up for. "What about the robotics club?" One of his friends Daryll asked. "Yea, that would be cool, wouldn't it?" Damien thought. "Oh Damien!" Damien quickly jumped in fear as he heard the voice of the girl who constantly scared him. "Oh no, it's Scary Girl again…" Damien muttered. Scary Girl ran over to Damien. "ooo, robotics! I wonder how your head will look on a robot!" Damien's eyes widened. "Did she say what I think she said?!" He asked Daryll, who was also a little scared. "I-I think she did man," he said. "I wonder if you would still scream while I did it, that would be very delicious!" She said. "Uh huh, sure…..." he said, backing away. "Oh well, toodles!" She said, skipping off.
Damien hoped she wasn't actually trying to do the robotics club, he already saw enough of her through the day. And she scared him enough. He just wanted an escape from her is all. Once he walked into the robotics club he saw his other friends Priya and Caleb. "Hey guys!" He said. "Oh, you joined robotics too?" Caleb asked him. "Yea, I just really needed an escape from Scary Girl ya know, she scares me too much," he said. "I needed an escape from Julia, she's kinda annoying ya know," Priya said. "And I just needed something to do after school," Caleb said. "I feel ya," they all turned around and saw Chase there. "Chase, you do robotics?" Priya asked. "Nope, I just wanted something to do so Emma could get off my back," he said with an eye roll.
Scary Girl figured out the best way to show Damien she loved him, make a live robot of him of course! And the best place to do it? The robotics club! They make all kinds of robots there, so she could totally make her robot there. "You know he's never gonna love you right?" Scary Girl turned to Julia. "What makes you say that?" "He's scared of you, what makes you think he'll ever date you?" Julia smirked. Scary Girl thought about it. Would he even love her?
Robotics club was going smooth for Damien. "What robot are you gonna make?" Priya asked him. "I don't know yet, what about you?" "A robot that's gonna help me with my training for med school," she said. "You know you're still in high school, right?" Caleb asked her. "Never too late to start on my future you know?" She responded. "Don't your parents want you to join that Total Drama show they've been training you for?" Chase said. "Yea, but if that doesn't work out then I'll just become a doctor." She seemed honest with that answer.
Scary Girl snuck over to the robotics club so she could get Damien's measurements without him knowing. "Uh what are you doing?" She turned around and saw MK standing there. "I need Damien's measurements for something," she said. "I got them, don't ask why I even needed them," MK said, handing her the paper. "Thank you! Now all I need is some robot pieces," Scary Girl said. "I can get those for you," MK said. "Thanks MK," she said. She skipped off to go start on her robot.
Damien actually went a whole two hours without Scary Girl scaring him. "Can you believe she didn't bug me for a whole two hours yesterday?" He asked Daryll. "That is a surprise, but what do you think she's picking on you for, out of all the people she could scare?" "I don't know." The two continued to walk to class, when they got there, everyone was surprised. "Do you like it?" Scary Girl asked him. "Why does that robot look exactly like me?" He asked her. "Because silly it is you! I made to show you how much I love you!" She said. "He's gonna reject you!" Julia shouted. "Wait, you actually love me, and don't wanna hurt me?" "No silly, unless I need too…." Damien nodded, and smiled, cause this was the most wholesome thing she's ever done for him. "Thanks Scary Girl, this is great," he said. "Do you love it? Or perhaps me?" She asked him. He nodded, answering both questions.
