All right, viewers. Moving on with the next chapter. As I've been saying, in this chapter we finally get to meet my OC. Who will end up joining Sora, Donald and Goofy on their journey across worlds. All work him in this as best as I can, and as for adding any new worlds that weren't in the actual version, I will think about that. For now, let's move on with this chapter

In the world of Traverse Town, Donald, Goofy and Pluto had just arrived, and both looked up to the sky in shock.

"Look, a star's goin' out!" Goofy exclaimed as yet another star blinked out of sight.

"Come on. Let's hurry," Donald urged and the trio proceeded to find the Leon that the king mentioned in the letter.

"Where's that key?" Donald said.

"Hey, ya know, maybe we ought to go find Leon," Goofy suggested. He then noticed that Pluto had wandered over into a small alley in between the item shop and accessory shop. "Uh, Donald. Ya know I betcha that..."

"Ah, what do you know, ya big palooka!" Donald ignored him and kept on walking.

"What do I know?" Goofy questioned himself. "Come on, Pluto!"

Unbeknownst to Donald and Goofy, Pluto had just found the one with the Keyblade, sitting against the wall unconscious. The orange dog licked the young boy, slightly waking him up.

Sora looked around in a daze. "What a dream." He said dozing back off, until Pluto pounced him and woke him up fully. "This isn't a dream!" He got to his feet and looked to his surroundings, finding himself someplace entirely new. "Where am I? Oh, boy." Sora then leaned down to Pluto. "Do you know where we are?"

Pluto then took off running out of the alley and Sora followed after, finding himself even more confused.

"This is totally weird. I'm in another world!" Sora exclaimed and he proceeded to search around for his missing friends, meeting and finding other people who were also from other worlds.

He then decided to go into the accessory shop to find out more.

"Hey there, how can I..." the old shopkeeper said but stopped when he saw the young boy. "Aw, it's only a kid."

"I'm not a kid!" Sora said offended. "And the name's Sora!"

"Okay, okay, simmer down. So, why the long face, Sora? You lost or somethin'?"

"No! Well, maybe. Where are we?"

"Huh?" said the shopkeeper.

The two then had a conversation about where they were and where Sora was from.

"Traverse Town?" Sora said confused. "So, gramps, is this really another world?"

"Don't call me gramps! The name's Cid!" Cid exclaimed. "Anyway. Not sure what you're talkin' about, but this sure ain't your island."

"Hmm. Guess I'd better start looking for Riku and Kairi."

"Well, good luck with whatever it is you're doing. If you ever run into trouble, you come to me. I'll look out for you."

Sora left the accessory shop and made his way to the Second District, where there were more shops, a large boarded up bell on top of the area called the Gizmo Shop, and there was even a hotel.

As the young boy entered the Second District, a man was running and then tripped right in front of Sora. Only seconds after he fell, his heart flew out of his body, causing him to disappear and it went into a dark portal, where an armored creature formed, but then disappeared as well. Sora quickly ran over to where the man disappeared and suddenly the same shadow creatures from the islands appeared and surrounded him.

"It's those creatures from the island!" Sora exclaimed drawing the Keyblade.

He fought the strange black creatures and wandered through the Second District, finding more of them along the way. He quickly returned to First District to try and escape them, but once in the First District the creatures had begun to appear there as well. Leaving no other choice, he returned to the Accessory Shop for shelter.

"Still haven't found 'em?" Cid asked. "Keep your chin up. Take another look around town."

Following Cid's advice, Sora left the Accessory Shop, keeping the Keyblade in hand.

"They'll come at you out of nowhere," a voice spoke startling Sora, and he turned to see a man with long dark brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a white shirt underneath a black vest, with black pants and gloves.

"Who are you?" Sora asked.

"And they'll keep on coming at you, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade," the man said pointing at the said weapon. "But why? Why would it choose a kid like you?"

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Sora said in an offended tone.

"Never mind," said the stranger as he approached Sora. "Now, let's see that Keyblade."

"What? There's no way you're getting this!" Sora said holding it out of the man's reach.

"All right. Then have it your way," the man heaved a sword with a gun shaped handle called the Gunblade over his shoulder and readied to fight.

Sora took on the man, who proved to be a tough opponent, but Sora managed to beat him back, wearing himself out in the process.

"Now...you're...gonna. You're gonna..." Sora panted and then collapsed from exhaustion, falling unconscious once more.

"Aw, you're slipping, Leon," spoke a female voice.

Leon turned around to see a young girl with short black hair and purple eyes. She wore a green top with a yellow scarf, light tan short shorts, a pair of knee socks and light brown boots.

"I went easy on him," Leon said. "Still. It looks like things are worse than we thought. A lot worse." The two stared down to the Keyblade.

Elsewhere, Riku awoke to see his surroundings. He was in an entirely different world. He was on a large blue rock, and there were other floating ones, and all around there were waterfalls with the water rising instead of falling.

"Where am I?" Riku asked himself. He looked all around to see he was alone. No sign of his friends anywhere. "Sora! Kairi!" He called out for his friends.

Unbeknownst to the young boy, someone had already found him.

Back in Traverse Town, Donald and Goofy continued their search. They wandered through an alleyway on the other side of the hotel, looking for the Keyblade.

"Gawrsh, there's nobody here. Sure is spooky!" Goofy shivered.

"Aw, phooey. I'm not scared," Donald said. But someone tapped him on the shoulder, causing him to panic and jump onto Goofy's back.

"Excuse me. Did the king send you?" said a feminine voice.

Donald and Goofy turned around to see two people.

The first was a girl with green eyes and long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail with a red ribbon, wearing a pink dress and brown boots.

The other was a guy of the same age. He had short light brown hair that was slicked up and silver eyes. He wore a dark blue shirt, with black pants and boots and over his torso he wore a shiny silver overcoat. And on his back, he had a combat sword with a slightly curved blade.

"You're looking for my brother Leon, right?" said the guy. "Come with us and we'll take you to him. We've got a lot to talk about."

"Come on, lazy bum. Wake up."

Sora began to regain consciousness and found himself in a bed of a green hotel room. And as he regained his vision, he saw that standing right on front of the bed, was none other than Kairi.

"You okay?" Kairi asked.

"I guess," Sora replied all groggy.

"Those creatures that attacked you are after the Keyblade," Kairi explained. "But it's your heart they really want, because you wield the Keyblade."

"I'm so glad that you're okay, Kairi," Sora said in a relieved tone.

"Kairi? Who are you talking about?" And then her voice changed. "I'm the great ninja, Yuffie."

"Huh?" Sora puzzled and instantly he stopped hallucinating, and saw he'd actually been talking to the young ninja girl.

"I think you might've overdone it, Squall," Yuffie said to Leon who just entered the room.

"That's Leon."

"The Keyblade," Sora said looking at said weapon leaning against the wall.

"Yeah. We had to get it away from you to shake off those creatures," Yuffie explained. "It turns out, that's how they were tracking you."

"It was the only way to conceal your heart from them. But it won't work for long. Still hard to believe that you of all people are the chosen one," Leon picked up the Keyblade and held it out, causing it to disappear and reappear in Sora's hands. "Well, I suppose beggars can't be choosers."

"Why don't you start making sense. What's going on here?" Sora asked in a stern tone.

In the red hotel room that was right next door, Donald and Goofy were talking with the two people they'd met in the alleyway.

"All right, where do Aerith and I begin?" Leon's brother said and sat in a chair next to the bed, while Aerith sat at the foot of the bed.

"Well, for starters you know there are other worlds, besides your castle and this town, right?" Aerith asked Donald and Goofy.

"Yeah," Donald replied.

"But they're supposed to be a secret," Goofy said while covering his mouth.

"They've been secret," Aerith replied.

"For so long the worlds have all been divided, and have never been connected," Leon's brother said.

"Until now," Aerith continued. "When the Heartless came, everything changed."

"The Heartless?" Sora questioned.

"The ones who attacked you. You remember?" Yuffie asked.

"Those without hearts," said Leon.

"Heartless are shadow creatures born from the darkness in people's hearts," said Leon's brother.

"The darkness in people's hearts: That's what attracts them," Yuffie explained.

"And there is darkness within every heart," Leon spoke once more.

"Hey, have you heard of someone named Ansem?" Yuffie asked Sora.

"Ansem?" Goofy asked.

"He was a very wise researcher in our world," Leon's brother explained. "Maybe the greatest there ever was."

"He was studying the Heartless," Aerith chimed in. "He recorded all of his findings in a very detailed report."

"Gawrsh, uh, can we see it?" Goofy asked.

"We don't have it," said Leon's brother.

"Its pages are scattered everywhere," Aerith said shaking her head.

"Scattered?" Donald puzzled.

"Too many worlds," Aerith said.

"So many worlds out there, those pages of the report could be anywhere."

"Oh, then maybe the king went to find them," Goofy suggested.

"Yes, those were mine and Jim's thoughts exactly," Aerith agreed.

"We've gotta find him quick!" Goofy exclaimed.

"Wait!" Donald interrupted. "First we need that key!"

"That's right. The Keyblade," Aerith said.

"Leon and Yuffie are out looking for it as we speak," Jim said.

"So, this is the key?" Sora said holding up the Keyblade.

"Exactly," Yuffie replied.

"The Heartless have great fear of the Keyblade," Leon explained. "That's why they'll keep coming after you, no matter what."

"Well, I didn't ask for this," Sora said.

"The Keyblade chooses its master. And it chose you," said Yuffie.

"So, tough luck," Leon said leaning against the door to the next room.

"How did all this happen? I remember being in my room..." Sora quickly got to his feet with a gasp, suddenly remembering everything. "Wait a minute! What happened to my home? My island? Riku! Kairi!" He spoke sadly.

"You know what? I really don't know," was all Leon could say.

"I've heard that the Keyblade can open all sorts of locks," Yuffie explained to Sora. "Give it a try next time you find a treasure chest or a door lock."

Sora looked to the round table in the center of the room, where a blue and yellow treasure chest sat. Following Yuffie's advice, he tapped it with the Keyblade, opening it up and finding an Elixir inside.

Sora then turned towards Leon.

"Sooner or later, the Heartless will find you. You'd best prepare yourself," Leon said.

"Prepare myself?" Sora questioned.

"To fight for your life? Are you ready?"

"I'm ready," Sora responded.

"Yuffie, let's go join Jim and Aerith," Leon said to the younger girl. "They should be there by now with the other visitors."

"Leon!" Yuffie exclaimed as a Soldier Heartless appeared in the room.

"Yuffie, go!" Leon urged.

Yuffie quickly ran through the doors to the red room, slamming the door on Donald in the process.

"Yuffie!" Aerith exclaimed following her.

Leon and Sora both readied their weapons.

"Sora, let's go!" Leon said and kicked the Heartless through the window, jumping out after it with Sora following him.

Inside the red room, the door closed and revealed Donald flattened against the wall.

"Are you alright?" Jim asked with a small chuckle.

Down in the alleyway, Sora and Leon found themselves surrounded by more Soldier Heartless.

"Don't bother with the small fry. Find the leader! Let's go!" Leon exclaimed running down the alley.

Sora made his way back to the Second District. After fighting through several more Heartless he went to the Third District. Once at Third District, Sora ran down the staircase, and right above him on a building balcony, were Jim, Donald and Goofy.

The trio then found themselves surrounded by two Soldier Heartless.

"Gawrsh, are these the Heartless guys?" Goofy asked hiding behind his Knight's Shield.

"Ugly, aren't they?" Jim replied pulling his sword off his back and the blade coated itself in blue electricity as he did.

"Let's go get 'em, Goofy!" Donald said wielding his Mage's Staff.

Suddenly a large explosion occurred and blasted all three of them off the balcony.

Sora heard their screaming and tried to run for it, only to be pile driven into the ground as they all landed on him.

The four all groaned from the impact, but Donald and Goofy quickly recovered at what they saw.

"The key!" they both said happily knowing they found what they were after.

"We've been looking for you," Jim said as they all got to their feet.

Seconds after they did, the ground started to rumble, and tall pillars arose from the ground, blocking off every means of escape.

"We're trapped!" Jim exclaimed as Soldier Heartless started to appear atop the pillars and on the ground floor.

The four all readied their weapons and together they beat back all the Heartless that had appeared.

But their troubles were far from over, for after defeating the smaller Heartless a large red, blue and gray armored Heartless called Guard Armor dropped down and assembled itself, ready to fight.

Joining together once more, the four allies had fought this armored Heartless, taking out its individual parts one after another, then once defeating the metal armored torso of the enemy, it started to rattle, and then the helmet fell from the armor. A large glowing heart then flew from the Heartless and then it vanished in a flash of light.

After the enemy was defeated, the pillars lowered, allowing Leon and Yuffie to enter the district.

"So, you were looking for me?" Sora asked.

"Uh-huh," Donald and Goofy nodded.

"They too have been seeking the wielder of the Keyblade," Leon chimed in.

"Hey, why don't you both come with us?" Goofy said to both Jim and Sora. "We can go to other worlds on our vessel."

"Me?" Jim asked.

"You were great against those Heartless," Donald piped up.

"I wonder if I could find Riku and Kairi," Sora said to himself.

"Of course!" Donald exclaimed.

Sora perked up, knowing this was an opportunity to find his missing friends.

"Are you sure?" Goofy turned to Donald.

"Who knows? But we need them to come with us, to help us find the king." Donald responded quietly to his friend.

"Sora, go with them," Leon urged. "Especially if you want to find your friends. You too, Jim. If you go with them, maybe you can find more information on what the Heartless' ultimate goal is."

"Good point," Jim replied.

"Yeah. I guess," Sora said in a sad tone.

"But you can't come along looking like that. Understand?" Donald said. "No frowning. No sad face. Okay?"

"Yeah, you gotta look funny, like us," Goofy chuckled as Donald shoved him aside.

"This boat runs on happy faces." Donald said once more.

Jim let out a chuckle and turned away with a roll of his eyes. "Whatever you say?"

"Happy?" Sora said still facing the ground.

Everyone stood in silence, possibly waiting to see how he'd respond.

Sora then bent down and lifted his face up, giving a big goofy grin. He looked at Donald and Goofy confused, and they both laughed hysterically.

"That's one funny face!" Goofy exclaimed over his laughter.

"Okay, why not? I'll go with you guys," Sora said once they stopped laughing.

"And I can already tell this is going to be a bizarre journey, but I'm in," Jim said as well.

"Donald Duck," Donald introduced and put out his hand.

"Name's Goofy," Goofy put his hand as well.

"James Leonhart. But you guys can call me Jim," the older man said and put his hand above theirs.

"I'm Sora," the young boy put his hand in.

"All for one and one for all!" Goofy said.

Elsewhere unbeknownst to any of the four allies, they were all being watched.

"That little squirt took down that Heartless!" a voice exclaimed angrily. "Who'd have thought it?"

"Such is the power of the Keyblade. The child's strength is not his own," said a second male voice.

"Why don't we turn him into a Heartless?" A lady's voice said followed by a sinister laugh. "That'll settle things quick enough."

"And the brat's two friends are the king's lackeys. Who the young man is, I do not know," said a third man. "Swoggle me eyes, they're all bilge rats by the look of them."

"You're no prize yourself," another male voice said and cackled.

"Shut up!" the other man exclaimed raising a hook for a hand.

"Enough," said a second woman's voice. The others all turned to see the leader of this whole insidious plot. "The Keyblade has chosen him. Will it be he who conquers the darkness? Or will the darkness swallow him? Either way he could be quite useful," Maleficent said with a sly grin.

Back in Traverse Town, the four warriors had readied to make their leave, while Leon, Yuffie and Aerith had come to see them off, as well as give them some last-minute advice.

"Make sure you're prepared for the journey ahead of you," Leon began. "We don't know how far the Heartless have spread."

"Check out the shops here. They've got some pretty neat stuff!" Yuffie advised.

"This is from all of us," Aerith said and gave the group 500 munny. "Spend it as you see fit. And this is from Leon." She said giving him an Elixir.

"Good luck!" Yuffie said.

"I hope you find your friends," said Aerith.

"Look out for each other. Keep your spirits up," Leon said and the trio took their leave.

"The gummi ship is outside that gate," Donald said gesturing to the gate straight ahead.

"The what?" Sora asked.

"That's our ship," Donald explained.

"Wait 'til you see it!" Goofy said excitedly.

"Hold on. Sora, this is for you," Donald said giving him a fire spell. "Now you can use magic, too. Goofy, give him the other thing."

"What?" Goofy puzzled.

"You know!" Donald said impatiently.

"Oh, yeah!" Goofy remembered and gave Sora a dodge roll ability.

"Abilities allow you to do all sorts of things," Goofy said. "Guess we should look for 'em along the way, huh?"

"I know a few myself," Jim said.

"Okay, is that it? Let's get going!" Sora urged.

"Not 'til we're ready!" Donald replied.

Behind them all Jiminy knew there was going to be much he had to keep track of.

"Well, I see big adventures coming their way!" the small cricket said. "Looks like it's up to me to keep track of it all in my journal!"

The four allies made their way to the gates to leave for other worlds but stopped when they noticed a small blue mark on the ground.

"Hey, look at this mark," Goofy said. "I wonder what it is."

"I've heard of these," Jim kneeled down the mark made up three hearts. "Trinity marks. Unsealing them can help us get great items and other stuff. There are more colors, too. But we'll have to learn to use the others along the way. With these blue ones though, all we have to do is concentrate hard and jump."

Deciding to take their new ally's advice, they all circled around it and then jumped, unsealing the trinity mark and releasing a bunch of munny and potions from it.

After collecting the items, the four friends left through the gates to begin their journey.

So ends this chapter and begins their first journey. So, what did you think of my OC? I thought him up a long time ago with a close friend of mine. I don't know about anyone else, but to me the name James Leonhart had a nice ring to it, but that's just my opinion. I think I can work him into the other games, but mainly the ones that involve Sora, Donald and Goofy. As for Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance, I don't think I'll be able to work him into those. So, I'll be sure to update soon. Until then, please read, review and enjoy.
