All right, then viewers. Moving on from the Deep Jungle the last world of the first 4 new worlds, Olympus Coliseum. Here as you all know is where they meet Hercules and others, but looking from my OC's point of view, Jim sure is gonna be surprised to see someone else if you know who I mean. If not, you'll see soon enough. Let's go.

Arriving in the next new world, the four travelers found themselves standing outside of a large coliseum, where two tall, golden warrior statues, crossing swords stood over the entrance doors, along with several golden braziers lit with flames across the sandy grounds.

Making their way through to the entrance, they found themselves inside a small lobby, where the entrance to the arena was closed off, and next to there was a small half goat half man creature known as a satyr named Philoctetes, who was setting up a plaque on the wall.

The four friends had approached that small creature, and Sora tried to speak up.

"Good timing," said Phil. "Give me a hand, will ya? Move that pedestal over there for me. I gotta spruce this place up for the games."

Deciding to do as he asked, Sora went over and tried to move the pedestal but couldn't get it to move an inch from its hefty weight.

"It weighs a ton!" Sora exclaimed and walked back over to Phil. "It's way too heavy!"

"What? Too heavy?" Phil said in disbelief "Since when have you been such a little..." He turned to see Sora and the others. "Oh, wrong guy. What are you doing here?" He jumped off the stool he stood upon and started to approach them. "This here's the world-famous Coliseum. Heroes only! And I got my hands full preparing for the games. So, run along, pipsqueaks."

Sora shot the goat-man a glare, who returned it.

"Look, it's like this. Heroes are coming from all over to fight ferocious monsters right here in the coliseum."

"You've got heroes standing right in front of you," Donald declared.

"Yup, he's a real hero, chosen by the Keyblade," Goofy said putting his hands on Sora's shoulders.

"And we're heroes, too," Donald said once more.

"Hero?" Phil said taken back. "Him, maybe." He pointed towards Jim. "But that runt?" And then he began to laugh hysterically.

"What's so funny?" Sora said completely offended. "I've fought a bunch of monsters."

Phil's laughter subsided and he began to try and move the pedestal. "Hey, if you can't even move this..." He said, trying to move the pedestal, but couldn't get it to budge either, which earned a smirk from the four outsiders. "...you can't call yourself..." He still proceeded to try and move it. "...a hero!" He then collapsed from exhaustion

"You were saying?" Jim asked cracking a small grin.

"Okay, so it takes more than brawn," Phil admitted. "Well, let's see what you can do."

Deciding to take his challenge to prove themselves, the four friends approached the goat-man.

"This trial is tough. You got what it takes? You ready?" Phil asked.

"I'm ready!" Sora declared.

"Okay, kid. Let's see what you've got."

Phil had led them out to the arena where almost two dozen barrels were set up, around the area.

"The rules are simple: Bust all the barrels within the time limit," Phil explained. "Ready? Go!"

Sora quickly raced against a 30 second time limit, using the Keyblade to break the barrels, knocking them away in other areas, which helped break the others and helped Sora beat the timer.

"Not bad!" Phil said. "For a beginner, that is."

Moving onto the next stage of the course, Phil had set up 25 barrels across the arena.

"The rules are simple: Bust all the barrels within the time limit," Phil said once more. "Ready? Go!"

Racing against the clock once more, Sora ran to begin busting the barrels within a minute. Sticking to what he did before, the young boy used the Keyblade and tossed barrels at one another, beating the clock once again.

"Hey, you're better than I thought!" Phil said impressed.

After finishing the course, they all returned to the lobby.

"You know, you ain't bad, kid," Phil said to the young boy.

Sora chuckled. "Looks like I'm headed for the games." He said confidently.

"Afraid not," Phil said.

"Why not?"

"Two words: You guys ain't heroes!" Phil declared.

"Come on!" Sora said in disappointment.

"That was 4 words," Jim said.

"Wanna become a real hero?" Phil asked. "Start by mastering this spell." He then gave the group a thunder magic spell.

Realizing that he wasn't gonna allow them to participate in the games, they exited the coliseum.

"Rather a stubborn old goat, wouldn't you say?" a voice caught their attention.

The four friends turned to see the god of the Underworld, Hades.

"Who are you?" Donald asked.

"Whoa, hold on there, fuzz boy. Wait, let me guess. You want to enter the games, right?" Hades approached Sora and put a hand on his shoulder. "Well, then, hey. Get a load of this." And then an entry pass appeared in his other hand.

"A pass?" Sora asked.

"It's all yours," Hades said and proceeded to leave. "Good luck, kid. I'm pulling for you, little shorty."

"I definitely got bad vibes from that guy," Jim said and Donald nodded in response. "May as well use that ticket though."

The four friends returned to the coliseum lobby and gave Phil the entry ticket.

"Hey, how'd you get this?" Phil asked.

"Some strange guy just gave it to us," Jim replied.

"Can we enter the games now?" Sora asked.

"Well...I guess so. We start with the preliminaries! Ready for the preliminaries?"

"Yeah, let's go!" Sora said excitedly.

"Some real weirdoes signed up for the games. Things are gonna heat up, so you'd better be ready."

With all that said and done, Phil led them back out to the arena and into the fighting ring, where they readied their weapons to fight. A barrier had appeared in the ring and then a platoon of Heartless called the Shadow Scout appeared. They were made up of Soldiers and Blue Rhapsody's that resembled the Red Nocturnes but utilized in using ice attacks.

Teaming up like they had since the start of the journey, the four allies had taken on the platoon of Heartless and beat them all in almost no time at all.

After winning the first match, the four friends stepped out of the arena for a breather.

"You're no heroes yet, but you ain't doing bad," Phil complimented. "Lucky you came to me for coaching.

And then someone else walked into the arena, and Jim's eyes went wide at the sight of him.

It was a man around Jim's age, who had spikey blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore a dark blue armored vest, with a red cape hanging over his right arm, while an armored shoulder pad rested on his left shoulder. He also wore dark blue pants and dark brown boots. On his right hand, he wore a dark brown fingerless glove, and on the left a glove with gold claws on the fingers.

"Cloud?" Jim said in complete shock.

"Hey, Jim," he said walking off while looking at the others.

"You know him?" Sora asked.

Jim nodded. "His name is Cloud Strife. Me, Leon and the others have known him most of our lives. But we haven't seen him since the day we lost our world to the Heartless."

"Something tells me he'll be a tough one to beat," Phil chimed in. "Who knows, maybe you'll end up facing him."

"He's tough all right," Jim replied. "One of the greatest fighters I've ever known."

Returning to the ring, they readied for the next match. The next platoon of Heartless was called Sinisters, made up of a group of Shadows and three Blue Rhapsodies.

Fighting together, they took on and beat this next platoon of Heartless. Following this, was a platoon called Heat and Freeze, formed from both Red Nocturnes and Blue Rhapsodies.

Once they won the match, they stepped out of the ring once more for another break.

"Say, you're better than I thought kid!" Phil said amazed. "Wish he was here to see this."

"Who?" Sora asked.

"Hercules. He's a hero if there ever was one. Too bad he's off visiting his father."

Heading back into the ring, their next match begun against a platoon of Heartless called Shadow Platoon, made up of three Red Nocturnes, three Blue Rhapsodies, two Soldiers and two Shadows.

Readying themselves, the four allies took on this next match and beat back the Heartless with ease.

Their next opponents were a group called Blue Revenge, made entirely of Blue Rhapsodies.

Together they took on their frozen foes and beat them back like all the others.

Unbeknownst to the four outsiders, as they celebrated their victory, the same person who gave them the entry pass was watching them, from outside the arena where the monsters to fight would be deployed.

"That little punk is your next opponent, okay?" Hades said turning to Cloud. "Now, don't blow it. Just take him out."

Cloud looked to Hades with a raised eyebrow. "The great god of the Underworld is afraid of a kid? Sorry, but my contract says-"

"I know! You think I don't know I wrote the contract!" Hades said in a fury. "I know it says you're only required to kill Hercules in this tournament. But you've gotta fight that kid to get to him. Come on." Hades pointed towards the four outsiders, talking with Phil in the arena. "Hey, it's like that old goat says: Rule 11: It's all just a game, so let loose and have fun with it! I mean a casualty or two along the way is no big deal, right?"

Cloud then made his way out to the arena.

"And one more thing: Don't hold back against your old friend there," Hades said gesturing to Jim. "Geez. Stiffer than the stiffs back home. Still, suckers like him are hard to come by..." Hades said as something growled ferociously in the shadows behind.

In the ring, Sora and friends readied for the semifinal match. A platoon of Heartless called the Big One, made up of four Red Nocturnes, four Blue Rhapsodies and a Large Body.

Working together, they took on the platoon of Heartless and beat it back as a team.

Then the final match was against Cloud. The latter wielded a large, jagged sword, with the blade covered in white wrappings. During the match, Cloud fought rather berserk, using sliding dash attacks and slamming his sword into the ground, which created shockwaves.

But together, the four friends were able to overtake and beat Cloud, who knelt down in exhaustion once he was defeated.

Sora approached their opponent, but before either of them could say anything, Cloud turned around and was stomped on by a large and monstrous three headed dog, called Cerberus

"Oh, right, there was one other rule I forgot: Accidents happen," Hades said walking out of the arena.

Cerberus had prepared to attack and finish off Sora and the others but was kept back by a certain hero.

"Herc!" Phil yelled.

"Phil, get them out of here!" Hercules exclaimed.

Taking this chance, Phil and the four friends ran out of the arena and back into the lobby.

"Whew, that was close!" Phil said catching his breath. "That was Cerberus, the guardian of the Underworld. Herc should be able to handle him. But then again, maybe not. This doesn't look good." The goat man said in a worried tone.

Deciding not to let Hercules get killed by that monstrosity, the four friends decided to go back and help him against Cerberus.

"Kid, you're not entering the arena, are ya?" Phil asked. "This ain't some match. This is for real!"

"I'm not afraid," Sora said. "You can decide if I'm hero material or not."

"Careful, kid!"

Back out in the arena, Hercules with an unconscious Cloud heaved over his shoulder was backed up by Cerberus against the wall.

But then Cerberus turned around to see Sora and friends enter the arena, ready to fight.

Taking his chance, Hercules quickly ran out, to get Cloud to safety.

"Kid, I got two words of advice for you: Attack!" Phil exclaimed.

"That's one word!" Jim exclaimed and they readied to fight this tri-headed monster dog.

As the battle began, Cerberus attacked by snapping its three sets of jaws at them, shooting fireballs from his mouths and blasting shadows from his mouths into the ground, which blasted up from the ground floor. But despite all this, the four friends were able to beat that behemoth back. As the battle ended, Cerberus let out a groan and collapsed to the ground.

Back in the lobby, Phil had awarded them greatly for their victory. He'd given them all hero licenses.

"Thus, I do hereby dub thee junior heroes," Phil said reading over a sheet of paper. "And confer upon thee full rights and privileges to participate in the games. Further-"

"Hey, what do you mean, 'junior heroes'?!" Donald squawked.

"You rookies still don't understand what it takes to be a true hero," Phil stated.

"So, what does it take?" Goofy asked.

"Well, that's just something you'll have to find out for yourselves," Hercules chimed in. "Just the way that I did."

"No problem," Sora said. "We'll start by proving ourselves in the games."

"There ain't gonna be any games for a while," Phil said once more. "Gotta clean up the mess from that last battle first."

"Okay, we'll be back," Sora said and they took their leave.

"I still can't believe that squirt actually beat Cerberus," Phil said tugging on his beard.

"Just between us, I'd already worn Cerberus down by the time the little guy jumped in," Hercules whispered into Phil's ear.

"My lips are sealed."

Exiting the lobby, the four travelers made their way to the world exit, finding Cloud at the steps.

"Cloud?" Jim spoke, getting his attention.

"Hey, are you all right?" Sora asked.

"Yeah," Cloud replied lowly.

"So, what was all that about, Cloud?" Jim asked.

"Yeah, why'd you go along with him, anyway?" Sora asked as well.

Cloud leaned on his hands "I'm looking for someone. Hades promised to help."

"You're still looking for him, aren't you?" said Jim.

"Yeah. I won't stop until we settle it. I tried to exploit the power of darkness, but it backfired," Cloud said getting to his feet. "I fell into darkness, and I couldn't find the light."

"You'll find it," Sora encouraged.

"I think he's right, Cloud," Jim chimed in. "You're one of the strongest people I know."

"I'm searching, too," Sora said again.

"For your light?" Cloud asked and Sora nodded. "Don't lose sight of it." He said giving Sora a new ability and walking off.

"How about a rematch sometime?" Sora called to him. "Fair and square, no dark powers involved."

Cloud looked back to Sora and brushed the hair from his forehead. "I think I'll pass." He said with a smirk.

"Great seeing you again, Cloud," Jim said.

"Yeah. Same to you," Cloud said and walked off.

As Cloud left, Sora and friends did as well. Shortly after leaving though, the skies turned dark.

"He's strong, he's kind. He's always there for you, and he's handsome to boot," Hades said, holding a small illusion of Hercules in the palm of his hand. "He's perfect. Perfect. Perfectly infuriating! He makes me crazy." Hades said causing his skin and fiery hair to turn red and then flaring up. "Wait a minute. What are you worried about? All the pieces are in place. Relax." He said calming himself. "Here's what you do. Let Hercules train the kid. In the next games, I'll take care of them both."

And then Maleficent had appeared behind him.

"Who invited you to the party?" Hades said to the evil fairy. "Stay out of this. This is my show."

"As you wish. Fight to your heart's content," Maleficent said taking her leave, with Hades shooting a glare at her.

And that ends this chapter. Next chapter they'll return to Traverse Town, so that they'll be set for discovering all new worlds, as well as new Heartless and new enemies. Until then, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. And looking through Jim's point of view, it must have been really good to be reunited with an old friend. I'm sure Leon and the others will be surprised to hear it. I'll make sure of it. Please read, review and enjoy.
