It had been 20 years since the villains of the land had been gathered, brought back from the dead, and thrown onto the Isle of the Lost. And, the icing on the cake, an anti-magic barrier was placed all around the Isle. That barrier made it impossible for any beings to escape, to use big magic-- some magic was still possible but only little things like Maleficent's glowing eyes of intimidation or Dr. Facilier's tarot readings. And Tinkerbell's healing salves. That's right, Tinkerbell had been banished to the Isle for her trick. She, in her jealous anger, had gotten the Lost Boys to shoot at the "Wendy bird" and almost got her killed if not for the thimble. No one got hurt and people do stupid things for those they love and care about... but that didn't matter. It was still considered an evil act and Wendy should have been killed that day. So a jealous faerie's mischief got her sent to the Isle. But that wasn't to say that Tinkerbell didn't understand. No, she accepted the punishment. She just didn't know it would last for 20 years. And she certainly thought she would get released if she did good deeds on the Isle for the villains. Since she had been thrown on the island prison, she had made a medicinal shop once she noticed that the shipments of old, rotten, stale, and half-eaten foods and other "useless" items from Auradon didn't involve expired medicines of any kind. She gathered herbs, she used what she could, and she would help anyone in need, no matter their act of villainy. However, after 3 years without a word or sign from Auradon, the blond faerie started to lose hope. She had been abandoned and that stung but at least she had a purpose. A faerie without a purpose was not a faerie at all. And a faerie who had spent her whole lifetime surrounded by the magic of Neverland could not live forever without it. The magic within her dwindled each and every day, with every salve and medicine she made.By the 4th year, Tinkerbell was blessed with her own purposeful baby faerie. It wasn't the typical union of two beings that brought about that babe-- no, it was Tinkerbell's need for an heir that was not born surrounded by magic, that wouldn't be reliant upon magic to live, that brought the child into existence. With soft wispy curls and eyes the color of seafoam, the baby would surely continue the necessary work that managed to keep the Isle from becoming a leper colony.Xx.xX15 years went by in a flash and though the Isle was still full of villains and their children had been raised to lie, cheat, and steal; there was one place that was considered neutral territory-- Tinkerbell's Pharmacy. But that was because she never asked for money-- the price she asked for was whatever they could spare. If they could spare one mealy apple full of bruises or a dented can of soup... a decent scrap of cloth that could be patchworked into clothing or even a "pretty" stone or shell found near Goblin's Wharf or by the docks where the pirates kept their ships... anything she could use was worth more to her than money. There had even been times where VKs had entered her establishment with nothing on them and she patched them up for free. And since her Pharmacy was so vital to any and all, she never had to worry about it being trashed or stolen from. The baby she had been blessed with turned into a lovely 15 year old young woman with hair the color of gold that she kept in a flirty pixie cut of curls. Those seafoam eyes that sparkled with mischief and intrigue, she lined them with dark kohl that she got from Harry Hook in exchange of her medical prowess.Yes, that Hook... the son of Captain James Hook. He was a rapscallion who took his name of villainy quite seriously. Though he had his own hook, Tinkerbell knew he never recieved his father's praise and he would never get it until the boy was captain of his own ship. Unfortunately, he was too wild, too fiery. Captain Hook could get that way when faced with his nemesis but Harry had a dark insanity that could take him over. He needed a captain to keep him from going too far. And he found that captain in the Sea Witch's daughter, Uma.The aquatic teal-haired girl often came to the Pharmacy with some wares to trade for salves and medicines that she would then sell to the Isle. It was an agreement that Tinkerbell was happy to make. It guarenteed that her items would make it further than to whomever could get into her shop. But she was also getting older, her inner-magic was dampening... so the past year or so, she would send out her daughter Fae to deliver the product directly to Uma or Harry. Most found it unusual that the older faerie had no problem with her kin around pirates but she knew they were good... at least they were better than their parents. Uma was a good leader who, despite her circumstances, would not let her anger cloud her judgement. And Harry had proven time and time again that he would protect Fae no matter what. He was a loyal boy who often teased her daughter just to see her blush and sputter. It was cute... and she would miss it...Xx.xXFae ran fast, practically flew down the streets in hot pursuit of the only one who could help her. She had heard that the soon-to-be-King was allowing Jay, Carlos, Evie, and Mal off the Isle and letting them attend Auradon Prep. This was her only chance! A letter had been hastily written before she took off and it was now wrinkling in her small fist as she parkoured over stalls, people, and items. She had to make it in time to give to Mal. Mal was the leader of the Core Four, a gang of villain kids who ran part of the Isle that Uma had yet to sink her tentacles into. Mal could give the letter to Prince Ben... or maybe even Fairy Godmother! A fellow magic-based person wouldn't allow her mother to suffer anymore! Surely she would at least get her into a guarded room so she could soak up magic and heal from all the years without! At least... she hoped so...The golden-blond faerie spotted a flash of purple hair and shouted, "Mal!" The purple half-fae turned those poison apple green eyes as Fae stopped on a pin, panting as her seafoam eyes locked onto her. "... please... give this to... Prince... or Fairy... Godmother..." She held out the letter for the other girl to take. But she raised her eyebrow. "And... why would I do that?"Fae straightened up. "This isn't about you or me, this is about what's best for the Isle. We don't have much time and the driver looks like he's getting ready to take off without you." She forced the paper into a pocket in her jacket. "I'll owe you so big, just please give it to one of them."Mal glared at the intrusion of her person, her eyes glowing with the intimidation she learned from her mother Maleficent. But she didn't say a word. Fae took that as the best she was going to get and thanked her before taking off in a dead sprint back to the Pharmacy. She had done it... she had given her mother the best chance she could to get better.Too bad she forgot one thing-- villains didn't do favors.
