Le challenge rules:
I shall put my music library on shuffle and pair her top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.

And you don't HAVE to listen to the song first...but you might want to. And author's notes are bolded.

7. Jellyfish (The Summer I Turned Pretty) – "The Dump Truck Song" by Larry Groce - 4 min. timer

Okay, this one is going to require an explanation, lol. So I had these three yellow cassette tapes from Grandma that had kid songs on them. Most of them were well-known kids songs, but once in awhile there'd be a unique one like this. So Mother really liked this one, and she would sing it all the time, except her whole thing was how cramped the seats were, and she would exclusively sing, "It's so cozy to ride in my dump truck! Everybody come and squish your fanny with me!" And then if we played it, all the animals would get the fanny squishing treatment, "Hey, there, Miss Kitty, get your fanny squished in my truck!" So this song is 100% synonymous with fanny squishage in my head, and...and that's all it can be! And it's only typing this that I realize that what Mother (and I) was mentally referring to was a PICKUP truck, not a dump truck, lolol, oops. But, uh, yeah, it's a pickup truck, that's what this story has, just go with it.

"But, Belly, it's so cozy to ride in my pickup truck! Come and take a ride with me!"

"I don't even know why you bought a pickup truck," she said, rolling her eyes but smiling. "You're not even country."

"Hop on in, ma'am," he said, dawning a fake, thick southern accent and tipping an imaginary cowboy hat as he opened the door for her.

She took his hand and climbed into the very high and – very cramped – seat.

"Um-" The passenger seat was full to the ceiling with a multitude of things, including, it looked like, an entire thick comforter, which she was half melting into. "-it's very cramped in here-"

"Cozy, you mean!"

And then she realized his motive, as he slid in beside her, and she had to almost sit in his lap to make room. Off he went, one hand on the wheel, the other on her butt.

This song has been stuck in my head for almost three decades, I'm pretty sure. Also, I definitely started to type "The Summer I Had A Headache" because that is the only thing I refer to this show as lol.
