Major Rewrite Announcement – Aged-Up Characters & Story Revisions

Hey everyone,

This is a major rewrite of Bane. When I first wrote this story, I was really young—probably too young to be writing half the things I did—and looking back, there are a lot of things I don't like about the original version.

What's Changing?

Aging Up the Characters: They were in high school before, but I've decided to make them college-age adults. Some scenes just don't sit right with me now that I'm older, and this change makes way more sense.

Grammar & Clarity Fixes: The original had messy writing, awkward phrasing, and grammar mistakes that I need to clean up.

Better Flow & Worldbuilding: I'm keeping the core of the story the same, but I'm rewriting sections to make everything stronger, clearer, and more immersive.

Some Scene Adjustments: A few moments just don't work anymore with the new character ages, so expect some refinements.

What's Staying the Same?

The main plot and character arcs are not changing.

The tone, themes, and overall story will still have the same energy—just more polished.

If you loved Bane before, you'll still love it now (hopefully even more).
