Chapter 1
(Western Empire)
It was a nice day; the sun was shining, birds were singing, kids were playing, and the council of generals, hunters, and heroes was in a meeting. They were talking about the 'Tournament of Heroes'; people from all over the empire would fight each other, and the winner would get a boon from the emperor. From cash to a fight with the emperor himself. Which was fine, because one year, a girl had won, and she made her boon. But it was weird; she wanted the emperor to foster father her.
He agreed, and she became his daughter this year. The councils wanted to stretch out to other countries and villages. The emperor had thought about it and agreed. It was time for the rest of the Elemental Countries to see their might. Especially one village in particular. "Send out the invites," he said. The head of the Hunter's council looked at him. He was a handsome young man, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was dressed in a black, hooded cloak, black pants, boots, gloves, white armor, gauntlets, and shin guards with gold trim.
"Are you sure about this, my liege?" He asked.
"It's time to stop hiding." He said the emperor had short, spiky, reddish-blond hair, blue eyes, and whisker marks on his face. He was dressed in black pants and a hooded robe with gold trim with a gold Uzumaki swirl merged with a black 'circled X' on the back. He sports black and gold 'knuckles' that can extend into claws. He was seated on a golden throne, and behind him were gold and black flags with his seal on them in black on the gold flag and gold on the black flags.
He was seated with his head in his hand. "I also want to put in 100 million Ryo to the winner along with the boon." The others applauded him. "So I want all of you to have your chosen fighters ready for the tournament."
"Yes, my liege!" They said, and with that, the meeting was over.
By the next week, flyers and invitations about the tournament were sent out. Everywhere, east of the empire.
(Konoha)
It had been 5 years after Naruto was banished from the village for hurting the last Uchiha. During that time, everything went to hell. They lost all of their alliances, contracts, and everything. Then Minato and Kushina returned to the village, and Tsunade was not of the happiness. They had left Naruto in a village that hated him, and now they come back like nothing's wrong? "What didn't you know, Hime?" Said Jiraiya, "They wanted the kid to be… AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Tsunade had sent him to the Hokage mountain with a single punch.
"YOU WERE IN ON IT?!" She yelled, then she glared at the Namikazes. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't slaughter you two right now!"
"Uh, we have children?" Said Kushina.
"You think, because you have bastard children, I'm not going to kill you?" She towered over them, "I'd be doing them and Naruto, you remember him? He was your firstborn? Anyway, killing you would do them a favor!" Kushina lowered her head. "I thought my grandmother taught you better than this! But, I guess that was one lesson that didn't stick! 'Family Above All!'!" Kushina started to cry, "But I guess if your child became a jinchuriki, they're not family anymore. That's what should've happened to you."
"Please, Tsunade, I'm sorry." She cried.
"You're Sorry? 1408!" They look at her in confusion, "That's how many assassination attempts Naruto had to deal with! You Gonna Apologize For All Those Attempts? And it was by your and that old 'monkey's precious villagers, Minato! Still think it was a good idea?"
"I don't understand," he said. "He should've been a shinobi by now!"
"He was! But your favorite student had stunted his growth."
"Kakashi wouldn't… train him?"
"NO! Because he was too busy training that damned Uchiha!" She chuckled, "Like teacher, like student." Just then, said ninja had come in; he was in shock; his sensei was alive and back. But he was with that bitch he calls a wife, and she had spawned more demon brats.
"Minato-sensei!" He said, just then, Minato punched him in the face, hard. Kakashi hit the floor, mouth and nose bleeding. "Sensei, why?"
"Why? WHY? You Didn't Train My Son!"
"He Was a Demon!"
"How?" Said Minato, "How was he a demon? Because I put Kyubbi in him? Or was it he was Kushina's son?" Kushina glared at him.
"You didn't need her!" Said Kakashi, who was then kicked in the ribs, breaking 3 of them.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHO TO BE IN LOVE WITH?" He calmed down. "I am done with you. I will never train you ever again; I will not train your precious Uchiha. If either one of you even comes near me, I shall kill you! I already regret training you." Then he looked at Tsunade, "I will accept any punishment you deem necessary, Hokage-sama. On one request."
"What is it?" She said.
"Find me those who hurt him. I'll kill them." Kakashi was now horrified.
"But they were only..."
"SHUT UP!" He said, "You defend them; you are just as bad! But you already are. We'll head to the manor. Which that old bastard wouldn't allow Naruto to live in." Tsunade just glared at Kakashi.
"Get out of my office!" She growled, and Kakashi left. Just then Shizune had come in. "What is it?"
"A message from the West. It's an invitation." She said she handed her the invite.
'To all Eastern countries and villages:
We are inviting you to the 'Tournament of Heroes.'. Some of the greatest warriors from your villages will participate for a boon; it can be for anything. From cash to a fight with the emperor himself. This year, we have decided to give the winner 100 million Ryo.
This is open to anyone in the East. So, get your teams and we wish you good luck.'
Tsunade read the invite and thought about it. "What do you think, Tsunade-sama?" Asked Shizune.
"Call for a meeting; we're going to be taking a trip." She said.
(Two hours later)
The council was wondering what was going on; the elders were mad because Tsunade called the meeting, and everyone was there. Even Minato and Kushina representing their respective clans. The council was all shocked that they were alive. Wondering where they had been, especially Danzo. 'How are they alive?' he thought.
The council was now scared; if they found out what happened to Naruto, they were done. What they didn't know was they already knew. "Why have you called this meeting, Tsunade?" Said Koharu.
"Because I'm the Head Bitch In Charge! That's why!" She said. "Now, as you can see, the Namikazes are back. Took them 18 years, though, and they're wondering where their son is." The council was now gulping and sweating.
"You have to understand Hokage-sama," said a member of the civilian council.
"What? My son died, and a demon took his place? So, after decades of this village having Kyubbi, my son, the first male to ever hold her, and yes, Kyubbi's female, you idiots! Naruto holding Kyubbi was a bad thing because she would possess him? Am I understanding this?" The council didn't say a word. "ANSWER ME!"
"No sir," said one of them.
"If that's the case, why have there been over 1400 assassination attempts? Where Is My Son?" They didn't want to answer, but Danzo had to open his mouth.
"He's been banished! He has to be dead by now!" He said, Kushina glared at him.
"Why? Because He Wouldn't Be Your Puppet?" She said, "And don't try to use your stolen powers against me!" Danzo signaled his Root Anbu into the room. Minato was moving, and all of the Root agents were dead. Danzo charged him, and Minato flashed behind him. Suddenly, Danzo dropped to his knees, and his head fell off. Tsunade glared at the corpse.
"ANBU! Burn the body!" She said, Koharu and Homura shot up. "Sit your 5 RYO asses down before I make change!" Then they did, and she stood up. "The reason why I called this meeting is that the West had invited the East to their annual tournament." She was walking behind the civilian council until she got behind the Haruno clan head. "I'm going to accept; a select group of shinobi will be going. Shinobi of MY choosing."
"Well, I think Uchiha…" She said when Tsunade grabbed her head and smashed it to the table, crushing it.
"Tell them if they want to be in the tournament. Impress me. This meeting's over." With that, Tsunade and the Namikazes left.
