"Wow! That's so cool!"

"I know! The Keyblade is pretty amazing."

Pit's eyes shined in excitement as he watched Sora summon the Keyblade over and over again. He quickly turned to Palutena, who had been watching the two alongside Zelda, Tifa, and a blue-haired woman.

"Lady Palutena, can I have a Keyblade?! Please?!" pleaded the angel child, giving his best puppy dog eyes.

"No, Pit. You already have the Three Sacred Treasures, remember?" replied Palutena in a gentle tone, only to giggle when her little angel pouted.

The blue-haired woman let out a few giggles of her own. "He's so adorable. He reminds me of Sora."

"Aqua…" said Sora with a slight whine of embarrassment, earning another giggle from the Keyblade Master.

"I don't know. Pit always reminded me of a mini-Link," stated Zelda as she poked one of Pit's cheeks, causing him to pout even more.

"And Sora's always been a mini-Cloud," added Tifa as she gently tugged on one of Sora's spikes. "How are you enjoying it here, Sora?"

"It's been great, Tifa! I've met so many heroes from different worlds and even got to meet up with Cloud again!" exclaimed Sora with a grin.

"Glad to hear that, Sora," replied the bar maiden, happy that Sora was doing well and that Cloud now had another person around that he can get along with.

As Sora continued to tell about all of the things he's done since joining Smash, Pit thought back to what Zelda and Tifa said earlier about him and Sora and came to an epiphany.

"Does this mean Sora and I are rivals?" asked the angel child, earning looks of confusion from the others.

"What do you mean, Pit?" questioned Palutena.

"Princess Zelda and Miss Tifa said me and Sora were like mini versions of Link and Cloud and since Link and Cloud are friends and rivals I wondered if that was the same for me and Sora!" explained Pit, bouncing slightly at the thought of having a new friend.

The women couldn't help but giggle at Pit's innocence. Aqua then turned to Sora with a motherly smile. "What do you think, Sora?"

"I don't mind being friends with Pit, although I'm worried that Riku might think I'm replacing him again."

"I'm sure he'll know better, Sora," replied Aqua, with a slight frown.

Pit was bouncing even more now. "This is going to be so cool! We can hang out, spar. Ooh, do you think I can meet some of the other Keyblade wielders? I want to see what their Keyblades look like!"

"We could go try and find Riku. He's probably somewhere training with Terra, so you'll get to meet him, too!"

"Neither of you two are to go near Terra unless I am there to supervise," stated Aqua, her frown becoming more pronounced. She still didn't fully trust Terra after everything he put everyone through because of his actions in the past. He had a LOT to make up for. "Why don't you two run along and find something else to do instead?"

The two children weren't exactly sure why Aqua seemed upset, but didn't argue and did as they were told, running off to find something fun to do. As they did so, they hoped that Aqua would start feeling better soon and if not, they would find a way to help!

FIN

-:-

It NEVER should have taken me this long to finish this fic, but a lot of IRL stuff happened and it really just felt like I gave up. At the time of writing this, though, the Switch 2 Direct will be happening in a few hours and I knew I needed to finally finish the fic, especially in the chance of a possible Smash 6 getting announced. If that happens I'm planning on starting up another Interview fic and hoping I can stick with it.

So yeah, Sora ended up being the last character added to SSBU. I don't think anyone ever thought he'd get in, considering Sakurai had to deal with Disney. For this chapter, it only made sense to have him interact with Pit. Sakurai confirmed a long time ago that Link was the basis for Pit's redesign and Cloud was definitely used partly for Sora's design, what with them having the same hair and Sora even using Cloud's victory animation in the first KH game. Think of Link and Cloud as the Loony Tunes to Pit and Sora's Tiny Toons.
