"Certainly be an awkward conversation at moments... 'Hey, Kori, Komi, where's a good place for us to make a bed shake so we can conceive your little brother?'", Waylon chuckled as he then gave out a yelp of pain when Poppy slugged him hard in the arm.
"Ow... sorry...", Waylon rubbed his arm. "Not in front of Menalippe, Waylon...", Poppy pouted and shook her head. "I apologize, Me-".
"No, don't feel the need to.", Menalippe interrupted her with a small smirk on her face. "Trust me; that's nothing compared to some of the visions I've had. I'm afraid sometimes, and I feel the Fates do it as a joke on me, but sometimes I end up seeing scenes that very much probably should not be viewed by anyone but the couple involved.".
Poppy winced, "Sheesh. Well, there is a holiday in Man's World, called April Fool's Day, where people play jokes and pranks.", and Menalippe blinked in surprise, "That explains quite a bit why that day was more common than not of getting those awkward visions.", before shaking her head slightly, clearing her throat, "Anyhow, that's everything I have spoken about. You are excused from my chambers, Poppy and Waylon, and I wish you good fortune.".
Poppy smiled, "Thank you, Menalippe.", as Waylon nodded, "Yes, thank you.", with a thankful smile, and they politely and respectfully got up and left the chambers, quietly leaving the temple, and exhaled in the fresh air, seeing Hippolyta waiting on the landing far down.
They shared a look, and nodded, and headed down the stairs, and Hippolyta smiled, "So, what's the big news if you are allowed to tell?", and Waylon replied, "Actually, we were hoping to tell the family all at once, and we don't want the Amazons to overhear.".
Hippolyta blinked in surprise before nodding, "Very well. Let's walk to the palace, and on the way, I will get some Amazons to inform the others wherever they are in their plans today.", and so, she did, as they arrived at the palace.
Within an hour, the family gathered around in the private sitting room of the royal family wings, and Sean replied, "What's the big news you're-", and Daphne finished, "Telling us, Mom and Dad?", in typical twin fashion.
Waylon and Poppy squeezed hands, as Poppy smiled, "I and your father decided to try again to have a child, one last child, and I've seen Epione who declared me as cleansed of the pill and completely able to bear safely and healthy with no signs of issues as all that time has healed me which you all know that I was terrified about, next to childbirth.", having happy tears again as she was remembering the moment she was hugging Waylon after getting the wonderful news.
"Really?", Sean was a bit surprised to hear while Daphne had a smile on her face, excited at the prospect of another sibling.
"Yeah; thought it's not as straight forward as it would be, considering...", Waylon bit his lip as he was trying to figure out how to best say it.
Dick replied, "What is it, Pops?", and Waylon exhaled, glancing at Poppy, seeing all their children surprised yet happy and excited for them, knowing that Poppy had been terrified of losing children from either an unhealthy womb, or in childbirth through miscarriage again.
Waylon replied, "We're giving someone a second chance to live again...and it's Ryan who wants us...", glancing at Kori and Komi respectively by their soulmates in Carrie and Dick.
"You're joking...", Komi whispered as Poppy shook her head, "Not in the slightest. He does want to return and would very much like to be with his sisters again. That's what Menalippe explained to us."
Kori sobbed with tears, "We're technically sisters-in-laws, thanks to being soulmates and fiancées with Carrie and Dick, but we're still going to be sisters still! Oh, Komi, he wouldn't have to suffer those estranged parents of ours moaning and complaining ever again!".
Komi nodded, "So, I presumed he found out about you two wanting to try again, and out of all the choices in this family, he chose you two which is actually the closest accurate...Oh, this is actually happening...", with a sob of joy as Dick kissed her on the temple.
Everyone else was stunned and happy for the sisters and their parents to be chosen to be new parents for Ryan, and Hippolyta asked, "How will he find you two?", and Waylon explained, "Menalippe marked us through Hera, so we can be found in the darkness tonight...Now, this is the awkward part...To work together with Hera's magic and Hades' blessing, we'd need a private and magical place deep on the island, out of the city.", now looking sheepish with a blush as Poppy blushed as well.
Kori and Komi widened their eyes as they blushed, and looked at each other, sharing a silent conversation with gestures and such for a few minutes before they smiled, nodding, and Kori replied, "We have a place in mind...but the sun's not to fall yet for a hour and a half, and the place is a bit distant from the city by at least 30 minutes of horseback riding.".
Poppy smiled, "Thank you...And we were thinking of having supper with all of you first before we get going, if that's alright?", and Jason smiled, "Mom, you don't have to ask.", as Diana asked curiously, "How is the pregnancy going to be if I'm not rude to ask?".
The couple went to explain, with all kinds of conversation soon as supper was getting prepared and presented into the dining table over the next couple of hours and orders of prepping the horses for the trip.
With wishes and hugs, the couple left with Komi and Kori's guidance, taking them to a beautiful, private, and small place of a forest cove, and so with a cozy, secure firepit, they thanked the girls who left, and through the next few hours of tender, passionate foreplay and lovemaking, under the stars and the music of crickets and flames crackling and water lapping, with the glow of golden and neon green marks in Poppy and Waylon, the soul of Ryand'r came into fruition at conception upon finding them.
Poppy cozied up to Waylon in their blankets, "I feel something happening...I know it isn't possible to sense with human levels, but my gamma genes are telling me that I'm actually becoming pregnant...".
"Wonder what's that like...", Waylon admitted as Poppy chuckled. "I suppose it's probably different considering you're a male with gamma genes pumping through you. Plus, you weren't born with them as opposed to me.", Poppy whispered as she gently ran a finger on his chest.
Waylon smiled as he ran a hand through her hair gently, "Good point...Still, with the extra energy to boost the pregnancy, I really hope you get gorgeously large as I know you'd want to be really sure and protective of our little guy...".
Poppy smirked, "Oh, now you're advancing into an apology in case I get fat, hmm?", and Waylon chuckled, "Did it work?", and Poppy giggled, "You're very lucky that I love you, Wally, and that I really don't want to put Ryan in risk if I was skinny and unknowing again..", kissing him on the cheek.
"I don't blame you there, my love, as I want Ryan to be safe and healthy through this too...Komi and Kori were right...We'd be way better parents than those bigots, that's for sure...", Waylon replied.
"We've proven it.", Poppy said. "Yes...". She glanced away, "We made one mistake, but we mourned for them. If we were like their parents, we'd probably be dismissing them thinking they were just too weak to survive.".
Waylon kissed her on the temple, "Hey...Everything is going to be alright, you'll see, Poppy. And don't think like that, we were so damn lucky that I got a great mama, and you were raised wonderfully.", referring to Caroline, and Martha and Kel, with latter parts by Alfred and Thomas.
"You're right...You're right as always...", Poppy smiled before she rolled over, smirking as she straddled her husband, "I know we are definitely sure with Ryan, but doesn't hurt if we do a bit more lovemaking, hmm? I missed your hybrid side between full human and full Croc, can you please make me scream to the heavens?".
Waylon grinned, "I'd never thought you could ask.", kissing his wife on the lips passionately as he obeyed her request, and so they enjoyed a bit more lovemaking before they fell asleep in each other's arms with the flickering campfire.
They began to believe in Hera's magic a couple of days later as Poppy became hungrier and hormonal, and the rest of the family was happy, believing in Hera, next to their God, which Hera couldn't blame them for, since the world has different beliefs, different religions, and different gods who are allies, friends, or such.
Yet to their shock and surprise at the end of their deadline of staying upon Hera's terms, the family was welcomed with a huge surprise, for there came a sudden earthquake and storm the final night before they had to leave in the day, as it was that strong to be through the shield over Themyscira, even that far from Greece.
Poppy groaned, having thrown up in a pail, and she replied, "Oh, please tell me that it's over! I can't take much more of this...", as it was a mix of morning sickness and motion sickness, as they were in the storm cellar with the rest of the family.
Hippolyta replied, "I cannot order the gods to stop...It must be either Mount Olympus celebrating for the popularity of bringing new genes to the Amazons or Poseidon partying with his people down below, but I think it's slowing down, Poppy. I apologize as this isn't usual, I promise.".
Diana replied, "Perhaps they are trying to agree about a gift, as parties comes with gifts.", and Tim blinked, "I get that it's joy for the chance of Themyscira gaining allies in us and having soulmates and all but could they do it subtly at least next time?", with a sigh.
"I can only try to suggest the idea next time, Timothy, but it will be over soon for your mother's sake.", Hippolyta nodded before Artemis returned not two minutes later, "Queen Hippolyta, the storm and earthquake's over, but you must see this!", with a shocked, excited smile on her face.
"Judging from that look, it seems like it's good at least.", Waylon said. "Either that or it's a new foe she's excited to fight.", Jason teased but certainly hoped that wasn't going to be the case as last thing he wanted was a fight that could risk her life considering despite her sharpness and experience, she wasn't invincible.
Everyone quickly followed her as very much curiosity was at the forefront of their minds. Artemis led them all to one of the towers in the city, and everyone gasped in shock and surprise as the sun is rising, not on the sea, but on a whole new island, as Artemis pointed in the right direction.
Dick replied, "Oh, wow...If I wasn't mistaken, that...that looks like a mix of Themyscira, Tamaran, and the Wayne grounds from home...", seeing several unique pink and purple blossom trees, and the lush green fields that Komi and Kori described so often about the Tamaran landscape.
"Certainly Tamaran...", Komi whispered as Kori started to tear up, "Komi, it looks like home almost... completely like home...".
"I... I never knew Hera to be this... gifting...", Hippolyta admitted; surprised for sure at the new land formation that could be seen.
Diana hugged her mother, "Oh, Mother...I think some good family helped her out too, as Poseidon must have worked on pulling this island up. And this...We can visit our soulmates without you, or the other Amazons being overwhelmed with memories when man touches land here, and we can head back home instantly on the end of the day or weekend.", with an overjoyed smile.
Tessa replied, "It's really beautiful! Papa, you can be yourself there without worrying about anybody.", with a grin. Damien chuckled, "I can, indeed...", as he was stunned yet overjoyed as he had to be careful in and out of the manor if his panther needed to be prowling besides patrols, but this, he can literally protect his new family and all.
Alexa said, "Wow, so these are pines and elms and oaks?", glancing at Tim with awe and amazement as she has been learning of America from shipwrecked books and Tim's stories. Tim smiled, "Yep, sure looks like it, and I bet when we get close up, the smells of home will be there too...", with a nostalgic joy.
Artemis looked at Hippolyta, "Shall we prepare some chariots and the Pegasi, my queen?", and Hippolyta replied, "Yes, go tell some of the Amazons to come along. We cannot afford to bring all of our sisters, even with Themyscira able to be seen if the distance is the same as here to there, but we will see to have them have turns to visit and explore, as I can see that the sister island is shielded by magic as well, touching our shield, like being friends with Themyscira itself.".
"Certainly sounds like a decent work around. You can come visit us, we'll stay away to not cause too much trouble for you and your sisters.", Waylon explained. "The guys and myself, I'm sure Poppy and the girls of this family certainly are allowed more privileges.".
Hippolyta smiled, "Believe me, Waylon, you and your sons have been respectful guests but yes, it might be for the best for things to work out this way... for several millenniums, we have become pretty ridged in laws and traditions that I doubt we'll ever truly change.".
"It's for your own protection, we know.", Waylon gave a small nod. "You went as far to let us be guests, we couldn't ask for more there.".
Hippolyta nodded, "And I'm appreciative that you and your sons have been understanding and open-minded to all of this, and I don't doubt that the rest of the extended family is the same.".
Everyone else agreed, and soon, a flock of chariots and Pegasi flew from the city, with the rest of the Amazons waving and wishing them luck, feeling the familiar whoosh of magic as they exited Themyscira's shield, and a minute later, entered the new island's shield, and to their joy, they can see Themyscira clearly, showing that only the extended family of the royal family can see the Amazons' home, like they can see the new island, but the outside world, Man's World cannot see either Themyscira or the new island, presuming that the area is affected by open sea and storms, like it has been for millennia.
They flew over the new island, seeing several prey and predators they can hunt and fight against, beautiful beaches and coves, lush and deep forests and mountains, flowing and thunderous rivers and waterfalls, and clear, clean ponds and such, realizing that island is practically fraternal for it's the same size and shape like Themyscira, yet different in the landscape and flora and fauna, and soon, architecture as they then found an empty yet beautiful community homestead nestled in a valley nook, as Jason commented, "Hey, that's the Wayne Greek house from Argos, and that's Uncle Alfred and Aunt Caroline's cottage, but like in Greek style, and those houses look like it's taken off Wayne Manor, and made into Greek houses yet modern!".
"The Gods really were providing a gift...", Dick admitted. "It must be mostly from Hera for Kori and Komi.", Tim suggested. "This place has the feel of a new world in someways to make up for the loss of their home world and people. Considering there might be new Tamarians soon...".
Komi smiled, "We don't blame Hera for not bringing Tamarian architecture as Tamaran was too far away and all, even with our descriptions or the book of Tamaran, but we can still add accents and architecture to make it a bit more Tamarian with all your help and the sisters from Themyscira.", with tears, smiling at Kori.
Carrie held hands with Kori who sniffled happily, "Yeah...", and Carrie kissed her on the cheek, "We will happily help out, Kori, you can bet on that...", as they strolled around on the homestead, having left the Pegasi parked with the chariots.
"Poppy!", a happy cry was heard as the front door of the island Wayne Greek house opened, sprinting out is Kel, with the rest of the extended family following behind in a spill into the open porch, and the Amazons tensed up, but relaxed in surprise and wonder as Poppy cried out, "Mama!", hugging Kel, with Thomas and Martha right behind with Stormi on Thomas's shoulders.
Kel smiled happily, "Is this a dream?!", as she hugged Poppy who replied, "No, Mama, it isn't a dream, and Mama, please, not so tight! I'm having a baby!", barely hearing Waylon reunite with Caroline and Alfred and Jane, with the others reuniting with the respective families, though she knew Bruce and Selina, and Damien's twin sisters in Cassie and Kate, would be stunned by Damien's new appearance.
"You what?!", Martha shouted in shock and surprise as Poppy blushed. "It's a long story, we'll be honest...", Waylon chuckled as he knew there would be so many questions that needed to be answered, but luckily, they got all the time in the world, no need to hurry now.
