Chapter 8 Welcome to Jurassic Park
Sean was in a chair relaxing in Wakanda again now at the age of 15 years of age.
It's been two years since the incident on Elementia.
Now things there had changed drastically with SHIELD around.
First would be some of the very best there joining SHIELD operations and bringing about unexpected change that helped bring better peace than ever.
Even Itachi had Joined SHIELD now one of the top elite agents and a member of the Crysis unit but without the armor.
For the last 2 years SHIELD had been finding world after world becoming part of the Republic till they found the Nova corp who joined freely believing in unity which gave them access to other worlds as well.
Right now Sean was in Wakanda taking another break asleep.
Thats when Okoye walked in seeing him asleep making her snort before seeing a glass of water before smirking as she reached for it.
"You do it you die." Sean said making her giggle seeing him awake.
"Amazing. You can be dead asleep and still know." Okoye said.
"Helps when you got a high M count." Sean said stretching.
"What are you even doing back here so soon?" Okoye asked as W'Kabi walked in.
"Ah, After that whole Techno Union thing my dad gave me and the original team the rest of the month off after being in a week long skirmish with their droids. Good news is like the Trade federation they are now under SHIELD's jurisdiction." Sean said.
After the whole invasion of Naboo the Trade federation was placed in SHIELD's responsibility and was doing even better than ever since they didn't act on greed or anything like Gunray did.
And others like it were being placed in the same position to make sure they couldn't cause trouble.
"Honestly I'm surprised SHIELD doesn't have higher positions if they get results like this." W'Kabi said.
"Ah." Sean said standing up and left.
Walking outside the palace he smirked.
"You look exhausted." T'Chaka said walking to him.
"Price of my job. But one day there won't be a need for people like me as much. When that happens I plan to retire." Sean said.
"That I look forward to" Shuri said walking to him making him grin looking at her.
Suddenly an alert came up about an aircraft parking outside the city.
"Now who could be here?" T'Chaka asked as they left.
Arriving outside they found a man older than T'Chaka was seen.
"And you would be?" T'Chaka asked.
"John Hammond. I'm the CEO of INGEN." Hammond said shaking his hand.
"The Bio engineering company?" Sean asked raising an eyebrow.
"The very same." John said.
"What would someone like you be doing here?" Shuri asked.
"You mean at the most advanced city on Earth?" Hammond asked shocking them making him laugh. "Calm yourselves. It's really not that difficult to see. After all while most accept the Third world country story I on the other hand see the real truth. But I didn't come to talk about your great achievements. Rather...I'd like you to see something first hand." Hammond said.
"Oh?" T'Chaka asked.
"You see I own an island that I've been preparing for many years now. Building an amusement park thats never been seen before. But I've hit something of a snag. My Investors Lawyer recommends outside opinions. Which is why...I'd like for you to come and see." John said.
"Why would they care about our opinion?" Shuri asked.
"What kind of park is this?" Sean asked curious.
"One thats unique which my young friend is your speciality." Hammond said.
"You're certainly catching my attention mr. Hammond. But I'm curious. Why exactly do you think it would rival Wakanda's secret achievements?" T'Chaka asked.
"Thats for you to see." Hammond said making him smile.
"Well?" T'Chaka asked Sean who smirked.
"Welp, I always say I like to see new places. Why not." Sean said.
Later
A helicopter was heading to this island Hammond owned.
Sean, T'Challa, T'Chaka, Shuri, Ramonda, Okoye and W'Kabi were also on with some other people.
"So, what brings SHIELD's top agent here?" Doctor Grant asked making him scoff.
"A vacation. With all the work I got I need one every now and then." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Why are you here?" T'Challa asked.
"These two are Paleontologist and Botanist. And A Chaos theorist." Sean said knowing them.
"Theorist?" Malcolm asked chuckling making Shuri giggle.
"He doesn't believe in all that chaos theory lecture you say. He has a simpler saying." T'Chaka said.
"And whats that?" Satller asked.
"Shit happens." Sean said making T'Challa laugh as did his sister. "Not everything can be predicted in life. Some things just happen for a reason or no reason. Theres not a design to absolutely everything in life." Sean said.
"How very true." Hammond said before looking out. "There it is." Hammon said as they approached the island.
"Nice." Sean said before they began to land and shook a bit making them buckle up.
Grant on the other hand though.
"Oh boy." Sean said making Shuri giggle as he just tied them together making satller laugher before they landed.
Shuri was the first to get out stretching.
"I'll prefer our aircraft thank you very much." Shuri said making Sean snort before seeing some jeeps arrive with blank logos.
"Odd." Okoye said.
"Whats with the blanks?" Sean asked.
"Oh that would spoil the surprise." Hammond said making them more and more curious as they got in before driving off.
"What do you think he's so excited about?" W'Kabi asked.
"No idea. But it has to be something big or he wouldn't be so excited now would he?" Sean asked making Shuri smile.
As they were driving they came to a sudden stop.
"Why are we stopping?" T'Challa asked as Sean looked around before widening his eyes.
"I'm not really seeing what makes this island so special." Ramonda said.
"Oh but I do." Sean said making them look before they stood up slowly.
"My god." T'Chaka said in awe.
In front of them was a real living breathing dinosaur walking on four legs approaching a tree.
"You have got to be kidding me." Shuri said as they got out with Grant walking to it.
"It's...It's a Dinosaur." Grant said.
"Uh-Huh." Elle said in awe making Hammond laugh as he approached them.
"He did it. You crazy son of a bitch you did it." Malcom said as T'Chaka and his wife got out.
"Oh this is gonna tear up the book on cold-bloodedness. It doesn't apply. They're totally wrong. This is a warm-blooded creature." Grant said.
"This thing doesn't live in a swamp." Elle said.
"It has a what? 25, 27 foot neck?" Grant asked.
"Brachiosaurus, 30." Hammond said.
"30?" Grant asked laughing before it bellowed before standing on two feet to reach the top to eat before landing back on all fours.
"My god." Okoye said as W'Kabi started laughing.
"How fast are they?" Grant asked.
"Well, we clocked the T-rex at 32 miles per hour." Hammond said shocking them.
"You have a T-Rex?" Elle asked.
"Uh huh." Hammond said before Grant placed his hands on his shoulder.
"Say again?" Grant asked making him laugh.
"We have a T-Rex." Hammond said making him weak in the knees.
"Easy old man. You're gonna faint or something." Shuri said.
"Ah my young friends. Welcome...to Jurassic Park." Hammond said. (I love that line so much)
More bellowing was heard making them look before seeing a whole herd of Dinosaurs of various species.
"They're moving in herds. They really do move in herds." Grant said.
"Jesus Christ." Sean said.
"How did you do this?" Grant asked.
"I'll show you." Hammond said.
Later
Arriving at a visitor center they got out before walking inside.
"Now I see why you wanted our opinion mr. Hammond." Ramonda said.
"Oh yes. The most advanced amusement park in the entire universe. Incorporating all the latest technology. And I'm not talking about just rides. Everybody has rides. No we've created biological attractions so astounding...They'll capture the attention of both galaxies." Hammond said.
"What does that mean for us?" Ellie asked.
"We're out of a job." Grant said.
"Don't you mean extinct?" Malcom asked making others laughed.
Arriving in some room they all took a seat.
"What I don't understand is how he did this." Shuri said.
"What do you mean?" T'Challa asked.
"To make them they'd need the full DNA map for it. But because any DNA we find is so old there are gabs in their DNA. So how did he do it?" Shuri asked before some presentation about them using Frog DNA to fill in said gaps appeared.
"Aaah. That makes sense. Replace the gaps with something they know." Sean said as they started moving.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Shuri asked.
"Excuse me?" Grant asked.
"Nothing. Just thoughts in my head." Shuri said remembering they didn't know about the true Wakanda.
Thats when they appeared at the labs.
"Wait a second. How do you stop this thing?" Grant asked as Sean, T'Challa and W'Kaba pushed the rails forward.
"The young never rest." T'Chaka said making Hamond chuckle as they left.
Arriving in the labs they saw the work being done.
"Are those Ostrich eggs?" T'Challa asked seeing them being turned over.
"It's turning them over to equally heat them." Sean said seeing one moving.
"Oh perfect timing." Doctor Wu said as Sean took it before it slowly hatched revealing a small infant dinosaur in hand before it looked at him and cooed making him smile.
"Seems to like you." Hammond said smiling.
"A lot of animals do." W'Kabi said.
"How do you manage to get the eggs from the mothers?" Shuri asked.
"There are no mothers. Or at least technically there is no matting here. All the animals are female. It's easy to control using Republic technology to keep them all female in the embryo state." Wu said.
"Is that so?" T'Challa asked.
"It's actually not that difficult." Sean said.
"With all due respect the kind of control you're trying to establish is impossible since life is not bound by rules. Life breaks free. Life finds a way." Malcom said making them chuckle.
"How very true." T'Chaka said as the infant rubbed against Sean making him smile.
"What is this anyway?" Sean asked.
"It's a velociraptor." Wu said alarming Grant.
"You bred raptors?" Grant asked.
Later
A loud screeching sound was heard outside a pen.
"What are they doing?" Okoye asked seeing them load a cow up.
"Oh no." Sean said as it was lowered done as they went up top before it closed as something rushed into killing it shocking them.
"Oh Bast." Shuri said making a cross on her chest.
"Well, Raptors are said to be the most vicious and intelligent reptiles." Sean said leaning against the railing with the little one on his shoulder.
"Which is part of the reason I asked for you here. You see these animals in particular have caused some problems." Hammond said.
"Let me guess. A death or two?" Grant asked.
"Sadly one of my workers has been killed." Hammond said.
"Hmmm. Well, there is a lower ranked garrison in SHIELD that could keep things under control." Sean said.
"Why not just have them in a larger field?" Ramonda asked.
"We tried that but they almost escaped. And the big one in there...Killed all but two of the others." Hammond said making Sean look seeing the largest looking at him.
"My brother is good with animals. Maybe he can help out." Sean said.
"I do appreciate that." Hammond said.
Later
Sean grinned as he held a spy named Dennis by the neck in the air as he shuddered in fear.
"If theres one thing he hates is a spy that does this for the wrong reasons." Okoye said making Shuri giggle.
"I'm going to enjoy getting you to talk after trying to ruin this place." Sean said with his hand turning into a drill making him scream in fear.
"Sean." Shuri said making him stop. "Might I suggest the other approach." Shuri said.
"You take the fun out of this." Sean said making her grin as his visor glowed scanning his mind making him groan in pain. "Biosyn?" Sean said.
"Isn't that a company thats rivaled with you?" W'Kabi asked.
"Sadly yes. And this isn't the first time they pulled something like this. But this time I have proof. Isn't that right Denis?" Hammond asked making him whimper.
Later
"An amusement park of dinosaurs? Really?" Fury asked amused.
"Hey, it was pretty impressive. Though I gotta admit that they need better security since Biosyn tried to screw them over. Which is where we can come in. And besides if Turok can turn those raptors into assets all the better." Sean said.
"I'll admit thats a good point." Fury said.
"And think of it this way. If they're able to do that they could also help bring back other lost species. What about that new planet we discovered last month. The one similar to prehistoric earth." Sean said.
"Oh yeah. Well, theres no animals on it so it could do." Fury said.
Later
Sean arrived in the training room before seeing Korra hitting the punching bag. Korra had gained some serious muscle since she started training here.
In the last 2 years she had come far since she started here.
Though the trauma had made her less trusting of people right away. It took her weeks before she could fully trust someone again because of what Tenzin had caused.
Even to this day she still had some slight trauma from that time the White Lotus kidnapped her and tried to bend her mind.
After the whole event was over Tenzin was put back on the council but his authority was limited because of what happened.
He and his wife got past it with some therapy but she always made sure to her foot down when it came to decisions.
"Hey Korra." Sean said making her smile at him.
"So the Dino boy shows up." Korra said making him smirk.
"Word travels fast huh?" Sean asked.
"Oh yeah. Speaking of which where the little one you brought?" Korra asked.
"With my brother in his little pen area. It's amazing how well he can control animals and train any of them. The Rancors were proof enough." Sean said before he spotted another girl who had just as large muscles on her but had a gothic look as she lifted
She had brown hair in a single bun with brown eyes. She had medium but still developing breasts and a large bubble butt and pierced ears and a skull hair ornament.
She also had on large breast plates that were metal with spiked shoulder pads with arm bands on each bicep with spiked elbow pads and spiked black leather gloves. Wearing a black leather mini skirt with spikes and skulls on the front and sides while having her navel pierced and a cross tattoo below her navel.
Wearing leg bands on those biceps and spiked knee guards and spiked leather boots. (look up Punk Jinora on my DA account Dragonlord012)
"Wait a second...Jinora?" Sean asked making her face him showing her air bending tattoo on her forehead making her grin.
"Hey guys." Jinora said.
"Whoa. What the hell happened to you?" Korra asked laughing making her grin.
"Yeah last time we saw ya you were this gentle bookworm who couldn't hurt a fly." Sean said making her grin.
"Well, After the whole incident with the White Lotus and my Dad I decided to stop being his little girl who I never really actually was and just be me." Jinora said flexing a bicep.
"Damn." Korra said.
"What do you mean wasn't the real you?" Sean asked curious.
"I only acted that way to make him happy. But after everything came to light? I couldn't be that person anymore and decided to just be me." Jinora said.
"Oh yeah? Does he even know your here?" Korra asked.
"No but Mom does. I know it won't be long till he comes looking for me." Jinora said.
"Well, he can't just force you to come back since he's still under watchful eyes." Sean said
"I know. But I know that headache will show up eventually." Jinora said grinning making them chuckle.
Later
T'Chaka was about to sign some contract to help give endorsement for the park when he read it clearly.
"Mr. Hammond...Do you take me for a fool?" T'Chaka asked confusing him.
"I beg your pardon?" Hammond asked as Sean read it.
"This makes it so you can take resources out of Wakanda." Sean said shocking him.
"What!" Hammond asked snatching it reading it over before sighing. "Peter." Hammond said.
"Who's Peter?" Shuri asked.
"My nephew. I should have known he was gonna pull this." Hammond said.
"He knows?" T'Challa asked.
"No. He only knows what everyone does that Wakanda had Vibranium. He must suspect you actually have much more and he wants to get it." Hammond said disappointed in his own family.
Later
Ludlow grunted as Sean pushed him into a wall.
"You got some fucking nerve." Sean said making him scoff.
"Leave it to a murderer to protect liars." Ludlow said making him glare before his armor appeared.
"Peter this is over the line. This is not the contract I wanted to use." Hammond said.
"Your short sighted uncle. I know they have more. And clearly they're hoarding it for themselves." Ludlow said.
"And I wonder what I'll find when I investigate your activities. I'm sure I'll find some breaches in contracts." Sean said making him widen his eyes lightly.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Ludlow said.
"Your pulse says otherwise. I'm going to bury you with your secrets brought to light." Sean said said making him shudder.
"Our contract will be as it truly was meant to be. No strings attached...And you are bared from it. And if somehow I lose control of the Park...It will be transferred to them." Hammond said.
"You can't do that!" Ludlow said angered.
"I can. And I will." Hammond said as Sean let go.
"One day your own actions will come back to haunt you. I promise that." Sean said as they left making him look in fear knowing he had just made his life troubling with his actions.
