Baker Morty was sitting at his desk typing and munching on a ham and cheese sandwich that he brought for lunch. It was two days after the wedding and he wondered if Cash Morty and Rosie were enjoying their honeymoon. He didn't want to think too much about what they were getting up to but he hoped they were enjoying their vacation. He'd certainly like to take one. Maybe kick his feet up at the beach. Or rent a nice scenic cabin in the mountains. Stay at a resort. Either way it sounded nice and relaxing. He opened his bag of sour cream and onion Sol chips and ate some of them.

"Could you make any more noise crunching those chips" Floor Manager Morty joked.

"Mhm, I-I could make tons more noise" Baker Morty responded.

"How's your girlfriend doing?" Floor Manager Morty smirked.

"S-she's doing great, you're just mad because I have one and you don't" Baker Morty teased him.

"Whatever, I am perfectly happy without a girlfriend" Floor Manager Morty said.

"I-I'm actually going to see her after work" Baker Morty said.

"Better use protection buddy, you don't want to be a father already do you?" Floor Manager Morty laughed.

"Hey! T-that's not what we are going to do, she's going to show me her chocolate shop" Baker Morty responded quickly.

"Uh huh, she's going to show you other things too" Floor Manager Morty did the eyebrow bounce.

"Shut up, w-we are not going to be doing anything of the sort" Baker Morty smacked Floor Manager Morty's arm with the back of his hand.

He went back to typing on his computer. But it was hard to focus on work when he was so excited about seeing Aeliana. Maybe things were finally coming together. Maybe he met his wife. He knew it was early to be thinking about potentially marrying Aeliana. But he was a firm believer in treating every date as a potential mate. He hoped it ended in marriage unless she showed some red flags or something. They seemed to have pretty similar goals. But of course he'd have to get to know her some more before he formulates an opinion on her. Suddenly he felt Floor Manager Morty tapping him.

"Do some work lover boy" Floor Manager Morty jested.

Baker Morty gave a half snort half laugh before focusing once more on his work. He didn't type for long before his mind began to wander again. Maybe he'd make some baked goods for her to try. No he'd save that for another time, it could be a really fun date, they would bake together. He forced himself to focus on the task at hand. He was entering the numbers of inventory he had collected on his visual inspection into the system and comparing it to what the automated system said their numbers were. So far everything matched.

Even though it was no longer his job he went to the window overlooking the production floor to stretch his back. He smiled in satisfaction. The Ricks were working as they should. Ever since Cash Morty and Floor Manager Morty promised to be nicer to the Ricks they have been very productive and there have been no issues with slacking off or being disrespectful. They even respected him more. He told them kindness would go a lot further than being a jerk. Maybe he could show Aeliana his job. Since the factory was producing chocolate balls, maybe she'd be interested.

"Is what the Ricks are doing that interesting or are you thinking about kissing your boo boo again?" Floor Manager Morty gave him a sly smile.

"I-I was thinking about showing her around the factory" Baker Morty said.

"You sure think about her a lot, uh oh, you aren't smitten already are you?" Floor Manager Morty laughed.

"Hehe, n-no I'm just excited, I-I've never been in a relationship before, not a real one anyways" Baker Morty said as he went back to his desk.

"You've been in a fake relationship before?" Floor Manager Morty raised a brow.

"Uh, y-yea, back in my home dimension there was this girl named Abigail, she liked me, b-but I didn't like her like that, or at least I wasn't sure if I liked her like that, but I-I didn't want to hurt her feelings so I pretended to like her and we were sort of dating but not really" Baker Morty explained.

"Why didn't you like her? Was she mean?" Floor Manager Morty asked. Baker Morty tipped his head back thoughtfully.

"Hmm, t-the more I've thought about it the more I've discovered that i-it never had anything to do with her, don't get me wrong she was a very sweet person and she loved to bake just like me, I-I was just so insecure that I didn't believe it was real, I-I thought there was no way a girl genuinely liked me, the school loser, i-if I had chilled out and gotten over myself then I probably would have liked her back, b-but I just couldn't" Baker Morty said.

"I-I also didn't want her to be around my chaotic family" Baker Morty said.

"Oh, I get it, in most dimensions we Morties tend to be the loser that everyone laughs at, that's definitely the way it was with me back when I worked under CEO Rick, I was just Manager Morty then, and trust me none of the people I managed respected me at first, and believe it or not it took me a while to grow a backbone and put them in their place, but man the first time I finally snapped and really ripped into them for their disrespect it was the best feeling in the world, and they never crossed me again" Floor Manager Morty said.

"So, I-I have a question and I hope it doesn't offend you, for the Morty clones like you who were bred to serve Ricks, i-is there an inherent desire to serve Ricks, since that's what you were bred for?" Baker Morty asked.

"That's a good question, desire to serve a Rick? No not really, sure we tend to seek their approval when we work under them, but if for whatever reason we no longer work under our Ricks, it's not like we just have a burning desire to serve a Rick, it's more like a desire to do the job that we were bred for, for instance, I was bred to help CEO Rick manage his company, so management is my specialty, it's what I love to do and it's what I'm good at, I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else" Floor Manager Morty explained.

"That makes since, m-much like dogs bred for hunting love to hunt, a-and dogs bred for herding love to herd, it's what brings them fulfilment" Baker Morty said.

"Yep exactly" Floor Manager Morty nodded.

They both returned to their work, only the sound of them clicking and typing was heard in the office. Throughout the workday Baker Morty had to keep reminding himself to focus on his job. His mind kept wandering to Aeliana and how excited he was to see her later. Finally his workday came to an end. He said his goodbyes to Floor Manager Morty then he headed home. He took off his formal work clothes and changed into a blue polo shirt and blue jeans with a dark brown leather belt. It was nice but not too dressy.

He used his portal gun to travel to Kawaiitopia, he hesitated for a moment. It had been quite a long time since he and Cash Morty came here to check on his factory that was here. What if it was mating season again? What if all the Kawaiitopians were acting crazy again? He just thought about the possibility that Aeliana could act that way too. What would he do if she was suddenly obsessed with him? He cautiously exited the portal, the nearby Kawaiitopians just gave him a curious glance. Good, it must not be mating season. He tucked his portal gun into his belt, then he checked the little piece of paper she had given him that had the location of her little chocolate shop.

He was walking down a brightly colored city with towering stained glass buildings. They came in many shapes and sizes. The city was bustling with Kawaiitopians. For the first time ever he saw male Kawaiitopians. If there were male Kawaiitopians he wondered why Morties were preferable mates to female Kawaiitopians. There appeared to be some kind of street fair going on. There were vendors all over the place selling various things. He walked a couple more blocks until he saw a shop with a white and orange awning above the windows and door of the shop. A neon orange sign said Chocolove. He entered the shop, a bell dinged to announce his arrival.

"Just a moment!" he heard from the back.

He looked around the small shop. It had orange and white tile floors, with fox paw prints on each white tile, the walls were orange with white trim, there were little orange candy coat colored booths with small brown tables. In front of him was a display case with assorted chocolates in it. Behind the display case was an orange commercial door with a small orange window in the middle of it, he assumed that led to the kitchen area. The door swung open and out walked Aeliana.

"Oh, Baker Morty hey!" she ran over and gave him a hug, her tail was wagging enthusiastically. She looked really nice, she was wearing an orange sun dress with an apron over it. Her red hair was pulled into a ponytail with an orange bow on the top of it. She smelled like oranges. He guessed orange was her favorite color, scent, and flavor.

"H-hey, you look nice today" he said.

"Thank you! You look nice as well" she smiled.

"Well, ready to see this girl in her element?" she asked.

"Y-yes, I've always wondered how chocolate is made" Baker Morty said.

"Well wonder no more, come on!" Aeliana grabbed his hand and pulled him back to the kitchen. His cheeks burned as he blushed at her soft slightly furry hand holding his.

"Alright, I've already gathered the ingredients we'll need, three fourths cup of cocoa butter, three fourths cup of cocoa powder, one fourths cup of milk powder and a cup of confectioner's sugar" she said.

"First were going to melt the cocoa butter in the double boiler, we don't want to put it directly on the heat as it burns really quickly" Aeliana said as she dumped the cocoa butter into the double boiler.

"Now, I'm going to stir it constantly so it melts quicker" she stirred the cocoa butter until it melted.

"Next I'm going to add the cocoa powder, it's more time consuming but I like to use a sieve to get rid of any clumping, once I have my cocoa powder in the cacao butter, I use a whisk to mix it in until it is fully incorporated" Aeliana said.

"Next, I whisk in my milk powder and confectioner's sugar, you're most likely wondering why I don't use regular milk, regular milk will make your chocolate thin and runny and it won't set right, so now that all my ingredients are in, I'm going to remove it from the heat and stir it until it thickens" she said as she removed the bowl from the heat and whisked her chocolate.

"Ok, now that my chocolate is nice and thick I'm going to put it into pretty molds" she grabbed some heart and star shaped molds and poured the chocolate into the molds. She banged the molds on the counter to get rid of any bubbles.

"Now, I'm going to put them in the refrigerator so they can harden, and that's how you make chocolate, it's super easy!" she said.

"Wow, t-that was really cool" Baker Morty said.

"Oh I know, it's so fun, I sincerely hope that people will one day come from all over the galaxy to enjoy my chocolate, I hope they see my passion for chocolate making when they eat my chocolate" Aeliana said. Her beautiful brown eyes sparkled with joy.

"I-I feel the same way about baking, I-I want my great love for baking to be prevalent in my desserts" Baker Morty said.

"Now you're going to have to show me how you bake" she looked up at him through her long pretty eyelashes. He felt flutters in his stomach.

"Y-yea, I-I would love to" Baker Morty found it hard to look directly at her.

"So, where are you from?" Aeliana asked.

"Well, I-I am originally from Earth in the Caeruleus Camisa dimension, w-which literally means blue shirt dimension in Latin, i-it's rather corny considering I wear a blue shirt instead of a yellow one, however I currently live on the Citadel, w-which is a place inhabited entirely by Ricks and Morties" Baker Morty said.

"Ricks?" she was clearly confused.

"They a-are tall lanky jerks that treat Morties like dirt" Baker Morty clarified.

"I-I honestly can't wait to show you around, a-and introduce you to my buddies" Baker Morty said.

"I can't wait to meet them, and I'd very much like to see this Citadel" Aeliana said.

"W-what about you? I-I assume you're from here?" Baker Morty asked.

"Um well…not exactly, I mean I was born here but I didn't live here my whole life, honestly I'll spare you the details I don't want to bore you with my sappy backstory" Aeliana said.

"I-I don't mind hearing it, if you don't mind telling it" Baker Morty said.

"I wasn't born here in the big city, I was born in a small farming village known as Shili, the milder climate made it hospitable for growing crops year round, people would come from all over Kawaiitopia to buy Shili's fresh fruits and veggies, my parents found wealth in rice farming seeing as rice is a staple in over half of Kawaiitopian dishes, one year a severe drought hit the region hard, the once booming farming village was now a barren wasteland, all the farms had been ravaged by the drought and fires brought on by the drought" she paused for a moment.

"This devastating drought carried on for months with no end in sight, famine began to grip the region, lot's of starving desperate villagers left the place in search of better living conditions, the poorer Shili got, the more dangerous it became, people turned to some illegal activity in their desperation for food, my parents decided they no longer wanted me to live in such a terrible place, but they could not afford to move away, so they spent the last few coins they had to send me to the big city in hopes that I could find a better life" Aeliana's eyes were getting misty.

"I was only six years old, I was terrified, I had nowhere to go when I made it to Big Kawaii City, plus it was very different from the small quiet village I lived in, I just sat at the train station and cried I so badly wanted to go home, suddenly this older Kawaiitopian couple approached me and asked me why I was crying, I told them of my situation and they invited me into their home they took me under their wings and took care of me when I had nowhere else to go, their names were Isla and Apollo, Apollo is a chocolatier and owned this chocolate shop, yep this very one here that we are standing in, he inspired my love for chocolate and he showed me the craft, unfortunately Isla passed away a couple years ago and Apollo hasn't had the heart to make chocolate ever since, so I've been running the place for him" Aeliana finished her story.

"I-I'm sorry you had to go through that, but something good came from that tragedy, y-you know back on Earth my family hated me, especially my mother, I-I thought I had a good relationship with my grandpa, but it turned out it was only a conditional bond, w-when my grandpa abandoned me on the Citadel I was terrified, I-I thought my life was over, but then I-I met all sorts of amazing people who showed me what an unconditional familial bond looked like, now I realize that my life wasn't over, in reality it was just beginning" Baker Morty smiled as he thought about his friends.

"Yea, I wouldn't have met Isla and Apollo if I hadn't gone through all that, so I say it was all worth it in the end, and I had to realize that my parents thought they were doing what was best for me, it still took me a long time to forgive them though" Aeliana said.

"And w-we would never have met each other" he said.

"True, and well that would have been a shame" she reached out and grabbed his hand. His heart quickened.

"Y-yes it really would have been a tragedy" he gave her hand a squeeze.

"Well I think the chocolates should be about ready" Aeliana said as she stood up to grab them out of the fridge. She carefully popped them out of the molds. And they sat at a table upfront to enjoy them.

"I-I know I've tried your chocolates before, but I-I have to reiterate that these are delicious" Baker Morty said. As he let another smooth creamy chocolate delight his taste buds.

"Thank you! I take pride in my work" Aeliana said.

Just then the bell chimed as someone entered the shop. She was a Kawaiitopian with caramel colored skin, emerald green eyes, and long silky black hair that went down to her mid back. She had black fur, black ears, and a black tail with a braided gold circlet around her tail. She was wearing a simple light green sundress. Aeliana's eyes lit up.

"Hi Amberleigh!" Aeliana greeted.

"Hey girl! I figured I'd find you in here" Amberleigh walked over to their table. Aeliana stood up and gave her a hug. Baker Morty stood up out of politeness.

"Baker Morty, this is Amberleigh, my best friend in the whole galaxy, Amberleigh, this is Baker Morty, he's the guy I told you about" Aeliana introduced them.

"N-nice to meet you" Baker Morty smiled as he offered her his hand.

"Yea, nice to meet you too" she took his hand and shook it firmly.

"Oooh! This makes me so happy! I'm glad my best friend and potential mate are meeting, I hope you guys get along" Aeliana clapped her hands together excitedly. Baker Morty smiled. She looks so cute when she gets excited.

"Oh yea, Aeliana the reason I came here is because Apollo wanted to see you" Amberleigh said.

"Oh ok, I'll be right back Baker Morty, oh when I get back we should check out the street fair" Aeliana said before spinning on her heels and heading out the door. Leaving him and Amberleigh alone.

"So how long have you known Aeliana?" Baker Morty asked Amberleigh to break the ice. Instead of answering him she slammed him against the wall. She had him pinned against the wall by the shoulders. His eyes widened in shock. She was glaring at him with her lips peeled back in a snarl revealing her sharp fangs.

"Listen here bub! Just because I'm a female Kawaiitopian doesn't mean I can't kill a Morty and bury him where he'll never be found! you feel me! I know your type! I know what you Morties are about! You just want to come here to Kawaiitopia to get lucky because you know during mating season females are obsessed with Morties! My friend Aeliana is the sweetest most amazing girl ever and if you hurt her or use her I'm going to hunt you down and kill you!" Amberleigh snarled.

"I-I would never, I-I swear that's not why I'm here" Baker Morty gulped. She released him and crossed her arms whilst scowling at him.

"Yea, I've got my eyes on you, last time a Morty came here he was just here to sleep with as many female Kawaiitopians that would give him the time of day, such a disgusting jerk, Morties make me sick, it sickens me that they are the preferred mate for Kawaiitopians, I'm so glad we rarely see your kind and most female Kawaiitopians just take a male Kawaiitopian as a mate" she scoffed in disgust.

"R-really? W-what was his name?" Baker Morty asked.

"I don't know the jerkface's name! I just know what he looked like, he had on a navy blue flight jacket with gold buttons and gold trim on the sleeves, and he also had a cap with the pilot insignia on it" Amberleigh placed her hands on her hips.

"T-that sounds like First Officer Morty, b-but I-I didn't think he was like that" Baker Morty was shocked. Maybe he was wrong and it wasn't First Officer Morty, he would definitely be having a conversation with him the next time he sees him.

The door opened and Aeliana returned. He was relieved, the tense moment with Amberleigh was now over. She relaxed her features to look more friendly.

"I hope you two have been getting along whilst I was gone" Aeliana said.

"Oh yea, he's super nice! Anyways I better get going, I have to finish the garden by tomorrow, see you later bestie!" Amberleigh hugged her friend goodbye and started towards the door, once she was where Aeliana couldn't see her. She gave him one last threatening gesture before leaving.

"Well, ready to check out the street fair? They have all sorts of yummy treats and neat stuff" Aeliana said.

"Y-yea, let's go" Baker Morty said. After Aeliana closed up the shop they walked hand in hand to the street fair.

They walked around the street fair checking out the different vendors. She explained different things about Kawaiitopian culture. Then he noticed her wave at another Kawaiitopian female. He recognized her. It was Levina, he wondered if she and Cool Morty kept in touch after the wedding ended.

"H-hey Levina, have you seen Cool Morty at all?" Baker Morty asked.

"Oh yea, we just hung out yesterday" Levina said.

"Oh n-nice" he was happy for her. He hoped she and Cool Morty worked out.

"Oooh Baker Morty you gotta try these! They are a Kawaiitopian delicacy" Aeliana pulled him to a vendor cart. She handed him a plate as she paid the vendor.

On the plate were small fox paw shaped donut looking pastries. They were drizzled with some kind of red sauce. He took a bite out of it. The red sauce it was drizzled with was sweet and delicious and it was filled with a red jelly that was just as sweet as the drizzle. It was really good.

"Wow, w-what do they call these? They are really good" Baker Morty said.

"They are called Kawaiiberry donuts, Kawaiiberries only grow in the spring, so they are a seasonal treat, gotta savor them while they last" Aeliana smiled.

"I-I bet my desserts are way better than this" Baker Morty said.

"Ooh really, I can't wait to try them" she flicked her ears in a flirtatious manner.

"W-why don't you come over tomorrow and I-I'll show you how to bake and I'll show you around the Citadel" Baker Morty said.

"Sounds like fun! I can't wait" Aeliana said.

"Cool, I-I'll come get you with my trusty portal gun, s-so you don't have to travel to the Citadel, it's far away a-and a pain to get to" Baker Morty said.

"Ooh my hero, such a gentleman" she batted her eyelashes at him.

They enjoyed the fair and each other's company for a couple more hours until he thought he'd be sick if he tried any more Kawaiitopian food.

"Well I-I better get going, I-I have to make sure I have everything for our baking lesson tomorrow" Baker Morty said.

"Aww, I wish you didn't have to go, I wish you could stay a little longer and enjoy the firework show, but I understand that you must go" Aeliana gave him a sad look.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I promise we'll have fun tomorrow" Baker Morty said.

"I know we will" she hugged him. They embraced for a while, then he pulled out his portal gun and shot a portal. He waved at her one last time before going through it and coming out in his apartment. Man it was so handy to go anywhere instantly.

"So how did it go?" he heard from behind him. He gave a cry of alarm and whipped around to see Floor Manager Morty chilling on his couch with a smirk on his face. He placed a hand on his chest and tried to catch his breath as his heart pounded.

"Floor Manager Morty, I-I swear one of these days I'm going to call the cops on you" Baker Morty playfully punched his arm.

"Oh please, Cop Morty hates Morties, he won't help you" Floor Manager Morty dismissed him.

"W-well then I-I'll call Cop Rick on you" Baker Morty said.

"That rookie? Pfft what is he going to do? But that's besides the point tell me how it went" Floor Manager Morty said.

"It went great, s-she's really nice and all" Baker Morty began.

"But?" Floor Manager Morty raised a brow.

"I-I have to admit that I-I'm a little concerned about the fact that she's Kawaiitopian, I mean they are obsessed with Morties, h-how do I know she actually likes me for me and not just because I'm a Morty, s-she's coming here tomorrow, a place full of Morties, what if she's after all of us, e-even if she's just obsessed with me, do I really want to deal with a girl that is obsessed with me and wants to mate with me all the time, I-I don't know, maybe this isn't such a good idea" Baker Morty said.

"Well, you'd just have to do your research, I'm sure you can find information on Kawaiitopians, maybe it's not as bad as you think" Floor Manager Morty suggested.

"I-I suppose that's true, I-I really don't want to hurt her especially since her friend threatened to hunt me down and kill me, b-but I don't know if I can handle having her as a mate" Baker Morty said.

"Whoa whoa whoa hold up, she has a friend? Is she single?" Floor Manager Morty asked.

"S-sorry to burst your bubble but s-she doesn't like Morties" Baker Morty laughed.

"But you said Kawaiitopians are obsessed with Morties" Floor Manager Morty reminded him.

"I-I guess, it's only during mating season that they are obsessed with Morties, any other time they are free to express their disdain for Morties, s-sorry buddy it's going to be a tough sell getting her to like you" Baker Morty said.

"Aww" Floor Manager Morty pouted.

"Now if you don't mind I-I have to make sure I have all the ingredients I need, w-we are baking together tomorrow" Baker Morty said.

"Oh you guys are baking a baby together?" Floor Manager Morty teased him. Baker Morty grabbed one of the decorative pillows off the couch and tossed it at Floor Manager Morty.

"Eww, w-what is wrong with you? Why are you s-such a pervert" Baker Morty groaned.

"I'm a Morty, we're perverts, you may try and act all goody two shoes, but you know us Morties are total perverts" Floor Manager Morty said.

"Y-you know what, get out you are no longer welcome here, y-you are banned from ever entering this premises again" Baker Morty joked.

"Ok yeesh, sorry dad" Floor Manager Morty chuckled as he went on his way.

Baker Morty waited until Floor Manager Morty had gone into the elevator and the doors closed before he reached under his doormat and took the spare key. He replaced it with a nice try sucker note. Floor Manager Morty would not be letting himself in anytime soon.

Then he went back into his kitchen to make sure he had everything he needed to bake with Aeliana tomorrow. He decided he would show her how to make an orange cake since orange was her favorite flavor. He would decorate it nice and pretty and really impress her. He took stock of everything he needed versus what he had. He had gotten better about making sure his baking supplies stay stocked. Once he was sure he had everything he went back into his bedroom and got into some blue satin pajama pants and a plain blue t-shirt. He got into his bed and put his pillows up against the headboard. He rested his back against them. Then he grabbed his small portable laptop and set it on his lap. He went onto the universal database. It was a website that had information about all known species in the universe. He typed Kawaiitopian into the search engine. A web page that had everything there was to know about Kawaiitopians popped up. There were two pictures of Kawaiitopians. A male on the left and a female on the right.

Biological Information

Lifespan 80-100 years

Height (males 5'9" females 5'7")

Average Adult Weight (males 170lbs females 150lbs)

This wasn't the information he was after. He scrolled down until he came to the information he was seeking.

Reproduction

Kawaiitopians reach sexual maturity at the ages of 13 for females and 15 for males. Kawaiitopian mating season begins in Summer and ends in Fall. During this time unmated Kawaiitopians will usually seek mates, and mated Kawaiitopians will have heightened sexual needs (woe to a non-Kawaiitopian who takes a Kawaiitopian as a mate).

Kawaiitopian females prefer Morties as mates and will always prioritize mating with a Morty over

any other species (so Morties traveling to Kawaiitopia from Jun-Sep beware!). Some Kawaiitopians choose not to seek a mate during mating season. Once a mated pair is formed they mark each other so other Kawaiitopians know they are mated. Unmated Kawaiitopians do not pursue already mated Kawaiitopians. And mated Kawaiitopians do not mate with anyone other than their own mate.

He skipped over the rest of it seeing as he didn't need to know how Kawaiitopians reproduce. He's had the birds and the bees talk and he knows where babies come from. It said that some Kawaiitopians choose to ignore mating season entirely. Does that mean there's hope he won't be stuck with a horny freak for a girlfriend? After all, it is spring in Kawaiitopia summer was right around the corner. Would he simply have to avoid her during this time? What had he gotten himself into.

He turned his laptop off and put it back on his nightstand. He adjusted his pillows and laid back in bed. Aeliana seemed like a nice girl but she was also half animal and lord knows animals have some instincts they can't ignore. On a lighter note he read that Kawaiitopians have to eat four thousand calories a day to maintain their metabolism. She has to eat twice as much as he does; he might not be able to afford to feed her. He laughed at his own joke. He really liked her and it didn't seem fair to hold her own biology against her. After all he didn't know for sure that she would be an unbearably needy, clingy, crazy, freak. He was going to enjoy spending time with her and getting to know her. He's sure he'll be pleasantly surprised. He drifted off to sleep.

The next morning he got up early and whipped up some orange poppyseed muffins for her. Then he showered and brushed his teeth. Then he put on some blue jeans and his signature blue shirt. He got everything prepared for the baking session. He took out all the ingredients and utensils he'd need. And set them on the small island in the middle of the kitchen. Then he made sure everything was clean and presentable. He went into the living room and saw that the pillow he had thrown at Floor Manager Morty last night was still on the floor. He picked it up and put it neatly on the couch. He didn't have to do much considering he always kept his apartment clean. Once everything was ready he went and picked her up and brought her back to the Citadel.

"So this is your place, it's really nice and it smells really good in here" Aeliana said.

"Here, I-I made you some muffins" Baker Morty said.

"Aww that's so sweet, thank you" Aeliana said as she chowed down on one.

"Mmm, that was so good! It was moist and flavorful, thank you so much, don't mind if I have another" Aeliana said. As she ate another and another. Her big Kawaiitopian appetite was showing.

"Wow, I-I guess you really do like them huh" he laughed. She froze halfway through her sixth muffin and gave an embarrassed chuckle.

"Yea, hehe, thanks again for making them for me" she put her hand over her face in embarrassment.

"It's ok, y-you don't have to be embarrassed, I-I'm glad you enjoy them, anyways ready to bake?" Baker Morty said.

"Yea! Let's do it!" she said. They went into the kitchen.

"Ok first of all, I-I know it's hard for you ladies to contain yourselves in the presence of such a star, but please n-no photos" Baker Morty teased as he put his apron on.

"Oh, I didn't realize I was in the presence of a star" Aeliana lifted her tail playfully.

"Are you serious? I-I'm Baker Morty, t-the universe renowned pastry chef, people come from all over the universe to try my delicacies" Baker Morty gave a sly smile.

"Well, since I'm in the presence of such greatness, are you sure I can't have just one autograph? I mean look how handsome you are" Aeliana flirted.

"I-I'm sorry, but I-I'm extremely camera shy, I-I'll tell you what, how about a free baking lesson instead" Baker Morty winked at her.

"Oh my gosh yes! I get to learn how to bake from the amazing Baker Morty! Oh my gosh oh my gosh!" Aeliana fangirled.

"I-I know it's exciting but please contain yourself, ok first were going to turn on the oven, that's the most important step, can't bake a cake without a heated oven, for this particular delicacy w-we're going to preheat it to three fifty" Baker Morty turned on the oven to the desired temperature.

"Now, w-we're are going to cream together, a half cup of butter and three fourths cup of sugar, now y-you can use an electric mixer if you must, but real bakers do everything by hand, make sure the butter is softened i-it makes it much easier to mix" Baker Morty said as he whisked the butter and sugar until it was light and fluffy.

"Now w-we add the two eggs and vegetable oil" he added the eggs and vegetable oil to the butter and sugar mixture and whisked them in.

"Now w-we are going to add a half cup of orange juice, I-I bet you never imagined orange juice could be used for baking" Baker Morty whisked the orange juice in.

"Now i-it's time for the dry ingredients, two a-and a half cups of all purpose flour, two teaspoons of baking powder, and one third cup of cornstarch" Baker Morty said. He mixed the dry and wet ingredients together. Then he poured the batter into a greased nine inch round cake pan.

"I-I'm going to put this in the oven and let it bake for about thirty minutes, whilst w-we wait for the cake to be done we will make the frosting, w-which is literally just butter, confectioner's sugar, and orange juice, i-it's up to your discretion on how much you'll need to frost the cake" Baker Morty said.

He whipped up his frosting, he combined yellow and red gel food coloring to make the frosting orange. He put the frosting into a piping bag and selected the cake tip he wanted. Then he grabbed some oranges and sliced them. Aeliana was intently watching him work. Once his cake was done he put it into the freezer to speed up the cooling time.

"O-ok now that it's all cool, we can make it look pretty, I-I am using cake tip number eighteen, i-it gives me a good sized swirl with a nice rope like design" Baker Morty said.

He used a straight cake icing spatula to get the frosting on the cake perfectly smooth. Then he put orange slices all around the cake in a circle. In the middle of the cake he piped swirls of frosting until he was satisfied with his design.

"Well, w-what do you think?" Baker Morty asked.

"It's so beautiful!" she smiled.

"H-here, try some" Baker Morty cut her a piece of the cake. She took a bite out of it and let out a delighted sigh.

"Delicious! I can see why you are universe renown, this is absolutely amazing" Aeliana said as she devoured the slice of cake.

"Thank you kindly, here y-you can have the cake, i-instead of an autograph you can have this cake" Baker Morty said.

"Wow thank you! Between the cake and the muffins I'm going to gain a few pounds" Aeliana laughed.

"But seriously, that was really fun to watch, you are really good at baking" Aeliana looked at him with adoring brown eyes.

"Thanks, I-I really enjoy it, a-and I enjoy showing people my hobby, back in my home dimension I-I always wished that my family would take interest in it and I could have taught them how to bake, i-it would have been so fun, but s-showing you is so much better" Baker Morty grinned at her.

"I agree, selfishly I'm glad that you got to show me instead" Aeliana leaned into him.

"Well, shall I-I show you around the Citadel? Introduce you to my buddies?" Baker Morty suggested.

"Totally" Aeliana agreed.

"Well, first things first, I-I have two buddies that live here in this apartment complex, l-let me introduce you to them" Baker Morty said.

Baker Morty and Aeliana exited his apartment and headed a few doors down to Soft Morty's apartment. He knocked on the door. A couple moments later Soft Morty answered the door.

"Hey Soft Morty, t-this is Aeliana, I-I wanted to introduce her to my friends" Baker Morty said.

"Hello, I-I'm Soft Morty, nice to meet you" Soft Morty greeted her.

"Nice to meet you too!" she wagged her tail.

Baker Morty shamefully admitted that he gauged her interactions with Soft Morty to see if she showed any signs of being attracted to him too since he was a Morty as well. Then he mentally scolded himself for being ridiculous. He noticed that Missy wasn't present.

"W-where is Missy?" he asked.

"Getting groomed" Soft Morty responded.

"Really? There's a groomer h-here on the Citadel?" Baker Morty asked.

"Not here on the Citadel, i-it's this place on a really cool purple dwarf planet" Soft Morty said.

"Well, ok Soft Morty, I-I have to get going, still have lots to show the lady" Baker Morty said.

"Ok, t-thanks for stopping by, i-it was nice to meet you Aeliana" Soft Morty said.

They continued on their way. They went up to the next floor to Floor Manager Morty's place. Sighing he knocked on the door. He really hoped Floor Manager Morty didn't say anything stupid. Floor Manager Morty opened the door, he already had a stupid smile on his face.

"Hi Floor Manager Morty, t-this is Aeliana, the girl I told you about, Aeliana, this is Floor Manager Morty, he's my annoying coworker and friend" Baker Morty shot him a warning look.

"Hello Aeliana, i-it's nice to meet you" Floor Manager Morty greeted her cordially. Floor Manager Morty exchanged a mischievous look with Baker Morty who glared at him in turn.

"Well, i-it appears that Floor Manager Morty is very busy, s-so we'll leave him to his work" Baker Morty said.

"What do you mean? I-

"Bye Floor Manager Morty" Baker Morty cut him off before herding Aeliana back down the hallway. She gave him a confused look.

"Sorry about that, h-he can be…..eccentric to say the least, come on, t-there's still a lot to see" Baker Morty said.

They left the apartment complex and were walking down the streets of Mortyburg whilst he explained things to her. he showed her what a Rick was. Morties were eyeing her curiously, they seemed stunned that someone other than a Rick or a Morty was on the Citadel. He couldn't help but feel protective of her because he knew that some of them were getting ideas in their heads. They were coming up to The Chill Morty.

"Oh l-let's stop here, there is someone I-I would like you to meet" Baker Morty said as they entered The Chill Morty.

Immediately all eyes were on them. He scanned the crowd looking for his mellow friend. He spotted him sitting by the jukebox bopping his head to the music that was playing. They made their way over to him.

"Chill Morty, I-I'd like you to meet Aeliana, Aeliana, this is Chill Morty, he owns this establishment, I-I know he looks stoned all the time but I-I promise he isn't" Baker Morty said.

"Hello there man, nice to meet you man, why don't you guys stay and chill for a while" Chill Morty gave her a relaxed smile.

"Nice to meet you too! Hehe, I see where your name comes from" Aeliana giggled.

"Because I like to chill man, may as well sit back and relax, pop a squat, stay a while man" Chill Morty leaned back in his chair.

"A lot of Morties envy Chill Morty, y-you'll never see him stressed out" Baker Morty said.

"Stress? No way man, no point man, may as well chill, kick your feet up and relax" Chill Morty said in his usual mellow tone.

"We would love to stay and chill, but I-I have to finish showing her around the Citadel" Baker Morty said.

"Oh ok, well enjoy your tour of the Citadel man" Chill Morty said.

"Thank you! I will!" Aeliana said.

He showed her the place where his grandpa had left him, he showed her the factory where he worked. He showed her the tiny duplex he used to live in. Then he went to the clinic where Nurse Morty and Servant Morty worked.

"This is Nurse Morty and Servant Morty" he introduced her to them.

"Hello" Nurse Morty greeted her kindly.

"Hi, how are you? Servant Morty greeted.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you both" Aeliana said.

"Sorry, I-I know you guys are most likely very busy, so w-we won't bother you for long" Baker Morty said.

"I-I have forty five minutes until my next appointment, so I-I have a little time to talk" Nurse Morty said.

"So, have you guys lived here your whole lives?" Aeliana asked Nurse Morty and Servant Morty.

"I-I'm a Morty clone, so I-I've lived here with Doctor Rick my whole life" Nurse Morty said.

"I-I'm also a Morty clone, but I-I only came here recently" Servant Morty responded.

"Is it weird to be around a bunch of people who look just like you?" Aeliana asked.

"I-It totally weirded me out at first, seeing as I wasn't born here on the Citadel, I-I had no idea there were millions of different versions of me, but now it's kinda comforting in a way" Baker Morty said.

"I-I didn't know any different, I-I still remember the first time me and Doctor Rick left the Citadel to go help some alien planet that desperately needed a doctor, I-I was so weirded out by all the aliens because all I had ever seen up to that point were Ricks and Morties, even normal humans seemed weird to me" Nurse Morty chuckled.

"Same, I-I've been around Morties my whole life, so it never struck me as odd" Servant Morty said.

A Rick entered the building signaling that Nurse Morty and Servant Morty had to return to work. So they said their goodbyes and went about their business. And were walking down the streets of Mortyburg again. He wasn't going to show her Mortytown since it was a ghetto dangerous place. He would never want anything to happen to her. And he didn't want to risk there being trouble going into Rickmond.

"I-I wish I could introduce you to Cash Morty, he's a character, but h-he just got married a couple of days ago so he's on his honeymoon right now, y-you'll meet him later I'm sure" Baker Morty said.

"Aww that's so sweet" Aeliana said.

He showed her the Mortyburg Theater. He showed her the Morty Agency where Morties were adopted out. Then they headed back to his place. He just thought about how there are no seasons on the Citadel, does that mean if she lived here with him she wouldn't have a mating season. He really needed to stop harping on this.

"Can I-I ask you a question?" he asked her.

"Of course you can" she looked at him and smiled. He swallowed hard.

"I-I'm just going to be frank, w-what are you going to be like during mating season?" Baker Morty asked.

"Well, I'm human enough that I won't like force myself on you or anything crazy like that, but I will most likely pursue you more, you know get a little extra lovey dovey and flirty, I understand it may be uncomfortable for you, and I would never want to make you uncomfortable, so I can just stay away from you or we can meet in a place where it's always winter then I won't react to mating season" Aeliana explained.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I hope I'm not offending you" Baker Morty said.

"No not at all, having a Kawaiitopian mate can be a lot especially during mating season, so I understand you wanting to make sure you know what you are getting into, I would never want you to be unhappy" Aeliana smiled at him reassuringly.

They hung out and chatted until it was evening. Then he packed up the orange cake for her and took her home. Her friend Amberleigh was waiting at the chocolate shop. She proceeded to threaten him some more. He said goodbye to Aeliana and headed back home.

He smirked as he saw that his doormat was moved. That meant Floor Manager Morty had attempted and failed to let himself in again. He enjoyed his time with Aeliana, he couldn't believe that the thing that bothered him the most was that she might want to have sex with him a lot. There were many people who would think him an idiot for being concerned about that. But he always wanted a genuine relationship. And one question he didn't dare ask her was if she really liked him for him or simply because he was a Morty. He was hungry so he decided to go get another double pepperoni pizza and this time Floor Manager Morty wouldn't be able to steal it.
