Back with more! Warnings: Abuse/Slavery

Shin

Shin was so miserable. Sabine had basically been hunting her, and although Ahsoka had disarmed her of her saber, she still had Mandolorian armor tools, and pistols.

Leaving Shin utterly defenseless, and Sabine perfectly fine.

Jedi are so mean, Shin thought to herself, and they actually think Sith and Dark Jedi are bad? We're decent, at least.

Agreed, Phantom said from his perch on her shoulder, startling her.

She walked towards the bandits—they knew their place, they knew she was their leader.

They wouldn't check if I have my saber.

Shin was wrong.

She walked into the camp, strutting with her normal dignity, tying her howler to its normal spot, walking towards the tent she normally stayed in.

She didn't even make it halfway there.

"Hey," one of the bandits grunted in its strange tongue, "where's your shiny toy, little one?"

Shin let out a low growl, using the Force to shove him back. But more bandits came.

More bandits surrounded her.

"Not a threat without it," the bandit leader grunted, "you really thought you could come crawling back to us without your weapon? You're nothing but a little stray without that. We'll break you, little one," he promised.

Shin's breath caught as they closed in on her. She tried to throw them back, tried to stop them—but before she knew it, a cold metal collar had snapped around her neck, her hands were bound, and she was shoved to her knees in a rusted cage surrounded by jeering bandits.

"Not so strong now, eh girl?" One snarled.

"Pretty little thing. We can break her spirit. It's been broken before, by the looks of her—she's used to this life. It won't be hard to break her to our will," one of the others commented. Most of them nodded their agreement at this.

Shin struggled against her bindings, clawed at the collar, blocking a sob as her vision swam.

Her memories flooded, chains, punishments, desperate eyes and ignoring faces, jeering, laughing, reminding her what she was all the time.

Phantom had disappeared at some point, hiding under a table.

I can't do anything, he whispered, sounding…scared and heartbroken.

I know, Shin transmitted back, slightly aghast and caught off guard that the generally self-centered cat had feelings for anyone except himself, thanks anyway.

And in a terrible blur, Shin Hati was a slave again.

Does your heart hurt yet? It's just going to get worse (then eventually get better.) Thanks for reading, and please leave a review! More tomorrow, bye besties!
