The Lighthouse
After walking through so many paths through the forest, our heroes arrived at the beach. They sent out their Pokémon to play.
"Pika!" Pikachu said running in the sand with Eevee.
Geodude, Onix, Charmander and Sandslash were making sandcastles, which ended up destroyed by an oncoming wave that distraught them. But they made another one. Magikarp & Shellder was swimming across the sea. Bulbasaur, Ash's Vulpix, Elaine's Charmander & Bellsprout were digging around for seashells and Zubat & Beedrill were flying across the sea breeze.
"What a beautiful sunset," Ash commented with her toes in the sand.
"Maybe we should set up camp. It's getting late," Brock said.
"Or we could head to that lighthouse," Ash said as she pointed to a lighthouse.
"That works," Elaine said as she & the others recalled their Pokémon and headed towards the lighthouse.
When they got to it, Brock rang the doorbell.
Ding... Ding... Ding
"Who is it?" A male voice said through the intercom.
"We're just travelers looking for some shelter, if that's okay with you," Brock said.
"Can you cook without using tofu?" the voice asked.
"Sure can," Ash and Brock replied.
"Splendid. I've been eating nothing but tofu since by cook went on vacation. Come on in," the voice said.
The large doors opened & the trio went in.
"Greetings," the voice said.
The trio turned & saw a large brown horseshoe crab-like Pokémon with yellow pincers & red dot eyes.
"Huh?" the trio said.
"Don't freak out, I'm Bill," the voice said.
Ash & Elaine narrowed their eyes as Brock rose an eyebrow.
"Don't give me that look. This is a costume & I'm stuck inside it, please help," Bill said.
Ash jogged up the steps.
"Tell me what to do," Ash said.
"Push the button," Bill pointed.
Ash pressed the button, the costume came apart & revealed a man with greenish hair, dark green eyes & a dark red suit.
"Oh, thank goodness," Bill said as he stretched. "Thank you for that, I've been stuck in that costume for hours. Let's try this again. I'm Bill of the Lighthouse."
"I'm Ashley & these are my Pikachu & Eevee," Ash introduced.
"Pika," Pikachu greeted.
"Eevee," Eevee greeted.
"How extraordinary. A Shiny Eevee," Bill said as he patted Eevee's head.
"I'm Brock," Brock greeted.
"I'm Elaine," Elaine greeted.
"A pleasure to meet you all," Bill smiled.
"So what was the costume for?" Ash asked.
"I'm a Pokémon Researcher and I like to dress up as Pokémon to observe them in their natural habitat without scaring them away," Bill explained.
"That makes sense," Brock said.
"Thank you," Bill smiled.
After Brock made a meal of bacon-double cheeseburgers and Pokémon food with PokéPellet Ash made for the Pokémon, our heroes found themselves looking at a screen filled with different Pokémon.
"Here in the Kanto Region, there are 151 different species of Pokémon. But I'm assuming you know about the other Regions," Bill said.
"Yes," the trio nodded.
"But out of all of my achievements, this is my most proud achievement," Bill said as he shows them a picture of himself along with many blue serpentine-like Pokémon along with orange dragon-like Pokémon.
"No way, the Pseudo legendaries of the Region," Brock gasped as Ash & Elaine pulled out her Rotom Phones
Dratini, the Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon Type. Dratini dwells near bodies of rapidly flowing water, such as the plunge pools of waterfalls. As it grows, Dratini will shed its skin many times.
Dragonair, the Dragon Pokémon and the evolved form of Dratini. A Dragon Type. With the crystalline orbs on its body, Dragonair is rumored to be able to change the weather. Because of this, farmers have long regarded respect for this Pokémon.
Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon and the evolved form of Dragonair. A Dragon & Flying Type. This Pokémon saved a shipwrecked man, taking him to a remote island-a paradise occupied solely by Dragonite.
"How did you...?" Ash trailed off.
"I was out sailing on my boat, but I ended up in a massive storm that shipwrecked me. I was saved by a Dragonite when it took me to an island. I theorized that they are using their powers to control the storm to keep their island a secret," Bill said. "I saw Dratini shed their skin, Dragonair using Dragon Dance & even Dratini hatching out of their eggs."
"That's amazing," Brock said in awe.
Suddenly, Ash felt something on her leg. She looked & saw a purple cat-like Pokémon with a red gem on its forehead nuzzling her leg.
"Aren't you sweet?" Ash giggled as she petted the Pokémon's head.
"Espeon," the Pokémon smiled as Elaine scanned it
Espeon, the Sun Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. A Psychic Type. Espeon is extremely loyal to any Trainer it considers worthy. It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its Trainer from harm.
"Is she yours?" Elaine asked.
"Not really. Her & her friends appeared on my door one day, escaping from a Pokémon Poacher. I just feed them & study their evolutions," Bill answered.
"Friends?" Ash questioned.
"I think he means them," Brock said as he pointed towards the stairs.
The girls looked & saw a tan mammalian-like Pokémon with green leaf-like ears & tail & a green sprout on its head and a dark blue mammalian-like Pokémon with a teal crest with two dangling flaps adorning its head.
"A Leafeon & Glaceon," Ash said as she scanned them
Leafeon, the Verdant Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. A Grass Type. Its cellular composition is closer to that of a plant than an animal. It uses photosynthesis to produce its energy to supply with eating food.
Glaceon, the Fresh Snow Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. An Ice Type. It can control its body temperature at will. This enables it to freeze the moisture in the atmosphere, creating flurries of diamond dust.
"So cute~" Elaine cooed as she petted Glaceon while Brock petted Leafeon.
"How about you adopt them?" Bill suggested.
"Are you sure?" Ash asked as Espeon continued nuzzling her.
"I believe you have your answer," Bill smiled.
Ash pulled out a pink Pokéball with a red dot on top & a purple pattern on the bottom.
"This one matches you," Ash said.
"Espe," Espeon said as she tapped the Dream Ball & became captured.

Brock & Elaine caught Leafeon & Glaceon.
"That reminds me. I want to show you something," Bill said.
"What is it?" Brock asked.
"You'll see," Bill replied as he led them to the top of the lighthouse.
Suddenly, a roar was heard from the sea.
"It's here," Bill smiled.
"Who's here?" Elaine questioned.
Bill, Ash, Brock & Elaine turned to the ocean where the fog was getting thicker. A giant Pokémon walked up to the lighthouse from the fog and was revealed to be a giant Dragonite.
"A giant Dragonite?!" the trio said in shock.
"Yeah. That was my reaction when I first met it as well," Bill said as Dragonite lowered its head to Bill. "I almost thought the Dynamax Phenomenon have landed in Kanto, but that was impossible. It's been visiting every night ever since I wound up on Dragonite Island."
"This is incredible," Elaine said as she petted it.
Ash & Brock also petted the giant Dragonite's head.
The next day, Bill & Dragonite were saying their goodbyes to the gang.
"Thanks for letting us spend the night here," Brock said.
"It was no trouble at all. It's nice having company every now & then," Bill said. "Take care of your new Pokémon."
"We will," the trio said.
Then the gang began walking away, waving goodbye.
Bill & Dragonite waved goodbye, knowing they'll see their new friends again.
