I—I really think we should stop the test. She's close to the contamination line and her stress levels are alarming. I think she's in significant pain, ma'am."
L: "Understood. So, at this point, she's exhibiting the same aptitude for successful synchronization as any other human being?"
M: "One might characterize it that way, ma'am."
L: "Good. Please execute protocol eight-eight-dash-twelve."
M: "Ma'am, uhm—I'm not familiar with such a protocol."
L: "Refresh the repository. It was committed this morning."

M: "I—I don't understand—some of these code changes seem to reroute all relevant neural channels through the Dummy System. That—that doesn't make any sense."
L: "The technical specifics are irrelevant."
M: "Ma'am, I must strongly object. Captain Ibuki explicitly stated that the System is not to be used. It's highly unstable, and this use case seems far outside its specification."
L: "The protocol was developed, reviewed, and approved by former NERV Germany personnel—your people. I trust they accounted for the relevant operational risks."
M: "I—I have to inform Captain Ibuki. She has to know about this."
L: "Let me remind you, Lieutenant, that I am in charge of the Evangelion Program, not Captain Ibuki. I determine what she does and does not need to know. Now execute the protocol. This a direct order in case that wasn't clear."

L: "Or perhaps you're incapable of carrying out the task? If that's the case, I can have you replaced by someone who is. Shall I make the necessary arrangements, Lieutenant?"
M: "N—No, ma'am."

During a standard test, the subject experienced minor levels of discomfort.
In response to his daughter's apparent distress, the subject's father exhibited volatile behavior. Mr. Langley became agitated and irate and lashed out at the research team conducting the test. Security was alerted and two agents were dispatched.
The agents responded promptly to the situation, effectively restraining Mr. Langley and escorting him away from the test area. Mr. Langley was subsequently detained for questioning and counseling.
The test concluded without further incident. Going forward, we suggest limiting the presence of family members to a bare minimum. Also, legal action might be taken into consideration.
