Chapter 6: A Never Dying Hope
Date: October 6th, 2024
Katherine is clearly annoyed: "All of you sinners! Get out of my way!" She easily knocks us back while Mayuri prepares whatever it is he's planning. I end up fighting off a bunch more enemies from various sides with some of my comrades again due to being knocked back so much further than I expected to be knocked back. "Damn it! We have to strip Katherine of her divinity already! Just look at all of this destruction and death!" Yappa Yappa replies: "We will! We will because we will find a way and I can't wait to see the look on her face!" Minutes pass as we cleave through the enemy forces alongside various others while they largely fight amongst themselves, the ranks of the angels, demons, and Aizen's group beginning to really fall apart in order without Satan, God, or Aizen at the helm of them. This is one of the weaknesses of hierarchies. If they focus too hard on a single leader, they will be so much weaker without them. Many hierarchies try to relieve themselves of this problem by telling their people to lean on each other or be prepared to replace the leader should the leader be unable to lead. And yeah, that has helped many get through many problems but it's still apparent that there's a weakness there. When a society has social stratification into various classes and groups that have differing levels of power, it's a hierarchy. And when that happens, it means many people are going to view others as superior or inferior to them. And that's not right. No one is truly inferior or superior and it's not the fittest who survive in human societies. It's the most persistent or corrupt that truly survive. But in the end, social creatures that band together are the ones with the greatest chance of survival.
If it really was all about survival of the fittest, social creatures such as wolves and lions would be far less interested in providing for the youngest members of their groups. But anyway, without their leaders, the 3 groups are destabilizing despite having other leaders who could easily take their places. But the chaos of this battle has made things much messier and the groups have begun lots of infighting and doing rash things. And now that they are, most of them are easy pickings for the other sides including the one my comrades and I belong to. It didn't take much longer for angels, demons, and others to just stop fighting and surrender. They're directionless with the deaths of their leaders and the potential replacements for their leaders are just incapable of bring them all back together at this point. With their surrender, the chaos pipes down significantly except for the fact that Katherine's forces remain ruthless and bloodthirsty to the point that some of the anti-Aizen Arrancars seem merciful by comparison. Katherine's fascist troops literally kill lots of the members of the groups who have surrendered, forcing them to fight back and align themselves with us for now. And of course, there's a much smaller faction still active within the anti-Aizen group: those who want power for themselves such as Grimmjow who laughs: "Finally! I can begin my rise to power with Aizen and even the Hollow King now taken care of!" But then, Mayuri interrupts all fighting by shouting: "I have a surprise for those of you who oppose the Soul Society and its allies still! Bankai! Now taste a special mixture of my Bankai's poison!"
The unsettling demon baby looking Bankai he has opens its eye and unleashes a very deadly poison targeted towards Katherine's forces as well as Grimmjow & few others. Through many means of communication, the rest of those who were currently fighting managed to back off in time before the poison did its thing. Mayuri laughs: "Oh Katherine, I hope you enjoy this special little surprise! This time, the poison coming from my Bankai is extra dangerous, enough to be lethal to humans, demons, Shinigami, and even spirits alike. Oh and it even has anti-divinity properties as well! It was so easy to apply it to my Bankai. It just took a little time for it to mix in with the poison gas that was already there." Before our eyes, many of the remaining hostiles drop dead from the gas. This is going to weaken Nacirema in the long term in conjunction with all of the other losses they've had including the destruction of weapons, ammunition, supplies, and even vehicles like tanks and fighter jets which were the first casualties of this entire battle from what I was told when this was all over. Katherine is horrified: "What HAVE YOU DONE TO THEM?!" "Hehehehe! You know, I'm surprised you even care about them this much! I thought fascists were always happy to throw away anyone to save their own skins and while that is true, you seem to actually care or you're just angry that I got rid of your 'meat shields'. Either way, your little crusade has almost completely failed. You lost your alliance with Heaven and Hell plus God and Satan and of course, Aizen and The Shadow turned on you. This isn't your lucky day at all! But you could just surrender and allow me to study your now nearly invincible body of yours!
Not for such uninteresting reasons like sexual desires. I couldn't care less about that kind of thing, I'm interested in science and research, not that. I just want to study how the body of a god works and see what I can come up with for my own amusement as well as the future protection of the Soul Society." Katherine yells: "GET UP, MY TROOPS! It isn't over yet! We're going to slaughter all of these heathers and sinners! This crusade isn't over yet!" She then dashes at the unmoving Aizen as the remains of her forces get up, once again motivated to fight. Some of the angels and remaining mortal supporters of the now dead God suddenly splinter off and join Katherine's side again. One of the angels among them speaks: "We don't have to stay down either. Let's continue with the crusade!" The rest of them didn't join them after seeing the destruction that has happened so far as well as what BRAINS and the Soul Society have done, showing relentlessness but also compassion in general. They'd rather keep their arms down and go with us as prisoners than have to fight us again. What's more is that Starrk, who hasn't moved at all since he got here finally gets up and says: "I'm tired of this. I shouldn't even get involved because I don't want to. But.. The Soul Society and its allies from what I've been told want to end this as soon as possible. The other sides want that as well but they're not as peaceful. Some of my fellow Arrancars are with them so I'm just going to get this over with and say it. All Arrancars should merge with them in this battle officially. I will be taking their side and stick with it as long as they remain committed to getting all of these conflicts done and over with."
The large but gentle Dondachakka replies: "That's right!" And by now, those of our comrades who were still hunting for The Shadow fragments have all finally returned here at last. Back with Aizen and Katherine, Nemu is literally just persisting in getting in Katherine's way. The number of enemies left fighting us is down to a very small number so I could actually watch this all go down without having to fight anyone at the same time. In fact, myself and many others just kind of spring into action again and clean up what's left of Katherine's forces in seconds. They stood no chance. Now, it's all of us against just her. And she's angry. Mayuri just laughs again: "Alright, let's put Aizen back to where he- Oh wait, where we held him is nothing but rubble now so where do I move him?" He picks Aizen up and just walks away from the battle, looking for a place to put him in confinement and none of us stopped him to suggest where to put her because well, we have a new and angry god to deal with. Katherine is losing her patience: "WHERE ARE MY ASSOCIATES?! WHY HAVE THE VILLAINS ABANDONED ME UNNOTICED?!" Right, there's still them to deal with or at least, there was still them to deal with until some time earlier in this battle. But then, said villains suddenly come back to the battlefield. Goku Black smirks: "Katherine Glassgate, you finally get the lesson I tried to teach you. Now you understand that you can't just let these pathetic mortals and traitorous gods have their way and that you can't just refuse to even fight back when they come for you. You now get that you can't just keep having us take care of them for you. This is rather amusing, isn't it?"
Crimson Frieza laughs: "It looks like our enemies really believed that all they had left to do was defeat Katherine! Look at those monkeys and other fools!" Perfect Cell Max(fusion of Cell Max and Perfect Cell with Perfect Cell's personality dominate) grins: "I am now truly perfection. These mortals and others don't stand a chance against us. I mean, look at them! Most of their friends and allies are dead! Just look! They're not in any shape to resist us! This really is amusing!" Abstractoa speaks: "This isn't how this battle went by this point any of the previous times it has happened." I ask: "So what happened instead?" "A bigger bloodbath with these villains never vanishing mysteriously and only reappearing just now. Because Satan didn't defy the will of that God. But this isn't much better. They returned here with most of our forces dead. If they had stayed in the chaos, they would have been significantly weakened by now. But they didn't. They're all at full strength." Skyler sighs: "Talk about irony.. How do we even go from here? Everything that happens now hasn't happened before. No one knows how this battle is going to end anymore, not even you, Abstractoa or The Plot.." Ichigo yells: "Don't any of you dare lose hope or give up or I swear..." A breeze breaks through a tense silence that follows his shout. The Overlord laughs: "They outnumber us but against our power, it is nothing! Especially now that I have even shared the power of crystals with all of you, my associates in destruction. Embrace them and allow them to make you more powerful!"
All the villains pull out dark crystals and shatter them, allowing energy to surge through them only to not be good there. They transform while shouting: "Go, Artificial Barian Battlemorph!" Yuma shouts: "This is really bad! REALLY bad!" But they aren't even done there. Fuu senses that and exclaims: "It can't be! The Dark Factor?! It's back?! But I thought it was lost by the time Don Thousand finally died!" Mechikabura, one of the Dark Factor's previous wielders appears with a grin on his face as he shares it with his fellow villains. Krux laughs while holding 2 Time Blades: "It's time for all of our dreams to come true! What is that place where all dreams come true called again?! Right, Disney World! It too has too much technology! I still hate technology! Now then, Iron Doom 3.0! Rise and join this battle!" So the original Iron Doom. Lost in time thanks to Wu, Nya, and Kai(Ninjago) along with Krux and Acronix originally. They built a new Iron Doom after being saved by someone and aligning with Katherine which we faced last month. At some point, it too was destroyed. Now, they have this even more terrifying version of the Time Machine. Aspera just shouts: "REVEEEEEEEEEENGEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Doji laughs: "Oh all of this power! I can feel like going through my veins! It's so intoxicating! All of this raw power I can use to help put down those brats who have ruined me over the years! If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have lost my physical body! But I'm glad I have it back now but better than ever!" The corrupted Ryuga laughs: "Come on! Let's not waste anymore time! Let's kill all of these fools and cause destruction! SO MUCH DESTRUCTION!"
Dr. Ziggurat replies: "Not just yet. I have recreated Faust once again. And he's going to infuse us with Spiral Force!" The brainwashed version of Toby from Beyblade walks into the battlefield and launches Twisted Tempo. "Go, Tempo." Kenpachi yells: "Why are we just standing around here, letting all of this happen?!" Konan replies: "They aren't the only ones powering up." I scream as I power up myself, once again manifesting everything I can at once and even taking control of much of the air around us, ready to use it as part of my first move in this portion of the battle if I can. Naruto enters Sage Mode. Goku enters Perfected Ultra Instinct. The Mane 6 resonate together with their Elements Of Harmony. Carrion, Rimuru, Milim, Yappa Yappa, and several others manifest Demon Lord level auras. Basara and Drazeros release an intense amount of controlled darkness. Sonic and Shadow use the Chaos Emeralds to go Super on a new level with the help of Knuckles through the Master Emerald. Herbsalvin releases their full power and opens their pegasus wings. Alucard says: "Releasing all control restrictions by the orders of my master. *grins* Let the fun begin." The Shinigami release their Bankai or Shikai depending on how far they can go. Sui-Feng frowns: "I hate using this Bankai of mine but I have no other choice! Sting all enemies to death!" The Arrancars unleash their Resurrección transformations, becoming one with their blades in the process and changing in appearance. Tetsuya freaks out: "Why the crab am I still alive?! I'm too weak to help crab here and make these villains feel very crabby! Scuttling away! Scuttling! I can't help! I'm sorry but I gotta live to snappy snap you all later!"
But Frieza blasts him as The Overlord creates a massive dark barrier around all of us. "None of you are escaping. All of your hopes and dreams will be destroyed and after that, all of you are going to die." Tetsuya survives Frieza's blast through his crab reflexes but panics only to calm down and say defiantly: "Well fine, crabby pants! I'll fight too! Besides, even I hate those turd crabs who call themselves any number of the following: zionists, white nationalists, Christian nationalists, supremacists, and so on! Like how crabby do you have to be to be even be blind to the joys of friendship that I ignored for years?! It makes no crabs! Anyway, prepare for true crabbiness! Crabby crabby!" I sigh at his antics but stay focused especially after sensing another presence. Yami Marik suddenly appears with a twisted grin on his face: "Because of what the Pharaoh and my weaker half did to me, I am not as contained to a physical body as you have been led to believe! You can kill me but I'm forever cursed to wander the Shadow Realm! And now that my new allies have pulled me out of there, I'm back once again for my revenge as well as my plans to make all of you suffer!" We have a lot of villains to deal with now including a newly ascended god. This is even worse than the previous situation was. Hearts tries to use the power of the Universe Tree inside of him to destroy The Overlord's barrier but nothing happens. Our situation isn't hopeless though because of 3 reasons. One, Abstractoa is still sure of our victory. Two, I was just told telepathically by Abstractoa that the outcome of this war won't be changed by this change in how this battle is being continued.
And three, most of our comrades are dead but we still have a lot of us plus most of the Soul Society and Arrancars. We've lost the following comrades: nearly all duelists, most Miitopians and Tomapieians, 95% of the Assault Team including the NPCs who joined it back in the Infinityverse, all Justice League members, and many others such as Eggman's group and Senku's Kingdom Of Science. Ripley(Alien) reminds everyone that there is in fact still hope: "Listen up all of you! This isn't over! I won't let these damn villains get me like those damn disgusting and ugly xenomorphs have kept trying to! I hope none of you give up because if even just one of us does, we're all as good as dead! So get a grip on yourselves and shoot fear in the you know what and kick it in the face! I won't let any of you die on my watch! So you better stay vigilant! I do not enjoy the idea of being killed by any of these creeps that are in our way." She then fearlessly begins our fights against the villains in earnest by running up to Yami Marik and shooting him multiple times in the face before performing quick and intense martial arts moves against him. The villain grins: "This doesn't even hurt at all! How disappointing!" I don't even know which villain to help fight off first. The main problem is Katherine. Now that she's a god, she's almost untouchable. The others could go down and she'd still be going for a while against all of us at once. Ripley's words were enough to inspire everyone of us, even Starrk surprisingly. But just as I chose my target as Katherine in fact, someone interrupted our fights with arrows. Yamamoto shouts: "Those damn Quincy. I thought we were done with them centuries ago!"
Goku Black creates his energy scythe and goes in the direction the arrows came from and kills anyone over there only to not end up killing anyone. The Quincy reveal themselves by evading his attacks and getting closer to us. Pitohui yells: "Hey! Don't interrupt my fun!" Stitch adds: "Stitch doesn't like interrupters! Stitch only wants to cause mischief and chaos for villains to be annoyed by!" One of the Quincy, a man with blonde hair and blue eyes I know as the right hand of the Quincies' leader speaks: "We are here to exterminate all of you and conquer the 3 worlds. The Human World, Hueco Mundo, and the Soul Society. We are the Wandenreich. His majesty has yet to return but your fighting has forced us to step in and take care of you all ourselves. You have brought many beings who deserve to die here. And you nearly endangered our empire with all of this fighting that you have been doing." Orihime exclaims: "What's going on?!" I utter: "Damn Quincies." I never liked them while watching Bleach besides Uyru once he sort of became Ichigo's friend and Ichigo's deceased mom. Kenpachi shouts: "Who the hell are these people supposed to be?! Those Quincy or something?" Yamamoto looks angry but he isn't the only one for various reasons. Katherine is angry because they interrupted our battle for example. The Head Captain speaks: "How dare you intrude on the Soul Society when it is already under so much destruction?! Quincy, I thought we were through with you. I thought Uyru was the only one of you left." The man replies: "You were wrong. We aren't just Quincy. We are the Sternritters." I tell my shadows: "Go teach those people what for. We don't have time for this. I know exactly what they want. One of the perks of being a hardcore anime enjoyer.
And having watched Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War's first 2 seasons after the original series. But to think they emerged so early. They must be confident because their hierarchy revolves solely around their leader who is yet to return. Ritter is German for knight. But these people are far too ruthless towards the Hollows and too willing to kill Shinigami to call themselves true knights in my opinion. Shinigami show that Hollows can be saved from their own corruption but the Quincy just kill them instead of purifying their souls. It's like how Israel kills Gazans without mercy for living in Gaza among other reasons without even trying to understand them in the slightest." My shadows do nothing to the Quincy sadly. Our main enemies as well as ourselves come to a silent temporary agreement. The Overlord speaks: "These Quincy. They want all of us to die. I will not give them any mercy, no chances to reconsider and join our alliance instead." I start tracking down the Sternritter who can use their imagination. As a creative person with the Artist's Eye, I'm just itching to help deal with them. Ever since I saw them in Bleach, I have wanted to just jump in and stop them myself. I speak to the Sternritters briefly as I walk closer to them: "Our side isn't going to grant you much mercy either unless you choose to surrender or realize that ruthless killing isn't the way. You are a threat to peace and harmony. You seek to create a powerful empire. Most of us on our side hate empires. All empires must fall, no matter who is in charge of them. Regardless if they're a constitutional monarchy, democracy, fascist dictatorship, or whatever. All empires must fall."
It felt like a powder keg just exploded or something because seconds later, we were fighting alongside our greatest enemies to defeat the Wandenreich before it becomes a real problem. Everything around us gets replaced by some kind of imperial capital, this is the doing of the Sternritters. But despite their power including that weird looking ultimate transformation of theirs that I thought looks ridiculous the first time I saw it while watching that show, they ended up being no match against 2 forces vermently opposed to each other. Every single one of them died because none of them surrendered and they just kept trying to kill us. One of them turned some of our dead comrades and enemies into zombies even though that's been reversed since then. Wiping blood off my sword, I prepare to return to the main battle along with the others and that's exactly what we do together. Frieza laughs: "That takes care of those weird ones and their strange things on their heads! Now come at me, monkeys and anyone else who dares to challenge me, the almighty Lord Frieza, future emperor of all of Universe 7!" But I stay focused on the target I've picked and I'm not the only one targeting her. Katherine sees all of us coming and knocks us back easily. "Sinners! Don't you get that there's nothing you can do to kill me now that I'm a god?!" Barla replies: "Oh yeah? Did you forget about the Lance?!" "I'm not worried. You can't gather enough of yourselves to use it on me! I know that because I can see all of you at once and my new omnipotence prevents you from hiding secrets from me." Other villains suddenly stand in front of her. Katherine laughs: "Do all of you what may help to get what you want this badly?"
Frieza laughs: "That's part of it but mostly, we just want to kill these heroes, traitors, and so on ourselves!" But those who were just fighting them jump in and force them all back into their respective fights. Frieza gets annoyed: "Get out of my way! I want to kill those annoyances first!" Katherine speaks: "Don't get so worked up. *grins* These weaklings are mine and they will fall to my new powers. In fact, they can try everything they want to on me and see what happens to them after they all fail. Heroes, I want you to face me one on one, one after another. Come at me. I'll show you how superior I have become and.. *makes a TV screen appear* You're now live on television in my empire. I'm going to make an example out of you just as I have done to some of you and others up to now. There are still more vermin who refuse to obey me including those leftist extremists who won't leave me alone about not killing everyone who criticizes me." I reply: "If you're so powerful, why don't you one shot all of us for your 'obedient subjects' to see on live TV?" "Isn't it obvious? Since this will not affect my reputation, I will admit this to all of you and delight in how you react. I am a sadist. Deep down, I love making others suffer. Many like me such as Trump are also sadists. Making others suffer gives me such a thrill and smile. I really am going to enjoy this. You're going to embarrass yourselves live on television before I finally end all of you for good with my divine power. You should kiss goodbye to everything you hold dear because soon enough, you won't be able to see it ever again because it will all be destroyed!" We start attacking her at once. We give it everything.
Myself, Nagato and his Pains, Korosensei, Konan, Karma, Irina, and others adept at assassination are mostly the ones attacking Katherine. But we aren't the only ones. Ichigo, Orihime, Sakura, and Starrk are among those helping the effort as well plus Beerus, Athena, Abstractoa, and a couple other gods. But somehow, nothing is hitting. I push myself to the limits again: "This is all I have in me! This is what I can do as a dark knight! HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" All of my techniques, everything, none of them do anything despite how hard and how fast I hit our foe with my sword and attacks released through it. I even use my other weapons to the absolute maximum I can before it becomes clear that they're not working out very well at all. Once I tapped out, I end up falling to the ground because I didn't pay attention to how much I had left before I ran out of energy and exhaustion came into effect again. When Katherine saw that, she freezes everyone around us through time manipulation and says: "This one is apparently the first to have run out of strength. You will do nicely for my first demonstration of my absolute power and authority! *grins* I hope you're ready for the punishment you deserve as a knight who has sinned over and over again! I have little use for knights in my empire. They're outdated but you? Despite being from a modern world as well, you have chosen to be a knight. And now, you're going to regret the choice you've made. I'm going to torture you now and when I'm done, you will be truly dying a painful death." Guess her omnipotence doesn't tell her everything instantly. Her words imply she doesn't know I'm stuck as a zombie.
She begins torturing me right away or at least, she would have if she didn't ponder: "Would it be better to strip you of your armor by force or torture you with it still on? *twisted grin* I know! You can keep your armor on! I'm going to break it like I'm going to break you! And then, all of these weaklings are going to be tortured one by one just like you once they each run out of strength! I can't wait to see the looks on all of your pleading faces! But to do this perfectly, I'm going to need to do this in the name of God despite being one now myself, the one you helped kill not so long ago!" She creates a large crucifix and literally nails me to it by puncturing my armor and flesh with real metal nails. "Let this useless knight's torture begin!" She creates all sorts of things using magic to hurt me with, minimizing the damage while maximizing the pain, something that is almost impossible to do correctly in most situations. Whips of all elements, lightning chainsaw, and I'm not going to go further in detail because then it will get too graphic for a T rating I feel. Plus, I don't want to recall every detail about what Katherine did to me. By the time she was finally done, I had screamed and cried in pain so much that I eventually lost my voice and couldn't cry anymore. I did my best to have a defiant expression but it was hard. And no one could manage to stop her because they were frozen in time or the other villains were trying to kill all of them. Villains always love to try to mess with me using my own knightly identity. They know exactly how symbolic knights still are in modern worlds and how committed a knight like me has to be to being one in order to resist them like I have.
The only reason she stopped torturing me was because I pretended to be dead so she ripped me right off the giant crucifix. When I was on the ground, I was in completely horrible shape. The damage to my armor one thing on its own. But the damage to my body? Even worse. I knew my face has been greatly disfigured by this point and that my skin was charred from all of the fire magic. The next one to run out of energy ended up being Sakura and she gave her the exact same treatment. One by one, we all ended up getting tortured by her as I watched my comrades die, unable to do a damn thing about it or even lift a single finger. Because I didn't use all of my mana, I'm not becoming a skeleton but I think appearance wise, I would look better as one than I do right now. Even the gods were somehow still having trouble with her when it came down to just her and them. As if the bad news couldn't pile up enough, the other villains appeared around her with satisfied looks on their faces. Goku Black laughs: "All of our foes are dead besides these annoying gods now!" They don't even notice the fact that I'm still technically alive because my energy signature must have weakened to the smallest amount possible and I can't move any part of my body. My mental state begins to breakdown from all of this. All of my comrades have been killed. This isn't the first time but this might be the most painful time so far. I hope things never get this bad back on Earth. If Trump wins, something like this is going to happen. We can't let it happen. It won't be through supernatural means involving fire magic. Nor will a torture crucifix be used.
It will be via many different means of execution. But still, Trump is a truly weird man. Weirdos like him are obsessed with "purity", taking away rights from people because they're just a bunch of twisted sadists, and power. In 2020, he was a sore loser. He lost and he couldn't accept it. What a weirdo. He hates being called weird as do others like him. That's also weird because weird people are technically forced to accept that they're weird if they want to be happy. Katherine laughs at what they have accomplished together: "We don't have any reason to be frustrated now. I can kill off these other gods on my own in case you were wondering. No one can stop us now. No other opposition forces will stand much of a chance, we just eliminated our greatest threats all in a single battle and some more as well." I feel so powerless right now but I'm still here so.. I also don't feel powerless. They haven't noticed me still. But Abstractoa has. They create a clone of themselves to take their place in facing Katherine before taking me away to a good distance. The reason I'm the only one left is because all of the other members of the undead were completely obliterated. If Katherine realized I'm undead, she would have obliterated me on the spot after ripping my body off of the crucifix, no hesitation. I got lucky. Because of my curse, bringing me back with my body reduced to basically nothing would have been impossible. I would have been stuck in an afterlife permanently. But don't worry about me too much. I just know all of this is going to work out in the end. You need to be more concerned about others besides me especially those who have no support network and just die without ever truly living in our world and many others.
Once Abstractoa is sure no one followed or saw us, they speak to me: "The others can hold Katherine off for a while but it appears that Aizen helped her gain divine power even greater than our own combined powers. I suspect the vial she consumed had samples of blood from various gods. That's the only explanation. And the only one I recall from previous versions of this battle. Hope appears to have fizzled out and died, hasn't it? We appear powerless against Katherine, don't we? There's only been a countable number of times that situations have reached this dire for our collective. Even allies to our collective such as alternate versions of yourself and your closest friends from another universe in which Fluffy Afro never became Gorganan and the Jedi were wiped out some time ago. We were the last force keeping the multiverse safe from Katherine. Now, she can grow her alliance of villains and empire to overwhelm even groups as powerful as our collective if not more so. But hope lives on as long as you believe in it. If you work hard enough and dream big, you can change things and spread hope but to do that, you typically must make great sacrifices and even risk your life. They don't tell children of your human race this often but to achieve the biggest of dreams, you often have to bet everything and risk losing it all. Some dreams take centuries if not longer to be finally fulfilled. As individuals bond to the sheer infinite potential of the imagination, we can turn things around for our side but it won't be easy. Despite the immeasurable imagination I have that far exceeds yours, even there are limits to what I can imagine to change the situation.
But first, I'm going to take care of your injuries." The Guardian Of Creativity patiently nurses me back to health with poisons of course along with other things. That was after they took me back to the Creative Realm and changed the flow of time there so that a second in the Soul Society equals a day in the Creative Realm just to be safe. They even fix my armor and the rest of my gear for me. After that, they spoke to me: "Come walk with me. Let me show you more of this Realm. It's about time I did so while we figure out how to get ourselves out of the tight spot we're in back in the Soul Society. Katherine and the other villains can't reach this place. Only those with wild imaginations can come here on their own but others can be invited or summoned here as well. You are free to have a small portion of this Realm once you become a god yourself." I reply: "I'm only becoming a god because it's necessary to break the cycle. When that's over, I'm sealing my divine powers and such away immediately. I don't like having that much power and I don't want to become a constant target or figure to be worshipped. I don't want to be worshipped period. Goes against my morals. I will accept your offer though but only for a very small portion that doesn't affect anything." "I figured you would say that. Now look around us. This Realm is always changing as you have seen before. It goes on infinitely and only continues to grow. The solutions to our problem can be found here just as they can be in the Dreamverse or records of similar situations, among various other sources. But of course, I'm far from the only being with a powerful influence within imagination itself. A friend of yours told you of another recently.
This realm, no matter what anyone calls it or interprets its appearance as is more than big enough for others who are very much integral to the imagination other than myself as well. If we cannot think of the solution on our own, we can find ideas that can create it when put together. It however doesn't matter how we find it, only that we find it because even I don't know of it. This exact situation never happened in the previous cycles and I helped unintentionally cause it. It's on me to help resolve it. It is unfortunate that the protection I have granted you and the others has not been sufficient to make any difference unless I directly intervened up to now but that's an issue I'm not so concerned about. Even I have emotions other than calm. Anyone with a wide imagination has to. Emotions are a driving force behind the usage of the imagination, after all." We must have walked for hours, discussing what we can do to fix the problem at hand. But it turned out that we were just overthinking the entire thing. All we have to do to start is to bring everyone back. But that still left us with the issue of figuring out how to strip Katherine of her divine power, that's the step that will unravel the victory our enemy supposedly is about to achieve. You'd think the lance would be enough but no, it won't be. Abstractoa explained why that is: "Swift, the lance won't work because it is already infused with divine energy from God. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. That is a fundamental rule in most universes and that God was no exception to it. The only way for the lance to work again is to extract the energy. I brought it with me so it's safe. I found it earlier at some point.
The issue is that extracting divine energy is usually a dangerous process and that God had more than I do. But I have far more creative energy than he did. Extracting that energy will require it to move somewhere else. Few objects and creatures could handle obtaining it. Adding more divine energy to one who is already a god is not a wise idea nor is placing it in one who is not a god. I must create another object but the process is difficult to perform, despite everything I know. It's better to create another lance but this time with more effort and detail. I will do just that but that won't fix everything. I cannot make any object smaller than a lance for stripping Katherine's godhood due to her immense power. Objects like these have to be large enough to contain what they take away." After some time, a plan comes together. We work together to in fact put it all together. And after that, we head to Mii World for the machine that can revive fallen comrades but requires someone break through to the Afterlife Realms firsts. Abstractoa then freezes time: "We now have plenty of time to take care of this. I will also stop time in the Soul Society so we can bring in as many bodies of our fallen comrades here as we can. I will take care of providing what is necessary to make this machine work as intended. I will open portals to the afterlifes and other places where our comrades are now that their bodies have perished." Some time later, through a sort of feedback loop, we are able to bring everyone back with the help of others helping bring others back by using identical versions of that machine we have in other locations. Now that everyone is back, a huge group is formed to hold a new version of the same lance as before.
I was a part of it and now, we were going to get the drop on our enemies. It's time for one hell of a take back. We work together through any communication means we need to to pull it off as best as we possibly can. Thanks to all of this, we teleport to the Soul Society in a way that made us almost on top of all of our enemies. Abstractoa unfreezes time and myself and others part of that large group throw the lance at Katherine. And.. bullseye. Athena and the other gods saw it coming and got out of the way before it could hit any of them instead. Goku Black and the others are shocked at what just transpired. He demands: "What DID YOU DO?!" No one answers him. Instead, we watch as Katherine falls to the ground, screaming as the divine energy is taken from her. But it gets better because myself and the others used to performing assassinations immediately go at Katherine while the others overwhelm the other villains for a minute. We show Katherine no quarter. We attack her with everything we have. It seems that despite her becoming a machine of sorts last month, we were not only able to nearly kill her earlier but we also began to try to kill her now as well. Something must have gone weird with her machine parts to allow this to happen. Did her increase in power over time cause her machine parts to turn into blood, flesh, bones, and so on? That should be impossible but we know it isn't at all impossible. Not in the broader multiverse. But if that theory is correct, why isn't Katherine concerned about that change? Within seconds, our main enemy suffers so much damage because she is unable to defend herself against our onslaught. I use my daggers to attack so that the others have more room to nail her as well.
The other villains rush to attempt to help her out, still seeing her as invaluable towards achieving their twisted desires. But our comrades just keep getting in their way now that they're not just back to life but even back to full strength. Katherine screams: "SINNERS! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!" She suddenly starts giving off smoke and sparks of electricity. Mayuri, who is helping take her down in his own way looks at our foe with great interest, having found Aizen a place to be locked up before the Quincies obviously killed him on the way to messing with us, explaining the fact that Abstractoa and I both said that our comrades all died if they weren't undead or gods. I forgot about Mayuri but Abstractoa didn't. We found his body and revived him not that long ago. Mayuri yells: "How fascinating! Her once again non divine body is smoking and sparking with electricity just like a broken machine does! But what could this mean?! Nemu, prepare to collect a sample! I have to figure this out right away or we could end up making a grave mistake in this situation!" Eggman, also helping to get his own samples laughs: "No need! I think we can determine what is happening here on our own without tests!" Several other scientists are also involved with attacking Katherine in an attempt to end her life, even though most of them aren't assassins at all. In the end, a shocking discovery is made. Mayuri shouts: "Unbelievable! *Katherine loses consciousness* Look at her body! It's still that of a machine but every part of her body looks and functions almost exactly the same as her original body obviously did! This is astounding!
This goes beyond even the biotechnology any of us have seen up to this point! We might as well call the metal parts of her that became flesh: flesh metal or something like that! Do any of you have any idea what this means?! We could begin a revolution of biotechnology! But let's focus on the matter at hand now that the discovery has been confirmed!" We don't stop attacking Katherine, she has done far too much harm and has been very adamant about remaining as evil as she is no matter what happens. She ends up waking up and screams in pain but no one yells to stop attacking her because she isn't changing at all. This pain that should make her relate to others and see how her actions have made them feel even worse pain should be reforming her but it isn't. J'onn/The Martian Manhunter confirms this by saying while touching part of her: "Her mind is in a state of distress but it remains as it was before our ambush or whatever you wish to call this ongoing operation. Additionally, her thoughts show that she wants nothing more than to kill us all and execute all of her other enemies at once. And she won't stray from such a mindset so easily. It would take us losing a lot of good comrades all over again to get her to reform. I have become a more advanced telepath since I first joined BRAINS so I can tell even more than I used to in the past." Several others confirm his words. Katherine has become essentially incapable of reform. Even on the verge of death, she has no feelings to surrender or remorse for the horrors she has committed up to this point. Some of us even told her to give up but she refused and kept trying to kill us all to no avail due to her injuries messing up her techniques.
Hitsugaya, one of the 13 Gotei captains, a pretty serious guy who is also very expressive speaks: "We can't keep going like this. We have to put her out of her misery already. Let's end this. Hirimaru. Bankai!" We all step back as he freezes her with his Bankai and then yells: "We must all use ultimate moves on her to end this already!" And still, the other villains are prevented from helping her even Goku Black. We do just as Hitsugaya urges. I used my strongest attack on her with all the effort I could muster without twisting my muscles or nerves for that matter. Katherine is dead now, she has to be. We had to be merciless against her. There was no other choice. If we tried to be kind, she would have killed as many of us off as she could in a single move. She's not like a lot of people who are evil and can still be turned from such a thing. She would never give up on being cruel even if it meant her life was saved. Sure, she would con someone into saving her by claiming she's changed but in reality, she really wouldn't quit being cruel. Some of us looked into intel we got of her life before she became a tyrant. And it turns out that while she wasn't always like the way she is, she was always a sadist to some degree, she just hid and tried to deny it. That sadism didn't come from being born either. It's complicated but in short, Katherine is someone we can never believe would ever reform at this point. However, despite all of our attacks, she was still alive, albeit on the verge of death. She scrambles away from us. Kenpachi scoffs: "I'm just going to kill her now." But before he could, she vanished.
And none of us could figure out where she went or how she left. The lance used on her was already removed from the battlefield so there's no chance someone could have stolen it and turned its collected divine energy on all of us. Almost happened but didn't. Thankfully. Ryuk laughs: "Well, wasn't that just amusing? I'll just kill her using my Death Note." Several minutes passed as we waited to see if that worked and in that time, we rested up and prepared to fight the other villains as they have yet to retreat at all. But Ryuk ends up groaning: "This damn human can't be killed by the Death Note despite being stripped of her divine abilities AND being a machine whose parts have turned into human parts, making her effectively human again in the process! She got away, that's kind of annoying. But, she lost her godly powers. That's enough to celebrate over with a fresh delicious apple from Earth. It better be freshly harvested like just seconds ago from a farm. THOSE ARE THE BEST KIND OF APPLES! Wait, I know where to get even better apples! How have I forgotten?! I'm going to Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville when we're done here! Hey, Light! Do you wanna come with?!" The ex-would be world dominator replies: "No thanks. There's too much work to do right now." Rukia yells: "Hey! We're still in the middle of a crisis here! There's still incredibly powerful villains to deal with! They could crush our comrades in one fell swoop at any moment at this point! Get going!"
And so, we join the others in fighting the other villains. I join the efforts against Goku Black. He only grins as he sees myself and others begin to fight him as well: "You fools! Do you have any idea what you just got yourselves into?!" Argo replies: "Hate to tell ya this but your imperialist friend has retreated and is on the verge of death." Goku Black laughs: "I know that! The Overlord left to help her just a few minutes ago! He said he has a special way for healing those of us who end up injured. And here's something all of you should know. We know you've been getting much better with your ways of handling the likes of us, more in depth, more creative, more ambitious. You can count on us to do the same right back! I can't wait to see the looks on your faces next time we meet should this not be the last time! We have no plans for letting any of you stay alive! All of you are going to die or be obliterated if you can't die or you just keep reviving yourselves! You fools should have never come here to do battle. And this time, we won't let any of you get away. We are going to kill even the gods on your side. Project Zero Mortals will come closer to completion! Mortals just keep killing each other when they get intelligent enough. They never learn. It's always violence, violence, violence." He's doing one of his speeches. I tune it out to keep fighting against him with everything I got as do the others fighting him but out of nowhere, he somehow turns the tables on us and defeats all of us with a single attack while laughing. "I have grown even more powerful than when I was under the banner of Don Thousand. You see, you helped me learn that how powerful I currently am will not be enough to kill all mortals.
I will eventually reach a level of power that not even fellow gods could even come close to matching. My body is already perfection after fighting every version of Goku I could find but now, I see that I can grow even further than I already have with this body. That is why all of you have lost and now, I'm going to kill you all with one last attack." Around us, our other comrades end up in the same spot as we do, beaten and unable to fight back due to a single knockout level attack. So.. what will it take to get us out of THIS one?! For some reason, a bunch of our comrades vanish or turn out to be not our comrades at all or are literally solid holograms aka DHIs. Looking around, I notice several busted up audio animatronics/robots. Goku Black notices as do the other villains. Aspera yells: "What kind of trickery is this?! WAS THIS WU'S DOING?! That treacherous deceiver!" And of course, there's also a few stunt doubles aka hard to kill androids. Randomly, a whole parade procession appears with music and singing and everything. Goku Black is annoyed: "Is this supposed to be insulting us?! What kind of annoyance is this supposed to be?! I can't stand mortals and their needless theatrics that don't even stop them from committing violence against each other!" The performers reveal themselves to be the real versions of those who vanished or turned out to be fakes. Some of them are healers so in seconds, through wide AoE healing spells, most of us get right back up. As for me, I drink more poisons to recover from my own injuries though I was a struggle to move my weakened hands to do so. The villains are shocked at all of this but calm down and get serious and malicious all over again.
Frieza laughs: "Nice whatever that was but it will not stop us from killing every last one of you!" That's what he thought. All Might yells: "Operation Amusement Park!" That was the codename for the last resort plan we came up with last month. The villains are not going to like this. Using my Artist's Eye, I start conjuring sliding, about to crash roller coaster trains one after another to go at the villains. This is a really absurd last resort plan but that's the beauty of it. It's so unexpected that the enemy doesn't know what to expect. Ninja from Konoha, other ninja villages, and other places throw fireworks at our foes. But it's still not over. Austin, my friend and former lover who had the Pop Star job in Miitopia before it transformed into something focused even more on the whole screaming ability that job gave him and is also now a sort of infamous death metal vocalist as well as great guitarist appears on a stage created using a action field spell by someone. And with him are various other loud noisemakers. Seeing them, we all backed away and got the Arrancars and anyone else not in the know to as well to the confusion of the villains who were now being hit by pie cannons, far distance paintball blasters(Sinon and other GGO veterans were doing most of the work on sending those out), party cannons, water guns(from RCT3 but upgraded), and other silly gags like giant silly string containers. Right as they get over their shock, Goku Black yells: "Enough of these games! Mortals and others, you're all going to die at long-" Austin and the others start being extremely loud through microphones, blasting the eardrums of the villains and creating a brutal tsunami of soundwaves. Stitch is being amongst the loudest and is currently playing with the villains.
And he isn't alone. Other mischief makers are doing that too. Once the sounds cease due to the villains recovering and getting ready to kill Stitch and co first out of annoyance, the next stage begins. Soon, there's going to be an epic Assassination Classroom style attempt to defeat our foes at the same time. If we can't kill them or make them surrender, we will force them to retreat. But for that to happen, a couple more steps are necessary. Yuya and the other greatest dueltainers on our side start performing with other notable entertainers such as Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie. Do not try any of this at home. Operation Amusement Park does NOT defeat fascism by itself. The idea is to completely distract the villains with things that will either make them dance or want to rip their ears off and put sticks in their eyes and scream. Doofensmirtz does some weird things including attempting to square dance and fuse country and western again. You get the picture. Kurosuma speaks while those of us getting ready to do the last step are getting together behind all of the distractions: "The targets are all in position. We have to line up our movements and get ready to show no mercy. This will be bigger than all of our attempts to kill Korosensei back at that Assassination Waterpark." 15 minutes later, we get the jump on the villains and everyone else joins us. Hyperduck is even formed again along with various fusions as all kinds of creations such as Phineas and Ferb's treehouse robots show up to add to the chaos. Not even Goku Black saw it coming. We spent hours perfecting Operation Amusement Park and we got the villains good. When the dust cleared, the villains were beaten badly. We overwhelmed them completely despite them being stronger than us all.
Yamamoto speaks: "You villains will now be punished for what you have helped do to the Soul Society. There is no time for a trial and you cannot be given time to recover at all so it is time for you to BURN TO ASHES ALONG WITH YOUR TWISTED PLANS!" But the villains get back up and nearly kill him before beginning to retreat. But The Hair Guy gets in their way and uses his surprisingly useful hair to restrain them and somehow keep them in place. "Attention duelists, my hair has captured these villains. My hair also says that it will not let go of them unless it has to anytime soon." He must use L'Oréal for his hair or something. I'm just kidding. Goku Black scoffs and easily breaks himself and the others out of THG's hair. He speaks to us coldly while bleeding heavily: "This isn't over. As long as there are mortals in existence, I will kill them! You will be next for me to kill! All mortals will die!" He then leaves with the other villains who are also bleeding heavily except for Perfect Cell Max who is regenerating but also knocked out completely. And using magic, the Soul Society is fixed up an hour later. It would be several days until our foes did anything major again. After all, if Katherine or her trusted villain friends were seen the way they were in public, Nacrirema probably wouldn't survive the resulting media frenzy and its immediate societal influence. 3 days after the battle in the Soul Society ended with the retreat of our main enemies, the destruction of several enemy forces, the deaths of God and Satan, the return and splitting up again of The Shadow, a failed crusade, more allies on our side, and more, we had a meeting about it at last. Things got very chaotic after it ended.
Of course during the meeting, I was asked to give my account on what happened after basically everyone had been killed. I explained everything in detail without taking too much time because I am meticulously detail oriented and I have made very long explanations for things. I added once I was done my opinion on the entire situation: "Our performance was in between great and terrible. We weren't prepared for the enemy and got wiped out. But at the same time, we managed to stop our foes from causing much damage outside of the Soul Society. I am still recovering from being tortured the way I was but I've been getting the help I need to get through having experienced something so horrible like what I went through early on in the Infinityverse Incident. As have the others who were tortured by Katherine as well. We have to prevent incidents like what has happened from happening again. And Goku Black's words imply we may see some truly devious tricks used on us in the future so we have to keep upping our game especially now that we have slowed recruitment into BRAINS to a incredibly low rate for the time being. But the Multiverse Defense Force has a lot of space to grow. I'm excited to see how it evolves. There's so much to unpack. A lot has happened since this month began already. Abstractoa's defiance of fate is going to change things more and more as time goes on. Now we have truly no idea how things are going to go from here. But as an individual and.. as a knight.. I'm just so glad to be fighting alongside all of you and to have others I cherish as deeply as I do. We can never forget why we fight. All the reasons we do. And in addition, I'd like to state I want to see us focus on avoiding damaging nature more often from here on out.
The blatant disregard for nature that even I've engaged in hurts. I think most of us are somewhat complacent in doing that, not just me. But maybe it's more so we are too busy fighting to weep for the trees and other parts of nature destroyed during many previous fights and other things. We need to try to take better care of nature and keep battles away from it. It hurts my heart to realize just how many environments have been damaged or destroyed during battles in many universes. Nature is what gives us life. Human beings don't respect that in many worlds and just take and take and destroy without giving back. Societies care about the economy but not human lives or nature itself. The economy means jack when compared to human lives or nature. A unhappy population doesn't mean things are well if the economy happens to be fine despite their misery. It means capitalism sucks which it always does. That is all I have to say. Thanks for giving me the floor for a little while." I sit back down. Our meeting onboard our space station continues and spans the whole entire day with breaks for meals and other things with no one having to stay in the meeting as a mandatory thing to do. If someone has to pee, they can just go pee in a bathroom on this space station. No hall pass or anything required. Take notes, workplaces. Let employees use the bathroom. And eat. And drink. And stay home if they're sick and give them sick leave because illness sucks. Someone has to be healthy to work their best so jobs have an obligation to help them with their health. It's not that complicated. After the meeting was over, I drank a sleep replacement potion without worry now that we have found a way to prevent future shortages of the stuff. What's that way? Not telling, I actually don't know it either but trust those who do know. It's better to not learn about as it's not necessary and we're swamped with this latest war anyway.
After that, I went back to the Miitopia BRAINS base and did some sword training in one of the training rooms. It doesn't build my upper body muscles anymore due to my zombie curse but it keeps my skills sharp and helps me further refine them to better utilize my physical strength. I also do a lot of leg stuff now that I have to focus on them to get my body to continue to grow physically stronger. After some time, someone comes in. It's Bray. She speaks to me: "My friend, I have something you might want to consider doing." I keep training. I can hear her just fine despite that: "Hey Bray, what is it?" "There are several opportunities to help out innocent people in various worlds." "I see. The war is tough on everyone. Could you tell me what they are?" She nods and after some talking, I choose to read a book to some orphans in Neo Domino City's former Satellite area which was recently the sight of a whole other bloody battle where the enemy tried to take over the world of Yugioh 5Ds but ended up failing. After ceasing my training and thanking Bray for telling me, I go to Neo Domino and read to them for a few hours plus talk about some things before helping Yusei and the others teach them to be independent and move them to Crow's place. Thanks to research partly spurred by my realizing several months ago that adoption is often a actually really messed up system with white families adopting Chinese children and others who were taken from their families by force among other horrible things such as indoctrination of adoptees by white nationalists, the BRAINS Collective has developed a firm anti-adoption stance. And now, we send some time creating alternate environments to adoption.
In Mii World for example, orphans are now taken care of by communities instead of adopted parents. The same goes here in Neo Domino these days. What's the saying again? It takes a village to raise a *something*? Something like that. Anyway, we have also been working to do something about the adoption system itself in worlds where interdimensional intervention in them no longer matters so much. We will build a better tomorrow for as many as we can, whether they be wildlife, trees, people, aliens, or whatever. Oh yeah and the children loved having me read to them as well as tell them a couple brief stories. I want to read to children in my original body someday too. The experience made me happier. No matter where I go, many find joy in seeing me because of my knightly identity. That's just how it goes. The war goes on but for now, things are a little bit peaceful. We can't get complacent though. We can never get complacent even if it's a while between this and the next conflict. Sure, we can relax sometimes but we have to always be ready for anything. Sometimes, I've had doubts in my original body on whether or not I want to be a knight in it too but at the same time, I know I'm being silly. Being a knight is very important to me. Yes, I don't always take it seriously and make fun of how serious it's all meant to be but still. I want. It's a lot of work and responsibility, takes a long time to achieve usually. That makes it hard to stay committed to but I just gotta. "I don't want to be a knight." That's utterly ridiculous for me to say. I do. I just don't ever want to be the kind of knight who is all traditional and loyal to the crown and some god. The knight I am in this undead body of mine is like an updated version of the classic medieval knight.
A very socialist upgrade. But anyway. Even without my armor or sword or cape, I know I have the heart of a knight. Or at least, I try to and am working on reinforcing the compassion I have. But I wouldn't be where I am today without the help of so many others. I can go on and on about myself if I wish. But no, I have to keep telling you readers that a knight.. no, not just a knight but any individual is nothing without at least one other life form to love and care about. The lone wolf thing is overrated and super edgy. We are social creatures, very few of us can get away with being truly alone. And even then, I doubt they can go without seeing at least one other living organism like a tree at least for very long in terms of on the year scale. Social creatures need social interactions to survive. That's how it works. That's why individualism is overrated a bit too. Yeah, having a sense of self is important but if there's no sense of community as well, it's worth less than a lump of coal Santa brought a naughty kid for Christmas. The disguised bubble gum gag gift kind. After the orphans are moved to Crow's, I leave Neo Domino but not before a tag duel with me and Crow against Yusei and Jack. We all needed that and the kids loved it. It was awesome. I said goodbye to all of them and promised to stop by again sometime in the future. After that, I spent some time with my closest friends like the affectionate as ever wolf Andromeda and my lover Herbsalvin plus Dominic who was tinkering with something new. True friends are amazing. We don't really know what's going to happen for us next. We just know we have to keep finding joy where and when we can. We have to keep smiling at least often enough to never lose them and have some satisfaction with our lives. Against the forces of fascism, a smile is equal to a middle finger or the heavy metal horns made famous by the likes of Ronnie James Dio. A smile is defiance. A refusal to let cruelty destroy every last bit of your joy.
That's why All Might became an icon. That's why smiling characters are usually people's favorite characters. Smiles are everything. Smile. Smile when you feel like smiling even if it feels weird to wherever it is you are when you feel like smiling. The best smiles of course, come naturally.
