An Unwelcome Reunion
Date: January 4th, 2025
Just 2 days after our massive latest sparring session ended, something disastrous would occur and create untold misery by the time any of us could respawn. We werent fully prepared for what happened. It was beyond words can truly describe. The town of Fun Land was at relative peace for a long period of time, with previous invasions of it mostly repelled extremely quickly. But then, the villains came, brought back some of their allies and even some of their allies turned enemies or enemies turned allies turned enemies. Words cannot do what happened justice no matter how hard I try to use them to describe what happened. All was well, the well communal town was ready for anything or so it seemed. All residents were ready for a fight, even the likes of Blathers. But then, the sky seemed to explode for a few moments around midnight before THEY came. The villains appeared alongside they allies they brought back along with an entire army of AI piloted vehicles straight out of modern Earth and science fiction. And according to what we learned later, those AI only operated the vehicles so well because in order to do so, they were programmed to steal the processing power of billions of human beings' brains from multiple versions of Earth that had been ravaged by the now fallen Nacirema Empire. Because gen "AI" had been shown to fail so spectacularly, these sadist villains just had to make AI that steal from people's brains directly, didnt they? But they didnt just stand around in the sky. No, they devastated the entire planet.
They didnt start by attacking Fun Land. No, they had something far more devious in mind due to the fact the town is the most well defended location on the planet with known fighters living in it. When tyrants keep threatening the multiverse, its only a matter of time until innocent everyday individuals in a small town or something in at least one place get radicalized and willing to fight back with everything they can muster. They first took over the trains, cutting off supply for most forces capable of fighting back and giving them a way to invade more places at the same time. Then, they took over Dodo Airlines and the headquarters of Nook Inc. All of the islands soon fell one by one. Harmony island was no exception. Nor was the island chain Tortimer/Kotobuki retired to by the events of New Leaf. Everything was taken over in minutes. The villains and their accomplices destroyed everything in their path by any means they felt like doing so. The body count climbed well before any of us in BRAINS knew what was going on. There are countless horrifying details I havent even mentioned about what was happening. But then, we finally got word of what was happening. Isabelle sends word to every single BRAINS member at once through a single message. I was reading a book when we got notice of what was happening. So the marks many of us have had since Minenabis officially began involving themselves with our collective didnt even have time to go off and start pulsating and all that.
I read the message and spring into alertness before teleporting to Fun Land after gathering a few close physically close by friends as well as Herbsalvin. We rushed to Fun Land without hesitation and saw something straight out of nightmares as our enemies chose this moment to take over the skies and the beaches. Myself and my loved ones ended up next to Hugh's house. Bray speaks: "...I find myself at a loss of words about all of this.." I run to knock on Hugh's door loudly and urgently. Hugh soon answers it and yawns: "What is it, Wild Side!. ..Swift?!" "Hugh, theres no time. Our enemies are back in.. full force." 20 minutes later, more of our comrades show up and we gather with them along with every single Fun Land resident. We gathered in and around the town square and were horrified by what we were seeing. The power levels of the villains was constantly present and putting a massive pressure on all of us. I speak: "What.. have they done?!" Isabelle replies: "They have surrounded us all and taken over the rest of the world while they were at it!" Incinerate, a once universally feared werewolf from Kohannix and one of my fursona's closest friends exclaims: "I can smell it! This entire world smells like blood! That hasnt happened many times up to now.. I'll rip apart those responsible for this or die trying! The looks on their faces as I make them beg for mercy! *calms down* If they want to shed that much blood, they have to expect to lose their own blood as well. *growls* They wont get away with this."
After a couple minutes, the villains meet us in the middle in a way by appearing in front of us from the sky or wherever they all were before individually. Actually, that isnt what happened. No, they just positioned themselves in the sky and had spotlights shining on them through some of the fighter jets and airships and spaceships they have covering the entire sky. And in the middle of them is Katherine. She laughs: "You pathetic vermin who are mere fodder for our power and the destruction of everything that stands in our way! Say goodbye to the holidays and everything else that brings joy and/or keeps all of you alive! We will build new empires that will be perfect just like we are!" Wait, is that Matt up there? Didnt Katherine ditch him and leave him to die or something? Matt laughs: "But theres more! You see, since the last time I died, I have really gotten into the spirit of putting on a show like never before, even at my amusement park that was taken from me! You weak plebians, you have no true concept of what we have planned for you! We might as well call this a musical of revenge!" Aspera yells: "REVEEEEEEENNNNNGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE! AT LAST, IT WILL BE MINE AND THIS TIME, NO ONE WILL STOP ME FROM OBTAINING IT!" Goku Black smirks: "We never needed the Nacirema Empire to get what we want. It was nice while it lasted but now that its a new year in the eyes of many worlds, we have new torments for the likes of you annoying mortals who will soon be exterminated. Project Zero Mortals has now resumed thanks to our invasion of this world. You may call us the Harbringers Of Destruction!"
Matt chuckles: "My my, so poetic and elegantly put! As we speak, some of our AI programs are exterminating an entire planet's population for resource extraction and colonization. It seems the few remaining old assets of the UMC that we were able to get our hands on proved to be very handy. So heres the deal, all of you can just let us slaughter you all in beautifully done bloodshed or you can fight us and wallow in despair as we completely crush you while still slaughtering all of you! These are your only two choices! Choose wisely! Revenge is going to be all ours!" Aizen smirks: "None of you will be able to stop us especially now that Im free again." Every single villain we have killed off since the start of the conflict with Nacirema is back. Seeing many of our faces twist in horror at seeing the likes of Aizen speak, Katherine cackles: "Now you wokeist freaks have finally noticed! Thats right, all of your hard work eliminating many of us has proven pointless! I know how much you like to revive each other so we're now doing the same thing! That also means The Plot wont be getting any of us back anytime soon! But thats not all! Lets let these freaks have a taste of true terror!" Smaller aircrafts part for a familiar looking ship. I yell: "No way! Thats the Nostromo from the 1979 film Alien!" Matt pulls out a copy of 1984 by George Orwell: "War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. We want to have a little fun with our revenge. After all, most of us are sadists! We enjoy watching plebians like all of you suffer! I dont have to lie to you or hide that. Not after all the times we've heard many of you call us out.
And besides, theres no easy to manipulate fools around. If only they realized what the likes of us have been doing and trying to do to them. Theyd finally realize whats going on and revolt and we cant have that, can we. Now then.. *the Nostromo's doors open, revealing putrid alien nightmares in the process* we present these not so little friends of ours! Its funny, really. These friends of ours wouldnt be here today if we hadnt messed up Ellen Ripley or taken over the company who sees these friends as valuable assets to keep alive at all costs." Katherine laughs: "Not even you freaks will be able to survive! Just like any other vermin, you will be exterminated as you rightfully deserve to be for standing in the way of our plans!" With that said, all of the villains just leave with the last one to go, Frieza even saying: "This is what you get! If you want to blame someone, blame those monkeys you have chosen to be friends with! Like.. *points at Goku* HIIIIIIMMMM!" The xenomorphs very quickly overrun the entire town/commune. We cant move an inch with all of these disgusting carnivorous creatures surrounding us. I try to kill one with my sword but dont even make a dent. "Whats going on?! Last time we dealt with these things, we could one shot them effortlessly! *pulls out BRAIN Blaster and tries to disintegrate the alien and fails* Damn! Not even thats working.." Blathers yells: "Hooooo! How could they have evolved to become THIS strong?! It makes no sense!"
Suddenly, the aliens stop trying to eat us all or latch onto us or burrow into us. They part way for someone carrying someone else. Its Ash, the android who almost got Ripley killed in the first Alien film. He is carrying a half eaten corpse and speaks emotionlessly: "You are all food for our aliens. *holds up the corpse hes carrying* Ellen Ripley. That is the name of this half eaten corpse. Just another expendable asset." Kirito yells: "Okay but why the hell are you talking to us all of the sudden?!" "Because I want you all to know that you are also expendable as a message to you from my new partners. *begins to teleport away* Goodb-" He is destroyed before he could leave. Irina speaks: "Theres no way we could have let that android stay alive." The actual Ellen Ripley nods, having just appeared herself: "That bastard is lying! *blows on her gun* Anyone else want to come out of the damn ship?!" The xenomorphs go back into a frenzy. One of them breaks their teeth on my armor while trying to eat my head right off. I have no idea how we're supposed to get through dealing with all of these damn xenomorphs now that theyve been genetically upgraded to be far more physically tougher than they were just about 6 months ago.. I find myself fighting them off alongside some of my mii friends and Animal Crossing friends. Brewster keeps producing massive coffee cups to throw at the aliens with magic and says while watching them continue to fail: "This is not going well. Coo.. I have to change my approach." Curly the jock pink pig yells: "Come on! Why arent my buff muscles doing a thing against these things?!"
Considering the fact that not even Hugh was cowering, you can tell theyve all been through a lot of fighting and training. But then, just when things seemed hopeless, someone got really REALLY MAD. He wasnt even physically present up to now because of where he was. "GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRIGGERING THE ALARM THIS TIME?!" Hugh exclaims: "Hey, isnt that.." Mr. Resetti burrows to the surface and I don't think anyone has ever seen him so angry before. "DID SOMEONE JUST RESET?! *looks around* WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?! *looks at some kind of device* ...SO THATS WHATS GOING ON.. This is not a reset.. THIS IS SO MUCH WORSE THAN A RESET! *sees the xenomorphs crushing trees, buildings, and everything else while trying to eat us all or otherwise try to attack us* THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS! ..Now that my limiting condition has finally been cured thanks to advanced science.. I WILL HOLD NOTHING BACK!" Resetti gets out of the ground and creates a dirt mound to stand on and gives the xenomorphs what for: "LISTEN HERE, YOU TOWN DESTROYING CREATURES, I WONT STAND FOR WHAT YOURE TRYING TO DO OR WHAT THOSE WHO BROUGHT YOU HERE HAVE DONE TO THIS WORLD. ..I will yell as much as I want to now. YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST DESTROY AND CONSUME EVERYTHING?! THATS LIKE A RESET BUT 50 TIMES WORSE! AND I.. HATE RESETTING! I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT FOR! RWWWWARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!" We are witness to a moment of sheer perfection.
He easily kills a xenomorph in a single hit. "ALL THESE YEARS OF HAVING TO HOLD IN MY ANGER, DEALING WITH SO MANY PLAYERS RESEEEETTTTTTTIIIIIINNNNGGGGGGGG AND HAVING TO TAKE IT EASY AND STOP MYSELF FROM YELLING LIKE THIS! AND JUST WHEN I FINALLY RETIRE AND GET A NEW GIG, I START SEEING THIS TOWN GET ATTACKED AGAIN AND AGAIN AND HAVE BEEN FORCED TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME BACK IN THE GOOD OLD SURVEILLANCE CENTER! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA JUST HOW MANY TUNNELS IVE HAD TO DIG AND HOW MUCH IVE TRAINED THE PAST FEW YEARS BECAUSE OF ALL THE VILLAINS WHO KEEP SHOWING UP TRYING TO WRECK EVERYTHING?! NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME AND YOU LISTEN TO ME GOOD, ENEMIES OF THE INNOCENT! *continues to instantly kill xenomorph after xenomorph while yelling* ARE YOU LISTENING OR DO I HAVE TO FIND YOU VILLAINS AND RECONSTRUCT YOUR EARS JUST SO YOU CAN HEAR ME?! I HAVE LEARNED TO FINALLY RELAX DUE TO RETIRING FROM MONITORING RESETTING BUT NOW THAT THE MULTIVERSE IS CONSTANTLY IN DANGER, I JUST HAVE TO KEEP MONITORING IT ALL NOW SO I GUESS I GOT OUT OF RETIREMENT A MERE COUPLE OF YEARS AGO! *breathes heavily* FEEL ALL THE RAGE I HAVE LOCKED UP OVER THE YEARS! ALL OF THESE ANNOYING ALIENS ARE GOING TO PERISH NOW AND ITS YOUR FAULT THEY CAME HERE TO BEGIN WITH!
HOW DARE THE LIKES OF YOU TERRORIZE THE INNOCENT ALL THE TIME! WITH HOW MUCH YOU SEEK TO DESTROY, ITS LIKE.. *kills several xenomorphs in under a second* YOU WANT TO RESET EVERY HABITABLE WORLD INTO WASTELANDS! IM NOT DONE SPEAKING! ..WHAT YOURE DOING CAN TRULY BE CLASSIFIED AS REEEEEEEEEESEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGG! ONCE AGAIN, ALL THE TIME I SPENT LEARNING TO RELAX HAS GONE OUT THE WINDOW, THANKS A LOT FOR THAT!" He continues on with the longest speech any of us have ever heard from him up to even after he killed every last xenomorph by himself. Resetti yells at our foes about other things like many of their reigns or attempted reigns of tyranny over others and how twisted and inhumane capitalism is among other things. And not once does he really run out of steam. He has things to say and he wont be quiet until he says them all in as much detail as possible. In fact, with the xenomorphs all dead, he starts throw their corpses into the sky to make all the enemy air and spacecrafts come crashing down. In no time, the skies over Fun Land were clear once again and there were a lot of crash sites all over the place. Resetti yells about said crash sites too and just keeps on yelling. You can credit all of this to advanced scientific devices as well as medical advances avaliable to our collective.
He no longer has to restrain his own yelling. With the skies cleared, the action seemed to die down except many of our comrades were now fighting the enemy forces on the beaches and the train tracks that run through Fun Land. Hugh breathes: "At least things have calmed down around here.. I really need a snack and to go back to bed, Wild Side!." I reply: "Its not over yet, not by a long shot. The villains and most of their forces are still out there and this world is still under their occupation." But before any of us could go anywhere(by this point, most of our comrades have spread out across the world to help liberate it so only a small fraction of us all were still in the town plaza), Resetti yells: "LOOK OUT!" A suddenly explosion nearly ends us all but I pull out my shield to help block its power somewhat. When I look behind me briefly, I notice that only Fun Land residents and my most treasured loved ones are present in this plaza at the moment. It appears the villains may have spread out across the world to have more fun. It doesnt help that in this version of the Animal Crossing world, the apocalypse happened years ago and now, anthro animals have replaced humans as the top species. We learned that through whatever recent history evidence the likes of Blathers could find around this planet over the past year or so. After looking behind, Im shocked along with the others as 4 figures emerge in the location the explosion began. They are not hiding their appearances at all. Tom Nook smiles: "Would any of you be interested in paying the interest you owe me today for what you did to me?
I accept payment in the form of my revenge." Redd chucks: "Hey all, you cuzs'! What do you say to me giving a deal on this brand new exclusive rare item known as pain and misery?! My prices are always fair, Im sure you can afford the item I am speaking of!" Gracie grins: "Hello everyone. I have come here to restart my fashion business by taking my revenge on you! Your fashion choices are so not worthy of Gracie approval that I have even more reason to kill all of you!" Isabelle yells: "Why does that other one remind me of.. me?!" "*evil chuckle* Oh, you know exactly who I am!" Dr. Shrunk looks back and forth between the two: "..Am I seeing double?!" I reply: "Yes but no. That over there is her.. Dark Princess Isabelle." DPI laughs: "Thats right! Im back with my own body and everything! And I am here to get revenge for all the times Ive been defeated in the past! All of you who resist us are such fools, so stuck in the clouds with your dreams and fantasies!" Resetti yells: "NOW I WILL SPEAK AND DO I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TO EACH OF YOU! NOOK, YOU- YOU- YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" He is cut off due to being attacked by all 4 villains. DPI scoffs: "That was too easy. Only one of us is necessary to kill these fools who are so selfish they dont even realize how selfish they are! I would volunteer to do it myself but then, wed argue and even I hate arguments!" Nook smiles: "No worries, I'll take care of them very well with crippling debt!"
Now that is a threatening statement. Gracie nods: "I feel like I would be wasting my time by doing this myself. Im going to go to another location entirely now. I'll ignore the terrible fashion tastes I see around me for the time being." One element I hadnt mentioned before when it comes to Gracie is that she previously committed fraud. So there's that plus the absurd prices on her set of furniture and that sort of uptight complex going on with this version of her. Timmy and Tommy tried to reason with her in the past after she was kicked out of this town but she refused to listen. Redd chuckles: "See ya later, cuz. Bring the bodies when youre done, we can use them to help sell a mummy sarcophagus scam by putting their bodies inside of fake replicas! I cant believe I used to sell genuine artworks along with my fake ones in the past! Never again will I do something like that!" Seconds later, its just us and Tom Nook or as we like to call him, Evil Tom Nook because the Tom Nook on Harmony island and him used to be one person until something caused the splitting in two of Nook. This Tom Nook embodies the twistedness that was within Tom Nook all these years. He laughs really hard at us: "None of you appear afraid of me at all! And you honestly have hope that you can defeat me, dont you? Well, the renovations to your plans are complete and the cost of them will be a measly sum of YOUR SOULS AND LIVES! BUT I KNOW YOU WONT PAY SO ITS TIME FOR YOU TO FACE THE DEBT YOU ARE NOW RACKING UP! Thanks much! Crippling Debt!"
He summons incredibly huge and heavy bags of 100 bell coins that fall on us before any of us could react. The weight was so much that all of us were pinned down to the ground, unable to move a muscle. Nook pulls out a chair and sits down: "While your crippling debt eventually kills all of you, I will relax right here. Thanks so much for choosing the die in Fun Land option of all the activities you could have possibly done today! I could end your miseries right here but Im not going to. Please be sure to choose Nook Inc for all of your future experiences of pain and suffering in the future!" He just watches in delight as all of us, even Resetti struggle to escape the huge bags of bells. None of us could say a word, there was far too much pressure on us for any of our vocal chords to move at this point. Nothing much happened for several minutes until we somehow beat the odds and began to get free of the bags and help one another do so as well. Despite that, Nook didnt seem to mind that we managed to escape. For some reason, he even seems very much happy about the fact that we just escaped: "For escaping the way you just have, you are only going to be that much more fun to kill!" He attacks us more seriously this time with a bunch of what look like HHA decoration violation things which dont even exist in game. The attacks he has unleashed on us so far are just so much stranger than we could have possibly expected. Leif tries to fight back against him unleashing those attacks as well as other violation/business/debt/home/Nook Inc themed attacks he is now releasing in mind boggingly rapid succession.
Leif yells: "Nothing about this is truly happy at all! We have to stop you. You are too far gone and that makes me sad.. Im sure the plants are sad about this all as well.. I can almost feel that they are in fact sad.." Leif has learned how to control plants much like a dryad can. His care for plants coupled with him learning magic and how to fight physically in recent years has certainly caused him to become actually formidable in battle. But his moves prove useless even when he uses the most potent plant magic moves he has in his arsenal. Whats more is that all of us try our best to fight back too, to no avail. That's despite all of the moves I havent really seen that much being used by Fun Land residents against Nook. Sable uses thread mastery abilities that rival what Best Jeanist is able to do easily to try to even pierce Nook's body but it doesnt work at all. Instead, she is left disappointed while Nook just laughs at her failed attempts to counter his attacks effectively. KK Sliders channels the powers of the likes of Bards as well as magic fueled death metallers and other hardcore musicians through his acoustic guitar while singing pretty calmly and gently. Resetti chews Nook's ear off while attacking with all of his might. Isabelle throws books and attacks with anything she can find, including a severed xenomorph head. Hugh eats a lot of fruit and uses the massive surge in energy to pull a Stitch, teasing our foe, distracting him, and causing him to miss over and over again. Curly and Biff work together to hit Nook and his attacks with all kinds of sporting balls in an attempt to deal seriously heavy damage.
When that doesnt work, they outrun attacks and throw heavy weights at Nook with ease. Tiffany hits Nook's ego where it hurts before whacking him with a purse, dodging some of his attacks, and just embodying the negative aspects of her personality to really annoy our foe. Pinkie and Winnie, the fashionistas show off the assassination looks that literally kill outfits, forcing us all to pull out shades designed to keep us from dying by just looking at the clothesof death they just changed into in mere seconds. Harv throws explosive bird food onto Nook that explodes upon contact with him before sicking all his yellow bird friends on the twisted version of Tom Nook. But still. No real damage dealt. What is happening here?! Kyle and Hans, due to sharing the same personality do some pretty similar things such as annoying Nook by being cool and polite, Im not even sure how they pulled that off. But then, they started using martial arts with everyday objects enchanted by magic and other things as weapons on Nook to his confusion. This paved the way for Katt to sneak up behind Nook, scratch him up real good and try to bludgeon him with a rock guitar. Mabel distracted Nook with "excellent customer service", allowing Label to come in and cover him with things she has designed herself while also pulling out a variety of weapons to attack him with.
No one expects Label to be carrying deadly weapons around all the time nowadays, especially now that she usually is just traveling the world, bringing her designs to far off places all over it. The gyroid, Lloid contributes by vomiting lots of bells to obscure Nook's vision before unleashing something almost no one saw coming: "FUS RO DAH!" Since when did Lloid raid dungeons in Skyrim? Lloid normally doesnt even have actual arms or legs. Digby does something unexpected too. He picks up model homes from the Happy Home Showcase behind the shopping district of Fun Land and throws them at Nook, forcing him to get more serious when it comes to dealing with us. Because of this, we got a chance to take a breather and attempt to make a plan to ensure his defeat at our hands. The sheer randomness of what the Fun Land residents have been doing to fight Nook is something else or would be in my perspective if I hadnt already seen most of these moves off screen in past battles. Ive actually fought alongside each of them a bunch of times up to now so almost everything but Lloid's Unrelenting Force/Fus Ro Dah shout was actually nothing new to me. Phyllis refuses to join in on the planning and just starts yelling at Nook to get all of her stress off her chest and tell him precisely how she feels about him. When Digby runs out of model homes to throw with whatever magic hes using to do it, she goes in and gets right up in Nook's face before pounding him into the ground with punch after punch.
She clearly learned how to render an opponent immobile most effectively. Not giving them a moment to react and just getting the hit in first is key to doing so and that's exactly what she has done here. Nook ends up knocking her out but she didnt make it easy for him. Upon her being knocked out, Pelly and Pete decided to work together. Pelly faked a surrender on behalf of all of us out of nowhere by using her kind charm while Pete snuck up on Nook from behind, stabbing him, and then wildly flying around in the sky while using a device that shoots burning infected mail at a target. It does some damage to Nook but not much and the two find themselves knocked away by another burst of attacks from Nook. Harriet in the meanwhile has snuck up on Nook herself and pins him to the ground while giving his entire face and head a makeover too fast for him to respond to at all. Thus, he was unable to get her off him and actually screamed in rage and pain as she did her work in the most damaging way possible. By the time he finally got her off of him, the top of his head was bleeding. Its a really good thing Harriet is still on our side and does a lot of non harmful makeovers outside of battle just as she has done in the past over the years since her introduction into the Animal Crossing series. Timmy and Tommy tickle our foe as soon as Harriet was knocked away while Kicks throws shoes at him. But again, Nook easily dispatches them only to be atracked again.
This time, Deirdre is the one attacking and she constantly bothers our foe by talking to him about completely random things while using magic against him and other things. Just as shes sent away, Lyle comes in and bashes him over and over with his clipboard right as Kapp'n reappears after slipping away unnoticed to row his boat on land really fast in order to knock Nook over, cause him to fall into the boat, and hit the guy over and over again with his paddles while singing. Lyle jumped out of the way just in time, of course. Porter then appears and gets into that boat solely to scream in Nook's face. I guess theyre trying to pull a sensory overload on him at this point because they still arent done. Those of them who have been knocked away or otherwise are preparing to strike again when the time is right along with most of the rest of us. Nook yells: "Why cant you all stop being SO LOUD AND DISRUPTIVE?! ALL OF YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS WITH YOUR BLOOD, NOT YOUR BELLS OR NOOK MILES!" He suddenly exits the boat by teleporting somehow and fires dark energy at Lyle, Kapp'n, and Porter only to be hit by a sleeping spell from behind by Luna of the Dream Suite. While he sleeps, we end up setting up traps around him and trying to plan our next moves once again. Bray speaks in the midst of this: "The battle across this world isnt going well.
Each of the villains has separated to attack some of our comrades each. We are fortunate that most of our collective as well as allies were available to fight here today and that we went through so many hours of training over the past month. But no one is having much better luck than we are." I add: "Im also updated on the situation. Our divine comrades appear to be encountering obstacles just for them that are proving to block their abilities somehow. Damn. Our enemies thought all of this through like never before. They even split up, knowing we would have to split up to stop them as a result. But there was no better option. If we didnt, the villains would have free reign to cause whatever oppression or destruction they wanted to with no one around able or willing to stop them." But Nook wakes up sooner than we expected and buries us all in a mountain of bells. We all teleport out of it only for him to blast us all with supercharged and thick debt papers before unleashing a extremely rapid succession of attacks that didnt give us any time to really think or react. But Katrina was ready: "Bad times are just times that are bad. *chanting* Tom Nook, I see your future clearly today. This is not a lucky day for you despite you likely believing the contrary. Your lucky item is.. Starry Night. And you will not find that painting anywhere in town. You will have to travel far to find it. I will not share what you must be wary of for you will not take my warnings seriously."
She then chants again and adds: "..I have been deceiving you. For the next few minutes, your fate is under my control. Behold, a secret technique I have honed over 12 years. Prepare yourself for you cannot resist fate." This drains a lot of her mana but she isnt deterred at all. Instead, she doubles down and makes the next few minutes as miserable and difficult for our foe as possible. The things she has done to him are too numerous to list out in full. They include making his aim really bad, inflicting him with a headache, stinging him with several swarms of angry bees, and having him fall into several hidden pitfalls that appeared out of nowhere. While he was unable to control himself very well, some others prepared to get him as well. Right as Katrina lost her control over Nook, Shrunk was ready. He goes in and starts making fun of Nook, even telling him that the Tom Nook on Harmony is better than him because he actually has a mostly intact moral compass. Ouch. But the comedy is only a distraction for he attempts assassination techniques on our foe in a very lowkey way. He doesnt succeed but he does pave the way for Blathers to use magic to bring all the dinosaur skeletons on display in the museum to life. "Did you know that there are even more dinosaurs that used to exist than we have on display in the museum?!"
Nook laughs: "And what does that have to do with.. whatever it is youre-" He is headbutt by the T-Rex skeleton and is sent flying. Powerless to stop the rampage of the dinosaur skeletons, Nook is left to just be hit over and over again. Too many attacking dinosaurs for him to really comprehend what was really going on anymore. When he managed to destroy all of the skeletons to the horror of Blathers, Celeste hits him by directing shooting stars from across the world's sky to come here and hit our enemy one after another. And he was helpless against them and left dizzy and confused when the last shooting star hit him. Celeste sighs: "We have him again but for how much longer?" Don Resetti, Resetti's brother pitches in himself by hitting Nook with a toy hammer over and over again like he was playing Whack A Mole only to be blasted away once our foe recovered. Brewster steps up and covers him with a lot of well brewed hot coffee: "Coo.. A shame for so much coffee to go to waste." Thus, he screams in pain from how scalding and hot the coffee is. This means he is currently unable to respond to anything else and is desperately trying to counter the coffee on him with something cold. Fun Land may currently be in wintertime and covered in snow but not even the cold was enough to help Nook in this case. With him focused on cooling the coffee on him, we began to attack him at once using the Switch technique as we ended up planning to do earlier.
I forgot to mention. Before Lyle bashed Nook with his clipboard, my ACNL player character dumped their inventory on top of Nook to damage him in a rather unusual way. When its my turn to go help with the Switch chain, I yell: "Everyone, dont forget to put your all into a single move! HAAAAAAAAA! I will exert as much as I can into this one move! True Shadow Hurricane!" I made my muscles burn with how much extra effort I put into my attack before yelling: "Blathers! Switch!" And from there, Blathers did what he had to do and reanimated the destroyed dinosaur skeletons in order to fix them and then merge them temporarily using Polymerization into the ultimate dinosaur skeleton. A titan that did a huge number on Nook. But by the time all of us had helped with the Switch, we realized that our foe was still far from done. He laughs: "Thanks much for inadvertently getting most of that hot coffee off of me! Now, its my turn!" But then, something strange happened. Im not sure what happened but Tom Nook was just kind of defeated in the blink of an eye and to this day, none of us can explain what even happened. We dont know who did it or anything. Isabelle speaks: "What just happened?!" Phyllis shrugs: "I dont know but he did get what was coming to him in the end. Just look at him. Hes still alive but hes not-" Tom Nook recovers somehow and laughs again: "Im not done but all of you will be very soon! Im getting tired of dealing with all of you! Prepare to-"
He is cut off as the Tom Nook who resides in Harmony appears and pins him to the ground. Evil Nook yells: "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" He is more powerful than his counterpart but his counterpart is using his body weight to help keep him pinned to the ground. Tom Nook replies: "It is time the two of us finally settle things, hmm?" "You... YOU-" Our foe is pinned down even more. Tom Nook turns to us while staying on Evil Nook: "I need everyone's assistance to finish him off. Try to unleash attacks aimed toward his head. I'll keep him right here, unable to-" He is cut off as Dark Princess Isabelle reappears and blasts him. "It appears you are too weak, Nook. I'll help you from here. Lets slaughter these fools together!" Evil Nook grins as he gets back up and puts a knife to Tom Nook's neck: "I'll ignore your insult of me as long as my weaker half dies by my hands today!" DPI chuckles: "Have it your way. Do what you wish! *turns to us* Now to deal with all of-" She is suddenly pierced by a rainbow feather. A peacock appears and dances around while walking: "Pavė is now here to bring the spirit of Festivale and to stand in the way of the enemy." That distraction allows the fastest of us such as myself to stop Evil Nook from killing Tom Nook. Evil Nook was quickly overwhelmed by our teamwork.
I yell: "HAAAAAAAA! You arent hurting him, we wont let you!" I keep him unable to get his bearings through my constant sword techniques. He manages to avoid them all but that only leaves him open to the moves the others are making. Within a minute, we have him pinned down all over again while the others deal with DPI. Carlos says: "We need to hurry up with this Evil Nook! That annoying DPI is winning against our friends right now!" I nod: "Youre right! We dont have much time to finish this but we lack the combined strength to end Evil Nook for good or even seal him away! What are we even supposed to- No. We can finish him off. We just have to use the right technique or techniques and quickly." We decide on a piercing approach. By concentrating our efforts on a very specific part of our enemy's body, we can make it open right up and bleed heavily. Bray speaks: "I know where we must pierce him." Any of us not using a melee weapon at the moment switches to one in seconds. Bray makes the first attempt to break through part of Evil Nook. After a couple minutes and a lot of frustration and effort, we manage to succeed at getting inside of him. And when we do, it becomes easier to widen the hole we have made into him by using the inside of him in a way. This is what happens when the likes of Evil Nook get a serious toughness upgrade to their bodies. We have to try much harder to cause a break in the flesh if it proves to be necessary.
Once the hole is big enough, we dont just let him bleed to death. We poke around for his organs in order to put him out of his misery as soon as possible. A gross and gruesome way to kill an enemy who will not stop trying to slaughter others and can never be reformed. But a sadly necessary way at that. Tom Nook sighs: "That was not pleasant to watch.. But thank you for saving my life.." I reply: "Of course." "Im much too weak to really intervene in this, Im sorry to say. I will return to Harmony to help resist the enemy forces that have occupied it now. I will see all of you again when all of this is over." He teleports away just like that and we rejoin the others in order to help them fight off Dark Princess Isabelle only to find them struggling to survive as she toys with and tortures them.. "Thats right, fools. You are far too weak to resist me now. All of you are going to die but not before I get my revenge by hurting all of you as much as I can." She was about to say something else but ends up noticing us so she instead says: "And would you look at that, almost everyone I seek revenge against is all here now again! *laughs* You are too late! Your friends are at my mercy! And now that I have new powers, abilities, and attacks, theres nothing you can do to stop me! You weaklings were never a match for me, not even for a second! Im going to enjoy making all of you suffer for what many of you have done to me in the past!" Bray replies: "We shall see about that. Ultimate Tower Of Flame!" "HAAAAAAAAA!" (I attack with Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 150) "Hehehe! Now you see me! Now you dont!" "Snack time! *eats more foods* Now Im ready! *yawns* I just want to sleep though!"
Austin just screams death metal style right at our foe. "Awoo! *stops time* Rapid Aging! Time Break Slash!" But none of our attacks do that much to Dark Princess Isabelle. Instead, she just laughs at us for failing to deal very much damage to her: "You never stood a chance against my power! Do you have any idea of whats happening across this world?! We are slaughtering anyone who gets in our way or still lives on this planet! Every last little villager will be dead before you know it! All your precious islands, towns, cities, and more are being wiped out! Soon, this world will just be a world primed for resource extraction as well as with a lot of beachfront property for sale! Anyone not part of our side currently on this planet will die! It doesnt matter what ultimately happens to this world, we will strip it for spare parts after all! Everything will be destroyed to pave the way for the achievement of all of our dreams such as getting revenge!" We try to attack her again but she kills several Fun Land residents effortlessly: "Stop right there or I will kill the rest of your friends I have captive, powerless to even fight back any longee! I have evolved greater from how I once was when the Supreme Dark Lord transformed me into a dark princess! Back then, I was far too weak to be much help for him for very long. But now, I will build my own kingdom on the ruins of this world once we have stripped it bare! And none of you are able to stop me now that Ive become so powerful! Watch and see what I mean! I havent even been using my full power on you! *manifests several dark energies* Go, Artificial Barian Battlemorph!"
The villain transforms and laughs once again: "Oh and did you know that your other friends fighting us across the world arent doing so great either?! I only returned here when I did because some of them just wouldnt die for a while! But they still werent strong enough to beat me and I killed them all in the end! The looks on their faces were truly priceless! It was hilarious to think they believed they even stood a slim chance against me! All those Ninjago inhabiants and bladers.. I delighted in killing every single one of them! And with all of us on this planet at once, your precious BRAINS Collective is doomed to fall but this time, for real and for good! *laughs for 10 entire seconds* Now then, lets play! I think I'll keep your friends alive and let you try to kill me. That way, as they slowly die from the injuries I inflicted on them, they will watch in horror as you suffer greatly while trying to end my life just as they did! This is a most perfect revenge!" She attacks us with a massive AoE dark magic attack, knocking us back and causing us to fall to the ground. We get back up and get focused and serious. We dont have time to plan any counters or offensives against her here. Isabelle speaks: "This is my fault.. If I had never let myself fall for the SDL's trickery.." Brewster replies: "Coo.. Dont blame yourself. None of this is your fault, it never was and never will be."
A weakened Leif speaks while trying to attack DPI again: "We arent finished yet.. I will fight for all the happy little plants and my friends as long as I still draw breath filled with oxygen that comes from the happy little plants." DPI chuckles: "You still wish to fight me even after I tortured you and put you on the verge of death?! Even knowing that your friends who have spread out across the globe arent doing well either?! That is more amusing than anything I have ever seen or heard before! You weak fools should have never come here or tried ro resist us! You were all doomed the moment Gorganan and The Shadow helped pave the way for all of this to eventually occur! Thats right! We know all about that along with Pmurt Nedib, Don Thousand, and everything else! But Im sure you already knew that, didnt you?!" We try to coordinate our moves to attack her most effectively but all of our moves are quickly rendered useless. She stops all of our attacks like it was nothing. Dominic yells: "Nap causation! I cant think of any possible solution to the conundrum that is this fight!" Thats not a good sign. I sigh: "Damn. The only real option I see right now is fighting back to the end while trying to come up with anything that will work.. Regnes and the other members of my deck are currently engaged in their own fight somewhere else in this world..
Otherwise, I would have summoned some of them to help us by now.. If fighting back is our only option, we have to drag this out as long as possible to protect our other comrades and buy time for ourselves to come up with anything at all.." Out of nowhere, two Fun Land residents we forgot about join us. Reese speaks: "It looks like its time to try to do some recycling around here." Cyrus adds: "This should be even more engaging than crafting and customizing furniture." Pavė speaks up: "Pavė is expecting others to appear as well." Before DPI could become serious and just really begin to slaughter us all, other special characters appeared just like that. Jingle smiles: "Dont forget about us. It took us too long to get ready to help you but we're finally here now." Jack adds: "*calls out DPI* I hope youre ready for the scare known as complete and utter defeat!" Dark Princess Isabelle laughs: "It doesn't matter how many of you there are! All of you are going to die here! Fight me all you want but it's only going to prolong your agony!" She doesnt even fight to counterattack when we all go at her in waves of attacks. She just laughs at us again and again while our attacks prove futile again and again. A almost dead Mabel yells: "This cant be it! There has to be a way! *coughs up blood*" Jingle frowns: "The harmony of our world has been shattered.. Nearly all of the joy is gone.. This isnt how its supposed to be.. The spirit of our world is dying.."
Some of us use healing magic to save those of us who are dying from certain death. At least that worked but it doesnt make us feel much better. DPI taps her feet: "You are all wasting my time! Im done toying with you now. Its time to make you all suffer for real! Once Im through with all of you, I will finally move on to kill more of your friends! You have taken up too much of my time! Its time for me to get my revenge!" She effortlessly kills more of us before moving around quickly to attack the rest of us with so many attacks that none of us really knew what was going on anymore. Part of my armor is pierced through, allowing her to hurt me badly with ease due to her terrifying power level. Within seconds, most of us are on the ground heavily injured. Despite how strong my armor is, Im among them. I get back up and resume fighting her because Im still undead after quicly healing some of the others with basic healing magic. But my efforts to help those who can still fight were very much in vain. Every single thing we tried on her failed to do much if anything at all. We were able to pin down Evil Nook but it wont be so simple to try that on DPI. She feels more powerful than he was. We keep fighting even though we're clearly losing, no other choice. If the enemy has won and is going to kill you, you might as well go down fighting. The saying "go out with a bang" will always ring true from time to time like at this very moment. If an oppressor is bound to win, you should still fight in order to try to mess them up and make it take longer for them to win.
Conceding to the enemy and just going along with whatever they want by choosing to collaborate with them makes you a traitor to your cause. You become an enemy of the side you supposedly have been fighting for. I scream as myself and the others hold the line. We dont give in, even if our efforts to fight back are doomed to end in failure. Giving up and just letting the enemy walk over you is cowardly. DPI gets annoyed: "Why dont any of you just stop and give up already?! You know youre going to lose so stop trying to beat me!" Tiffany shakes her head: "Not happening! You dont get it. Hmph! I'll show you why we still fight!" She gains an extra burst of strength to use against our foe. Resetti yells: "ARRRRRRGGGGGGG! NOT EVEN MY ATTACKS HAVE BEEN DOING MUCH BUT IM NOT GOING TO STOP HERE EITHER! NOT AS LONG I HAVE SOMETHING TO LECTURE SOMEONE ABOUT! LIKE YOU, DARK PRINCESS ISABELLE! HOW SHOULD I START GIVING YOU A PIECE OF MY MIND?! ..YOU BETTER BE LISTENING WITH OPEN EARS OR YOULL BE SORRY!" I say as Resetti rants on and on: "It may seem pointless to fight an enemy poised to defeat you but if retreat is not a wise or viable option like in our situation, its the only thing really left to do! And we.. WE HAVE HOPE, DAMN IT. But thats not all! WE CONSTANTLY TRY TO BE SYMBOLS OF HOPE FOR OTHERS! This is the way! This is the damn way! If your efforts are doomed but your cause might not be, all of this especially holds true! A cause doesnt end JUST BECAUSE THOSE ON THE FRONTLINES ARE SLAUGHTERED AND WIPED OUT!
As long as someone is willing to fight for it, a cause isnt dead just yet! You bastards can kill as many of us as you want but our cause doesnt end with us! No. As long as someone believes in it, it continues! But no one can carry a cause on just their shoulders alone! Thats too much even for the strongest individuals out there! The burden of a cause must be on a community of those who believe in the cause and will fight for it!" We arent going to give up for a single moment. We refuse to let up. We have given up at times in the past and its never been pleasant. This isn't pleasant either but fighting with no chance of victory is better than giving up even though both lead to great amounts of pain and suffering. We arent going to stop here. Dark Princess Isabelle only gets more annoyed as we refuse to surrender despite the fact shes killing more and more of us overtime. If we had just surrendered, she would have killed us all anyway(except for me since Ive been stuck as a zombie for so long). But by doing this, we waste her time and energy and get a chance to possibly pull an upset due to still having a lot of resources on hand to prolong our resistance efforts. After some more time, myself and pthers cme to realize that theres still a lot we can do that we havent done yet. In order to increase our odds of making it out of this intact, we have set aside our grieving for our fallen comrades for another time. Right now, we just gotta do what we gotta do. We'll revive our comrades once this finally ends or we'll spectacularly fail and be wiped out while holding out as long as possible along with our comrades fighting across this world.
It is a immense challenge and burden to do this and many of us are afraid but we're still going to do this anyway even if its hard on us physically, mentally, and emotionally. At the very least, we have trained to counter so many possible moves our foes could make over the past years. That has allowed us to spend less time reacting to them and more time responding to them with actions. My comrades and I just keep on supporting each other with anything we need despite all of the damage being done to us. "JUST GIVE UP AND DIE ALREADY!" Hugh shakes his head: "No!" Pinkie adds: "Im too stylish to surrender to the likes of you! I followed my dream and became recognized in the fashion world! I can keep this up! In fact, we can all keep going!" "Absurd! How can you still fight while knowing that youre going to lose?!" I reply: "Because we can still fight back and keep you from hurting anyone else at the time being! Your power is mind blowing, nothing any of us have done has really worked against you but we cant help but keep fighting! Because we arent just fighting for ourselves.. WE'RE FIGHTING FOR EVERYONE! The longer we hold the likes of you up, the better anyone currently or at least willing to fight you can do so if it comes down to that! We have failed so many times in this and many other battles.
We fail and we fail and yet oftentimes, we eventually find a way to succeed and put an end to a battle with us emerging as the victor or at least tying or retreating successfully. This isn't about honor, this is about slowing you down!" We only annoy her more and more to the point she blasts us away with a single blast filled with as much power as possible. Some of us die but the rest of us regroup and keep on fighting back, assisting one another if and when we can/need to. My armor gets repaired with magic multiple times over. We use unconventional techniques to fight back as well as use every possible thing we have to fight back but nothing works. Not even my sword after I fully powered up myself along with it does a thing besides helping lengthen our struggle against Dark Princess Isabelle. Its just a seemingly endless drawn out fight where neither side is willing to budge. Our foe is only more and more annoyed and shocked as time goes on. We just wont let up. We are holding onto hope that there may be a way to turn things around by doing all that we can to keep her from ending all of us. My Artist's Eye conjurations help a lot but prove as futile as everything else we've tried. What will it take? The fact that we've lasted so long is amazing when in the past, many similar efforts have been ended much faster by the enemy. It must be because we can better focus on one another with so few of us remaining along with DPI's increasing impatience and annoyance as well as all of the recent intense training and sparring we've done. We are finally beginning to see that we've grown a lot in the past month or so.
"I HAVE NO MORE WORDS FOR YOU FOOLS, YOU JUST DONT STOP FIGHTING BAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKKK!" She is at the breaking point. And while we're running out of potions and other vital supplies, we're still going strong despite all of the odds against us. Its hard to believe that we have managed to pull off this kind of resistance for as long as we have been able to do so. Its been at least an hour since Evil Nook's death and yet here we are, still holding on. It helps Bray erected a huge healing spell to heal most of us constantly for some time. But I had to avoid but because it would harm my undead body if I even took a small step inside of it. Our coordination and teamwork was spot on, we knew one another's capabilities like the backs of our hands. My muscles had been seriously out through the ringer but because I was using both my arm and leg muscles to attack and defend, the burden was spread out more, causing my muscles to be sore less frequently as a whole. We still have much left in us. More time passes, several more of us die, making our situation that much more dire. "HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA! Theres almost none of you left now! You wont survive! You have wasted so much of my time that completing my revenge will be just that more appetizing! *points to me and Bray* I have been waiting so long to get my revenge on the likes of you two! And now, its almost finally at-"
She suddenly collapses to the ground and pants heavily: "IMPOSSIBLE! All of my stamina and mana.. ITS ALL GOOOOOOONNNNNEEEE!" Somehow, we drained Dark Princess Isabelle immensely. We were so focused on resistng her and supporting one another that not all of us noticed her exhaustion. We must have tried hundreds of techniques against her including lightning fast dodging, Instant Transmission, and combining our efforts into combination attacks. Only about 8 of us are still alive. Isabelle speaks: "I dont know what to say.. This is.." The rest of us have really no words either. I speak up: "Lets just finish our foe off before she can somehow regain all that we drained her of. This fight has taken such a long time." We pull out our BRAIN Blasters and use them on DPI. Earlier, this method didnt work but now, it is causing her to take a lot of physical damage as parts of her body get disintegrated. Shes still too powerful for the blasters to just instantly disintegrate her entire body. We have to try harder. We're exhausted ourselves but not as exhausted as our foe is. Bray sighs: "We must revive our comrades as soon as possible after this is finished.." Several minutes later, due to being so drained, DPI is killed by our efforts. The only thing that slowed us down was her transformed body's toughness. But we managed to get through it after a couple minutes.
We briefly leave the world with the bodies of our fallen comrades to bring them back while we still can and resupply ourselves while we were at it. We immediately return to Fun Land as soon as all of that is done, feeling at least somewhat recharged and ready to go a few more rounds at minimum. We also took the bodies of our defeated foes with us and sealed them away inside high tech pods onboard the space station equipped with anti-magic things to prevent any surprise returns from the dead. But just as we come back, we see destruction engulf the entirety of Fun Land, destroying everything it in and flattening it in the process. Winnie cries: "Our home! Its all.. GONE!" A familiar voice replies: "Thats right, darlings. This hideous excuse of a town to live in has been demolished and soon, your bones will join whats left of it." Its.. Gracie.. Like I said before, attempts have been made to reason with her after she was kicked out of Fun Land, even offers to help her improve herself but she refused them all. She grins: "Ready to be obliterated? Just looking at all of you and your horrible fashion statements makes me gag! Since those two failed, its up to me to bury you all!" To be continued..
