What if Vi wasn't human, and consciously neither was Jinx? What if they had a blood line that was thought to be instinct. One that descended from Darkness?

What if said bloodline was locked? What if Vi unlocked it in Stillwater? What if she learned to control it in that concrete cell? What if she bound herself to Caitlyn in an effort to stay in control of herself? What if that's the reason behind Jinx's behavior and actions? And shimmer only enhanced its effects.

This is that what if.

Long after the events of the seven deadly sins, and the events of the four knights of the apocalypse. The demon realm retreated back into the underworld, and the goddess race stayed within theirs. Meliodas and Elizabeth died and never returned, leaving behind a son, who would eventually result in a family that would lead all the way to Vi and Powder. Their mother being the last of the blood line of the darkness and the light. Leaving behind two daughters that were close to reawakening the demon's blood that laid dormant with in their veins.

She lost control again and nearly killed the bastard that nearly killed her a few years ago, when everything went to hell, and she lost the majority of her family. She only realized it when she paused to take a breath and looked at her reflection in the metal plate used for their food and noticed her eyes were pitch black again and the black mark that sometimes showed up on her forehead was extending down to her mouth. That was when the guards pinned her to the ground and dragged her to solitary, again.

She sighed and sat against the wall. She's been losing control more often now. Her eyes flashed black when she was angry or upset. And her body was getting stronger without her realizing it. The hits she takes from fights, or the guards were starting to hurt less, and weren't bruising as they should. And whatever cuts or scrapes that she would get in the day were gone the next. And the last checkup that she had reviled a growth growing steadily in her upper body, they said it wasn't cancer, but they had no idea what it was, nor did they care beyond the fact that they might have to bury her body soon. She didn't feel sick, in fact she felt stronger than ever, almost as if her blood was moving faster than it should.

She had more energy then she should have by the end of the day and when allowed into the training yard she could go longer then any of the other inmates, her muscles were burning less and less each day, and no matter how harsh she makes her training be, she feels as good as when she started, she already hit the max weight limit on the all of the equipment. And it was frustrating that she couldn't go higher. She hit a wall she couldn't break through due to the limited equipment. And now she was in solitary and couldn't do anything other than punch a wall for the next few days, at least until the guards came to beat her, or try to, their hits were starting to be felt less and less. Now they felt more like a kid trying to punch her through padding.

She sighed again, 'may as well past the time.' She stood up and turned to the wall, it was familiar, as she's been tossed in here, in this specific room more than once. The indents form her fist were formed long ago, and now cracks were starting to form, she wondered if she'd eventually break into the next room. 'Wonder how I'd be rewarded for that' she thought to herself.

As she was starting to get into a rhythm she heard footsteps coming towards her cell, they were soft, and not as loud as guards were, they sounded smaller as well, 'a female guard? That's new.' She kept punching the wall, making her cell shake and quiver. Dust fell onto her, but she just kept punching. She kept track of the footsteps until they stopped, and she could hear breathing from outside her cell. Vi stopped her assault on the wall and turned her head to see a rather pretty blue hair girl with very pretty blue eyes that almost looked like a pair of sapphires that she tried to steal in her youth, one who was only a little younger than her, she could smell the nervousness from her.

"Who the hell are you?" Vi asked, confused, it wasn't time for a beating yet, unless they wanted to get it in before dinner, and she'd never had a female guard down here with her, female guards were rare and never stayed long.

The enforcer didn't answer her, they never did when she asked for a name. She made a statement, something about her attacking another inmate. She gave a sarcastic remark on why she wouldn't, they traded barbs back and forth before the enforcer showed her a picture after she mentioned Silco and asked if the other inmate worked for him. Vi said that they all did. She hadn't turned around yet, and the enforcer asked if this meant anything to her, Vi scoffed and rolled her eyes before turning to look at what was being shown to her, and noticed a picture of a drawn monkey head, one that sent chills down her spine and forced memories from her childhood into her head. Vi launched herself at the bars keeping her inside the cell and gripped then tightly, denting them slightly in the process, "where did you get that?" Vi asked hope slowly spreading through her.

"My question first, he worked for Silco?" the blue haired enforcer asked.

"They all do, now where did you get that" Vi asked, nodding to the photo on the book.

"An attack at the docks earlier today, this is evidence, I'm going to need proof that this was Silco." The enforcer said as she closed the book and held it close to her chest.

Vi huffed and lowered her head slightly and raised her slowly darkening eyes to look back into those blue ones and took a deep breath to calm down. "I can get you proof, just not for in here." Vi said and looked back down already knowing the response.

"In what insane world would I help you?" the enforcer asked looking put off at the very idea of helping her.

"You enforcers are all the same, nothing more then dressed up criminals, beating down on everyone else." Vi snarled before turning away and began to pace, she could feel her control slipping and the last thing she wants right now is to attack Somone who while rude and was an enforcer did nothing to her. The enforcer scoffed and began to walk away muttering that she'd find Silco herself. "Good luck with that," Vi called out, "the undercity will eat you alive and spit you back out." The enforcer stopped for a moment then resumed walking towards the exit. Vi looked down at her hands before turning back to the dented wall and resumed punching it to pass the time.

An hour passed before she heard the distinctive metallic ding of a metal cane striking the floor and sighed. 'Here comes the beating.' And turned to face the wall opposite the door. Hoping that they'd be quick and leave her to her thoughts. She heard the rattling of keys and stiffened her back to brace for the blow, only it never came, the sound of the metal cane retreated, and faded into the back ground. Confused Vi turned around and looked at the enforcer who got her released. Said enforcer shook her head and walked away leaving Vi to follow her.

After collecting all of her things the enforcer led her outside where she was nearly blinded by the mid-day sun. the enforcer led her to some kind of transport that leads into the under city.

The enforcer showed back up with two tickets indicating that they were to use the transport saying that it would be a good way to get the lay of the land. Vi was standing on the edge of a cliff that over looked the undercity and scoffed, "it's too open, Silco would be able to see us coming a mile away." And dropped down the ledge, flipping and sliding her way to the bottom of the alley. Vi landed at the bottom with out a scratch, and looked up and smirked, no way miss perfect would follow her down that way. Vi was about to continue her way through the alley when a couple of gang members stopped her. The male tried to intimate her drawing a knife. Vi just looked at the bored and spied the red jacket. "heh, nice jacket." The gangster looked confused for a moment when she punched his head, cracking it against the nearby wall. And letting him slide down. The other one tried to hit her head with a broken pipe, only for Vi to grab it and break her hand with it be for kicking her in the crotch, forcing her to kneel. Vi still holding the broken pipe broke it over the kneeling gangsters head. "a very nice jacket," Vi muttered to herself as she slipped it on. She looked at the other gangsters shirt and shrugged, taking it as well.

Vi looked up as she heard a few bangs, and a number of grunts as the enforcer followed her down, Vi raised an eyebrow, impressed as she didn't think an enforcer would follow her like that. The enforcer landed on her feet and rested against the wall and looked at an older man that was on the surface when they dropped down. "Here." Vi said as she tossed the stolen cloths at her.

The enforcer caught the cloths. "you could have killed me" she said in a huff.

"my little sister could do that at seven, all of us trenchers can. Why do you think that Stillwater wasn't as full as it could have been." Vi said as she passed her up, looking around before starting on another path. The enforcer followed as she raised her hood, hiding her hair. Vi did the same raising her hood and walking to an old friends shop. "Jericho! Old friend, boy am I glad to see your ugly mug." Jericho looked at vi confused before smiling and began talking excitedly in his own language. One that Vi understood perfectly. "yes, I'm glad to see you too, and yes, I did bust some heads, a lot of heads actually, cook up a number seven, would you?" Vi sat down at the bar, waiting for her order and the enforcer leaned on the open space next to her. Vi soon got her food and began eating. "man have I missed this, Jericho, you've gotten better since the last time I ate here?" Vi continued to eat and ignored that questions and prodding form the Enforcer next to her, "I'm here to ear, cuz I'm starving." Vi soon finished and Jericho took the bowl and placed a paper down Infront of her smiling sadly. [you'll find your answers here, and Vi, I'm sorry for what happened, if I knew what was happening…] "don't you worry about it Jericho, you've always been a friend." Vi forgiving whatever slight Jericho thought he may have done to her. [one the house for an old friend, yes?] "I owe you one Jerich." Vi said as she got up shoving the paper into her pocket. "common cupcake, we gotta go." Vi said as she made her way to the older part of the undercity, one that hasn't yet been filled with green lights and drugs.

"where are we going?" the enforcer asked her cheeks red as she followed Vi down the alley.

"to the one place that all secrets are shared. And to visit an old friend. One that would probably tried to bail me out before you did, if she knew I was alive." Vi said as she stopped Infront of a door and knocked.

A window opened as an eye looked out and Vi only looked them back in the eye. [what is it?] the man behind the door asked.

"guest for Babette, she'll want to see me, I'm an old friend." Vi responded as she held a stare down with the bouncer.

The bouncer sighed and opened the door, "all conflict Is to remain outside, should you start any trouble, I will end it, understood?"

"Crystal" Vi said before entering the building. The enforcer followed by making some remarks about the place and Vi responded by pinning her against the wall. "your hot Cupcake, so what will it be, man or woman?" VI asked as she leaned closer to the enforcer who was pinned to the wall, the enforcer was blushing as Vi leaned closer and looked into her eyes. Vi spotted one of the other guest walking by and grabbed his arm, and introduced him to the still red cop.

Vi left them to their devices as she made her way to Babette's office. She knocked three times waiting for permission to enter. It was only polite after all, the amount of times Babette helped her when she was running from one thing or another was far too many to count. "come in" Babette's voice sounded from the other side of the door.

Vi walked in and sat down at the couch opposite Babette who looked shocked that Vi was there. "Vi your alive?" Babette said as she straightened up, tears welled up in her eyes as she took in the young adult that she once baby sat for her old friend Vander. "I thought you were dead? Everyone thought you were dead." Babette said as she got up and hugged Vi around the shoulders.

Vi smirked a little, "news of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Vi sighed and leaned into the hug of someone she thought of as an aunt once upon a time. "how are things? How are you?"

"as well as they can be, and I'm well, but things have not been easy, not since Vander, well I assume that you saw the Last Drop?" Babette asked with a frown of sadness.

Vi's eyes narrowed and she could feel the darkness in her wither in anger. The shadows in the room grew darker and the dim lights got dimmer. Vi took a breath cooling the fire that longed to burn. "I saw, Silco's doing, I assume?" Vi sat heavily looking at the wall, which held a few pictures of her and Powder.

"He's got almost everyone in the under city under his boot, and even those he doesn't he has gained favors form." Babette sighed smoking from a pipe in her hand. "and no, before you ask I don't know where powder is, beyond the fact that she alive. But other than that, I don't know."

"Thank you Babette, that means more then you know." VI sighed as she stood up to leave.

"I do have information on Silcos right hand, you may try your luck with them. Drew can tell you more." Babette said as she locked her gaze on a picture of a VI and Powder smiling, Powder was on Vi's Shoulders.

"Thanks" Vi said making her way out the door. Vi continued to the entrance and heard giggling as she looked into one of the rooms to see the enforcer with one of the female workers laughing and looking like she was having fun. Vi smiled and continued on her way to the entrance, getting the info she needed from the bouncer. And making her way onto the street as it began to rain. Vi turned to an alley way and followed the directions she was given, as she made her way down the street her anger began to bubble, and the darkness with in her started to burn, the shadows in the alleys and those on the street grew darker, the little light that trickled form the over head sun grew dimmer, and the lights grew darker.

Vi continued down and soon a familiar sent filled her nose as she rounded a corner and saw Silcos right hand. Sevika. Her anger grew and her eyes went black as she stayed rooted to the spot she was in, seeing Sevika playing cards without a care in the world. Vi snarled softly seeing her smile a smug grin. And before she even knew what she was doing she was charging the rat and introduced her face with her knee.

Sevika fell dazed and shook her head as she stood up, "Vi?" Sevika asked incredulously at the supposedly dead girl in front of her. She was different, seven years tends to do that to a person, but it was Vi standing in front of her.

"Hello traitor," Vi was smiling a cruel smile, her eyes were black, and her rage was in control now. Punching Sevika in the face and forcing her to a wall, she held her arm and pinned her face against the wall. "you get one chance to tell me the truth or I rip your head off as opposed to your lung, where is powder?" Vi snarled into Sevika's ear.

Sevika laughed and a pink glow emitted form her arm, the one Vi was holding, and broke out of her grip.

A fight quickly broke out as Vi was for the first time since she was imprisoned on the ropes, the pain that came with a metal arm was somehow different form that of a metal cane. Though the fact that Sevika knew where to hit to make sure it hurt was also a factor. A few punches and kicks were traded back and forth, Vi's slowly getting stronger with each consecutive hit and Sevika's landing with the metal arm doing the same. With a quick dodge from Sevika, Vis arms were pinned against her side, unable to move away she was forced to take headshots from Sevika own forehead. Vi kneed Sevika in the stomach then kicked her in the crotch forcing her to let Vi go. Vi backed up against a nearby pillar and shook her head, the hits forced her darkness back into her control, Vi's eyes flickered back and forth form silver to black as she regained control.

Sevika stood up and saw that Vi was distracted and tried to pin her against the pillar only for Vi to dodge and back up into the space between the pillar and the wall. Forcing Sevick into a tight space, Vi landed hit after hit on Sevika, shoving her head against either wall, and landing quick punches to her gut. Before kicking her away towards the wall behind her. Sevika leaned up against it and was launched through it by Vi with a drop kick. Once outside Sevika laid on the ground and then tried to get up only for Vi to pin her metal arm down and rase her hand up to do a knife strike, darkness formed around her fingers forming claws as sharp as a knife her other hand holding Sevika in a chokehold. "Where is she!? Where is my sister!? Where is Silco keeping her?"

"Jinx? Keeping her? She works for him." Sevika said and Vi loosened her grip allowing her to breath. Sevika quickly caught on that Vi was distracted and launched her fingers into Vi side, just missing the growth that was there. It was then that Vi felt pain beyond anything she's felt before, a deep stabbing pain echoed through her, her darkness withered and screeched in anger, her eyes flashed black, and she jerked backwards away from Sevika. Panting she forced herself away. She could feel the darkness surrounding the wound, but it couldn't heal her where she was, she had to get away. Turning she began to crawl away, but Sevika caught up to her and held her chin.

"She's like a daughter to him." She raised her own hand in a to a knife strike. "I'll give her your regards" Vi was immobile, the pain form her side was too much, she had gone too long without feeling pain. She had almost forgotten what it was like.

Before Sevika could plant her hand through Vi's skull a shot rang out and the pink liquid with in the vile on her shoulder was destroyed, forcing the arm to go limp and for Sevika to let go of Vi.

Vi still feeling the effects of the stab fell to her knees and watched as Sevika ran away. The enforcer landed on the street and made her way to Vi keeping her gun pointed at the alley.

Vi coughed and spit some blood to the side as the darkening shadows around them receded and the lights became a bit brighter. "you let her get away" Vi said as she stayed on her knees.

"you don't give thanks much, do you?" the enforcer said as she folded up her rifle and stowed it away. Vi grunted a little as she let her arm hang, "he's going to know that wwhoseere here now."

"And who's fault is that?" she asks a little smugly before stopping next to Vi.

Blood dripped down Vi's arm and pooled undeYour her. "you goanna help me up, cupcake?" Vi asked as she lifted her arm. The enforcer frowned in concern as she helped Vi onto her feet.

"We're bleeding, pretty badly at that. And don't call me that, my name's Caitlyn," the now-named Caitlyn said as she put Vi's arm around her shoulder to better prop her up.

"we need to move, now." Vi panted and winced in pain, There was an odd pulse coming from the wound; it didn't match her heart, so she didn't know why it was pulsing like it was. it felt almost like another heart. Her darkness hadn't healed it yet, something was preventing her from healing.

And that's it, a new chapter, and probably anew story, but for now this will be left on as a cliff hanger unless many of you vote for it to continue, I just had an idea I wanted to put down. This is also the first story and hopefully not the last for this crossover.

Blood hunter signing off.
