Reviews Corner

TO ALL REVIEWERS: please don't take offense to this but I will not be responding to all the reviewers here. A lot of them were answering to my question in the last chapter about Naruto kekkei genkai, Sasuke or Satsuki, and harem or not. This does NOT mean that I did not read your review. I read ALL of them and I am thankful for your suggestions. It's just that for the last chapter, it is literally 43 reviews and if I answered them all, it would take forever. So I won't be responding to them but know I DID read them ALL and am thankful to all of those that reviewed and I hope you review again.

JAUNE117: I saw the grammar eros and I will go back and fix them, thank you. The Lemon was more… padding and practice for me and I don't plan for any more lemons within the story. If there are lemons, I will place a warning but I can tell you that I don't foresee any more lemons in this. I will take your suggestions into consideration and glad you liked the chapter, despite the lemon.

Shay Camp: we will see about Kushina being the sensei

Jonatanramirez164: glad you gave it a chance. I know the concept isn't really new, but I want to do some things to make this my own thing. I will take your suggestions into consideration about the Uchiha clan and Minato.

Smallszay106: I think something happened to the author fo the other fic so I don't know

FrostedOracle: I doubt you actually read this fic but to answer you, NO I am not interested in commissions. Please stop the brown-nosing

Arknova: I enjoy the Uchiha remix, but I do have a slight issue with Satsuki in it since the relationship kinda became silly. I can say that I wont be going that way, sorry.

James Kkh: your root comment is a little convoluted and seems too convenient. I will take your suggestions about Minato and Tsunade into consideration. _

UnleashedCreativity02: thanks for the suggestion. I don't hate Sasuke bashing but it has gotten tiring since it is the same thing of Sasuke being snobby and bad things happen. That trope has gotten old

Ryu wolf: thank you

FenreldStormblade: thanks for reading, Fen

Guest 1: I'm just not a lemon writer

Guest 2: it was an interesting comeback to Naruto fics. I have so many plans for all my fics but I just haven't gotten into the mood to write them

Archangel Igneel: I got plans and you will find out what happens as the fic grows

Boz: it doesn't need to be multiple lemons in order for her to get pregnant. There isn't really a number needed for it to happen. Anyway, I have plans for Naruto and will be revealed in future chapters.

Dragon and Sword Master: thanks, wasn't sure if I did a good job on the lemon.

TwinstarDragon: thanks and I will consider it

BornSinner01: thanks

To all GUEST reviewers: when you review, can you put something to help distinguish who you are? Would be easier to figure out which reviewer I am responding to as putting guest 1, guest 2, or guest 3, doesn't really help

Chapter 2: What next?

"Lady Tsunade, are you sure that you want to return? You've always said that you would never return there, no matter what the reason." Shizune continuously ran to catch up to her master, while the older woman walked with fast, deliberate steps—slow enough not to be a run but fast enough not to be a leisurely pace.

"Well, this was something I never considered!" Tsunade had a shifting expression as she made her way toward the one that brought her into such a mood. In one moment, she had the rage that would have killed everything around her if such a power existed, the next she would have a smile that could be seen as bliss. She was furious about how she was pregnant due to some random encounter with the blonde man but she was also happy about the idea of having something she had wanted when she was much younger. She had wanted a family when she was younger but certain events made her never want to have one in fear of losing it.

She would have blamed it on hormonal imbalances that were affecting her mood if it weren't for the fact that she was way too early in her pregnancy for that to even be considered.

After she confirmed what Shizune had detected, she mentally beat herself for not performing at least two of the three medical jutsus for this kind of situation.

The first jutsu, which would have been performed before having sex, would have protected her uterus so that it would not be accessible.

The second jutsu would be performed the morning after or directly after they finished. This would have killed any sperm in her body so that it would not ever have the chance to begin the process.

The third jutsu would have been done any time after confirmation of successful insemination. It would kill the growing fetus and all that would be left is to remove any material that remained or break it down for nutrients the body could use.

The first two were what she should have done, while the third option was one she could not bring herself to do. She had considered it all for one second before tossing the idea out. She couldn't do it to her baby. It was her baby. She would never do such a thing. She had performed it a few times to women who could not handle being a mother and now realizes why some of them stopped her just before she placed her hand on their belly.

Her mind was bouncing around on what should have been done. The logical part of her was telling her she should have done one of the three jutsus to avoid being here, but a new part was slightly happy that she didn't.

Either way, she was now on her way to the one who did this so she could kill him for putting her in this predicament. Slowly. Painfully.

"Lady Tsunade, please calm down."

Tsunade stopped and looked at Shizune to see a concerned expression on the woman. She saw Shizune look at her belly and remembered one of the key points she needed to avoid. She took several deep breaths to calm herself. After she was sure that her nerves had calmed, she nodded in gratitude to Shizune before she continued at a normal pace.

Shizune watched her master as her mind was still trying to think of who the father was. When she first found out, she tried to think of who it could be and all the times she had been away from her master for such a thing to happen. She thought about all the men that her master had spoken with when she had to do something but it never seemed to be any time for it to happen. There was a moment when she thought that her master had been assaulted, but she shook away that idea as she knew that her master would have destroyed anyone who tried. There was one person she thought might have been the father but she couldn't see him doing anything untoward to Tsunade. Yet, when Tsuande said they were heading to Konoha, she knew for a fact that it had to be him. She was still surprised that Tsunade was heading toward the village, but this circumstance was a very compelling reason to head there, despite the bad history Tsunade had with it.

It was after a few minutes of walking that the walls of the village came into view. It had taken them a while to reach this point as they had to take things slow so as to not cause any issues with the fetus. As such, they had made sure not to use chakra too much.

During a fetus's growth, it takes in the necessary nutrients from the mother in order to grow healthy, this includes chakra. However, at certain points in the pregnancy, it is recommended not to use too much chakra since the fetus does not have any way to regulate the chakra and if it takes too much at any time, it could burn the fetus out, leading to it devolving, or the baby to be stillborn.

This is why kunoichi are taken off duty when it is found out if they are pregnant. After the fetus grows to a certain point, it starts taking in chakra from the mother more easily, allowing the woman to use chakra as she normally would. But it is still recommended to avoid anything strenuous as the extra weight and physiological changes would throw the woman off balance, which could lead to injury, which could lead to harming the baby.

Tsunade came to a slow stop several feet away from the gate before she looked up at the large entrance. She swore long ago never to enter these doors again and yet here she was, entering the village that gave her so much grief. Her fists tightened as she was tempted to walk away. No one would know if she did. But her hand rose over her belly and, almost as if asking the baby itself, that she had the strength to get through this.

Shizune watched Tsunade from behind and was worried for her master. She knew the tragedy in Tsunade's life and she wanted to say something that would ease up her tension. She reached out a hand but paused when she saw Tsunade take a deep breath and step forward.

"Let's go, Shizune." She kept her fist tightened but she had to do this.

Shizune was surprised that Tsunade entered without any real provocation but she followed the woman, wondering how this meeting was going to go.

As they walked in, the chunin that guarded the gate, saw them and one of them called out.

"Hey, you need to go through the process of signing in and telling us your reason for being here!" He didn't know how it happened, but he was suddenly being held by the face with a good amount of killing intent aimed at him

"Lady Tsunade!"

Tsunade was holding the man across the counter of the checkpoint in the air as she was close to killing him. "I have more important matters on my mind than putting my name on a stupid piece of paper!"

"Lady Tsunade, please." Shizune placed a hand on her master's shoulder in an attempt to calm her down.

Tsunade took a breath and dropped the man before continuing as if nothing happened.

Shizune watched Tsunade leave before she looked at the pair of chunin apologetically. "I'm sorry about that. Um…. she is Tsunade Senju of the Sannin. Can I ask you to register her on the checklist yourself? She is…. Dealing with a major matter that is affecting her mood." she chuckled nervously as she shuffled away. "Again, I'm sorry." she turned around and ran after her master. "Lady Tsunade, wait!"

The chunin sat on the ground as his friend tried to get his attention back. After a minute of being catatonic, he spoke. "D-did, she say that was Tsunade of the Senu?"

His friend nodded as he looked over the counter in the women's direction. "Yeah, it was."

The one almost killed gulped as he brought a shaky hand up to the counter to pull himself up. "W-whatever g-got h-h-her mad…" he gulped again to try and regain his nerves. "...I hope whoever she m-meets next will see t-tomorrow."

His friend nodded as he brought the fallen chair over for the man to sit on. "Me too."

Minato held a document in his left hand while his right was placed on the desk as he was in the middle of a heavy discussion with one of the Elder council.

"-these lofty methods will not produce results that would show others that we are capable of maintaining security."

Minato shook his head in exasperation. "Danzo, if we do what you suggested, the other villages will see this as a show of strength and some of them might be tempted to test if we are secure enough."

"If we use what we have, it would be clear that we are secure."

"But it would still put us in the middle of a battle that could cost us. We do not need to instigate a battle that would destroy our relations with other villages. We value our trade agreements with them as they have resources that we fairly exchange with our own. I will not do anything that will jeopardize that for some vain desire that no longer has value for us."

Danzo gripped his cane before he spoke more. "But if we were able to obtain better standing, we could retrieve those very resources far more easily. Should they try to resist, we could send out our jinchuriki-"

Danzo was interrupted when Minato slammed his hands on the desk and stood up to glare at the man. "She is not a weapon for us to use whenever we want. She is a loyal kunoichi of the village, and you should show her respect for what she has done so far for everyone who lives here." He pushed off the desk and stood straighter. "Understand, I am the Hokage of this village, Danzo, not you. If I say that your proposition is denied, understand, that it is denied." Seeing the old man be silent, he nodded. "You are dismissed, Danzo. Leave before I remove any remaining political hold you have from your previous services."

Danzo nodded as he knew that this would go nowhere. "Very well, Lord Fourth." He turned around and began to make his way out of the office. This will not be the last time he will try to convince the man that they should use the power they have to subjugate the other villages. He does not wish to destroy them, but he does want to establish who the most powerful village out of all of them is. Before he opened the door, he heard the intercom of the Hokage go off and he slowed his pace in order to hear what it was about.

Minato heard the beep of the intercom go off and he pressed the button to listen to the receptionist of the lobby. "Yes, Yuki?" He made sure to speak with her in a more polite tone as he did not want the woman to think he was mad at her.

{Sir, I'm sorry, I wasn't able to stop her and she-}

Before anything else could be said, the door to the office slammed open and everyone looked toward who it was that did it.

Tsunade had fury in her eyes as she opened the door, which was soon directed at the old fossil that was standing in front of her. "Danzo?"

Danzo may not have shown much, but his widening eye gave away his surprise. "Tsunade?"

Tsunade's anger became mirth as she looked at the crippled man. "I'm surprised you're still alive. I would have thought that you would have already turned into a pile of dust after all the bridges you want to burn."

Danzo let out a dismissive grunt before he began to walk past the woman. He wondered what it was that brought the woman here but at the moment, he had none of his spies in the office as there was too much of a risk of being detected. He would find out later.

Tsunade watched the old man leave before she gestured for Shizune to come in.

Shizune rushed in with Tonton in her arms as Tsuande closed the door behind her.

Minato was surprised to see the woman here as he knew her disdain of the village and yet, here she was. His mind went over whatever it might be that brought her here and he could only think was that she was in trouble. He smiled at the women as they got closer. "Lady Tsunade, Shizune, it is a pleasure and a surprise to see you here. Is there something I can help you with?"

Shizune became timid as she looked between her master and the man she assumed was the father. Now that they were here, it was all but guaranteed.

Tsunade took a breath as she looked the man in the eyes. "First, I need you to remove your guards. This needs to be private."

Minato was confused about the request but he saw no issue with this. He raised a hand, and several whooshes could be heard, signifying that the hidden anbu had left the office. Once they were alone in the office, he turned around and placed a hand on the wall, placing a seal on the room to keep this private. Once that was set, he looked back at the woman and nodded. "Ok, what is the problem?"

Tsunade took a breath as she turned around and moved to sit on the couch in the center of the room.

Shizune moved to sit next to Tsunade as she looked the woman over.

Minato grew concerned as he followed them and sat in the seat on the other side of the coffee table that took the center of the room. They sat there in silence for a few moments, which just made Minato even more worried. He leaned forward to look Tsunade in the eyes and asked. "Tsunade, what's the problem?"

Tsunade didn't know where all her bravery went. She came here fueled by anger, ready to tell the man what he had done to her, yet now when she was ready to tell him, she felt nervous. It could be that she wasn't sure if she should tell him that she was pregnant. If he would disregard the baby, if he would be angry about it, if he would demand the removal of it, so many thoughts ran through her head, each one more negative than the last and more unnerving for her as she was also having trouble accepting that she was going to be a mother.

These thoughts were just her emotions going all over the place and were irrational.

Shizune saw the distress on her master's face and placed a hand on her knee to give her some support.

Tsunade was grateful for the gesture and looked at Shizune with a smile. Gathering her nerves, she looked Minato in the eye. "Do you remember that night we met at that bar?"

Minato's eyes widened in surprise before they shifted to Shizune.

Shizune felt nervous as she saw the man eyed her.

Tsunade spoke up before anything could be questioned. "She already knows about what happened that night and it is a clear sign that it was with you. That is not why we are here."

Minato shut his mouth and allowed Tsunade to continue. He could tell that she was somewhat nervous and figured that staying silent was the best option.

Tsunade's mind tried to come up with the best way to bring up the topic but beating around the bush was just gonna get on her nerves. The best way to deal with this is to just get on with it. "I'm pregnant."

Minato froze at the words as it was not what he would ever expect to hear. His mind repeated the words a few times before it finally clicked in his head. There were several emotions that ran through him as it sunk in that she was pregnant and it was obvious that he was the father. Panic, worry, elation, fear, ecstasy, many of these emotions overlapped that it was hard for him to maintain any semblance of maturity. He leaned back in his seat as he thought about what this could mean. He didn't know what Tsunade wanted to do with the baby, was she angered by it? He assumed that she might be due to how she came into the office.

Did she want an abortion? She most likely was not expecting this as they had the conversation after that night so getting rid of the baby could be what she wanted.

He inhaled deeply before he looked back at the two women and the small pig before he leaned forward and leaned his elbows on his knees as he steepled his hands in front of his face. "So…. what do you want to do?" He wanted to hear her answer before he spoke. If she wanted to get rid of the baby, he would try to convince her to give birth to the baby. She is the one carrying the baby so she has more say about it than he did, but it was his child as well and he would try to have the baby born. If she didn't want the baby and gave birth, he would take the baby himself and raise it. He just needed to see where she stood.

Tsunade crossed her arms under her bust as she looked the man in the eyes but said nothing.

The two of them were analyzing each other, looking for any sign that would give the other's thoughts.

Shizune was looking in between the two, wondering where the conversation would go. She didn't say anything as she had not standing here. This was a discussion between the mother and father of the unborn child. Her personal feelings on the matter aside, she had to respect what these two powerful shinobi would decide.

Tsunade took a breath before she sat straighter as she maintained her standing. "My decision on this is that I want to give birth to this baby." She watched Minato for his reaction, which would decide her next choice. If he doesn't want the child, she would raise it herself with Shizune helping out. She was only telling him out of formality and it was right for him to know about it.

It was at that moment that Tsunade realized that she didn't need Minato's approval for this. She will have this baby, no matter what he wants. This was her child, something she never thought of wanting before but now, she wanted this baby. Yet, what she didn't expect was for Minato to drop his series expression and slump in his seat.

He let out a relieved sigh as he was worried about arguing against her. He let out a chuckle as he leaned back in his seat before looking at her. "I have to say, that I am relieved to hear that." Once he calmed down he sat normally and explained his standing on the matter. "To be honest, I am elated to hear that I will be having a kid. I know that my opinion on this should hold some weight to it but at the end of the day, you are the one carrying. But if you said that you didn't want to have the child, I would argue against it as I would want a kid of my own. Having a family is something that I wanted for most of my life, and this is an opportunity for that. I am glad that you also want this baby."

Tsunade let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she felt a weight off her shoulder hearing that he also wanted this baby. "It's good to hear that you aren't against this baby. To be frank, even if you were against it, I would have ignored what you said and have it regardless." She brought up her fist and tightened it till her knuckles cracked. "Though I would have beaten you into the ground if you did say to get rid of it."

Minato chuckled nervously as he was mentally thanking himself for actually wanting the baby.

Shizune also let out a sigh of relief as she was thankful that they both wanted the baby.

After a second to calm down, he looked at Tsunade with less seriousness. "So, how should we handle this?"

Tsunade paused as she registered his question. She realized that she had no idea what to do next. When she found out about the baby, she immediately came here in order to confront Minato about this, and even if they made their way through civilian means, her mind never thought about what to do after this meeting.

Minato could see the confusion on her face and he thought about what she could possibly be thinking. If he were to harbor a guess, she did not know what to do after this. Wanting to help things along, he looked to Shizune. Can you tell me if there are any restrictions that are required due to her pregnancy?" The more he knew, the easier it was for him to come up with a solution.

Shizune was a little taken aback by being out in the spotlight but she nodded before she answered. "The most dire restriction during pregnancy is that she not use too much chakra. Since the baby is taking in nutrients from her, chakra is also taken in, however, since it is still developing, too much of it could cause any developing chakra paths to become overstrained which could lead to weakened pathways or destruction of them. Overdoing it could lead to….stillborns as the chakra needed to survive would not even be there. Damaged chakra paths could make it difficult for them to even use chakra. It is the main reason that kunoichi always take time off during most of the pregnancy since they don't want to hurt their baby, and they are at their most vulnerable because of it. As for other things to look out for, there is the usual-"

Shizune went over several of the other things that pregnant women need to look out for. Maintaining some semblance of exercise to help with the pregnancy, smoking; which could damage the baby, not that Tsunade would allow that. Drinking, which caused Tsunade to almost cry as she enjoyed a good drink but if it was for the baby, she would have to endure it.

As Minato heard everything from Shizune, his mind latched onto the biggest one. 'If she can't use her chakra, that leaves her vulnerable to anyone who can tell of her pregnancy. And even if they don't notice, there are still those out there who would want to try against her.' He tried to think of a way to keep her and their baby safe and the only thing he could think of was something he knew she would not want.

Tsunade sighed as she heard more coming from Shizune as the young woman continued to talk about what they should do with the baby. Shizune had finished the infor for during the pregnancy and has gotten to what they should do when the baby is born.

"Tsunade?"

Shizune stopped her talking about clothing as they both looked at Minato who looked serious once more.

Minato looked straight into the woman's eyes as he brought up his proposition. "I know you will not like this idea, but I would like for you to remain in the village during your pregnancy."

Tsunade heard this and immediately began to emit killing intent at the man.

Minato did not seem affected by the action as he knew this would be her reaction.

"You dare tell me to stay in this village after everything that-"

"I am asking you to do this, not telling you." He stood up from his seat before he moved over to her side, not losing eye contact, and knelt down in front of her. "I am asking you to stay here so you and the baby can be safe. If you remain here, we can make sure that nothing happens to you. On the road, you are vulnerable, and even if you avoid being discovered and hide your pregnancy, someone out there might try his hand at you. If you stay here, I can at least be close in order to be there when you need me."

Tsunade's anger died down as she looked the man in the eye. "But still, to stay here."

"Tsunade," he gently took her hand and held it in both of his. "I know you hate this village for what it did, but I'm asking you to put your faith, not in the village, but in me. Believe that I can keep you and the baby safe. Please, I want you to be safe. I'm not asking as the Hokage, I'm asking as the father of our child." He was sincere in his plea as he cared about her. He wants her to be safe not only for the baby but also for her.

Tsunade could feel herself lose control of her emotions as she gently gripped his hand. "But…. I…" She looked at the man in front of her and she was ready to deny his request but him kneeling in front of her was breaking through. This village had taken from her already but she knew what he said was true. She bit her lip as her eyes watered, her mind trying to think of something else they could do but he thought of nothing. "...how can we know that nothing will happen?"

Minato placed a kiss on her hand before looking up at her. "I will give everything to make sure you are safe. Let me be there for both of you."

The two stared into each other's eyes, one pleading for his words to be true, and the other pleading to protect her.

Shizune looked between the two and kept silent as she was out of place here. This was a moment between the two and she was the third wheel here. She looked down to her arms to see Tonton look up at her and they could both tell they should stay silent.

Tsunade gulped back any cry she had and silently nodded. She rubbed her eyes before looking at him. "You better make sure that our baby gets to greet the world happy, got it?"

Minato nodded as he smiled at her. "I promise." Seeing that she agreed with him, he stood up, still having her hand in his, and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "He will." He let her hand go and moved back to his seat. Once he sat down, feeling a bit more relieved that Tsunade would stay, he brought up something else that he felt they should do. "We should let your sensei and Jiraia know about you staying here."

Tsunade's mood shifted and she looked at him angrily. "No."

Minato was surprised that her mood shifted so quickly, and almost found it amusing, but this was serious. "They are going to find out about you staying here no matter what. The best thing to do is to inform them about what happened so they can help us."

Tsunade was starting to hate how this man was able to bring up valid points that she knew were right but she didn't want to do them. She growled as she crossed her arms. "I swear I am going to kill them if they annoy me. Chakra or no chakra."

Minato nodded. "I know, but I can guarantee that they will be happy that you are here and they will do just as much to make sure that you are safe."

Tsunade groaned, her head flopping back as this was another thing she would have to tolerate. 'Is it too late to just walk away from this?' She knew she already agreed to stay in this village for him and she was regretting it already. She let out a huff as she brought her attention abc at the man. "Fine."

Minato nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Tsunade." He took a breath as he continued. "Ok, we will inform them later on. For now, you can move into my place since there is space for you two."

Shizune looked at him hesitantly. "Are you sure?"

Minato nodded. "Yes, my house is very spacious so it has plenty of room for you three to move in."

Tsunade remembered the conversation they had at the bar and decided not to bring it up. "Thank you. We don't have anything big on us that would need to be brought in so we can move in after this."

Minato nodded. "Alright, I will also bring up some personal safeguards for you so you can understand what I am willing to go through for this." Pushing that idea aside, there were some things he wanted to know. "If you don't mind me asking, do you know the gender of the baby?" He didn't need to ask how far along Tsunade was, for obvious reasons.

Tsunade shook her head. "No, it is still too early to figure that out. It will be possible to find that out during my second or third month,"

Minato was disappointed as he was really looking forward to find out if he would have a son or daughter, but he could wait.

Just in anxious anticipation.

He nodded before he leaned forward and smiled at her. "Thank you for giving me this, Tsunade."

Tsunade leaned forward and leaned on her knees. "I should be saying that to you, Minato."

Everyone in the room was happy with the outcome and were all anticipating the arrival.

'October….. I look forward to meeting you for the first time.'

End of chapter

Honestly, I was expecting this chapter to be shorter, but I was able to get it to 5k.

I know the site and app are having issues but I hope you are able to read this.

I hope you guys thought the way I got Tsunade to stay in Konoha was somewhat believable. I came up with the chakra thing on the fetus as I wrote this chapter and I think it is a good enough reason for them needing to stay. It could also be a reason for Lee not being able to use chakra as I don't think there was a reason for his chakra coils to be unable to use jutsu.

Anyway, I came up with a few ideas that will be revealed in the future so I hope you look forward to what they are.

The next chapter will have several time skips to reach the next major part and will be scenes of specific interactions. Hope you look forward to it

See you next chapter

Flames will be ignored.
