Genji
Background:
Genji Shimada is a cybernetic-enhanced human whose life was saved by Overwatch.
Genji, the Shimada clan's youngest son, enjoyed a life of wealth and pleasure. He showed little interest in the family's illicit enterprises, and he spent much of his time living the playboy lifestyle. Many in the clan resented his father for coddling and protecting the carefree Genji. His elder brother, Hanzo, insisted that Genji step up in their late father's kingdom after his untimely demise. To Hanzo's chagrin, Genji declined. It was a brutal encounter that left Genji on the brink of death.
Later, Overwatch and Dr. Angela Ziegler rescued Genji. Overwatch promised to restore Genji's body in return for his assistance to fight the Shimada clan, seeing him as a potential ally. He underwent significant cyberization to improve his natural speed, agility, and ninja abilities. Genji, now a living weapon, set out to destroy his family's criminal enterprise.
However, as time passed, Genji came to resent the mechanical portions of his body. Unable to accept his current self, he left Overwatch and traveled the globe in quest of purpose. He wandered for years until meeting omnic monk Zenyatta. The benevolent omnic patiently accompanied Genji to find his true self despite the initial rejection. Later, Zenyatta became Genji's tutor, helping him reconcile his dual nature as a man and a machine.
Eventually, Genji accepted his fate and began to view his augmented body as a gift.

Gray Fox
Background:
Gray Fox, real name Frank Jaeger, was a mercenary and former agent of U.S. Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND. Originally a child soldier, Jaeger was the only operative in FOXHOUND to achieve the codename "Fox," the unit's highest commendation and was decorated five times.
Frank Jaeger had to grow up in harsh conditions. Originally a child soldier, he was one of the deadliest people on earth at just the tender age of eleven. Frank was rescued by Big Boss, who tried to leave him at a relief shelter where he could be safe, but he ended up getting abducted by the CIA/the Philosophers so they could turn him into the perfect soldier, codenamed Null.
After a series of complicated events, he ends up supporting Big Boss and Zanzibar Land, and then nearly dies, and is turned into the Cyborg Ninja. As the Cyborg Ninja, Fox helps his old buddy Solid Snake one last time in Shadow Moses to take down Metal Gear REX in the events of Metal Gear Solid.
Powers and Abilities:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics,
Limited Precognition (Able to read opponents' body movements),
Master Martial Artist,
Enhanced Mobility,
Expert Swordsman and Marksman,
Master of Stealth, Infiltration and Espionage,
All previous abilities enhanced, plus:
Cyborgization,
Forcefield Creation,
Energy Projection (Via Arm Cannon),
Radar Negation (Jams radar in his presence),
Limited Electricity Manipulation (His suit gives off an electrical discharge when damaged),
Nanotechnology,
Invisibility and Camouflage,
Durability Negation with Quantum Manipulation and Vibration Manipulation with High-Frequency blade (High-Frequency weapons vibrate extremely fast, allowing them to disrupt atoms with ease by shrinking their electron clouds. HF weapons can also cause changes to their edges particles at a quantum level, as well as cause quantum decoherence in the plank scale),
Shockwave Generation (Can generate shockwaves with his stomps),
Resistance to Empathic Manipulation (Nanomachines were used to shut down his emotions)
Weaknesses: In his cyborg body, Gray Fox has periodic violent spasms. Due to his body being composed of electronic devices, he is vulnerable to disruptive devices that target them, such as chaff grenades.
Song: Foxes and Sparrows
The Rock of Gibraltar stood majestically against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. Its sheer cliffs and steep slopes commanded respect. The headquarters of the reestablished Overwatch team was prominently built on the island, now the center of their heroic operations. From the facility, Overwatch heroes observed the surrounding waters, vigilant and alert.
Gray Fox, the former FOXHOUND agent, skulked through the halls of Overwatch's facility like a phantom, his movements invisible and untracked. He moved with the agility of a ghost, effortlessly jamming any radars or detectors that threatened to reveal his presence. His mission, assigned by Talon who hired him, was to infiltrate the organization and steal their secrets with stealth. The ongoing distraction at the Ecopoint in Antarctica had provided him the perfect cover to carry out his espionage.
Gray Fox had almost completed the mission, sneaking into Winston's lab, and aiming to plug in a thumb drive that was designed by Sombra to extract files when a shuriken suddenly struck his hand, sending the thumb drive flying across the room. Startled, Fox clutched his hand, and turned to face the unexpected presence in the lab: Genji. The cybernetic ninja stood his ground, arms crossed, as he challenged the intruder. He demanded,
"Show yourself, spy. Your cloaking device cannot conceal your presence from my senses."
The ninja's eyes locked onto Fox, taking note of the slight distortions in light reflecting off his concealed body, revealing glimpses of his invisible form. The man known as Fox disengaged his cloaking device, materializing in front of Genji. Fox responded
"I had hoped this mission wouldn't be an easy feat. Talon mistakenly believed all of you were still at the Ecopoint in Antarctica."
Genji looked at Fox intently, questioning him about his link to Talon. He readied for a fight.
"So, you align yourself with Talon. Dare I ask, what reason can you possibly have for working with such dishonorable terrorists?"
The man who called himself Fox spoke in a steady, almost stoic tone, but there was a faint trace of weariness in his voice, stating matter-of-factly.
"War is all I know. It's the only worthwhile endeavor in this otherwise meaningless existence we all share. This mission against Overwatch is nothing personal. I'm simply unwilling to let you take away the one thing that gives me usefulness in life."
Despite his stern stance against Fox's mission, Genji felt a flicker of understanding, having once walked the path of despair in Blackwatch. His response was a mix of determination and empathy.
"No man is without hope. One who gives up shall only meet doom. I won't allow you to destroy the things I cherish."
The red light in the center of Fox's metallic mask flared to life, and he convulsed with savage growls, consumed by the painful memories of loss. Genji, recognizing the imminent threat, swiftly drew his wakizashi, readying himself for a fierce confrontation.
Genji launched three shuriken from his cybernetic arm, aiming them at Gray Fox. The former agent nimbly dodged the projectiles, closing the distance with a soaring leap, sword drawn and poised to strike. Genji deflected the blade, but in the process, one of the shuriken connected with Winston's personal computers by Genji's deliberation, likely irritating the brilliant ape but significantly disrupting the spy's access to the database.
As the pair exchanged blows, their blades locked together, and Genji noticed something unusual about the encounter. He felt strange vibrations reverberating through his wakizashi, originating from Fox's high-frequency sword. Startled, he realized that the blade was slowly slicing through his own weapon. Sensing the imminent danger, he knew he had to act quickly to prevent a devastating cut.
Gray Fox swung his blade once more, aiming for another strike. However, Genji managed to intercept it with both hands, holding the blade to a momentary standstill. Summoning his strength, he pushed the high-frequency blade up and executed a powerful kick to Fox's abdomen, sending him crashing through a glass window. Eager to press his advantage, Genji quickly followed, understanding that an open environment would allow him to fully utilize his acrobatic skills in combat.
In a swift motion, Genji unleashed three more shuriken from his cybernetic arm, each embedding itself into Fox's back. The former agent emitted a guttural grunt of discomfort as he rose to his feet, turning to face the Overwatch swordsman who had gracefully landed on the ground.
Genji rushed forward, executing a rapid three-shuriken attack followed by a quick thrust of his wakazashi. However, Fox demonstrated his prowess, swiftly deflecting the shurikens and evading the sword strike. Anticipating Genji's momentum, he executed a flawless pivot, catching the Overwatch operatives and flipping the both of themselves backwards to slam him against the ground, disarming Genji in the process.
With a series of fierce punches, Fox struck Genji's jaw, propelling the swordsman backward. He then seized the back of Genji's armored head, forcefully smashing it against the wall multiple times. However, Genji reacted instinctively, retaliating with a powerful backwards head-butt, following up with a rapid spinning jump kick that connected forcefully against Fox's armored face.
Genji launched a straight punch, intending to strike Wolf Fox in the face. In response, Fox nimbly ducked under the punch, swiftly retaliating with a powerful uppercut. The two ninjas engaged in a fierce hand-to-hand battle, each countering the other's blows with their own. Metal limbs clashed together forcefully, creating a jarring clanging sound with every collision, causing both ninjas to stagger momentarily before continuing their intense melee encounter.
The two combatants delivered a simultaneous punch to each other's jaws, causing both to pull back and reach for their blades. However, Fox moved swiftly, slicing through Genji's wakizashi with his high-frequency blade. Reacting quickly, Fox kicked Genji backward before deploying the machine gun strapped to his back, releasing a hail of rapid rounds in his direction.
Genji, quick on his feet, drew his backup katana and took a defensive stance, expertly deflecting every bullet fired from the machine gun. Some even rebounded off the edges of his sword, ricocheting back towards Fox. Frustrated, Fox abandoned the machine gun, activating his cloaking device once more, vanishing completely from sight.
Despite Fox's attempt at stealthy locomotion, Genji was still able to perceive his presence. Relying on his finely honed ninja skills, Genji deftly thrust his katana backwards, delivering a precise strike that impaled Fox through the body without needing to turn around.
"You're not the only one who has mastered the art of ninja stealth."
Genji declared, unflinching as blood gushed from the wounded agent. Before Genji could act further, he was staggered by a burst of electricity surging from Fox's suit, which sent him crashing to the ground. As Genji lay on his front, Fox attempted a lethal stab aimed at his prone form, but the Overwatch swordsman sensed the attack and twisted out of the way just in time. Recovering quickly, Genji swiftly rose to his feet and delivered a powerful punch, sending Fox reeling backwards.
Despite the futile endeavor of becoming invisible once more, Fox pushed forward, disregarding the blood pouring from his wounds. He attempted to retreat, fully aware that Genji wouldn't let him escape. Utilizing his agile skills, Genji swiftly ascended to a higher elevation on the wall. He ran effortlessly along the wall's surface before launching three shuriken that pierced Fox's body, yet the injured agent continued moving and vanished around a corner.
Genji, in mid-air and flying from the wall, failed to anticipate the unexpected sight of Fox standing there a portable arm cannon, firing intense plasma beams. The force of the blast hurled Genji backwards, slamming him into the concrete wall and causing it to crack. With a cold, detached gaze, Fox continued to fire the plasma beams, releasing explosive blasts directed at his foe.
The smoke was brushed aside to reveal Genji. Despite losing his arm, he only needed one to execute his signature technique, the Dragonblade. Once more, Fox unleashed a blast of plasma, only for the cybernetic swordsman to be fully prepared to counter the attack.
"Ryuujin no ken o kurae!!"
With a swift cry, Genji conjures a green construct of a dragon, its vibrant aura swallowing the plasma as it spun around the swordsman. The stunned Gray Fox's eyes widened as he witnessed a sight that seemed almost surreal. The powerful dragon, guided by Genji, surged forward with remarkable speed and precision, plowing through Fox's armor as it sliced through his internal organs. The absorbed plasma energy intensified the attack, causing the former agent's body to explode in a gruesome explosion, leaving metallic fragments and blood to scatter everywhere.
With the fight at its end and his opponent defeated and dead, Genji twirled his katana, before elegantly sheathing it on his back. He then lowered himself to both knees, bowing to honor his fallen adversary.
Strength: Now, when it comes to physical brute strength, Gray Fox is signifigantly stronger, able to briefly hold up a 500 ton Metal Gear Rex, while I only belive that all of the strongest Overwatch members together could pull off the same thing. But in terms of attack power, Genji has the superior firepower, able to cut through an Omnic's giant hand of the Omnic, Titan. While it's similar to Rex's size, Genji can seriously damage it with his ultimate attack while Gray Fox needed an arm cannon to exploit a deliberate weakness put in. I'd say that Genji should be at minimum 3X stronger.
Speed: Gray Fox should be about 11.5X faster than Genji. While Raiden can deflect bullets as fast and frequent as Bastion's machine gun assault, requiring reaction times of Mach 20. However, around the early Metal Gear Solid games, Gray Fox could move fast enough to disappear from the eyesight of those who can dodge railgun shots, shots that can move as fast as Mach 230.
Skill: I'd say that they're both equally skilled as swordsmen. Genji is only a few years older than Gray Fox, and Frank was training seriously back as a child while Genji mostly goofed off until he was an adult, but made up for it later on.
Experience: While Gray Fox may have the longer amount of serious training, Genji has faced against a much more varied amount of foes, so once he gets used to Gray Fox's tricks, he's just another cyborg to cut down.
Powers: While Gray Fox has the superior weapon with the high frequency blade, and has several means of a seriously damaging Genji, his resilience is much left to be desired, as Genji's superior acrobatics, equally impressive precision, and death by 1000 cuts battle tactics, he should be able to put Gray Fox down before he gets too damaged to fight back.
The winner is Genji.
